Peter's admired Mr. Stark since he was six, so how could he refuse when he approached him with the offer to be his personal assistant?

"Yes, ma'am," he said, trying to keep his cool; the pay was good, and he needed this job. He needed to do anything he could to help out Aunt May, and this was the way he could. Mr. Stark might be a self-obsessed asshole, but he does pay his employees well.
