"How about under the coffee table?" Asked Ga Eul
"I don't think so," answered Yi Jeong "Maybe near the couch?"
"Here it is. I found it. How many is that?"
"That would be the 7th camera that Woo Bin has hid in here. I'm going to kill him. Anyway, I think you are good enough to start working on the wheel. Have you already gotten the air bubbles out?"
Ga Eul nodded.
"Now throw the ball of clay on the center of the wheel."
Ga Eul did as she was instructed but may have used too much force as the ball bounced of the wheel and landed on an air vent, bringing into attention the thing hidden inside it.
"Hey that's another camera. Here, let me get it. Bring that chair over here and hold onto it while I climb on. For god sake, I had told him to install cameras in the display area, where he hasn't set up any, by the way."
About 10 minutes later, they had successfully removed the clay and camera and had returned to their lesson. Only this time, Yi Jeong decided to demonstrate. He threw the ball of clay on the center of the wheel and began to cup and squeeze it into a tower shape. Ga Eul watched him intently. Watching Yi Jeong work was always a real treat. There was so much serenity in his face when he worked. He always seemed lost in his own little world, completely oblivious to his surroundings. Ga Eul was brought out of her musing by the ringing of her phone.
"Hello? Yeah I'm on my way." Hanging up the phone, she made her way towards the door.
"I'm so late. I'm going to have to do his share of dishes again," she mumbled to herself.
"What happened?" asked Yi Jeong.
"I had to pick up my brother from school. I was supposed to leave 20 minutes ago."
"Come on, I'll give you a ride."
_oOo_
"And that was camera no. 8. I can't believe Yi Jeong. First he tells me to install the cameras, and then he gets rid of them. Granted he probably wanted them to be in the display area but he never specified," said Woo Bin as he monitored his friends on his phone.
"Why did you install 8?"
"I didn't want to miss a single angle," he said with a sheepish grin.
"Woo Bin, I should probably start looking for an apartment. I can't live here forever. But I don't know where to start."
"We could check the papers. I'll tell my men to look for apartments while we skim through these"
"I'm so used to my bodyguard Chen that it feels weird not having one anymore. Can I borrow one of yours? You seem to have a lot."
Woo Bin was wondering how to tell her that those bodyguards were actually mafia men sent by his father. He hadn't gotten around to telling her about his family history yet.
"I'll ask my dad. I can't make any promises though. They only answer to my father."
"Oooh, I like this house," said Jae Kyung while handing Woo Bin the apartment listings.
"5 bedroom apartment, overlooking a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and various other facilities," read Woo Bin.
"Let's hurry before someone beats us to it."
_oOo_
"Chin Hae, I'm sorry that I'm late."
"Noona, you bought a car? That comes with a driver!"
"No, No, No, Chin Hae that's my friend. And that's his car."
"Nice to meet you, Woo Bin hyung" said Ga Eul's brother while bowing to his sister's friend.
Yi Jeong had been faced with many awkward situations in his life. His recent encounter with the plant guy came to his mind. However, unlike that situation, he couldn't run in response to this one.
"No, this is Yi Jeong, where did you hear the name Woo Bin?"
"Amma and Appa were talking about him the day you left for that trip. They were saying how he's crazy and they don't want him to be their future son- in- law."
"Ga Eul, what's going on?" asked Yi Jeong.
"Noona, ice cream!" said Chin Hae dragging his sister towards an ice cream truck, leaving Yi Jeong with no choice but to follow. Without much ado, Chin Hae selected strawberry cheesecake for himself. Then, turning to the other boy he asked, "What flavor would you like, Yi Jeong hyung?"
Yi Jeong began to admire all the different flavors with interest. It had been so long since he had eaten ice cream.
"I think I'll have strawberry cheesecake as well. But wait, chocolate chip cookie dough looks delicious too. No no no, may be blackcurrant would be better. But they also have German chocolate. Could I perhaps have an initial tasting?"
After tasting 17 different flavors, Yi Jeong finally settled on his first choice. He then proceeded to eat it slowly, savoring the taste.
