In Ms. Bustier's classroom everyone are studying a Litterature lesson with Ms Bustier about Les Fleurs du Mal from Charles' Baudelaire. Some students which is mainly the Miraculous heroes and their civilian identity focuses on the lesssons while other students which is mainly Les Enfants Terribles are plotting against the Miraculous heroes to humiliate them, then it's lunch time. Then it's Cinema Arts where the students learns about the upcoming movie which our heroes will be at the movies to see it : The Nightmare of the Lump of Horror (La nuit de l'immondice).
"So Sam, about tonight, ready for the biggest movie night ?" Asked Alya.
"You bet Alya, can't wait to see "The Nightmare of the Lump of Horror". Said Sam.
"Did you said "The Nightmare of the Lump of Horror" ? Asked two voices which Sam recognized as Juleka and Mylene.
"Uh yes. Why, you know about the movie ?" Asked Sam.
"Yup, It's one of my favorites horror movie, i've been waiting to see that movie." Said Juleka.
"I know i'm not being into a horror fan but I can't wait to see that movie". Said Mylene.
"Great, we'll take the Underground Metro to see it..." Said Sam.
"And I know a certain girl who would like to see that movie with a certain someone..." Smirked Alya.
"I know what you're thinking and something tells me that Marinette will enjoy this tonight..." Smirked Sam.
Meanwhile Chloe makes a threat towards the Miraculous Team.
"No way in the world, I will let Marinette have fun with Adrien and the rest of those idiots, especially Sam. Elmyra, Montana, follow me !" Ordered Chloe while Elmyra and Montana follows her.
Meanwhile at the Agreste's mansion :
"So how long until Randall comes back with that object for the Sentimonster ?" Asked Ridley (Metroid).
"Patience Ridley, it should be any moment." Said calmly Gabriel/Hawk Moth.
"I've found what we looking for..." Said Randall while showing an empty can of child scream containers (The Same ones in Monsters INC).
"Excellent, Nathalie, you know what to do, right ?" Asked Gabriel/Hawk Moth.
"Dusuu, spread my feathers !" Natalie declares as her brooch glowed allowing her to transform into Mayura.
Taking a feather from her fan, Mayura evilizes it into an amok. "Fly away, beautiful amok, and transform that canister into a Sentimonster to make fear into the Miraculous team." The Sentimonster is a giant black blob of goop with a large jagged mouth and sad-looking orange Sentimonster eyes, two long arms and three-fingered hands, and several of the scream canisters used by Monsters. Inc to contain children's screams and other machine parts sticking out of its body.
"Lump of Horror, I am Mayura, I created you, the Miraculous Team are on their way to the movies, find them, capture them and bring me their Miraculous for Hawk Moth!" Said Mayura. The Lump of Horror roared before making it's way to the movies.
Meanwhile at Sam's house :
"So Sam, do you have anything to do with your friends, tonight ?" Asked Nick Noctis, Sam's father.
"To be honest Dad, we're going to the movies just as friends." Answered Sam.
"Let me guess Sam, the movie you're going to see is The Nightmare of the Lump of Horror ?" Asked Lily Noctis, Sam's mother.
"Uh yes, wait Mom, how do you know is this movie me and my friends, we're going to see ?" Asked Sam.
"It was the first movie where your Mother and I watch as a couple, Sam." Answered Nick.
"Oh right, you already told me that, I gotta go, don't want to be late for tonight". Said Sam.
"Have fun your friends, sweetie". Said Lily.
"Count me in Mom". Said Sam as he exists his house and meet back with the team who are also his friends.
"Sam, glad you made it." Said Adrien.
"Yeah, that's funny because the movie that we're going to see The Nightmare of the Lump of Horror is also my parents first movie as a couple." Said Sam.
"And it will be a movie that we're going to see all together, so let's go !". Said Nino as our heroes goes to the underground metro to go to the station where the Movies are, a few metro stations later, our heroes arrives at the Movies but much to their surprise it's empty, not a single person.
"That's strange, not a single person." Remarked Adrien.
"Do you guys think we arrived too late ?" Asked Mylene.
"We don't arrived too late, the movie should begin in 8:30 P.M and it's 8:31 P.M." Answered Sam. Then it's lights out in the MOVIES.
"If you want to sing your Smelly Wolf song, maybe it's the best time Mylene." Advised Ivan when he saw Mylene getting more and more uncomfortable due to the Blackout in the movies.
