Todoroki waited by the school entrance as he really needed to talk to Midoriya. He saw his driver waiting impatiently for him, his father would probably yell at him but he wouldn't lose his job. He turned around when he heard her voice and saw her talking to Uraraka.

"Midoriya I need to speak with you" demanded Todoroki.

"No" said Izumi without hesitation.

Todoroki was surprised but he was not going to take no for an answer.

"Please it's important, I must speak to you about the USJ" stated Todoroki.

"Leave me alone, I saved your life ok, that's all" said Izumi.

Ochako grabbed Izumi's sleeve to pull her away as she could see her start to panic.

"Please, you changed my quirk, I need advice!" yelled Todoroki.

Both girls stopped and looked at him.

"Changed it?" asked Izumi.

"Yes" said Todoroki.

"Details" sighed Ochako.

"I wish to speak to Midoriya privately" said Todoroki.

"If it's about your quirk, she's gonna find out anyway" said Izumi.

Todoroki looked from Izumi to Ochako before sighing.

"My quirk changed when you restored my arm, my fire is cold, it also pulls in heat, my ice is hot and burns everything it touches" said Todoroki,

"That makes no sense, I healed you, I don't switch quirks" said Izumi.

'You did though" said Todoroki.

Izumi turned toward Ochako ready to leave when orange ice erupted from the ground. The girls watched as it quickly melted leaving hot steam. The girls shared a look then turned back towards Todoroki.

"I have no idea what did or how to fix it" said Izumi.

"I don't want you to fix it, I was determined to only ever use my ice half since the fire belongs to my father, he will demand you fix it but I don't want you to, this is finally my quirk" said Todoroki.

Todoroki bowed then headed to the waiting car.

"I might not be the only one who needs therapy" said Izumi.

"Maybe when you healed him with that guy who died, the quirk transferred and mutated?" asked Ochako.

"That doesn't make sense...hey Todoroki!" yelled Izumi.

He turned around to look at her.

"Do you need help training?" asked Izumi.

Ochako gave her a what are you doing look.

"If you want to, my house has a special training room." said Todoroki.

"Izumi?" asked Ochako.

"It's fine we were just going to study, my mom doesn't care when I get home, do you want to come?" asked Izumi.

Ochako thought about it briefly.

"Yes, I want to see more of his quirk, I'll text my parents" said Ochako.

The girls climbed into the car, Todoroki stared out the window and Ochako looked at her phone. Izumi suddenly felt a little awkward.

"So Todoroki, you have any siblings?" asked Izumi.

"Yes" said Todoroki without looking at her.

"Older or younger?" asked Izumi.

"Older" said Todoroki.

Izumi groaned on the inside. She should have expected this as he wasn't very talkative in class.

"Are you excited for the sports festival?" asked Izumi.

"No" said Todoroki.

Ochako looked up from her phone briefly before turning back.

"Do you not want to participate?" asked Izumi.

"I'm going to participate, I'm just not excited" said Todoroki.

Oh" said Izumi.

Izumi decided that Ochako had the right idea and pulled out her phone. She wasn't on it long when the car stopped and the driver got out to get their doors. They entered the house and sat their bags down.

"So do we study first?" asked Ochako.

"No my father insists on training first then studying" said Todoroki.

Izumi followed Todoroki into the dojo where they bowed before getting into a fighting stance. Todoroki launched an ice attack at Izumi who turned to smoke, she felt the heated vapor mix with her smoke. Todoroki then launched light green at her, it passed through her but she felt the air grow colder.

"Um Midoryia do you have any attacks or are you just going to evade my attacks?" asked Todoroki.

"Other then touching you, no" said Izumi.

Todoroki shook his head disappointed but figured this would him get faster. He launched another ice attack at Izumi who quickly turned to smoke then threw some at him but being just smoke only blinded temporarily. Todoroki began shooting off fire balls one after the other, Izumi evaded as quickly as she could but as the room got colder and colder she felt herself getting sluggish, switching between human and smoke took longer and longer as well.

"Midoriya I need to get some water, I'll be right back" said Todoroki.

Izumi left the room and sat down next to Ochako and flinched when she felt Ochako's body heat.

"Jeez your cold" said Ochako.

"I wasn't expecting to fight him, I don't know how long I can keep going, I didn't think I would be so affected by the cold" said Izumi.

"Really?, I left a while ago as it got two cold for me, have you tried to touch him?" asked Ochako.

Izumi shook her head.

"Can't you drain enough energy from him to make him temporarily quirkless?" asked Ochako.

"That sounds dangerous and it would be very painful for him" said Izumi.

"So then lose and we can go to this new ice cream place, Mina bought a necklace there" said Ochako.

"I don't eat remember, what's it called though?" asked Izumi.

"Pickle Popsicles, It's on Daisy Chain street" said Ochako.

Izumi's head began to hurt as memories of face people appeared in her head, the slime villain turning to dust, and most horrifically her organs spewing from her mouth.

"Ok cool we can finally talk" said the slime villain.

Izumi noticed Ochako looking at her confused.

"I need to step outside, my head hurts" said Izumi.

Izumi quickly went outside trying not to panic.

"Cool some alone time, but if you talk in your head, we should be just fine no reason for fresh air" explained the slime villain.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, I was just so mad at Bakugo and then your quirk, I'm sorry for killing you" thought Izumi.

"Oh right that, I'm not mad about that, and you shouldn't be upset, I was trying to kill you, I do have a suggestion though" said the Slime Villain.

"What?" asked Izumi.

"Convert your smoke into my slime, you can pin him" suggested the slime villain.

Izumi was confused by that statement until it fully registered what he said.

"Is that even possible?" asked Izumi.

"I don't know, you took my quirk, my slime replaced your insides, you should be able to...maybe" said the slime villain.

"Maybe?, I hate you...Slimy" said Izumi.

"Slimy seriously. I suppose I should be grateful you're not using it as an insult" said Slimy.