"It has been so long since I have had ice cream," he told a rather amused Ga Eul
"Why? It is delicious. I can eat ice cream all day," informed Chin Hae.
"Well, art exhibitions don't really serve ice creams."
"Really? How boring."
"I know, they are the worst. It's filled with boring old people who have the worst taste in music. Sometimes, I get so bored with me that I actually drag Woo Bin with me, imagine!"
Lost in the conversation, Yi Jeong wasn't paying much attention to where he was going ended up colliding with a pole, dropping the ice cream straight to the ground.
"Graceful move for the future heir of an arts museum," teased Ga Eul.
Yi Jeong, who was too busy lamenting over his fallen treat didn't pay her much attention.
"Aww. I had so much left…," he pouted to himself.
"Do you want some of mine?" offered Chin Hae.
"No, no, you enjoy yours."
"Ok, noona, let's go to the park."

Jae Kyung and Woo Bin went to meet the realtor. From the onset itself, the meeting was going badly.
"Here we are not only looking to acquire tenants but also to build a community, a certain type of community. Most of the inhabitants are young married couples. We don't have anything against bachelors, but married couples are just more responsible. I assume you two are a couple?"
"Of course, come on honey, let's look around," said Woo Bin, while grabbing Jae Kyung's hand
"Relax, they won't check once you get the place," he answered in response to her questioning look.
"Feel free to look around," the lady suggested.
The pair went to take a look. Jae Kyung was beginning to like the place. Unlike her mansion, it was nice and cozy: Only five rooms. The floor had Italian tiles and furniture that was modelled on the antiques.
"The bed looks so comfy. Do you think she'll notice if I jump on the bed? It's just begging to be jumped on," commented Woo Bin.
"I think so; she has eyes like a hawk. Let's check out the balcony." They proceeded to make their way to the living room which had a connected balcony.
"The view from here is lovely. I can imagine sitting here in the evening, sipping coffee, talking to pigeons."
"We will take it," Woo Bin told the realtor.
"Good choice. The neighborhood is quite homey and the price is reasonable too, only 3600000 Won."
"Honey, why do we need another apartment? We already have such a lovely home," said Jae Kyung, while dragging her pretend husband towards the door.

The trio made their way to a nearby park. The first thing Chin Hae did was to make a run for the swings, but to his dismay, it was occupied.
"Why don't you go on the slides instead?" advised Ga Eul.
"Nonsense, I'll just stand here, stare at them and make them uncomfortable, much more effective, noona."
"You should introduce him to Woo Bin; they'll get along spectacularly well. Only Woo Bin would probably stand here and sing until the other guy ran off the swing."
They both remembered Woo Bin singing 'Baby I like it' and shuddered internally.
"Why don't you go on that swing, it looks much safer, it's fitted with a safety belt and everything," advised Yi Jeong, while pointing at the swing designed for infants.
"You sound just like noona. It's a swing. It doesn't go that fast!" informed Chin Hae while getting on the swing, having successfully weirded out its previous occupant.

"The rent is 20000 Won, ma'am. Would you like to have a look?"
Having learned from their previous experience they had decided to ask about the rent first.
This apartment was less spacious than the last one, having only 2 bedrooms, but it was still homey enough. To Jae Kyung's delight, the living room also had a balcony attached to it. On making her way to the bedroom, Jae Kyung was greeted by a highly enthusiastic dog.
"Aww, how cute. Is it yours?"
"Yes, but not for long. This little girl is going to be your roommate."
"Excuse me?" questioned Jae Kyung.
"This is Jeanette. She's a pure breed pug who just can't wait to live with you. Yes, she can't. Yes she can't. Aww my little cuddly poo," said the landlord while scratching Jeanette's tummy.
"Excuse us a moment," said Woo Bin taking Jae Kyung aside.
"Is she crazy? Who rents an entire room to a dog?"
"Well the apartment is really nice. And I like animals. I'm sure I can learn to live with it."
