Hey Yo. NerdRyuu is back and I'll go straight to the point before I start things.
I lost my job, my depression got onto me, and I actually tried to end myself. I'm just uploading this chapter here today because I know that almost none of my readers go to my Twitter for updates, and I don't want to keep you in the dark, so, next week, I'LL BE NOT POSTING the next chapter. I'll give myself a week off to clear my mind and better myself. but in the other week, I'll be back okay? I really need some time off.
Last Chapter a Massacre happened, and Lucy, Lisa and Lily got killed.
I received just one question this week.
PLC The CD: The last member of the Loud family is Lincoln?
I think I already answered this question before, but I promised answering everyone, so, the identity of The Last Loud is either Lori, Leni, Luna, Lincoln, Lana or Lola. I hope this clears things ;)
So, let's go to the chapter!
I walked for miles. The sun got set and still kept walking. Following the trails of the jeep. Until I saw in the distance, a campsite with he jeep, and 3 men sitting around a bonfire they set to warm them from the wasteland's cold night.
I approached the campsite. Those men where wearing the same leather armor that the men that kidnapped my sisters wore. Undoubtedly it was them.
It took a long time to the men see me approaching, I practically was already on the campsite when they finally saw me.
"Hey, who are you?" One man asked grabbing a knife and pointing to me. The men got up. I slowly looked at each one of them.
"Did they cried?" I asked coldly, I was wearing the armor, and had activated the voice modulator, so my voice came distorted by still understandable.
The men looked each other. I took the opportunity and grabbed the men's wrist, twisting it and making he drop the knife, I grabbed it in the air and slashed his neck with so force that I practically decapitated him.
He fell back, gushing blood in my armor.
"Shit!" the second man said picking the gun that was on his holster. I acted fast and slashed his arm, cutting it vertically from his fingers to the elbow, I then slashed him in the mouth, cutting both his cheeks. I grabbed his jaw that started to hang freely and pulled down, ripping it away.
The second man fell and the third men started running in the direction of a rifle they had laying on the trunk of the jeep, I threw the knife, the man gasped in pain as the knife hit him on the back. He fell forward.
I slowly approached him, he started to crawl away, trying to run away. He was desperate. I could see from his heavy breathing and erratic movements.
Although slowly, I caught him and stepped on the knife, driving it deeper in his back, making him shout in pain.
"Tell me." I said as I violently removed the knife, making him shout again, I kicked him to turn onto his back. "Did they cried?"
"I-I don't know what you're t-talking!" the man stuttered in panic.
"Those three girls!" I shouted with rage, making him recoil. "Did they cried when you massacres her?" The man cried in pain. "ANSWER ME!" I screamed getting very close to his face. He made a slow nod.
My heart filled with more fury. Now. Now I wanted to make him suffer.
"Please…" He asked crying. "Have mercy."
"Mercy." I repeated incredulously. "Do you offered mercy for them? Did they asked for mercy?" The man said nothing, I got angry. "I SAID TO ANSWER ME!"
"Yes, yes they did!" He spoke finally.
"Then… Why should I have mercy?" I said, putting my foot on his face, forcing him down.
" Now, let me see… What's the worst way I can kill…?"
The seven people stopped their transports in the other side of a hill so they wouldn't be seen by the men on the building adjacent to the Hoover Dam.
They crawled up the hill to get a good view to the magnificent man-made dam.
Loud and Himiko used binoculars to get a closer view.
"Two men guarding on the roof, one at the main door." Himiko said. "How many inside?" She said to Link, who had his special goggles back.
"20" He said.
"20…" Maria repeated. "That's a lot."
"I hope you have a good carpet cleaner." Cassie said. Maria, Tower and the twins looked at her confused. "Because when finish this, you'll need to clean the mess."
"Our hideout is in the underground levels of the dam." Link said. "We leave the surface still abandoned to not attract undesired company." He explained.
"But those men appeared when we were out." Haro spoke. Link nodded.
"They still didn't found the hidden door to the hideout. They're only on the main floor yet." Link continued, he had one hand on some buttons on the goggles. "It's a matter of time until they look for the stairs to the bottom levels." Link said. Tower grunted with a scowl.
"You're right Tower, if they discover your workshop is game over." Himiko spoke.
"Without continues." Haro completed.
"So… what's the plan?" Cassie said.
"First, take out the men on the roof. They're on guard, they'll shoot anyone who come close. The man guarding the main door is also easy work, but once we're inside, we'll have two options." Link spoke lifting two fingers.
"We go quiet and well planned" Haro spoke.
"Or we go loud and dumb." Himiko completed. Cassie smiled.
"Oh ho ho I know which one I prefer!" The young girl said with a devilish grin.
"We can take the two options." Maria spoke, grabbing the attention of the twins and Link.
"We can split into three groups. One will go for the main entrance and serve as distraction. The second will sneak inside and assist the first on the kills." Maria explained her plan.
"And the third?" Link asked.
"The third you stay here to catch anyone who tries to escape." Maria ended her explanation.
"It's a good sounding plan." Haro spoke.
"Agreed. I vote for doing this." Link spoke. "Himiko, I think it's your cue."
"Way ahead of you." Himiko spoke, with her rifle already in hands. She laid with her belly on the ground and adjusted the rifle, with an eye on the crosshair.
Seconds passed in silence, no one wanted to interfere with her concentration. Then, with a silent recoil, the first man on the roof fell, and seconds later, before even realizing his friend was down, the second man also fell.
When the man guarding the main entrance fell from the third shot of Himiko, Loud, Tower and Maria ran towards it, with already their weapons ready.
The three barged in, Loud strode in front of them, with their shotgun in one hand and their pistol in the other.
It didn't took long at all to the shooting start, the Slavers centered their fire on Loud, who, due it's bullet proof armor just shrugged the fire with little recoil. Maria and Tower took cover behind two pillars in each side of the entrance of the main hall, Loud stood there in the middle shooting.
Although the severe numerical disadvantage, the three mowed down anyone in sight, and as more Slavers appeared, more of them fell, and even more started falling when the other three, who had used the distraction to enter the hall and sneakily kill every Slaver they got the drop off.
Cassie used her knife expertly, Haro, with her katana sliced off the Slavers body like butter, and Link used his metal gauntlets and enhanced strength by his exosuit to crush heads and snap necks.
The men didn't even realized the two groups until the few last ones were surrounded.
"Should we keep one of these Slavers alive?" Link said, rushing up to one of the men and punching him in the face, knocking him down. "You know, for interrogation?"
"No." Haro said, slicing on the last man standing cutting him by the waist, finally ending the shooting.
"Did we miss someone?" Cassie asked Link, who looked around using the goggles.
"No. Haro, I think is best if you go get your sister, we finished here." Link spoke, then looked at the pieces of dead men. "This will be ass to clean."
N/A: Lincoln brutally killing the men who massacred his sisters was one of the imagery I want for the story since the beginning.
And the future trio, helped the quarted reclaiming the Hoover Dam.
I really apologize of I get the details of the dam wrong here, I'm not from the US and never saw the dam closely. I researched the dam so I didn't got thing horribly wrong, but I also changed some things so it could fit better for the story and universe
