Hello everyone. Welcome back to another chapter. Thank you so much for the follow, favorite and comments. Highly appreciated. Now let's move on to the next chapter.

I do not own The Legend of Korra or Kamen Rider

COMMENTS REPLIES SECTION:

DCDGojira: Thank you for the compliment. Glad to see you enjoying this.

LegionnaireBlaze: I vaguely remember the form names when I first heard it in Kamen Rider Decade. I was planning on going back to do some more research but I'm glad you cleared it up here. Thanks for that.

Foxsky Harem Emperor 2015: Good question but I remembered watching in a youtube video created by thomasjujube (Kamen Rider Kuuga Fan Adaptation video) mentioned how Kuuga's belt is a bit 'modern and futuristic' looking for something that came from an ancient civilization or in LoK's case, a world that still in the early stages of technology, which I agree to. Like I mention before, Agito is already 'spiritual' in a way. Another reason was that I still want to include multiple riders. Plus, I'm saving Kuuga for another crossover fandom OR cameo.

Austin: I'm surprised of the in depth thought in expanding the Lords/Unknowns backstory. That's amazing. I will try to give them a bit of a backstory but it's not the highest priority. The rules and laws of the Lords like in the show did have viewer guessing what the Lords' ultimate goal was and it certainly very entertaining for me when I watched Agito for the first time. I'll think about it.

Guest: I'm happy to see someone enjoyed Shen as he is. I received huge criticism in the character portrayal in my other Kamen Rider fanfic and a bit anxious about Shen. Nonetheless, thank you. I hope you stick around.

Lorenzo52lara: Thank you. I'll do my best.

Glavie165: I'll do my best to deliver.

Medalec19: I don't know whether you want it to be chapter 3 specifically or you want the identity to be revealed as soon as possible so there's no secret between them. If it's the latter, I agree with you. Either way, Shen's identity as Agito will be revealed either this chapter or the next. Read to find out.

BOOK 1 CHAPTER 2: Fire Storm

It was another morning in Republic City. Shen woke up without any difficulty and without wasting any time he got himself ready for the day. He stared long and hard into the bathroom mirror. He continuously making weird faces one after another, in order to taunt the apparition to appear again.

"Come on. I know you're in there. Somewhere."

He faked walked away before jerked himself back towards the mirror.

"Hah! Awww."

He did it a few more times but stopped after received a headache from jerking his head too much. Disappointed in the result less effort, he began getting dressed.

'What was that mental image? Was I dreaming about Avatar Korra fighting? Okay Shen. Focus. You were pulling the cart from the side of the street to the city hall. You saw the flashes of Avatar Korra fighting, you rushed there and…..'

Shen dropped to his knees with a loud thud. He clutched his head and screamed to the ceiling above.

"Why can't I remember anything?!"

"Shen! Are you okay? Are you feeling sick again?" Bilan's called out to his son from downstairs.

"I'm fine father! I'll be down soon! Note to myself. Stop screaming out of the blue."

In less than 10 minutes, Shen arrived to the restaurant area. He was ready to work but there were no one there. The restaurant was empty. He peeked into the kitchen to see his father and few kitchen staff preparing cooking ingredients.

"Father. Where's mother? Why the restaurant empty?"

Bilan turned to his son and instructed a cook to continue his duty. "Ah Shen. Your mother asked the restaurant to be closed during daytime as she got an important matter to attend to at the police station. We will open tonight."

"Oh. The police station. Police station? What's mother doing there?"

"She's going to file an official complaint about those thugs at the park. I wanted to tell her to leave it alone but she made a fair argument on how those Equalist played dirty by hiring those thugs could lead to you being threaten by them. Couldn't argue with her if she put you as the main subject. Sorry son."

"I'll go meet her there." Shen stormed out of the restaurant, ignoring his father's protest.

"So, you wished to file an official complaint?" Asked a slightly overweight police officer at the front counter. He was busy chewing on a pastry rather than taking Talah seriously.

"Yes. I told you that three times now." Talah told him, getting annoyed of not be taken seriously.

"Mind explaining the situation again ma'am?" He lazily asking as he licked his fingers and pressing the key on the typewriter, leaving his saliva clearly on it. Talah shuddered in disgust but held herself firm.

"I would like to file an official complaint about a group of thugs that had been seen around the park, specifically the spot my restaurant cart usually set up shop."

The officer waved his hand, "This affected you how?"

"To what I believed, they were hired by the Equalist rally nearby to threaten my son that had unintentionally disrupted the gathering the day prior by selling our family's dishes there."

The officer typed a bit more, "Were there any injuries that had been afflicted onto your son?"

Talah blinked a few times, "What? Oh, no. None. Shen's a smart boy. He knows when and how to avoid conflict if he could help it."

"Well. Since that the case and no one was hurt, the police couldn't do anything about it. We need prove that they are a threat to the people or broke a certain form of law. According to my experience as officer of the law, standing around and guarding did not broke any written law. By the way, do you even have a license to set up shop there?"

Talah's face became crimson out of annoyance. She can't believe this guy turned the conversation around and make her look like the bad guy. "Of course I have a license. I'm a law-abiding citizen"

"May I see it?"

Talah reluctantly brought out the license in the form of a small card and basically threw it onto the counter. The officer took it and examined it thoroughly. After a few second, he shook his head.

"Oh. This won't do. The license is outdated."

"Outdated? I just renew it a few months ago for another year."

The officer showed Talah a small serial number at the bottom left.

"This serial number is no-longer in use. There's a new license that you need to get. It will cost you around 500 Yuan to apply and another 200 Yuan fine for operating under an outdated license per month. Since this has been outdated for three months now so the fine could accumulate."

"This is outrages." Talah raised her voice. "I never heard of this new license and I always keep up-to-date with this kind of laws. I have been in the business for years." Talah was fuming but the officer just shrugged his shoulder in 'I just following orders' fashion.

Talah was about to opened her purse when a hand landed on her shoulder. She turned to face the one and only Detective Yaozun. He smiled at her.

"Misses Xiang. Glad to see you. I hope things are well. I'm worried by seeing you here. Anything's the matter? Is everything alright?"

"Oh. Everything's great, Detective. Just a little bump in the road." Talah said that as she slightly glared at the officer behind the counter from the corner of her eye.

Yaozun nodded, "Yes. Glad to hear that but I couldn't help to overhear the conversation that you just have. Allow me to help straighten things out."

Yaozun went to the counter and the two members of the law enforcement had a little chat. Talah couldn't hear them but she saw the expression on both of them. Yaozun listened to the officer and nodded the entire time.

He made some hand gestures at a certain document in a file and the officer began to panic. He read it thoroughly before handed the card back to the detective. Yaozun smiled and returned the card to Talah.