"You sure?"
"Maybe, Jeanette could take my mind off Leo."
"Leo?"
"My pet lion that I had as a little girl. Classic story. Girl meets lion. Becomes best friends. The villain of this story, my father, gives him up for adoption. He's in the city zoo. I visit him sometimes, but they don't let me feed him."
"That sucks. I guess you should take it then."
With unwavering confidence, they made their way to announce their decision.
"We'll take it." The duo chorused.
"Wonderful. When would you like to meet the entire family?"
"What's wrong with you? She's not going to marry the dog," declared a highly flabbergasted Woo Bin.
"Don't be ridiculous. I meant her other roommates, Jeanette's seven bodyguards."
"Seven?" questioned Jae Kyung.
"Male bodyguards?" inquired Woo Bin.
"No, Jeanette isn't ready for motherhood yet. They're all female German shepherds."
"Woman, you're crazy," alleged Woo Bin while they sprinted towards the exit.

"This is aweeeeesssssssooooooommmmmmmeeeeeeee. It's like flying!" squealed Yi Jeong who had occupied the swing vacated by Chin Hae, who had now moved to the slides.
"I'm glad you are enjoying yourself, is it your first time?" enquired Ga Eul.
"Yeah, when I was younger, my father was too busy instilling the skills needed to be the heir of the So family in me to take me to the park. And my mother, well she was sick most of the time."
Wanting to hide his expression from her he decided to move to the see-saw. Sitting on the other side of it, Ga Eul was still looking at him intently. She had noticed that color had begun to drain from Yi Jeong's face. Sensing there were some unpleasant memories he would rather escape, she decided a change of subject was in order.
"I'm surprised Jun Pyo sunbae's house didn't have a swing."
"President Kang thought that the heir of Shinwa was above such trivialities. She insisted on more educational forms of entertainment, like model United Nations. She would make us dress up in the appropriate attire of the country we were representing, and insist we memorize the script in the native language of our respective countries while we discussed the matters. She had even organized a panel of judges to grade us on our performance."
"Wow. Looking at how childlike Jun Pyo sunbae is nobody would ever guess that his mother would be so… so…strict."
"Bitchy is the word you are looking for. Once, she caught us jumping on the bed. She thought our behavior was criminal so to give us a taste of how they are treated, she locked us all in the attic. It's needless to say that we never went to Jun Pyo's house to play after that. Most of our meetings were then held in Woo Bin's house. Speaking of Woo Bin, his Gran did take us to the park once, but he thought that burying other kids in the sand and making a mermaid out of them was more fun than swinging. Woo Bin thought it was art, parents of those kids didn't agree."
"He is the same old Woo Bin sunbae," commented Ga Eul while pushing her feet against the ground to lift her side of the seesaw in the air.
"As he would tell you, you can't really improve on perfection," chuckled Yi Jeong while doing his best Woo Bin imitation.
"You two really do know each other well. If someone didn't know both of you, then they could easily mistake you to be brothers. Do you have any siblings?"
"Yeah, I have an older brother, Il Hyun. He is around 6 years older than me and was always very protective of me. In Kindergarten, I would often clutch his hands to prevent him from leaving me alone. He would often have to sit with me for 10 minutes until I calmed down enough. Like any good older sibling, he tried to shield me from realities of life. When my pet hamster died he quietly replaced him with another one. He taught me so much, you know. We would often do pottery together. He taught me how to ride a bike, and no matter how many times I fell off, he still persisted.," He took a big gulp as if trying to compose himself than in one big breath he said,
"Anyway, now he is gone and that is fine. It's not like I never get to see him. He visited when I was fourteen."
Ga Eul got up from the see-saw giving Yi Jeong a sudden jolt.
"Hey, that was not cool," he said while giving her a mock glare.
"Come; let us go to the merry-go-round. You'll love it. Stand on it and hold onto to the bars while I spin you.
"So, none of you F4 members had a standard childhood, huh?"
