"Honey you okay, you've been quiet and curious about Shadelle, right honey as she's okay but with her daddy, your big brother Shadic. You'll see her tomorrow at school girl." Sonic reassured Sonelle relieving her. It was early-evening so the family were having dinner only Sonic and Shadow noticed their cub was quiet guessing it was about her new friend but they were happy she'd made a friend. "That's good dads as we had fun at school and not caring if the other kids noticed." Sonelle told them. "That's good honey as it means you'll enjoy school." Sonic told her seeing Shadow nodding.
After eating, Sonelle was playing for a bit before having her bath and enjoying it which made both Sonic and Shadow grin drying her off seeing her quills poof up making them with Sonelle as the quills settled after Shadow used a hairdryer but Sonelle then went into her room changihg into her pyjamas hearing her dads making bedtime snacks as it would help her get sleepy and get energy for the next day telling her stories after tucjing her into bed kissing her goodnight turning on the nightlight before leaving her room. "It was good seeing Shadic again you know, as it's been too lomg and our cubs befriended each other." Shadow told Sonic as they were in bed falling asleep themselves.
The next morning, they found Sonelle there amusing Sonic and Shadow knowing she was seeing if they were awake. "Go play for a but as papa and I need to sleep a lil longer, okay." Sonic told her seeing her understand hopping off their bed going to her room playing with Claw and other toys. "Daddy's the Blue Blur, he doesn't need more sleep and papa's the king of Mobius, Claw." she said after getting dressed hoping to see Shadelle at school and after a bit, she heard her dads up going downstairs surfing down the banister landing on her dark-blue feet like Sonic making her daddy chuckle and Shadow look worried thinking she'd get hurt hearing Sonic chuckle.
"Relax Shadow, she's okay she's both us combined." he reassured him as they were in the kitchen seeing her sit down at the table seeing Shadow making himself coffee which made her curious which Shadow noticed knowing she wanted to try it knowing what would happen remembering when Sonic used to drink soda feeling anxiety flow through him.
"Sonelle honey coffee's not for cubs, it makes you wild like what happened, when your daddy was into soda and ended up in the emergency room." Shadow pointed out to her seeing Sonic nodding knowing their cub was just curious while they were eating breakfast. After leaving the house, they were taking Sonelle to pre-school but when she got there, she was looking for Shadelle not seeing her making her confused, until she felt said cub hug her which relieved her.
"Sorry I was late but I'm here now, sorry I made you worry." she said.
"It's alright Shade, younwere just running late." Sonelle said to her. This made Shadelle feel better her friend understood sitting on the rug with the other kids after putting their stuff in their cubbies unaware of what was happening with their dads while they were at pre-school but at the end of the day, they were surprised hearing that Shadelle was staying with them makijg Sonelle excited and so was Shadelle making Sonic and Shadow chuckle
That night, both Shadelle and Sonelle were playing in Sonelle's room and made Sonic and Shadow chuckle entering the room telling them it was bedtime making both cubs sigh, understanding they had to sleep because they had pre-school in the morning but they were tired after a full day of school but were getting into bed as Sonic and Shadow kissed them goodnight seeing them out like lights as they left the room. The next morning, both cubs were up and ready for school relieving Sonic and Shadow knowing this would be good, as Shadic knew that Shadelle needed a stable life so Sonic and Shadow didn't mind Shadelle living with them.