"It seems the officer had mistaken the new written law made by the council applied to you but instead it only applied to big corporations. Nothing to worry about. Your license is not outdated and it won't change anytime soon."

"Thank you detective. If it weren't for you, I would lose 700 Yuan or more today."

"Think nothing of it."

They talked some more as they exited the police station. Once they outside, they were greeted by Shen, who was out of breath and panting near tree by the street.

"Mother….what…are…you….doing…here?"

"Shen? What am I doing here? What are you doing here? Why are you out of breath? Did you ran all the way here?"

"Yes."

Yaozun shook his head in disapproval, "That's completely unnecessary. You could just take the bus or a taxi."

"I thought about it halfway here but I remembered I forgot my wallet."

Talah sighed at her son's scatterbrained attitude. "Shen, you always like this. What am I going to do with you?"

"You could tell me why you want to file a report about those thugs."

"Shen. Not this again. I just had this conversation with your father and I'm not having it with you."

"Thugs?" Yaozun interrupted them. "What is this about thugs?"

"Nothing you should worry about detective. It's no big deal." Shen tried to brush it off.

The detective continue to pester on. "I can't just sit back and let something like this slide Shen. Tell me about it."

Talah explained the same way she did to the officer earlier, only this time she could tell the detective was genuinely trying to help them. Yaozun went quiet and in deep thought for a few minutes.

"I see. Let me handle it. I'll see what I can do. Please allow me to drive you two home."

Talah waved her hand, rejecting his offer. "No need detective. I'm want to stop at the nearby market. Shen's here so he could carry my things."

After saying goodbye, they walked to a nearby market to buy a few things. While browsing, Talah strike up a conversation. "It's nice to know that there's a nice detective looking out for the people. Especially for us non-benders. Don't you think so Shen?"

"Yeah. The detective's a cool guy."

Talah was browsing the vegetables when she accidently bumped into a group of men.

"Oh. I'm sorry."

Seconds after that apology escaped her lips, she could felt a strong pair of hands shoved her donwards. She tried to cushion the fall but she twisted her ankle and wrist as she hit the ground.

"Mother!" Shen ran to her and tried to help her up. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine Shen." She tried to get up but the sound of laughter entered her ears.

"Oh. Did you fell? I'm sorry." A man's mocking voice caused her and Shen to look up. They were towered by a three mean-looking men. They had their mocking expression on and the crowds form a circle around the five of them.

"Did you hurt yourself?" The man asked as his friends snickered behind him. Shen wanted to get up to confront them but Talah held him back. She might hated the treatment but the last thing she wanted was her son injured himself.

"What was that for? She said she was sorry." Shen barked.

The man in front smirked before took a few steps forward. His face was inches away from Shen's. The non-bender was a few inches shorter and smaller in stature, Shen tried his best to look tough but he knew this three were benders and not afraid to use it on him.

The man could see the boy intimidated by him.

"You think you're a big boy kid?"

Shen was about to answer when the man shot fire out of him palm directly above Shen's head. The fire grazed slightly the top of his hair and Shen fell onto his back due to panic. The three men roared in laughter while the audience silently murmured among themselves how they were thankful it wasn't them in his shoes.

Talah scrambled whilst in pain to her son. "Shen! Shen! You okay?"

"Kid! Nice one. I haven't laughed like that in weeks."

Shen rubbed his sore back and immediately get back up to avenge himself despite his mother tried to stop him. "Shen! Stop!"

The man saw Shen back onto his feet and rushed towards him. "What's this? Want another round? Okay kid."

Shen went for punch but one of the guy stood behind the Firebender sprang into action. He swung his arms forward and a small pillar of earth sprang out of the ground and slammed right into Shen's stomach, sending the boy crashed into a stall.

"No! Shen! Please stop! Don't hurt my son. I'll do anything. Just stop."

The man walked forward to Talah and grabbed her injured wrist and twisted it slightly, ignoring the pain felt by the woman. "Anything?"

Before her could continue his dominance over her, a fist hit him right in his face, which also send him soared through the air and landed through another stall. The crowd was shocked and Talah even more so at the sight of Shen, stood his ground against the benders.

"I'm sorry. Did it hurt?"

Talah was about to call out to her son but in a split second, she saw an unknown apparition in yellow armor appeared where her son stood before it disappeared entirely. Shen stood in a combat stance and never took his eyes off his tormentors.

With their friend out cold, the two get ready themselves. The other one even opened a bottle of water to Waterbend but he was took off guard by Shen's next action.

Shen mustered all of his anger and strength he never knew he had. He thought it might be his Earth Kingdom heritage but he wouldn't stop and ponder about it at that very moment. He felt like he is one with the earth in some sort of weird way. He felt hard and sturdy. He collected all of that feelings and energy before kicking the earth pillar from earlier.

He was half expecting to break his leg and made a complete fool of himself but that wasn't the case. He felt the pillar was as soft as a pillow but hard as the earth should be. His kick broke the pillar in two and it flew right into the two man, crashing them into a building nearby.

The crowd took a minute to register what had happened but cheered when they finally got the full picture. They cheered and even some of them rushed to the young man to congratulate him.

Shen was still in a dazed but his hand was tugged in all direction by the crowd of people, wanting to shake his hand. Talah was helped up and limped to her son.

"Shen?"

"Yes mother?"

"Let's go home."

"Sound's good mother."

Shen helped his mother walked home in silence as the crowd waved goodbye behind them. They did not pay much mind to the celebration as they still trying to process the entire ordeal. Once they reached home, Bilan was losing his head at the sight of his wife in such state.

Now, he was wrapping bandages around Talah's wrist.

"Are you sure you're fine Talah? We could closed for the day. I'm sure the staff understands."

Talah shook her head. She always been stubborn, especially when it came to her restaurant and the staff's daily income. Bilan helped her up and they walked towards Shen that had been silently sitting at their living room. They sat beside him and Talah gave him a smile.

"Are you hurt anywhere Shen?"

Shen just shook his head slowly. "I'm fine mother."

"That's good. I'm worried that you might hurt your leg or your stomach." She pushed Shen's bangs away from covering his face but Shen just swiped her hand away before walking to an opened window.

"Shen?"

"What is wrong with me? I can't believe I just did that."

Talah and her husband looked at each other before Bilan stood up. "From what your mother had told me. It was a bit out of character of you to pick fights like that but they were terrorizing you and your mother. It's either them or you. But, if you're still idle of the fact you kicked a earth pillar and send two grown man into a building, then, that's was pretty something. I wish I was there to see it."

"You should have seen it Bilan. Shen was so amazing. He kicked it like it was nothing. For a second, I thought he was an Earthbender. What's more impressive that you hadn't suffered any injuries from that earth pillar slammed into your guts, Shen."

Talah continue to shower Shen in compliments, "Ah. What if a girl saw it? It could make any girl swoon."

