Toshinori was walking around the city enjoying the nice day, his chest wound while still there was much smaller than it had ever been and there was less pain, he was quite happy about that. But he wondered if it had just been a placebo or if Midoriya had actually healed him when no one else could, he decided it didn't matter for now as he was feeling good, although he knew he should pay Recovery Girl a visit. A car came rushing past with several police cars in pursuit. Toshinori smiled then stepped into an alley and All Might emerged. He began to run after the cars until he caught up.
"Never fear citizens for I am here!" proclaimed All Might.
All Might smacked the car knocking over vendor stalls and sending it into a wall, the driver got out and made a run for it while the 2 passengers attempted to fight. A criminal wearing a black mask and a brown coat began laughing causing All Might to laugh as well, the second guy wearing a Scooby mask fired a sticky substance at All Might. All Might even though he was stuck in a laughing fit managed to block most of the substance with a fruit stall umbrella that had been knocked over, some of it covered the face of the laughing man causing him to close his mouth, All Might stopped laughing and noticed he didn't feel out of breath, he made a mental note then tossed the umbrella at the man causing to fall and stick to the ground. He then turned toward the alley were the third had run off to only to see him returning having been captured by Ingenium.
"I think you misplaced this guy All Might" said Ingenium.
"I did, thanks for finding him for me" laughed All Might.
"No problem, his quirk is glow in the dark so he was easy to find" laughed Ingenium.
The cops showed up right after and began arresting the criminals. All Might learned that the three had robbed a few gas stations, the man with the glow in the dark quirk was the driver, and the two men who fought All Might had the quirks Pseudobulbar Affect which caused either uncontrollable laughter or crying in the victims based off the user, the other had Molasses. All Might then jumped onto a roof and began jumping from roof to roof until he saw a man snatching a purse, they didn't get so far as All Might landed in front of them. The purse snatcher looked at All Might then handed him the purse and put his hands in the air. Once the civilian got their purse back and the cops took the criminal away, All Might continued on his way until he saw a burning build and without a second thought rushed in.
"Never fear for I am here" Bellowed All Might.
All Might heard crying from a room and rushed in to see an old man trying to lift some rubble off another old man while a third younger man was funneling smoke and hot air out the window. All Might helped the old man lift the beam to free their friend then escorted them out, before heading back in to help more people who had been trapped. He came across a child throwing sand at the fire trying to keep it away from a teenage girl who had been struck in the head protecting other children. Carrying the children into the hallway as the fire had gone out there, he found the reason way was a man with glowing eyes flattening the fire until it went out as he led a group from a higher floor, he gave the children to the group then headed up after the man with the glowing eyes told him he could only flatten one thing at time and couldn't check all the doors as he had to pay attention to the fire and the people with him didn't have suitable quirks for this type of situation.
As All Might leapt from the building with the last of the people he could find, he heard his alarm on his phone going off meaning he had 30 minutes left. This meant he could check on the people he had saved and if he was luck get away with answering 1 reporter's question. All Might landed on the pavement and began handing the people he had saved to the paramedics. All Might saw the young man who had been with the two older men and walked over to him.
"Young man that was an impressive quirk" said All Might.
"Oh!, All Might thank you for helping my father's, my quirk is just Vortex Tube, I have these little tubes in my arms and it separates hot and cold air" said the young man.
"A good quirk for a fire fighter" said All Might.
The young man was caught off guard and blushed a little.
"Thanks but it's never been very useful" chuckled the man.
"It was a very helpful today, thanks to you we had more breathing room and the fires weren't as bad on the lower floors" said the man who had been flattening the fires.
"You're a fire fighter!" said both All Might and the young man together as this was the first time they noticed his gear.
The man chuckled.
"Yes my quirk is compression and with it I can as you saw flatten things, makes fighting fires easier" said the man.
All Mights alarm went off at the 10 minute mark, he made his excuse and then leapt away before his time limit was up. He landed on a roof that a roof entrance and check if it was locked and was relived that it was not. He put on a new timer and waited for his form to give out, he noticed a day after Midoriya healed him that he gone over his time by 10 minutes and then 2 days later he had 20 minutes, and the last 3 days had stopped at 32 minutes. He felt steam release and his form shrink at the 32 minutes mark. He decided it was time to call Recovery Girl, however as he set up the appointment for later today he made the decision to call Sir Nighteye as well and ask him to meet at U.A.
3 hours later.
Recovery Girl looked at the X-ray in disbelief, She was muttering to herself and Toshinori was just sitting there worried about her. She lifted up his shirt and stared at the spot that had formally been covered in a tremendous amount of scars.
"Incredible" said Recovery Girl.
"Can I have details please?" begged Toshinori.
"Incredible" repeated Recovery Girl.