"Yeah, one disadvantage of having families which such high powered jobs is that you don't get to ride on your appa's shoulders or be pushed on a swing by your omma," said he while staring at the lady pushing her child on the swing. Taking a poignant pause he then went on:
"It' not like she didn't try. It's hard to be a doting mother when you're ill. It wasn't that she would completely neglect me. Sure sometimes she would forget to come to my school art exhibition, or forget my birthday, but it's hard to remember things when you are confined to a bed all the time. I'm sure she was still proud of me." Sniffing as if trying to hold off tears he continued, "Only because that one time I showed her a pot I had made for her birthday and she threw it away and said that with each pot you make you are turning more and more…" as if suddenly realizing that he was rambling, he stopped. Yi Jeong's head was facing downwards and his body was shaking. Even though his head was buried in his shirt, Ga Eul was acutely aware of how much pain he was really in. In an attempt to distract him she began to spin the merry-go-round as fast as she could.
"Ahhhhh, Ga Eul you are going to kill meeeeeee,"
Ga Eul was glad that she had successfully distracted him. Seeing him dejected really bothered her.

"Is this all of it?" asked Jae Kyung
The current apartment they had entered was tiny. It was so tiny that Woo Bin could walk across the entire living room in only four steps. Not only that, when the ad had announced that it had two rooms, it actually meant two rooms. The kitchen and bathroom was actually one room while the living room and bedroom made the other.
"It looks exactly like the picture in the ad. I thought the picture was compressed to show all the rooms as one," whispered Woo Bin
"Don't you like it?" asked the landlord. It really is the next new thing.
"I think it is a little too cozy for us," said Jae Kyung.
"Well, it would be difficult to find something bigger for a reasonable rent, unless you get a roommate. I'll be your roommate. We could live in this cozy apart nicely," said the landlord giving Jae Kyung a hopeful look.
Woo Bin answered him by stuffing his own brochure in his mouth.

Ga Eul made her way to the top of the slide; when she had reached her destination, she looked down at Yi Jeong, flashed him her usual smile and said,"since you never did the regular things as a kid, I, Chu Ga Eul, daughter of Chu Il Won and Chu Min Ji, vow to give u a taste of it today. Come on, we'll drop my brother off and then go exploring."
Sliding down the slide, she head off to drop her brother with Yi Jeong in tow. Nervous about a possible encounter with her mother, Yi Jeong decided to wait outside, out of view.
"Bye mom, I'm going out to with a friend. I'll be back in a few hours," with that said she made her way out. However, her brother had made it out with her as well.
"Noona, I just wanted to say, have fun on your date."
Hoping to save herself from further embarrassment, she began to drag Yi Jeong away.
"Don't worry, I won't tell appa and omma that it's not Woo Bin hyung who'll become their son-in-law."
Ga Eul was hoping Yi Jeong hadn't caught that. He was walking with both his hands in his pockets, wearing a huge grin on his face. So maybe he hadn't.

"This is so much better than the last apartment we saw. It actually has a separate bathroom and kitchen," exclaimed Jae Kyung.
"It is also bigger. You could be quite comfortable here."
"We are definitely interested in renting the place," said a beaming Jae Kyung to the landlord.
"The only thing we are particular about miss, is that our tenants be responsible."
"Of course. I always pay my bills on time and I have enough funds," said the heiress handing over her bank records.
"Your last payment was to strip and tell corporations"
"A gift for a friend."
"Ma'am, I think you should leave."
Making their way to Woo Bin's car the duo began to brainstorm.
"I think it's time to bring in the reinforcements," he informed.
_oOo_
"The paramount thing in any child's childhood is building successful fort, at least once. But where can we go to do that?" she pondered.
"Come with me, it's time for some payback," said Yi Jeong while directing her towards his car. 20 minutes later, they had reached their destination. Ringing the doorbell, they waited.
"Hello, Gran. Is Woo Bin home?"
"No, dear."
"Can we wait for him in his room?"
"Yi Jeong, if you want to get back at Woo Bin for something you can just say so. Come in you two."
