AN: EXTREMELY SHORT CHAPTER. FOR NOW, I CAN ONLY WRITE THINGS THIS LONG. AND I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE FOR GRAMMAR MISTAKES AND ERRORS. THE TRUTH IS, I DO SUCK AT ENGLISH. AND THERE WILL BE MISTAKES. I'LL WORK EXTRA HARD FOR NEXT CHAPTER. AND SORRY FOR THE DELAY.

2 DAYS LATER

After the entertaining events of the sports festival of UA, nobody was expecting the sickening horrors the following days. The public only had so much information on the Greenflame attacks. Even so, they were aware of the fact that, mainly villains ever did fell into the death' trap and that pretty much it. Public however soon proven wrong when they witnessed a burnt melting corpse of a local hero nearby the bridge, which surprisingly not at all an isolated area. But still nobody see the onslaught and when they did, informed officials within following hour. The media later arrived and unfortunately for the police, a reporter questioned a rookie officer, who unknowingly confessed, 'this is clearly not the first time a hero' body found'. Shocked and enraged, public and reporters marched towards the police headquarters and demanded some believable explanation. News spread like wildfire and the government had no way of hiding things anymore. Public panic was the only reason the truth never left the headquarters. But now a rookie did a rookie mistake and the higher ups had to present an explanation. Like always, police did not spill more than necessary and also the officer who leaked the supposedly secretive information got fired the same evening.

Within matter of minutes, the higher ranking heroes forced to take a full time patrol in order to pinpoint or possibly capture this 'monster' who unfortunately wields the power of the destructive hellfire. Up until now, nobody except few heroes ever saw the vigilante. But nobody ever figured out the extent or the limits of his 'quirk'. Hell, nobody even knows the logic behind the fire quirk at all. Because, whenever they find another corpse of a villain, you can clearly see the melting body and the surrounding. However, the unexplainable thing is, nobody has a clue how or why the victims of the dead villains, are totally fine. No fire wound, burn mark, nothing. It's like the fire did not effected them at all.

Things are fastly getting out of hand. So many heroes are spending overtime on the lookouts and the number two hero is the leading one. However, endeavour refused to carry some loudmouths on his back and left on his own. He found various nice spots to hide and observe any movement from the target. But also, that's not his way of handling things. Endeavour is smart, strong, agile, durable and a perfect hero in a unique way. The only thing differentiating him with others is...his horrible behaviour. His ego and the effort to be a copy of Allmight, turned him into a monster. At least in other's eyes. In his eyes, he's right. Even though he's not.

He don't realise what's he's doing to his own family. Because he believes his decisions to be the best and that same belief keeping his brain occupied as he searched for Greenflame.

"Endeavour, I've lost sight of you. Where are you headed to?" Endeavour heard Mirko' angry voice. She probably the second leading hero of their group. While Endeavour gone, it's upto her to drag the local heroes with her around.

"Seperating. To cover more ground." Endeavour replies irritated. This is all a waste of time for him.

"You happily took the leadership back at meeting, and I expected more from you." Mirko hissed.

"I hate things weigh me down." He replied.

"Oh yeah, fire trash can? People weigh you down. I now found why you never be the number one." Mirko snapped and cut the call.

"Annoying." Endeavour grunts, taking a leap of to another big building. He pretty much left a whole trail of melting footprints along the way and he doesn't seem bothered by the slightest. Times like this, when leaving behind your tracks is the most stupidest mistake one could make. On top of that, Endeavour is not all loved by anyone, including villains. So there's a high chance of a villain coming after him. But still, Endeavour don't care. The notorious Greenflame is his main goal and Endeavour never did failed to achieve his goals. But here... things are different. Not everything works on your favour.

Minutes had passed, no lead whatsoever. Endeavour grunts annoyed and stands on top of a big building overlooking the city. The useless hours he spent for Greenflame frustrating him more than anything. It's unlike of him invested in one individual, and it surprised him at first too. Because, Allmight is the one person he ever paid attention too. Nobody ever interested him anyway other than Allmight and now a mysterious vigilante caught his eyes too. Probably the lingering mystery that interests him. Or it's all just a curiousity. Maybe after he catches this vigilante, his interest maybe will die down as well.

Endeavour, slowly ran his eyes all over the city down. Roads, narrow pathways between houses, alleyways and even some old buildings. He eyes every single one of them in hopes of getting a glimpse of a green glow. Still, no sign of what he's looking for. Well, at least that's what he thought.

Endeavour blew some air as he looks at the sky. With his right hand, he rubbed his face irritated. His unfocused eyes picked up random clouds. It's all in various shapes and sizes. One with huge imagination would see things that's not there. And even the number two hero has some imagination in his brain that keeps running as his fiery eyes make out the moving white cotton of sky.

But later what happened is beyond imagination. Nor did he imagined it happening. Endeavour' posture stiffened and eyes widened. He saw something between the clouds. It was quick and like blur...it vanished. For a split second he saw something green flash by and due to it flying higher than clouds, he did not saw what caused it. Whatever it was, Endeavour had this gut feeling, that keep saying it was following him around. Being followed...a feeling he always recognise.