Bilan chuckled at his wife's antics. "That's enough Talah."

"It wasn't entirely false mother." Shen spoke to them.

"What do you mean?"

Shen walked back to them, "When I kicked the pillar. I felt this immense amount of energy in me. An unknown energy came from the earth. I felt like I could break anything. I don't know why I kicked it but something tells me I could."

"I don't know much about such power." Bilan intruded. "But, I could say you're lucky in away. You always have been a special kid Shen and I'm not saying it because I'm your father. Now, let's put the past behind us. Talah, you're not leaving this house or establishment until you are fully healed. After that, anytime you need to go somewhere, you must at least bring Shen or me along. No exceptions."

Talah wanted to protests but a loud knocking presented itself.

"Who is it?"

"Boss. Sorry to bother you. We got great news."

Talah read through the letter she received from one of her employees that just arrived a few minutes ago. It was a letter of approval that she had applied from the Pro-bending Arena to set up shop at one of the many stands there. She had applied it several times but were rejected as there were so many other competition that exceed her restaurant in the name department alone. In the end, they were given a slot when another renter pulled out at the last minute.

"We may haven't gotten anywhere with the thugs at the park but we got a stall at the Pro-Bending Arena. Isn't that great?" Talah asked her family and workers.

"That's great boss. But, who's going to managed it?"

"I personally believed that Shen and the few of you should handle it. Shen's already got experience. This is no different from running a food cart. Now, the Pro-Bending qualifying rounds will start tonight. We need to get everything ready."

Shen was wiping the food cart as Bilan approached his son. "You know. Being assaulted by benders doesn't seemed to waver your mother's spirit in associating somewhere benders would be the center of attention."

"That's mother for you dad. Those benders at the market were just bad eggs. A few bad eggs in a carton. We don't throw out the entire thing. We only get rid of the bad ones. By only using the good ones, we could make great dishes. At least, that's what I think."

Bilan laughed at his son's analogy. "Shen, you took after your mother alright."

"Is that a bad thing?"

"No. I just don't think the world is ready for two equally amazing people that's all."

Yaozun stopped his car and walked towards the park. He scanned the area and recognized the mean looking group of men near an Equalist gathering. He approached the crowd of people and pushed right through them.

"Excuse me."

"What do you want?" The preached man on the stage got angry at the sight of the law enforcer. "Can't you see that I'm busy?"

"I'm Detective Yaozun and I could see you're busy but what you're doing is not advisable. You're rally and propaganda could lead to tension between the benders and non-benders. Those thugs you hired could lead to discomfort of the people in the park. I would have to ask you to step down please."

"Propaganda? I rather it would be called what it truly is. The truth! You're the same. Oppressing the voice of the non-benders."

"I understand the unfair treatment the non-benders received. I sympathized. It must be taken seriously and it will. Spouting hatred such as this will not help anyone."

"Attention good non-benders of Republic City. This detective is asking the voice of the non-benders to be press down. We will not stop. There's only one thing we say to oppressive benders such as this one."

"Equality now!"

"Benders go home!"

"We don't need benders."

Yaozun slowly walked backwards. The crowds' chants slowly getting louder and more aggressive. The thugs slowly walked towards him as well. He need to get out of there before the situation get any worse. He tried to make it to his car and call for backup.

Nearby, a couple were having a date through the park. They were enjoying the scenery and the beauty of nature. The man turned to his girlfriend.

"I'm sorry that I have to leave the city tomorrow for a training regime with the United Forces. I will be back in a few months, just in time for your father's birthday."

The girl put on the best smile she could before kissed her boyfriend on the cheek. "I understand. Please be safe. I must go now. I'll meet you at the departing docks tomorrow."

The girl walked off as her boyfriend waved at her. She only took a few steps before remembered about something she need to tell him. She turned around but was surprised when her boyfriend was no longer there. She looked around and couldn't find him anywhere. She tried a few more minutes before a scream of a man distracted her from the search, followed by a loud crash.

She turned around to see a crowd formed around something. She approached them with shaking footsteps and took a peek over their shoulder. The crowd saw color drained from her face and she collapsed to the ground, but a few of them caught her before she hit the earth.

A pair of red sinister eyes looked at the people from above, hovering in the air as it crossed its arms in delight. The sight of the unconscious woman fainting after seeing her dead boyfriend's body all mangled up in a pool of blood brought nothing but joy.

The crowd began to be restless and began to disperse when a man in one of those law uniforms came to inspect the body. The creature with the crow head smiled sinisterly as the people began to get agitated and pointed fingers at each other, as if the culprit was among them.

"More. The Lord must be please at all cost."

It talked with a dark and croaked voice before flew away to find more victims, as instructed by its 'Lord'. It flew down onto a nearby building top before taking its precious time looking at the options presented to it. Who should it choose?

The group of water bender street performers? The metal benders police that currently restraining a pickpocket? Or a group of fire benders girls that currently window shopping? Decisions, decisions. Deciding is hard.

Its concentration broke when footsteps approached it from behind. A blinding light alongside a shimmering sound. The light died down and the golden warrior presented himself. The unknown cursed its bad luck.

"Agito!"

Agito lunged forward and punch it right in the face. As it rolled on the ground, Agito forcefully lifted it off the ground and delivered a few punches to its body. The Crow Unknown jumped and dropkicked Agito in the chest and ran to the edge of the building. It jumped off and flew away. As it thought it was safe, Agito jumped after it. He grabbed onto its legs and held on tight. It tried to shake him off but Agito took the chance to change its trajectory by 'steering' it away from the public and towards a secluded industrial area.

The Unknown began to lose its balance and the two off them crashed through the roof of an old warehouse. Workers inside panicked at their 'grand' entrance and rushed to the exit. Agito and the Unknown duke it out in the warehouse without any thought towards the condition of the content.

The unknown slashed Agito with its wings under the arms and kicked him into a pile of metal chains.

It tried to fly away but Agito threw the metal chains and wrapped it around its legs. The warrior swung it around in circles, knocking down boxes and many other things. He pulled the Unknown back down onto a pile of boxes.

Agito rushed forward but it threw several feathers that was hard as metal towards him. It hit Agito right in the chest and it managed to buy it some time. It tried to escape but four walls of earth shot out from the ground and a slab of earth placed on top of it. Sealed it in a stony prison.

"We got it! Move! Secure the other one."

Several police officers rushed into the warehouse and surrounded the two. They got themselves ready. Agito slowly got up and stared at the man around him.

"Easy now. We don't want any trouble. Both you and me. Why don't you just follow us to the station and answer a few questions. Sounds good?"

Agito ignored the man and continue to keep an eye of his true enemy. The flying monster trapped in the earth prison.

"Don't worry about your friend. We'll try to be nice to it. Now, slowly…."

