Izumi was on her computer looking up heroes from other countries when her phone beeped. She checked to see a message in the group chat they had formed. Inko smiled when Izumi told her about the group chat but didn't say anything. The message was from Iida.
Idia: "Dear friends I have received my U.A letter, it is some form of hologram technology, I would like us to get together and watch these messages together, I will wait to open mine until I know what you want to do" sincerely Tenya Iida.
Izumi got up and left the apartment to go check the mailbox and found her U.A letter. She was hoping for a simple paper letter but a small hologram projector fell out. She opened her phone which had more group messages.
Kirishima: I got mine, so manly, my parents want to host a viewing party, later today if you guys are available, any allergies?"
Iida: "Dear Kirishima I have no such allergies, please inform your parents that I thank them for their hospitality, Tensei would like to join as well if possible?
Izumi noticed that Iida didn't type sincerely this time and wondered if his brother might have said something.
Kirishima: My dad wants his autograph.
Iida: He's ok with that.
Ochako: I got mine as well, no allergies.
Shinso: Got home as it arrived, no allergies.
Shinso: Izumi I can see you watching, it says you're active.
Izumi: I was catching up.
Iida: Did you get a standard U.A letter or a hologram?"
Izumi: Hologram, don't be surprised when I get rejected from the hero course.
Kirishima: Will your parents be coming?
Shinsho: Nope work.
Ochako: Work.
Izumi: Work as well.
Kirishima: Ok see you there.
Kirishima posted his address. Izumi sighed, she didn't want to be a hero and they would be disappointed when she told them she wouldn't be joining them. She didn't know what she wanted to do yet, but she had time to figure it before things got out of hand. She placed the message in her pocket, sent her mom a text then checked the bus route. At night she would use her quirk but during the day green smoke would be an obvious show of quirk use.
Sometime later.
Izumi, Ochako and Shinsho all got there at the same time with a taxi pulling up to drop off the Iida's. Kirishima let everyone in and everyone got settled in the living room.
"Who wants to go first?" asked Kirishima.
"As the host you should go first" said Iida.
"Yeah" said Ochako.
Kirishima smiled nervously then placed the projector on the table and pressed play. A shaggy man with a scarf appeared.
"My name is Shoto Aizawa, I will be your teacher in Class 1A, you earned 72 villain points and 40 rescue points, as one of the top ten I expect you to be on time and only disappoint me at your own risk.
"I'm in!" cheered Kirishima.
His parents hugged him and both Shinso and Iida patted him on the back.
"That man looks really tired and is he really a teacher?" asked Ochako.
"He's a pro underground hero called Eraserhead, he typically works at night" explained Izumi.
"Oh" said Ochako blushing a little.
"Shinso you should go next, from what I heard you helped a lot of people, so you definitely got in" said Iida.
"Only if you guys don't mind" said Shinso.
"Fine by me" said Ochako.
"I'm in no hurry" said Izumi.
Shinso turned on his holodisk and everyone started laughing when All Might in a yellow stripped suit appeared.
"Hitoshi Shinso, welcome to the hero course, you earned 90 villain points and 72 rescue points, You made the top 10 at 3rd place, second beat you by 5 points, You will be in class 1A" Announced All Might.
"Dude All Might did yours!, that's so manly" said Kirishima.
"Yes it's really fascinating, I heard he was going to teach at U.A this year, I wonder if they had him do just the top 3 as Kirishima score was close" said Iida.
"That's a pretty cool reward, a very rare collectable" said Tensei.
"If second only beat you by 5 points then how many points did 1st get?" pondered Ochako.
Kirishima shrugged then looked at Iida and Ochako.
"Since Izumi clearly wants to go last, which one of you wants to go next?" asked Kirishima.
The two teens quickly did 3 games of rock, paper, scissors with Iida losing as he just seemed to chop the air. Ochako smiled then turned hers on.
"My name is Shoto Aizawa, I will be your teacher in Class 1A, you earned 34 villain points and 25 rescue points, you made the top 10 but you still have a lot of work to do"
"Nice" said Mrs. Kirishima.
Everyone looked at her.
"She got 69 points, what else am I supposed to say" defended Mrs. Kirishima.
"Iida your turn" said Izumi smirking.
Iida looked at her then turned his on.
"My name is Shoto Aizawa, I will be your teacher in Class 1A, you earned 64 villain points and 90 rescue points, you showed you were willing to work with others and adapt to the situation at hand, however you follow the rules to closely as evidenced by your outburst during Present Mic's speech, He could not hear Izumi Midoriya and Mina Ashido.
Everyone turned to look at Izumi.
"I applied for general studies!" said Izumi.
Yes we know, you've only said it a thousand times" said Shinso sarcastically.
"Come on it's your turn" begged Kirishima.
"I didn't stop any robots, I only healed people when they were brought to me" defended Izumi.
"A general rule of being a hero, keep the healer safe" said Tensei.
"Fine! but be prepared for disappointment," said Izumi.
Izumi turned on her holodisk and her eyes went wide when All Might appeared.
"So manly!" said Kirishima.
"Top 3!" cheered Ochako.
Hello Izumi Midoriya, you applied for general studies, but a programing error placed you in Hero Studies, you earned 0 villain points as you made no attempt to stop the robots but unknown to all candidates were the rescue points, you pulled many out of harm's way before even knowing the robots were malfunctioning, due to the exam going on longer than it should have you earned a school record that hopefully will never be achieved again, you made 1st place on rescue points alone with a score of 200, should you choose to accept the hero course you will be in class 1A, please consider this opportunity" declared All Might.
Everyone was quiet. Izumi could form a sentence in her head and began mumbling as everyone turned to look at her.
"Izumi chill you're falling apart" said Kirishima.
Izumi heard him and realized her body was beginning to turn to smoke. She concentrated until she wasn't gaseous anymore.
"Izumi I know you said you didn't want to be a hero, but you earned 200 points, think about all the people you could save as a hero" pleaded Iida.
"Come on Izumi, we would all be in class 1A together" begged Ochako.
Shinso shared a look with Kirishima and they both had the same. They offered Izumi their hands which meant easy access to their quirks. Izumi stared at them.
"Fine, but the minute something goes wrong, I'm heading to general studies" said Izumi.
