Hey Yo, NerdRyuu here for the special 20th chapter of The Last Loud!
Last chapter, Lincoln realized that Luan died, also he and Luna lost the baby.
Let's go to the questions of this week.
Dimitri Gomez: Do we passed the walfway of the past arc or we are still in the beginning?
We're actually a little more than the halfway point, in both arcs actually. but it helps better if you tally up who many Louds are down.
DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own The Loud House
WARNING: THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS SCENES THAT MAY BE UPSETTING FOR SOME PEOPLE, CONTNUE WITH CAUTION
"That's why we don't tell you secrets Link-cable." Himiko said frowning.
"Yeah, you're horrible in keeping them." Haro completed. Tower shaked his head in disapproval.
"Sorry." Lincoln spoke embarrassed. "But you know how I am."
"Yeah, you're a chatterbox." Himiko spoke.
"Hello, we're still here." Maria spoke up.
"We won't tell anyone about your base." Cassie said. "We promise."
"Yeah, as if we trust you." Haro said. Loud looked her body language. She was tense, and she had her hand on her katana. They looked at Himiko and Tower. They also had their hands on their weapons.
"If you plan to shoot us down while we don't look, I recommend you to do it now." Loud said, putting their hand on their hip, to their shotgun. "We don't want trouble with you."
"We can't trust you to keep the location of our base." Himiko said.
"So, what do we do to make you trust you?" Cassie said. She and her mother also had put their hands on their hips, ready to grab their weapons. The twins shared a look, then looked at Tower, and back to the trio.
"We want your help on a little thing." Himiko spoke.
"What little thing." Maria spoke, still with her hands ready to grab her guns.
"We want your help to kill the Slavers that infiltrated our base." Haro spoke.
"Slavers? On your base? That's why you were following us?" Cassie asked. Himiko nodded.
"We were making one of our recognizance travels when I receive a notification of intruders on the Hoover Dam. Looking through the cameras, we recognized the intruders as Slavers." She explained.
"They're too many for just the four of us." Haro completed. "Enemies of our enemies are our allies, if you help us get rid of the intruders, you'll prove that you are trust worthy."
"Huh, and what will you do to prove you are trust worthy?" Maria spoke crossing her arms.
"Letting you stay on our base." Himiko spoke, mimicking Maria and crossing her arms.
The two groups remained in silence. Loud remained in silence, Cassie and Maria looked at them.
"What do you say Loud?" Maria spoke. Loud stood in silence, immobile, they didn't even looked they were a living being.
"Is they good?" Link asked confused and a little concerned. Cassie made snort then a laugh.
"Sometimes they do that, they freeze in place like a statue. Me and mom think they are thinking.
"Are you sure? I even can't see they breath." Haro spoke, scratching her head.
"It's kinda creepy." Himiko completed.
"We'll do it." Loud spoke finally, scaring everyone save from Tower.
"Serious Loud? Do you think we can trust them to trust us to trust them?" Asked Cassie.
"I want another excuse to kill Slavers." Loud said simply.
The broken up hatch made my heart restart to pump harder, I looked around, the marks of tires on the dirt told me that a jeep like the one we used to get here said that the same men that kidnapped Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lana and Lola have been here, I jumped off the jeep and run up to the hatch, the others followed suit.
"Something's wrong." I spoke jumping down, without even bothering to climb the latter down.
"Lucy! Lisa! Lily!" I called them as I opened the main door. The main room was a mess, chairs on the ground, books that once were put nicely on the shelves had been thrown away to the floor. Broken glass, pots… and blood.
I followed the trace of blood back to their origin. I saw, behind the sofa that was tumbled over, a hand.
I felt cold and ran to see. It was Lisa, she had a horrified look on her face, her glass was broken, she had a small train of blood on the corner of her mouth… And a slashed open throat.
"Oh my god… Help! Here! Get help!" I shouted as the others entered the room, they gasped in horror when they saw Lisa.
"Lisa!" I cried. "Please, wake up… Lisa…" I started to cry, hugging her. "Please…"
"W-where are Lucy and Lily?" Lori spoke with dread in her voice. "Lucy! Lily!"
I gently put Lisa down and got back to my feet and crossed the door for the main corridor. There was a trail of blood going down the corridor and entering one of the rooms. I ran there and rammed my way into the room, it was Lori and Leni's room, it also was completely destroyed and...
I saw Lucy, she had her back onto the bed's side… Her entire chest and torso were… missing. I could see straight to her ribs, and behind it, her heart, that didn't beat anymore. She had several of her organs sprained and disemboweled.
I felt nothing but cold. Then I felt on my stomach, growing...
Coming into my throat and I turned away and vomited. The others caught up to me and I heard Leni and Lola scream, while I could hear Lana also vomiting.
I was in shock. I looked Lucy and couldn't believe what was happening.
"Lucy…" Lori spoke approaching. "Look in her hand…" I looked there, near it laid a kitchen knife. "She tried to defend herself…"
"Where's Lily…" I said with my breathing getting heavier. I slowly looked at the closet door.
The ajar door emanated a menacing aura, like if there was a monster observed us from the dark inside the closet that it covered.
I walked there, each step made my feet heavier, like if my own body didn't wanted to see what had behind the door.
I grabbed it, and swallowed dryly. Part of me didn't wanted to see what had inside the closet. But I had. I had to see it. I had to see it to believe it.
I made a deep breath, and slide the door open.
And what I didn't wanted to see I saw.
And in the worst possible way.
Lily.
Dead.
And the way they had killed her was so horrible that the mere though of someone doing it to someone made me nauseous, even the worst fatality from a Mortal Kombat game could be so brutal or merciless… Because it was real.
They had decapitated her, and had split open her torso by the middle, she was sitting, with her head on her lap, her arms limp, with the skin of her arms peeled, revealing the blood and flesh of her little arms.
I stared at the grotesque sight.
Three of my sisters got murdered.
Three of my sisters got brutalized.
Lisa. Lucy.
Lily.
Did they pleaded for mercy?
Did they cried as they were being murdered?
Did they were alive when they got inhumanely eviscerated?
I didn't knew what to feel. Anger, sadness, disgust, fear, and the worst, guilt.
It was my fault.
I let them alone without any means of defending themselves.
All.
My.
Fault.
I turned around and passed the girls when I exited the room.
"Lincoln… where are you going?" Luna asked, with a hint of concern on her voice.
"Repay." I said simply. I exited the bunker and followed the tire tracks they left behind.
N/A: I... don't like to describe gore, specially when it is on characters I like, but I had to do it to set the picture and put the reader in the shoes of the characters seeing those things. I have experienced personally a very gore scene before, and I can't begin to describe how different is when it's real. nothing I write down can emulate that feeling, but I wanted to paint down the picture of said feeling. that's why their deaths are so shocking.
Originally, the slaughter was bigger, with more sisters dead, like Leni, Lola and even Luna, but I decided that the shick would be big as is, so I cut them from this
And if it didn't got clear, more or less what happened is: someone invaded the bunker, killed Lisa in the main room, while Lucy and Lily run to hide, Lucy had a knife for protection, but they found Lucy. She tried to protect Lily but got killed. And Lily, who hid on the closet, got killed there.
And also.
It's Five Louds down.
I won't ask anything this time, just know that if you have experienced a traumatic event, it's no shame to seek help okay?
if you want to ask anything, I'll do my best to anwser everyone.
Till next time, be good.
Bye.