Agito ignored the man as he heard a cracking sound coming from the 'prison'. The Unknown burst through the wall and coming directly towards one of the officers. He screamed as the creature came towards him but Agito intercepted but effortlessly bashed it away with his elbow.

It took this chance to escape but several metal cords wrapped its legs once again. Unlike Agito, the police weren't strong enough to hold it down. They were took along for the ride through the roof and into the sky. Other officers shot fire, water and earth at it but it managed to evade. The only thing they managed to do was hit their fellow officers.

As the weight slowly falling off one by one, the Unknown flew faster and faster. It turned around and sneered at Agito that was left on the ground. The police force helped their fellow comrades before focusing on the Agito. They searched the area but he was nowhere to be found.

"Damn it. We lost him again. Chief will not be happy."

Agito slowly walked into an empty alleyway and looked around. He could sense the area was safe and undo the transformation in a bright flash of light. Shen slumped against the wall and sweated heavily.

"So, that wasn't a dream. I was partially conscious that time. Can't believe I fought that thing. Those fighting moves. Since when I could fight like that?"

Shen pondered about it the whole way home. He was hoping that he wouldn't have to fight that creature anytime soon. He entered the restaurant and saw his mother working the cashier.

"Welcome back Shen. Oh. Where the milk?"

"Milk?"

"Yes. You ran out in a hurry. When I asked, you said you were getting some milk. Remember?"

Shen's looked frantically at everything around the restaurant except for his mother's brown eyes. She raised a brow but Shen still couldn't gave her an answer. "Shen?"

"The shop ran out."

"Of milk?"

"Yeah. What a bad timing."

"Odd. Old man Zhong's store would never ran out of milk. He always have some in stock."

Shen quickly walked up the stairs to his room. "That's too bad but what could you do? Well, I'm going to get wash up and change for tonight. Bye." With that Shen rushed up the stairs and slammed his room door shut. Talah stared at the stairs that her son retreated on and sighed.

"Shen. What's gotten into you? I know I shouldn't worry too much but I can't help it."

"Victim was male, Fire Nation descend, a good Firebender, 26 years old, a Sergeant in the United Forces and on his way to be promoted to Staff Sergeant in a few months. Orphan since a few years ago when both parents died in an airship accident. No relatives in the city and the only close contact outside of the military was his girlfriend of five years. A non-bender from the Northern Water Tribe that worked as an office worker."

Yaozun finished the full identity report of the victim to Chief Beifong. She stayed quiet and poured herself some coffee. "Another killing. What chances of this being the work of one of those things?"

"Quite possible. The death was due to fall of high places. Since the scene of the crime was in the park. There's no possible places that is high enough the victim could fell from to result in that kind of...manglement. After questioning the people, no one heard or saw anything until the victim…fell."

"So, you're telling me that the monster lifted the victim into the air and dropped them? That's just so unreal. The man was a soldier, he could just…"

"Sometimes, sudden event could lead the victim to be blanked out from thinking rationally. Soldier or not, the victim must at the very least had been taken by surprise."

Chief Beifong just glared at the detective.

"Sorry Chief."

"Next. I would like to discuss with you about the Agito. What do you know about him?"

"Well. According to my own experience, he's a skilled and well-trained fighter. He fought with the monster with amazing reflexes and agility. He's very resourceful. It seemed that the monster were scared or at the very least, wary about him."

"How come?"

"When Agito first arrived the other night. They treated him as a threat rather than an ally or someone they could tolerate. It clearly they have mutual dislike of each other."

"Hmm." The only sound Chief Beifong made. "You believed he's on the side of humanity?"

"I can't say for certain but he saved us at the city hall and he willing to let me and the Avatar to assist him in combat. He did not attack us back or the Avatar when she went to face him personally. He didn't do anything other than ignoring us."

"All of this doesn't make any sense."

"Chief. I think we should allow Avatar Korra to get to the bottom of this."

"What?!"

Yaozun defend himself from the coffee Chief Beifong spat at him. "I believed if there's anyone that might get to uncover his identity of Agito is the Avatar."

"That brat? What would she know about interrogation?"

"I'm not asking the Avatar to interrogate him. It's time that we talked to Agito face to face. He's not a criminal need to be interrogate. It might help us determine his standing. If he got nothing against us, he might willing to cooperate."

As a headache slowly crept itself onto Chief Beifong, a loud knock landed on her office door.

"Who is it?"

The door opened and an officer peeked in. "Sorry to bother you Chief. We received reports of one of those monsters and the yellow armored fighter fought in a warehouse owned by Future Industries. Mr. Sato would like to set up a meeting time."

"Just what we need. I need some alone time, Detective." She sarcastically commented. Detective Yaozun bowed slightly and walked towards the door before the Chief stopped him.

"Detective. Do what you have to do. I put my trust in you. Can't believe I said that."

The detective thanked her and began to put his plan together.

"Shen. Where should I put this?"

"Put it near the dumplings. It act as an additional seasoning."

"What about this one?"

"Keep it in the box for a while. Put it outside too soon will only make it dry due to exposure to the air. If you guys are done, please go around and handed these flyers. Spread the word."

Shen was setting up their stall at the Pro-Bending Arena while the staff spread the word. He was trusted to handle the stall and he intend to keep that promise after making his mother worried non-stop just today alone. He need to get ready as soon as possible since tonight's qualifying round will begin in an hour and people already starting to pack.

"Wow, a new cater." A excited male voice squeal in excitement. Shen looked up to see a boy around his age in a red and white Pro-bending uniforms. He is more muscular than him and Shen notice this. His pale green eyes zoomed all around the stall and drooled at the sight of the food.

"I'm sorry. We're not properly ready yet. Give us a few minutes."

"Sure. No problem." The guy replied with a smile. "You're new here right?"

"Yeah. How do you know?"

"Duh. I know everyone. The stalls that is. I know a new cater when I see one. It's sad to see Baba's Choice pulled out though. What am I rambling about? Where are my manners? I'm Bolin. Earthbender of the Fire Ferrets."

He offered his hand and Shen gladly took it. "Shen Xiang. Son of the owner of Xiang's Delight. Please to meet you Bolin."

Shen put out an 'Open' sign at the front. "Now, we're open."

"Great! I'll have….one of everything!"

"You got it."

Shen began to grab each of the items on display. He was about to hand over the food on a tray when someone called Bolin over.

"Bolin! What are you doing?"

"Gah! Mako!"

An older boy came towards them, wearing the same uniform as Bolin. He's taller than both of them and his tangerine-colored eyes seemed to be able to pierce into Shen's very soul. He looked at them before glaring at Bolin.

"Bolin. What are you doing here? The qualifying starts in an hour and you're buying food?"

"Mako. Big bro. Our match wouldn't start for at least another two or three hours. We got plenty of time. Besides, Hasook's not even here yet."

"Don't change the subject. First, you just ate…"

"A bowl of porridge."