"I just wonder what's the cause of the blackout ?" Thought Sam when suddendly he feels a gooey dark hand much to the group horror.
"All right, you got me Wakko, good one." Said Sam.
"Uh, Sam, that wasn't me..." Admitted Wakko.
When Sam learns that Wakko didn't do it, much to the group horror they saw the Sentimonster : Lump of Horror.
"Please Sam, tell me i'm not seeing this". Said Alya paralyzed with fear.
"No Alya, you see this, it's a Sentimonster". Admitted Sam.
"Anyone got a plan ?" Asked Mylene.
"We split up and use our respective Kwamis but don't let that Sentimonster saw you." Said Sam while the rest of the teens nods. Each teen chose a different projection room to free their Kwamis and transform.

Once transformed the Miraculous team regroups in the Theather Hall still plunged in the darkness.
"Now that we everyone is now transformed, let's split up and try to find that Sentimonster !" Said Ladybug, the heroes team begin to split up until they're stopped by Plucky.
"Split up ?! Split up ?! Have you guys watched any Scooby-Doo episodes or any horror movies ? If we split up, the monster will pick us off one by one, starting with the comic-relief character : Me and Wakko !" Exclaimed Wakko.
"Calm down Plucky, it's the real life, we're not in a movie !" Reassured Silver Claw.
"Silver Claw's right but just in case we stay together". Said Ladybug and the heroes nods.
Our heroes begins to inspect the theather room, they eventually reach a scream canister (the same ones of Monsters INC) in the projection room and the projectionist in a horror-like trance much to the heroes' horror.
"It's horrible, what happened to him ?" Asked Polymousse.
"I don't know but something's not right here..." Answered Silver Claw.
"Silver Claw ? I think there's something you should see..." Said Pegasus.
"What's that thing, Silver Claw ?" Asked Rena Rouge.
"It's a scream canister. In Monsters INC, Randall Boggs uses it to extract childrens scream." Explained Silver Claw.
"How did he managed to extract those children screams ?" Asked Cat Noir.
"He kidnapped them then he uses a machine to extract their scream as a source of power". Explained Silver Claw.
"How could someone that vile could use fear as a weapon ?" Asked Pigella.
"Because we know for a fact that if we didn't see an Akuma that means one thing..." Said Silver Claw.
"Sentimonster." Said in unison the heroes team.
But as soon as the heroes said this, the Lump of Horror came bursting out of the screen and begin chasing the heroes.
"We better move and fast..." Said Ladybug before the heroes runs away from the creature, then, they hide in a corner and luckily for them the creature didn't see the Miraculous Team.
"Good thing that creature didn't find us..." Said Polymousse.
"So what's the plan to defeat that creature ?" Asked King Monkey but as soon as he said that, what appears to be a spider web wrapped around King Monkey and Plucky and begin dragging them much to the heroes' horror.
"No... Don't tell me that was..." Said Polymousse in horror.
"Sounds like to me, Lump of Horror preys on our fears..." Said Ladybug.
"But how did it know about Kim's fear of spiders ?" Asked Rena Rouge.
"Ladybug, remember when we fought Mr D'argencourt when he was akumatized as Darkblade ?" Asked Silver Claw.
"Yes, I remember, he didn't want to be Class Representative because Chloe threatened him to reveal his fear of spiders." Answered Ladybug.
"I just wonder where Kim and Plucky are gone ?" Asked Pegasus.
(Meanwhile in Hawk Moth's lair)
Hawk Moth has a sinister grin watching that Lump of Horror has captured Kim/King Monkey and Plucky.
"Your Sentimonster has did a decent work Randall, now I have the Monkey Miraculous. It's only a question of time before I get the other Miraculous." Said Hawk Moth with a sinister grin.
"What about the Miraculouses of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw ?" Asked Nathalie.
"I'll retrieve it, first, we take the Miraculouses of their teamates and then the Miraculouses of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw to finish." Said Hawk Moth with a sinister grin.
Meanwhile with the heroes :
Our heroes are still in the theathers and they proceed to continue to search for the Lump of Horror but unfortunately for them, the Sentimonster has one trick up his sleeve and it will concern Max/Pegasus and his mother's job.
"Is it me or did I smell like something cooking ?" Asked Cat Noir.
"We better check it out..." Said Ladybug.
They see what appears to be a wagon of the underground on fire with a familiar woman from Max inside.
"Please, tell me it's not true..." Pegasus said in fear.
"Max, remembers, the Lump of Horror preys on your fear, you must be brave !" Reminded Silver Claw.