"What's incredible?" asked Nezu as entered the room followed by Sir Nighteye and Aizawa.
Toshinori smiled at them but only Nezu returned the smile. He figured Nighteye was still mad at him and Aizawa didn't know who he was, but he had asked Nezu to call an underground hero he trusted.
"His scars are healing and his missing lung while slightly smaller has been restored, his stomach is still gone though" said Recovery Girl holding up and pointing to the x-ray.
"I was able to retain my form for an extra 32 minutes for the last several days" said Toshinori.
All 6 people in the room had different reactions to this. Toshinori was happy to finally learn that it hadn't been a placebo effect, he was relived he didn't go and down a solid meal since he was still missing a stomach. Sir Nighteye was annoyed as he thought All Might was finally listening to reason, but that hope had just been dashed. Nezu was curious about this sudden event but also worried that All for One was somehow behind this. Recovery Girl was ecstatic as she had never heard of a healer capable of such extensive healing even if it wasn't complete. Aizawa was confused, this skeleton of a man was talking about holding his form and has for some unknown amount of time been missing.
"Who healed you, speak to Nezu"
"Oh it was a teenager, Midoriya Izumi, she said her quirk was quirk vampire" said Toshinori.
"Interesting" said Nezu.
"Bald girl, green eyes, wears gloves?" asked Aizawa.
"Yes?" said Toshinori.
"You just had an encounter with the Nightmare Angel" said Aizawa.
Toshinori and Nezu looked surprise.
"I would like to meet her" said Nezu.
"She spends time at the Kiyashi ward shopping mall on Saturdays " said Toshinori.
"How do you know this?" demanded Sir Nighteye.
Toshinori was caught of guard.
"How do you know this is true!" demanded Nighteye.
"She told me, she's got a journal of people and their quirks, she pointed out several to me" said Toshinori.
Nighteye wasn't going to drop this, it was to good to be true and a journal of people and their quirks was a major red flag.
"What does she know about you!" demanded Nighteye.
Toshinori looked at Aizawa then at Nezu who nodded and began drinking tea.
"She doesn't know I'm All Might, but due to her quirk she knew I had been quirkless before getting One for All, which is why she approached me as she was confused by my presence" explained Toshinori.
Aizawa was surprised which was not an easy thing to do, this man claimed to be All Might and that he had been quirkless before something called One for All. He looked at Nezu who only smiled at him. He looked around the room at the 4 other people and realized he had just been brought into a secret meeting and trusted on Nezu's word alone.
"Did you tell her about the quirk's origin's" demanded Nighteye.
"Yes and about the battle that gave me my injuries" said Toshinori.
"I came here hoping you would finally listen to reason, instead I now find myself having to clean up a mess...did you offer her One for All?" demanded Nighteye.
"No, I thought about it but at the risk of her calling me stupid again I didn't, also she thought I was an underground hero, which is way I wanted Aizawa here today, I have decided to pass the quirk on but to someone who would be more willing to work in the shadows then the spotlight, I got lucky when I ran into Midoriya and unless this becomes a new injury, she can't heal it again and I doubt she would be able to save the next time, I got my lung back and more time to help people, I don't know for how long this boost will last but your right it's time for the 9th to rise and for 8th to start planning for retirement" explained Toshinori.
"Chill"
Nighteye was taken aback, he had tried for years to get All Might to see reason and all it took was an accidental meeting with a stranger for him to finally listen.
"Good but we still need to do a background check on this Midoriya Izumi, and I'll start looking for suitable candidates" said Nighteye.
"I'll pull up her school records if there are any" said Nezu.
"Send her file to me, respond to Recovery Girl"
"Of course, just her medical or all of it?" asked Nezu.
"Yes"
"Yes of course" said Recovery Gril.
"Uh what did you need me for?" asked Aizawa confused.
What All Might said next made the most amount of sense to everyone but generally surprised them about how much he thought this through.
"I need you to train my successor, if they are going to be an underground hero then they shouldn't be seen with me even in my skinny form should that be exposed, if they are connected to me in anyway while they are at school here then they can never work in the shadows, which is why I am going to announce my retirement and apply for a teaching position here, no one would think twice about two teachers having a discussion" explained All Might.
Nezu and Nighteye headed to the mouse bear man's office to pull up school records on their person of interest, All Might and Aizawa left the room to discuss everything about the truth of All Might. An older man stepped out of the shadows grabbed the X-ray from Recovery Girl. Before she could say a word, he told her to forget which caused her to turn around and clean up her office. He then left a note for a drop box with the instruction to bring the file to later. He left the room and opened a classroom door but instead of a classroom there was a wood paneled room with a black male sitting behind a computer, and a white male reading a book.
"So is grandfather alive?" asked the white male.
"I don't know but we might have another problem" said the older male.