"Doesn't matter. Second, how do you expect to pay for all this?" Mako gestured at the food bought by Bolin that currently resting on a tray.

"You don't have money?" Shen asked Bolin.

"No no no no. I was going to pay. I just wanted to ask you to put it on our tab until we got paid later this week. Pretty please." Bolin pleaded.

"Oh."

Mako groaned, "I'm sorry for my brother. We'll promised to pay as soon we got the money. I promised. I'll even gave you our landlord contact info…"

"Here." Shen shoved the tray into Bolin's hands. "Free of charge."

"What? Really? Thank you!"

"Bolin!" Mako raised his voice and turned to Shen. "Ignore him. We'll pay but at least give us a few days."

"Okay, if you insisted on paying. Thank you. I put both of your names in this tab book. Mako and Bolin right? By the way, that's totaled up to 78 Yuan."

Mako glared at Bolin as his brother slowly walked away with the tray of food. "Thank you and I'm sorry for his antics. He's a nice guy and a great brother, it's just, he does things like that from time to time."

Shen waved his hands, "Nah. That's fine. My mother is pretty lenient on such things. She couldn't stand seeing people going hungry but thank you for being honest. Good luck on your qualifying match."

Shen waved Mako goodbye and prep himself for the next customer. Could those two considered as customers? They haven't paid yet, but they will eventually. This confused Shen non-stop.

A few people came and bought a few things. Shen treated them kindly and politely as possible until when he heard the Fire Ferrets were on. He excused himself and let his staff handled things as he went to the arena proper. There he saw Bolin and Mako and their waterbending teammates battled their opponents of the night.

The commentary from Shiro Shinobi boomed throughout the arena alongside the cheering crowd. "This Mako's got moxy! He advances, fires two quick shots. Yomo is hammered back to zone three! Clock in winding down, can Yomo hold hold? He's teetering on the edge of the ring now. The Fire Ferrets line up to strik…"

ZHING!

The mental flashes returned as Shen saw the same crow monster hovered above a woman with a small child just outside of the Pro-Bending Arena which lead to him ran outside in a hurry, passed his stall in the process.

"Shen? Shen! Where is that guy going?" Asked his restaurant staff.

The woman flailed her arms as she tried to get the monster to let her go. The monster had its hand on her throat and lifted her miles above the ground. She tried to avoid looking into the eyes of the blood-thirsty monster but she refused to look down as well.

"What do you want? Let me go! Please! I have a child!"

She began to cry and pleaded the best as she can to be let go. The monster looked at her and nodded.

"Let go?"

Shen ran to the location and looked around frantically. He arrived at the very location but no one was there.

"Momma!"

A little girl's voice broke the silent of the night as she cried for her mother. Shen ran towards her and try to calm her down.

"Hey there. What's wrong?"

"Save momma!" The little girl pointed her finger up into the night sky. Shen squinted his eye and saw what the child pointed at. "Good eyes. I'll save your momma. Wait here."

As the woman began to panic even more, the unknown began to get bored. It slowly loosen its grip before dropping the woman to her fate. She screamed as she fell and tried to use her waterbending to cushion her with surrounding water but with her adequate level of bending with the fear for her life, she failed to focus and getting closer and closer to her death.

"Help me! Someone!"

Shen ran and leaped with his full might and caught the woman in his arms. He landed on his back to shield the woman from the impact. He quickly released her and the little girl ran at them.

"Momma!"

"Kia!"

"Go! Get out of here!" Shen ushered the two and they did just that. The unknown was shocked to see the human thwarted his killing attempt.

Shen glared at the unknown that hovered above him. He crossed both of his hands at his left hip before pulled his right hand to the side. A small shimmered of light appeared and the Altering appeared on his waist. Once the Unknown saw it, it began to panic immediately dashed off into the distance.

"Hey wait!"

Shen tried to follow it but it flew away. He couldn't even feel its presence anymore but he knew that it would come back here.

'It must be attracted to the huge amount of benders in this place. I need to be more careful from now on.'

Shen met up with the woman and her child. As the child saw him, she ran and hugged his legs.

"Thank you mister."

"You're welcome. Are you alright ma'am?"

"Yeah. Thank you. That was terrifying. I can't even focus on my bending at all."

"You're safe now. I advise you to not come here until things settle down a bit."

"I understand, but what does it want from me? Did I do something wrong?"

"No. It's just its nature. I think."

"Lea! Kia!"

A man's voice called them. Shen saw the man ran towards his wife and kid. She told him what happened and the man pulled them into a hug and kisses. He looked at Shen with teary eyes.

"Wait. I know you." Shen voiced out. "You're Hasook of the Fire Ferrets. I just saw your match. You were amazing."

"Thank you for saving my wife and daughter. I don't know what I'll do if anything happened to them."

"Hey. I'm okay now." The woman named Lea told her husband.

Hasook kissed his wife forehead, "No. It's not okay. You almost died. Because I let you come to see my match."

"Hasook. I decided on my own to come here with Kia, remember? Sure, it was terrifying but don't regret coming. Come let's go home now and put this incident behind us. You still have another match tomorrow and the night after that right?"

"Yes."

"I'll be staying home tomorrow." She smiled and gave Shen a quick hug. "Thank you again for saving me. I'll never forget this."

The three returned home as the daughter waved wildly at her mother's savior. Shen returned the big wave and a smile. As the family disappeared into the crowds, Shen lowered his hand and clenched his fist hard.

'I get that one for sure.'

Shen was furious. He need to take it down but how? It could just fly away whenever he approached it. He need a plan. A way to get to it at a range.

'Come on Shen. Think! People lives are on the line! Think damn it!'

Shen thought long and hard before an idea popped into his head. He placed a hand on his left side of his waist and wondered.

'Should I used it? Am I ready? One way to find out. It's my best choice right now.'

He walked back to the arena to handle the stall for the rest of the night.

Afernoon of the next day, Detective Yaozun checked his breath, his hair and his uniform as he approached Air Temple Island. He got off the ferry and felt an overwhelming presence. Mostly due to it being the home of one of Republic City's Councilman and the only place in world resides the last group of Airbenders.

Yaozun slowly walked to the house's entrance and tried to be a bit more presentable. He sighed and pulled out his notebook and tried to dust off his uniform a bit more.

"Let me hold your book for you." A girl's voice came from beside him.

"Oh. Thank you." He handed her the book and dusted his uniform even more as the girl flipped through the notebook.

"You have funny handwriting."

"Excuse me?" He looked to the side and saw the girl beside him. Yaozun screamed in surprised and fell onto his behind. The girl giggled and helped him up. "Sorry for scaring you. I'm Ikki."

Yaozun took his book back and smiled at her. "Detective Yaozun. I'm here due to work and…"

"Ooh. A detective. Do you arrest bad guys? Do you go undercover? Do you love pastries like in those sappy love books that Jinora likes?"