Yi Jeong let out a nervous chuckle.
"Master So, could I get you two anything to eat?" asked Woo Bin's butler.
"No, thank you. Please get us all the pillows and blankets you can find."
Yi Jeong began to meticulously construct the framework of the fort by using Woo Bin's favorite chair and table. He also used other chairs to help the process. He was about to line the floor with a blanket when Ga Eul hit him on the head with a pillow.
"Pillow fights are also part of a regular childhood," she grinned.
"Is that so?" he said while throwing the same pillow at her, but to his dismay he missed his mark, hitting a framed picture of some certificate. Ga Eul went towards it to pick it up.
"Class clown?"
"It was awarded to him in middle school. He considers that to be one of his biggest achievements. That's what I call payback," he said while placing the picture frame in his bag.
Ga Eul covered the framework with blankets. Taking advantage of her distracted state, Yi Jeong threw a pillow at her, this time hitting his mark. Ga Eul responded by draping him over with a blanket.
"Aww, Yi Jeong, you make the perfect blushing bride," said Ga Eul while admiring her handiwork.

Jan Di was sitting in anatomy class carefully copying down the diagram of the human excretory system when she noticed that someone from the administrative office had entered her classroom, and he and her teacher seemed to be completely immersed in deep conversation. Furthermore, they both kept throwing worried glances in her direction.
"Geum Jan Di, can you come here please."
Jan Di walked towards her teacher.
"A friend of yours, Song Woo Bin, has come to see you. He is waiting for you in the lawn. He says it's an emergency, and you must leave with him immediately."
"Did he say what the emergency is?"
"I'm afraid not but he seemed rather tensed."
Jan Di began to make her way to the lawn, a tornado of thoughts spinning through her mind. What could have happened? Had Jun Pyo gotten locked in his room again? Or had he gotten a severe case of food poisoning from the sheer number of ddeokggochi (fried rice cake skewers) he had eaten from the street yesterday? Maybe it was something to do with Ga Eul. She remembered that Ga Eul had to pick up her brother today. Had she been hit by a bus on her way there? With all that in her mind, she made her way towards Woo Bin, her legs shaking with nervousness.
"Woo bin sunbae, what happened? Did something happen to Jun Pyo or Ga Eul?
"No, they are both fine. Why would you think that? Anyway, I just needed your help with finding an apartment for Jae Kyung. We are having no luck whatsoever."
"You said it was urgent."
"It is, I have to catch a movie in 3 hours."
Jan Di was so angry that she grabbed on to his shirt, breaking off a button. Then, remembering where she was, she began to take calming breaths. Letting go of his shirt she said, "Never scare me like that again," as she walked back to class.

"Let me get this straight, you want to run around the hay field while I throw paint at you?"
"That is the gist of it," she said while wearing her protective gear and clothing.
"But this may hurt you," he said looking at her with concern.
"Relax, its only paint and you have full control over the speed. Just hold the paintball in your hand and aim," she said while taking a successful shot at him.
"It's on," he said while chasing her across the field. Initially skeptical about a game whose sole purpose seemed to be- to dirty your opponents clothing, he was now thoroughly enjoying himself. Ga Eul was a good opponent. She would successfully dodge his shots by hiding herself behind a pile of hay. Then, from the safety of her hiding place, she would take several successful shots at him. She had managed to bring out the child hidden inside the mature sophisticated potter.
"You are quite an opponent, Ga Eul yang," he said while stretching out his hand. Ga Eul came out from behind a pile of hay to shake it, which turned out to be a wrong move. Yi Jeong used this opportunity to color her hair.
"Well played," she said, before striking Yi Jeong with three shots pinning him to the ground
"Okay. Okay. I surrender" said Yi Jeong who was on the ground raising his arms in defeat.
"You look so beautiful, Yi Jeong," said Ga Eul helping him up, impressed by her work.
"Woo Bin would pay you a fortune to send him a picture right now," he giggled.
