Hey Yo! I am NerdRyuu and here is the 19th chapter of The Last Loud!

Last chapter Lincoln went to confront the convuy that kidnapped his sisters, and unfortunately Luan had to sacrifice herself.

If you like the fic, and want news for my upcoming projects, check my twitter @ryuu_baku. I have a upcoming fic based on Amphibia and I'll be posting news there.

I didn't received any questions this week, so let's straight to the chapter.

DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own The Loud House.

I was blown back by the gale force of the explosion, I hit the dry dirt with on my back. Immediately I got back to my feet, got my helmet off and tried to run to jeep that was ablaze, but two forces pulled me back, I looked back, It were Lori and Leni, they had tears on their eyes, but were pulling my arms.

"Let go of me!" I said pulling harder. "She needs help! I need to help her! I need so save her!" I screamed as tear started to run down my cheeks.

"Lincoln." Lori said gloomy.

"Let go!" I shouted again.

"Linkie…" Leni spoke.

"Please…" I muttered.

"Lincoln. Luan died." I pulled with all the strength I had when Lori spoke that, I made some steps on the direction of the jeep.

And fell to my knees.

The inferno in front of my eyes was unbelievable. I couldn't believe. The fire danced like a ballet, a beautiful dance of death.

Streams of tears started to flow from my eyes, the realization, no, the acceptance of the fact, flooded my heart, making it heavy and beat so hard that made my chest hurt.

I fell forward, using my hands to hold me while I cried. I didn't care how I would look, I just cried, cried like a kid that had fallen off the swing.

Luan was dead. Another sister had died for my fault. I needed to save her. I had to. I have failed. Again.

Then a agonizing scream made me jump back my feet, and look back to where the scream was coming from. It was the jeep we were going to use to escape. Lori and Leni had already were running there. Then I realized.

Luna. I ran to the jeep, and I saw her, on the back of the jeep, curling around, with her hands holding her belly. She had a agonizing expression, blood was drizzling from her legs and dirtying the floor.

My mind couldn't process quick enough as Lori spoke. "They stomped Luna in the stomach, this forced her I to labor." She said concerned. I had frozen, hyperventilating, this was too much.

My mind didn't processed Luna's death yet and then this. I stepped back and just looked down at the ground, spotting my helmet in the ground, and walked up to it.

I grabbed it and stared the helmet. Trying, trying to process everything.

What looked like hours passed when I felt a hand in my shoulder, snapping me from my trance.

"Lori?" I said. "How's the baby?" I was apprehensive, she had a somber look, but I couldn't decide on the reason, so much bad things had happened in such a short time span. Lori took a deep breath and said.

"We lost the baby."

What I had left of my heart shattered when she said that. On the past seven to eight months, I had grown to the idea to be a father. I was happy with Luna, we promised to ourselves to be the best parents we could be to our child.

But that went ablaze, just like Luan.

That was being among the worst days of my life, up there with the day Lynn died.

I looked to the jeep. Luna was crying, gently hugging something. I approached and my heart beat painfully, it was our deceased child, dead in the arms of her mother.

"Lun… a…" I said slowly, my sister didn't looked up, she kept crying, looking at the baby.

I crawled inside the jeep and embraced Luna, she started crying harder.

"It's…" She said between sobs. "A girl…" I gently put my hand on the tiny head of our daughter.

"Lyra…" It was the name we decided to give to our child if they were a girl… She… didn't even had the opportunity to live.

"Let's go home." Lori said somberly. "We need Lisa to patch us up." She said, holding her bleeding arm, where she got shot.

"Lori, you aren't in condition of driving." Leni said. "Let me do it!" I, Lori and Luna shared looks.

Lori sighed and nodded. "I think Lincoln should drive." She said, Leni looked disappointed.

We entered the jeep and left the burning convoy behind. It pained me to let Luan there… but we could do nothing. I drove in silence, nobody spoke nothing, the twins were hugging Luna, who was still holding our daughter, Leni and Lori were also on the back with them.

When we arrived the bunker I saw immediately that something was wrong.

"So, this is everything we have here in the RV." Link, The Tinkerer said putting a last wrench on the cloth sheet they had put down to things they were willing to trade. Everything was neatly put down, Link had the effort to put each single cog, bolt, wrench and lightbulb very carefully and in order.

"And this is what we have!" Cassie said opening Ripley's small trailer, revealing pretty much everything they had gathered in the past months.

"Oh, if you excuse me!" Link said, rubbing hands with a look of kid on a toy aisle. "Let me see…" He said, looking carefully all the items the trio had.

"So, let's see what you have." Maria said looking through the careful placed objects, parts, and even a old adult magazine, one that Maria forbid Cassie to even look at it.

"Oh, what's this?" Cassie said picking something she didn't ever saw before.

"It's a motherboard." Link spoke without even looking back at her. "It's one of the most important parts of a computer. I salvaged it from a PC we found on the ruins of a office building. It was in a good state, so I took for safe keeping."

"Would we need that?" Maria asked to Loud, who also was looking at the items Link had put down.

"No. We're not building a gaming PC." Loud said. Those words made Link hop a little, he turned to Loud and spoke.

"Oh, no, non, não, nei, nein! Loud, you are thinking too small my Friend!" He said pointing to his own temple.

"Oh, here we go again." Himiko said rolling her eyes.

"Although the intended function of this motherboard being for a PC, one can change it for better! This is raw material for endless possibilities of innovation! You just need to think, outside the box!" Link grabbed the motherboard from Cassie, he smiled at the piece of hardware.

"O… Kay…" Cassie said with a raised eyebrow, she looked at the twins, who shrugged to her. Loud looked back at the items Link had put down for them, and something caught their attention.

"This." Loud said picking the item. "Is a Geiger counter..?" They more stated than asked. Lincoln took his eyes off the motherboard and looked at the item Loud was holding.

"Oh, it is!" He walked up to Loud. "We don't quite need it anymore, uh… we already overcame the need."

"Overcame?" Loud repeated.

"Yeah, back in the base we-" Link covered his own mouth before he could speak more.

"Base?" Cassie and Maria spoke at the same time.

"Way to go Tesla." Haro spoke putting her hand on her hip. "Why don't you just tell them the location of our base right away?"

"Hey, I didn't tell them that it's on Hoover Da-" He covered his mouth again.

"Oh, for God's sake." Haro spoke pinching the bridge of her nose.

N/A: So yeah... As I said, this started to go down in the past arc, Luan died and Luna and Lincoln lost the baby, and I reafirm, things still are going to worsen.

The future arc is a change of pace for the past, a lot more lighter, with lots of jokes and lighter mood in general.

I decided to call the tinkerer Link to not confuse the reader, seeing that he has the same name as Lincoln. Oh, he spoke no in french, portuguese, italian and german in this order.

If you want to as something or have something to say, feel free to ask, I'll try to respond everyone in the next chapter.

until next chapter, be good,

Bye.