"Ummm, no. Sorry kid. Anyway, I'm here due to work related. If it's not a bother, I would like to meet Avatar Korra. Please."

Ikki smiled at him before walked to the entrance.

"Korrra! A cute Detective looking for you!"

Yaozun flinched at the volume of the little girl as she screamed into the house. A loud crash could be heard and footsteps running to the door. Minutes later, Korra arrived in her Air Nomads robes with an angry expression.

"Ikki. What gives? You make me messed up my practice."

"Sorry Korra, but you got a secret admirer." Ikki pointed at the Detective.

"Oh. It's you. I'm sorry, who are you again?" Korra asked with a nervous smile.

"So, you want to discuss more about the spirits huh?"

They sat in the dining room with Korra facing the detective. They were served tea Korra rested her head on her hand.

"Yes. There was another killing yesterday."

"What? How? We killed it remember? Well, that Agito did but we helped." Korra slammed her fist on the table.

"Yes, but, it safe to say that there's more than one and it already began to make its move."

Korra groaned and rest her face on the table. "Just what we need. More problems. I got air bending training that I currently failing miserably at, an Anti-Bending Revolution on the horizon and now spirits or whatever showed up and out right murdering people. What this world turning into?"

"That's why we need your cooperation Avatar Korra. Together, we could put an end to these problems plaguing the city."

"Wait. We?"

"Um. The council and the police?"

Korra made a face of digust, "Pfft. The police? With that Chief of yours? No thanks. I don't need her looming all over me. I'm a one woman show."

"I know where this is coming from. Chief Beifong could sometimes be a difficult person to get through but she got the best interest of the city at heart."

"Whatever. Fine. I'll try. Oh, I have to wonder. Did you found out anything about the Agito? Who is he?"

"I was about to get to that. We haven't found out much, but our previous conclusion was right. He only appeared to fight the Unknown and never anywhere else. Just yesterday, he was spotted fighting one in a warehouse."

"Wow. So, he protects people huh? Cool." Korra unconsciously smiled at the statement.

"That's brings to me to my next offer."

"What is it?"

"I need you to get through him."

Korra spat out her tea. "What?"

Yaozun quickly swiped his notebook away. "What I meant is that, I need you to get him to talk. Find out his motivation or goals."

Korra wiped her mouth with her Air Nomads robes, "Me? Why me? Can't someone else do it? What I'm even supposed to say or ask?"

"I know this is a big task but I get the feeling that there's no better person to do it. You're the Avatar after all."

Korra pondered this offer and stood up. "I'm sorry. I don't have time right now. I need to get back to my training. Good day Detective Yaozun."

With that Korra walked away, leaving the Detective with a sense of failure. He thanked his host and walked back to the ferry. On the way there, he saw Korra practice Airbending with the instructions from three little children that he believed to be the children of the councilman.

He got onto the ferry and returned to the city in silence.

Shen walked around the arena perimeter and on the looked out for the flying Unknown. He doesn't even know it would showed up but he need to be constant vigilant at all times. He told his mother that he wanted a break that night and wanted to watch the pro-bending matches but it was all a ruse to be on guard here.

"Shen. We meet again." Bolin waved at him.

"Hey Bolin. Ready for your match?" Shen smiled back.

"Yup, Ready to kick some ass. Hey. I heard what happened. You saved Hasook's wife from those spirits yesterday huh? Dude that was something. You're a hero. I'm friends with a hero."

"Come on. Bolin. I was just there at the right time. Anyone would done the same." Shen brushed it off.

"Nonsense. People would hesitate to their very bones but you didn't. Anyway, I got to go. Big game tonight. Second to last match. Wish us luck." Bolin ran back to the arena.

"Good luck."

'Don't worry. I'll keep the arena safe.'

While Shen was on 'patrol', he missed a sneaky Avatar swimming in the water and propelled herself through and opened window. He never went inside and only popped in for a while to keep up the action so that his mother wouldn't be that suspicious if she ask how the match was.

He of course stayed for the match involving the Fire Ferrets but they aren't doing so well. Shen bite his nails as he witnessed what a train wrecked the Fire Ferrets were that night. He face palmed as he saw how badly Hasook getting battered by the enemy team.

Shen almost pulled his hair out when Hasook and Bolin were sent down into the water below. He put his figurative money on Mako to win for them. In his excitement, he failed to see the Avatar, who was in the Fire Ferrets waiting box.

Shen jumped for joy when Mako managed to get the victory by pulling a hat trick.

"Hasook probably still be worried about his wife. Those guys deserve some victory noodles either way. Oh shoot."

Shen ran back outside and scanned the area. He felt no Unknown presence in vicinity and finally let go of his breath. He almost botched his mission when he was too caught up with the match but gladly there's no attack that night.

"This is not over. I know you're out there."

Shen looked into the night sky and remained constant vigilant.

The next day moved very fast for Shen as he readied himself for the night. He managed to get another night off with the excuse he wanted to meet the Fire Ferrets to celebrate no matter what the result might be. Talah was so happy Shen managed to make friends that she didn't even question it. She gladly gave Shen a night off again.

It wasn't an entire lie, he did want to meet the Fire Ferrets afterwards. He just did not plan how yet. He bought some snacks and leaned against the railings outside of the arena, getting on with his first part of the mission.

The night was quiet as usual with people flocking the arena. He was about to get his game face on when the last person wanted to see greeted him.

"Shen sweetie over here."

Shen snapped towards his mother that rushing towards him. She was wearing a heavy coat to protect her from the cold.

"Mother. What are you doing here?"

"To see the Pro-Bending match of course, and to meet these Fire Ferrets you had been talking about earlier. Don't worry about the restaurant, your father had it covered."

Shen was in a spot that he couldn't do anything. The next thing he knew, he was pulled by the hand by his mother. They stopped by their stall to buy a few more snacks before weaved into the arena. Shen tried to find opportunity to slip away but Talah kept making conversations and held his hand tight.

"Mother. Why you even came here? You never like Pro-Bending before."

"Well, I believe that it was already due for a second impression. I shouldn't knock it off before experiencing it with my own eyes, the best way to experience Pro-Bending. Peanuts?"

Shen accepted and put some into his mouth.

The first few matches were average in performances. Talah began to get into the matches and easily understand the rules. She managed to keep up with even veteran's fans of the sport. Shen tried to keep and an ear and eye opened for any attacks.

He not quite looking forward to it but he must rely on the visions more than ever. If the vision does kick off, he hope he wasn't too late.

"Shen. Did you see that? How he shoot fire from his feet and flipped in the air?"

"Yes mother. It was something."

The next match called was the one Shen was waiting for, the Fire Ferrets would take the stage in fifteen minutes. A tap on his shoulder caused him to turn, a man tipped his hat and revealed his face.

