AN: Thank you for the reviews, so this is the second chapter; I've also decided to incorporate some dialogue from some of Captain Swan's interactions. Read and review please, as it would be greatly appreciated. MysteryFan1997.

Ch2 - Captain Hook?

He's Captain Hook? So that means he's a pirate, I guess; that would explain why he attended our ball...

I watched him, as he interacted with those around him; I went to move closer, as I wanted to be sure. I heard a few different voices, as one man; wearing a red cap, asked the captain if he had managed to procure any treasure.

Another slightly older man, spoke.

"No, the Captain was too busy with the Princess"

So, he attended our ball; in the hopes, of finding treasure. There were plenty of people in our palace, there was plenty of opportunity to slip away, and break into our treasury; so why didn't he, surely he didn't do it, because he danced with me?

I moved, again; to try and listen, to what he was saying. I could just about make out, his response.

"Smith is right, I was too busy; I couldn't very well attend a royal hall, and not dance with a Princess. It's bad form, but don't worry lads; we'll get our treasure"

Is he planning, on breaking into our castle tonight? Should I warn my parents, or should I confront him myself? I backed away, my back hitting the tavern wall; I held my breath, as to not give away my location.

If he comes back, I'm going to confront him; he's not going to steal anything, from us!

I quickly made my way back to the castle, avoiding the guards; as I did, I made my way to my room. I sat down, before taking off my cloak; I dropped it onto the bed beside me, I replayed the conversation in my head.

I then remembered his appearance, he looked different; he must have decided to act, like a respectable Captain. I just couldn't quite, wrap my head around; how he got an invitation. Did he forge one? Or did he steal one? I guess, I could ask him; if he shows up here, tonight.

I jumped slightly, when my door opened; my mother peered in, before speaking.

"Emma, dear; is everything alright, it's just we didn't see you return"

I spoke.

"I'm fine mother, I just didn't want to disturb you and father; has everyone left?"

My mother stepped into the room, before sitting down beside me; she spoke.

"Yes, everyone is gone; a few however, inquired about your dance with that Captain"

I stiffened, before speaking.

"I see, and what did you and father; tell them?"

My mother laughed softly, before answering.

"We explained, that he was a Captain; and that he hailed from a neighbouring kingdom"

I nodded, knowing that was far from the truth; and if they found out that he was a pirate captain, they wouldn't be best pleased. I spoke again.

"I do hope, that explanation; placated our guests"

My mother answered.

"It did, now; tell me, how is everything in the village?"

I spoke.

"Oh, everything's fine; nothing new happening there"

My mother hummed in agreement, before standing up; she leaned down, before pressing her lips to my forehead. She bid me goodnight, before leaving. The door closed behind her, I sighed softly; before getting ready for bed.

I changed into my nightgown, before moving to the vanity; I sat down, lifting my brush as I did. I started brushing out my hair, deciding to leave it down; instead of braiding it, I then settled into bed.

I lay down, sighing as I did; while trying to get comfortable; I closed my eyes, as I focused on my breathing. I sighed again, thinking he wouldn't be that stupid to break in here; I sat up, leaning against the pillows.

I heard shuffling, followed by a soft thud; I peered up, I heard more shuffling. I watched, as a hooded figure got closer. I spoke.

"Stay right there"

The hooded figure, laughed softly; before answering.

"Is that anyway, to speak to the man; you danced with, your highness?"

I sighed, before speaking.

"And what, would you call; sneaking in here?"

The hooded figure, moved closer; I could just about see, their eyes. They were the same, captivating blue eyes; I had spotted in the crowd earlier, I kept my gaze on his.

I spoke again.

"So, we meet again; Captain..."

He lifted his hood, revealing himself; he chuckled softly, as he spoke.

"It would seem so, your highness; and may I say, you look stunning"

I blushed slightly, as I spoke.

"May I ask, why you climbed into my room?"

He looked at me, chuckling darkly; before answering.

"I don't answer to royalty"

I huffed, before speaking again.

"And I don't answer, to pirates...Captain Hook"

He chuckled, as he spoke.

"Ah, so you've heard of me?"

I shook my head, before answering.

"Yes and no, you see; you introduced yourself, as Captain Jones...but when I journeyed into the village this evening, I overheard someone call you Hook; at first I didn't believe it, that was until you spoke. I must admit, I'm rather surprised"

He nodded, before speaking.

"I'm sorry for the deception, your highness; but I dare say, it wouldn't have been good form to introduce myself as Captain Hook. Hence the use, of my given name"

I nodded, before answering.

"I see, however; you still haven't told me, why you are here"

He smirked, before speaking.

"I'm here for the treasure of course"

I balked at that, as we didn't have much treasure; apart from a few jewels, but I don't think he needs to know that. I spoke.

"Well you've wasted your time, Captain; you see, we don't have much to offer"

He chuckled again, before speaking.

"Ah, so you're telling me; that the great Snow White, has nothing of value?" I nodded, he laughed; before continuing. "I don't believe, that's true; Princess"

My eyes widened, as I spoke.

"What, do you mean by that?"

He looked at me, as he spoke.

"I thought it was rather obvious, I would say; you'd be of great value, and there's no doubt in my mind that your parents wouldn't pay handsomely for your return"

I gasped, before slapping him across the face; I spoke.

"If you think, you can just walk in here; and take me hostage, you can think again"

He smirked, before reaching for me; I shrieked, as he grabbed me. He held me in his arms, before trailing me off the bed; I struggled in his embrace, before kicking him.

I managed to aim, between his legs; he dropped me, as he fell to the floor. I watched, as he flinched; he moved slowly off the ground, before speaking.

"You're a tough lass, aren't you?"

I nodded, before answering.

"And, don't you forget it"

He chuckled, before getting up; he stood upright, leering at me as he did. He spoke again.

"You bested me, this time Princess; it won't happen again, I'll be back for my treasure"

My breath, caught in my chest; as he disappeared out the window. I watched as he descended, while silently hoping; he wouldn't come back, as he was just a dirty pirate!...