_oOo_
"You didn't even ask her where she was going? For all we know she could be out with that creep, Woo Shin."
"You mean Woo Bin?" asked Chin Hae.
"Chin Hae, go to your room."
With a pout, he made his way towards his room. If adults took kids seriously, then they may get their facts straight.
"I told you, I was dicing vegetables. If you mind this Woo Bin so much the why did you let her go on that trip with him?"
"You know I can't say no to our little girl."
_oOo_
"Yi Jeong, its clay. It'll sink!"
"But Ga Eul, it's so beautiful. It looks just like the miniature titanic."
"Aish," sighed Ga Eul in defeat.
She had decided that their next activity should be sailing paper boats. However, Yi Jeong was adamant on making his boat from clay. It was rather beautiful and he had become rather attached to it and insisted on sailing it.
"Ga Eul launched her boat into the water, unlike Yi Jeong's boat, it floated.
"I use to come here when I was little."
"With Jan Di?"
"Yeah, once she lost a boat race. She spent the next day researching ways to make her boat faster. It was a little effective."
"The same old Guem Jan Di," he chuckled. "But I dare say, she is good for Jun Pyo. She reins his more naïve side in."

"And remember, extra whipped cream. Sure, cherries too."
Woo Bin, Ji Hoo and Jan Di had all decided to spend an evening together, relaxing at the F4 lounge. On entering it, they were greeted with an unusual site. Yi Jeong was lounged on the sofa, a tub of ice-cream in one hand and a phone on the other, and seemed to be ordering something that included a lot of whipped cream and cherries.
"What are you ordering, pizza?" asked an excited Woo Bin.
"Who puts whipped cream and cherries on pizza?" asked a surprised Jan Di.
"I do, I'm not saying it's my favorite but it's not bad. Bro, what's with all the ice cream?"
"Dude, did you go through a breakup?" enquired Ji Hoo.
"Breakup? You hid this from me? How could you hide such vital information, Woo Bin sunbae?" said Jan Di while throwing daggers at Woo Bin.
"You feel betrayed? It's me who should. I'm his bro and yet he didn't tell me!"
"Relax, there is no girl, I just wanted some Ice cream and anyway, Woo Bin, it is you who is holding out on us," commented Yi Jeong, while raising his eyebrow. On hearing that, all eyes turned to Woo Bin. "What, don't look at me. I don't have a girlfriend; Jae and I are just friends."
"Jae, who is Jae?" asked Ji Hoo while eating a spoonful of ice cream from the tub.
"What Jae? I didn't say Jae, you did." Then taking the tub of ice cream from Yi Jeong, he said, "Yi Jeong, you better watch your figure if you ever want to be a good wife. Now go bake me some cookies."
"Dude, that is so sexist. Anyway, what I meant was why do Ga Eul's parents think that you'll be their future son-in-law?" Yi Jeong took the tub back from Woo Bin and continued enjoying his treat.
"What!" growled Jan Di, dropping her spoon of ice-cream.
"What can I say, I'm just that charming. They only spoke to me once and they already wish to add me to their family."
"Actually, they are worried that you'll be their son-in-law. They think you are crazy."
"Well, I suppose they felt that their daughter wouldn't be able to resist a smoking hot bad boy." Then eying Jan Di's glare he abruptly added "Not that I see her that way. She's like my little sister, you know."
"Anyway, break time is over. I got to get back to studying. Thanks for the ice cream Yi Jeong sunbae, "said Jan Di as she made her way to the exit making sure to give Woo Bin a warning look on her way out.
"I'm tanked. I think I'm going to go home, take a long shower, and then rest my eyes," said Ji Hoo as he picked up his bag and prepared to leave.
"I think I'm going to take all this ice cream home. The fridge over here doesn't have enough room," said Yi Jeong while he picked up his three tubs of ice cream, rushing home to prevent them from melting.
"Alright, bye. I'm just going to hang here for a while," replied Woo Bin.