"Hasook? What are you doing here? You should be with your team."

"Look. I'm sorry. I can't compete tonight. Lea, despite saying she's fine, continue to have a nightmares about it. I can't stand to see her like that. We're leaving the city for the Northern Water Tribe, her birthplace."

"What about the match?"

"I need you to tell my team. They going to hate me but I can't continue. I need to get her away from the city. I'm sorry."

"Go. Take care of your family. I'll see to it they get the message."

Talah gave her son the nod and he shook Hasook's hand goodbye. He ran to the waiting room to tell older man's team. Once he arrived, he was surprised to see Korra there.

"Avatar Korra?"

"Shen? What are you doing here?" Korra was surprised to see him as well.

"You know Shen?" Bolin asked as stood up from where he sat down.

"Yeah. I met him on my first day in the city."

"What are you doing here?" Mako asked.

"I came to tell you something. Hasook couldn't compete."

"What? We need him for the match." Mako went on full berserk and grabbed Shen's shirt.

"Woah there Mako." Bolin pulled his brother back. "Don't hurt the messenger. Did he say why?"

"You know how his wife almost got killed. She got multiple nightmares since then and Hasook make a last minute decision to get her and their child out of the city. Thinking, it might help get rid of the nightmares."

Mako went back to lean against the wall with his arms crossed. "You got to be kidding me, but I understand. Well, there goes our shots at the tournaments and the winnings."

The doors opened and one of the officials peeked in. "You got two minutes to get ready to come out and play or you're disqualified."

"Wow. I'm sorry for being the bearer of bad news." Shen apologized.

Mako shook his head, "No need to apologize. It was nice of you to bring us the news. We should wish him all the best."

"Can't you ask one of those guys to fill in?" Korra pointed at one of the members of another team.

"No can do. The rules says you need to be only on one team to compete." Bolin said sadly.

Then Shen got a stroke of brilliance "Hey. Why not Korra join your team? She could Waterbend. She's the Avatar after all."

"Shen's right! I could be on your team. I'm a top notch Waterbender."

Make glared at the two. "Nah ah. No way. I rather forfeit than making a fool out of myself."

"Geez. Thanks for the stroke of confidence." Korra slumped her shoulders. "Come on guys. I could do this."

Shen stepped up to the two brothers. "Come on. Would you rather walk away now and ceased any opportunity OR go out there and still have at least a chance at winning?"

"See? Shen's gets it." Korra was relieved he was on her side. Korra ran to the locker and opened it to get the Fire Ferret's uniform. "You guys will thanked me later."

"Fine. Let's get this over with." Mako and Bolin strapped on their helmets.

"Good luck you three." Shen cheered. "After this, no matter what the outcome, a celebratory meal on me."

"We'll be looking forward to it." Bolin replied as he and his team get on the ramp.

Shen returned to his seat besides his mother. The older woman pushed a strand of her long black hair behind her ear as she saw her son's return.

"How was it dear? Will they be able to play?"

"Oh. They will be playing alright."

The moment the starting bell sounded, the Fire Ferrets' Waterbender just water-whipped a member of the opponent team off the platform by the side and over the rope, which left everyone in the arena a moment of silent.

Talah turned to her son, "Is that even allowed?"

Shen face-palmed himself so hard it hurts his face, "No mother. That wasn't allowed at all."

The match continue with match being almost balance but the opponent clearly aimed for the new player over and over, with the other two tried their best to defend. It all went well until….

"Wait a minute folks. Did that Waterbender just Earthbend? Please standby until we got the confirmation from the judges." Shiro Shinobi told the spectators.

"Wait a minute…" Talah tried to put the pieces together.

"I can't believe this folks. She's the Avatar. Playing in a Pro-Bending Match. Can you believe that?"

"What!? Shen! The Ava…Ava…Avatar!" Talah grabbed Shen's collar and pointed heretically at then platform. "But how? Is that even allowed?"

"The Avatar will be allowed to continue as long she only Waterbend." The referee clarified, as both team showed different expression.

Shen shrugged his shoulder as he took a bite off his beef jerky. "Well, that's that. She still need to learn how to least rely on one element, even outside of Pro-Bending."

"What do you mean Shen? Shouldn't she used all that she could? She's the Avatar after all."

"Yeah that. But, from what I see it. She's lack of discipline. She too focus on overpowering her opponents instead of using her opponents' weakness to her advantage. There's nothing wrong with the former but options are always good."

'I wish I could take my own advice.'

"Wow. Look at you. Since when you're a bender expert?" Talah teased him.

"Not an expert mother. Just experience."

"What's that?"

"Nothing."

ZHING!

The flash of images return as the Crow Unknown hovered above the arena, just like Shen's prediction. He stood up to go and face the threat. "Excuse me mother. I need to go the washroom."

"Okay. Don't take long. The match just getting exciting." Talah said as she look at her son exiting the arena, through the wrong door. The washroom was on the other side. Why Shen excited through the main door? Something's not right and Talah knows it. She followed him.

She arrived outside and saw Shen ran through the crowds towards outside of the arena.

"Shen? Shen! Where are you going?"

Shen did not hear his mother's calling and ran to the location in his vision. He saw a few people there and he did what he have to do to keep them safe.

"Everyone! Leave the area! This place is dangerous!"

The people looked at him funny but Shen don't have time to be playing around.

"Now!"

They began to scramble away after Shen's outburst. He looked up into the sky and saw nothing. How he envied that kid's sharp eyesight. Suddenly, he felt weird. The atmosphere was too calm. Did his vision failed to work properly? Did the monster already killed someone?

"Shen! Get down!"

Talah shoved Shen to the ground as the Unknown dived towards them from the air, knocking Talah towards the railings and hit her head with a loud metal clang.

"Mother!" Shen glared at the Unknown that currently maneuvered back towards them. It went for another flyby but Shen lifted his foot and hit it right in the stomach as it flew above him. The Unknown crashed and clutched its stomach in pain.

Shen ran to his mother. "Mother. You alright?"

"I'm fine. How about you? Run, get help. Leave me here."

"No. I'm going to stop it."

"What? How? Don't do anything foolish."

"I'm not. Just watch me."

Shen faced the Unknown and crossed his hand on his left hip before pulling his right arm to the side. A shimmering sound and a flash of light manifested the belt on Shen's waist. Talah was surprised at the display and couldn't believe her eyes.

The Crow Unknown tried to escape but the initial hit was enough to keep it from flying away for the time being. Shen put his right forward as the shimmering sound continue.

"Henshin!"

He lifted both of his hands and pressed the two sides of his belt. A bright white light engulfed him and after it died down, there stood Agito in its full glory.

"Hen…shin?" Talah tried to make sense of the strange word but she was too busy battling the pain she gotten from the blow. She stood up and walked along the railings to a better spot.