"It's not real, it's not real..." Said Pegasus, trying to dissipate his fear.
Until the woman turns into Lump of Horror who begins grabbing Pegasus and drags him, Rena Rouge and Silver Claw tries to save him but they watch helpless as Pegasus is dragged and transported to join with Kim and Plucky into Hawk Moth's Lair.
(Meanwhile in Hawk Moth's lair)
Hawk Moth is overjoyed to see that his plan is working.
"This night keeps getting better and better, I have now the Horse Miraculous. Once all of their teammates' Miraculous are mine, finishing off Ladybug, Cat Noir and Silver Claw should be a piece of cake". Said Hawk Moth.
"Let's see if Lump of Horror can now bring us two Miraculous in once..." Said Hawk Moth.
"Let's see with the Tiger and Pig Miraculous." Said Randall Boggs.
Meanwhile with the heroes :
Our heroes are still in the theathers and they proceed to continue to search for the Lump of Horror but unfortunately for them, the Sentimonster is again up to no good against Juleka and Rose.
"I don't know why but I sense that we are followed..." Said Mylene/Polymousse.
Silver Claw uses his wolf vision to look around.
"My wolf night vision doesn't seem to detect anything here, let's keep moving". Said Silver Claw.
A few walks later, the heroes found out that the Lump of Horror has made several gooey hands which captures Pigella, Miss Hound and Purple Tigress, the heroes try to save them but too late, the three heroines are captured. The survivors are Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Silver Claw, Vesperia, Ryuko, Rooster Bold, Caprikid, Minautorox and Bunnyx. Between those walks, the Lump of Horror also captured Anansi and Carapace.
(Meanwhile in Hawk Moth's lair)
Hawk Moth is overjoyed to see that the Lump of Horror has made the Catch of the Day.
"Who would have thought that a Sentimonster from a horror movie has a useful purpose ? I have now the Pig, Tiger, Spider and Turtle. Let's see if Lump of Horror is ready for the final trial : bringing me the rest of the Miraculous'". Said Hawk Moth but as soon as he turns around, he noticed that the Miraculous are gone and it's Plucky who gives it back to their respective holders.
"What ?! Where are the Miraculous, you fools ?!" Hawk Moth shouted angrily towards Jasper and Horace.
"I thought Mayura watched this, not us." Said Jasper.
"Comin through, the real hero of the Miraculous Team is here !" Said Plucky.
The heroes fled and then regroups with the rest of the heroes team.
Meanwhile the rest of the heroes team fled from the Lump of Horror who decided to take the rest of the Miraculous by trying to chase the heroes, until the heroes are cornered.
When they think that all hope, the captured heroes returns back with the team and now it was time to finish off Lump of Horror once and for all.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug throws her yoyo into the air to create the lucky charm and from it metal bars appears.
"Metal bars ?! How will it help us to defeat the Lump of Horror ?" Plucky said.
Ladybug clashes the two metal bars, making the Lump of Horror yelping in pain and suddendly Ladybug gets an idea.
She places the Metal Bars as a circle formation once it's done, Silver Claw uses his sword to bang in a circle motion the metal bars making the creature yelping in pain, and after one final bang, Silver Claw uses his special ability called "Howl of the Moon" which he uses a sonic howl to reduce the creature into a scream canister and freeing the amok which Ladybug uses to turn it back as a feather. "Bye-bye little feather. Miraculous LadyBug!" Said Ladybug.
"Pound it !". Said the heroes in unison.
After that everything is back to normal.
"You will know fear sooner or later, Miraculous heroes, I won't stop until your Miraculouses are mine !". Threatened Hawk Moth.
A few metro stations later, our heroes arrives at the Movies gets their tickets to watch the movie.
"Something tells me that Marinette is gonna enjoy this movie night". Whispered Sam while Alya sees Marinette watching the movie with Adrien.
"You got that right, Sam". Said Alya.
There we go a first chapter finished, to create this chapter I took as inspiration the episode "Fear Itself" from Teen Titans and the fight against Lump of Horror with the fight of Peter Parker/Spiderman against Eddie Brock/Venom from SpiderMan 3 (The Third movie of the Raimiverse Spiderman trilogy). Either way I hope all of you enjoyed this chapter. Next up, the origins, the chapter of Sam joining the Miraculous Team and an enemy with a vengeance, the first enemy that Ladybug and Cat Noir fought (spoilers alert : it's not Stoneheart).