_oOo_
After spending a pleasant couple of hours with Yi Jeong, Ga Eul had gone back home, deciding on finishing up her homework. However, before she could make it to her room, she discovered that Woo Bin had called her 10 times. Wondering what this was about, she decided to go to the F4 lounge to check it out. On entering the F4 lounge, Ga Eul was greeted by the sound of Jae Kyung's voice.
"It says here to thread the needle and then make a knot at the end," instructed Jae Kyung.
"But how big should the knot be?" he asked his companion. "Does it have a picture?"
"I don't know Woo Bin. It doesn't have a picture. After that it says to put the pointy end of the needle in the hole of the button and pull it though. This step has been shown in this gif."
"Hold on. I'm still tying the knot."
Woo Bin was sitting on the sofa, with his shirt on his lap, a thread in one hand and a needle in the other. Jae Kyung was sitting beside him holding a laptop.
"Jan Di tore off the button of my favorite shirt. I'm attempting to fix it," he told Ga Eul as he made a knot at the end of the thread. Unfortunately, the knot was too small so the entire thread just passed through.
"Here, I'll help you." Then taking the thread and needle from him, she placed herself between Woo Bin and Jae Kyung.
"So, Jan Di tore this off? Why?"
"I don't know. All I did was ask her to help in finding Jae an apartment."
"Really, that is so unlike her," pondered Ga Eul. But knowing that this was Woo Bin there probably was more to the story. She decided to ask Jan Di later. "Is that why you called me?"
"Yeah, we are having no luck what-so-ever. The apartments we can afford are either too small or come with crazy landlords."
Ga Eul thought over this for a minute and then turning to the other girl, she asked, "Maybe you could get a roommate? That would make it easier. How about we all get together next weekend and help you?"
"Thanks Ga Eul, I really..." she was cut off by the ringing of her cellphone.
"Yeah, uhuh, we are done. I'll be on my way."
"It was your grandmother; she was asking when we'll be back. I'm hungry so I think I'll go." Woo Bin was about to get up; presumably to drop her off but Jae Kyung stopped him.
"You drop Ga Eul off; I'll take your car. I know the way, I'll be fine," she reassured him as she made her way out.
"Well, she took the car, so we'll have to walk."
"Woo bin sunbae? Can I ask you something?" Ga Eul was fidgeting while she said this, as if she was afraid of what she was about to say.
"Relax, Ga Eul, I'm like the brother you never wanted. You can ask me anything."
"It's about Yi Jeong's brother…"
"Il Hyun? What did that soul sucking scorpion do now?" There was venom in his voice that Ga Eul had never heard before.
"Yi Jeong and I took my younger brother to the park that's how the subject came up. When Yi Jeong was talking about him, the memories he was reciting were all happy but yet there was melancholy in his voice. He abruptly ended the topic and it didn't seem right to pry."
"Well, how do I say this…Yi Jeong's family isn't exactly traditional."
"Yeah he mentioned that his mom was sick most of the time and his father would travel a lot."
"You mean philander? Yeah Il Hyun got tired of taking care of his sick parent and little brother and left when Yi Jeong was only eleven, leaving that poor child with his psychotic parents, helpless to face the world alone." The sheer amount of hatred in his voice surprised her. She had never seen him so…angry. "Initially he had remained in touch but slowly began to pull away, changing his cellphone number and everything. Like he is some celebrity that we are all dying to find. Apparently he is some art consultant now. He even has his own website. What a snob. Here, I'll show you." Woo Bin began to type something on his laptop and a website came up. "Look at how flashy it is. Look at the color combination. So tacky, nobody likes a showoff Il Hyun!"
"So you did look him up?"
"Anyway, I guess Yi Jeong still misses him sometimes but trust me, it was good riddance to bad rubbish. Come on, I'll walk you home," he said while holding open the door for her.
They walked the rest of the way in silence, reaching her house without much hassle, completely unaware that two pairs of eyes were watching them like hawks.
"Look, it's that Woo Shin guy again. Why doesn't he let our daughter be?" said Ga Eul's father.
"Scoot over, let me see," said his wife.