The Crow Unknown let out a cry before rushing towards Agito. The warrior blocked and deliver a solid blow to the body. It staggered a bit and a swift roundhouse kick landed on its face. This send it towards the railings and Agito took the chance to trap it there and continue to hit it non-stop.

The unknown used its immense strength and threw Agito over its head and into the water. Talah screamed but Agito grabbed onto the railings. It went for an attack but Agito used his upper body strength and lifted himself over the railings and kicked it in the chest.

It saw the warrior climbed up and went to a side kick but it jumped up into the air to avoid it. Thinking it could win by keeping a safe distance, it dived and landed a clean strike on its enemy. It continue a few times until Agito was on his last legs.

"Shen!" Talah cried out and saw the monster turned around for another round. "Watch out!"

Shen saw the incoming and stood up immediately, he calmed himself down and hit the left side of his belt. A flash of blue light manifested on it alongside a shimmering sound and a distortion occurred on Agito's torso. The yellow part had turned into blue and the silver shoulder guard was gone and replaced with a golden shoulder pad. The center of the belt had turned blue as well.

Agito put his hand in front of the belt and pulled out a short pole-like weapon. As the unknown came closer, the staff extended and unfold itself into the Storm Halberd. The Unknown saw it and quickly maneuvered out of the way.

"Don't think you can run."

Agito swung the halberd and a strong gale of wind hit the its face and send it twirling around in the air. Before it could back get it bearings, another strong force came from behind. It began to get dizzy and paniced. Agito focus on it for a strike but it spun around and created a small tornado around itself and aimed right towards him. The mystic warrior tried to block it out but it proven too difficult and he was lifted into the air.

"Shen!" Talah shouted as she saw her son was taken into the air.

The Unknown lifted Agito higher and higher and make a sharp turn downwards, towards the arena itself.

Inside, The Fire Ferrets was just finished their match and walked off the ramp into their waiting room.

"Let's go find Shen. He promised a celebratory meal." Mako suggested.

"Cool. I could eat." Korra smiled. "Bolin?"

Bolin lifted his finger to his lips, "Do you guys hear that?"

As soon Bolin said that, the roof of the arena was destroyed as the Unknown and Agito burst right through it and crashed onto the Pro-Bending platform.

"What in four nation is going on here?" Shiro Shinobi asked through the microphone. The dust and debris cleared and the Crow Unknown stood over Agito Storm that was motionless and imbedded right into the platform. It sneered and summoned a sword from a ring of light above its head.

The spectators screamed and ran outside of the arena. As they exited, a group police lead by Detective Yaozun sprinted inside. He looked over to the platform and eyes widen to see Agito's state.

"I can't believe what I'm witnessing here folks. It's one of those evil spirits and the fully armored fighter from the news, duking it out right in this very arena. It towered over the motionless fighter and summoned a sword. It seems it might deliver the final strike of the night. I cannot watch."

"It's those things again and Agito!" Korra ran towards the platform and use Firebending to propel her towards the platform. Once on it, she Earthbend as many earth disc she could and hit the Unknown in rapid succession. It staggered towards the edge of the platform and Korra blasted it with fire right into the wall.

"Just when I thought it's over, the Avatar came in and safe the day folks. I can resume to watch now."

Korra crouched down towards Agito and knocked on his helmet.

"Hello? Anyone still alive in there? Don't tell me you're dead already. Just when I need to talk to you."

"Korra! Watch out!" Mako called out to her and she saw the Unknown plucked its feathers and threw it her. Agito sprang to life and shielded her from the projectiles. He swung the halberd and a gust of wind blew the feathers away and imbedded itself right into the walls.

Korra was dumbfounded, "Did you just…?"

Yaozun was surprised at the display as well, "Did he just….?"

"…Airbend?" Tenzin's voice came right beside him. Yaozun saw the surprised look on the Councilman's face as Agito display a strong and almost flawless Airbending ability.

"Councilman?"

"How did he just Airbend?" Tenzin blinked as he could not believe his eyes.

"It's a miracle folks. The fighter just got up and defended the Avatar. To make things interesting, he just Airbend."

"Glad to see you still alive. Ready to kick some butt?"

Agito smiled from under his armor and nodded. They both stood up a ready to face the threat. The Unknown knew it was outnumbered with Agito and all the benders present, it tried to escape.

"Don't let it get away!" Yaozun shouted as he and every bender shot their respective elements at it. Agito swung its halberd and wall of wind blocked the hole on the ceiling. It came to a halt but before it could turned around, it was mercilessly attacked by multiple sides by all four elements. It came crashing down back onto the platform and Agito came running.

Multiple slashes connected onto its body. Every counterattack from the monster was either easily evaded or blocked by Agito.

"This is something else folks. What I'm witnessing right now is the battle for the safety of everyone from the evil spirit. The armored warrior did not give it any room to counterattack."

Agito swung his halberd upwards and send the monster flying into the air with the help of the power of the wind and right through the hole in the ceiling.

"Cool." Korra let out a small admiration.

Agito focus on the power of the wind and the his horn split open, unleashing his full power. Without wasting time, launched himself upwards. He readied his weapons and deliver a deadly slash at the Unknown as soon they exited the arena. It exploded as Agito landed on the roof.

The first view he saw was the view of the city, Republic City. The city he love and promised to protect. He was about to leave when a voice called out to him.

"Hey wait."

He turned to see Korra came out of the hole using her waterbending. She stood on the other side of the hole, with it being the only thing separated the two.

"I want to talk. No, we have to talk. I know you want to as well. I know that you're not an enemy. How I know? I felt it. Your presence, felt familiar. It must means something because I'm terrible at sensing spiritual stuff. Almost none in fact. Do you trust me? Because I want to trust you."

She sound serious and Agito knew keeping secrets not going to help anyone. They're both here for the same reason, to protect this city. If he want that, he need to come clean with her that he is not a threat, but a friend.

The next thing Korra knew, a bright light emitted from his belt and engulfed him in it.

TO BE CONTINUE…

Was that a bad cliffhanger? I'm sorry. I think it's a good place to end it. Thank you so much for the reviews, favorite and follow. I could not believe that many of you enjoyed it. This crossover fandom had been slow but I'll do my best to deliver a great story.

For starters, I could not wait to introduce the rest of Agito's riders. They won't appeared all at once in one book. In this one, only Agito and another one will appear. Pretty sure you guys could guess who that is. I already planned on how the other riders would be introduce, now just have to wait until the plot arrives.

I'll be starting my new semester at my university in a week and the posting of new chapters might slow down. It largely depend on my work load or my willingness to procrastinate my assignments. We'll see. Please favorite, follow and leave a comment if you enjoy this chapter.

Stay safe and healthy everyone and I'll see you all wonderful readers next time.
