We're back! Let's reply to some reviews first!

lordgemini- Awesome to hear from you! Don't worry about comparing to the original. I will be doing that quite a lot to be honest. I'm glad you liked how the introductions worked. I found throughout my time writing that interactions with other contestants sells better than one-on-one with a host. Glad you're excited for the next episode, since here it is!

Alright, let's get going!

Episode 2: Finally, a Natural Island, Part II

Chris stood on the dock, pacing around with an excited grin, still happy to be back. "Last time, on Total Drama Karon Island," he opened, "we had a new introduction to twenty very new players!" Scenes began showing of Luna teleporting to catch Hannah, and Madison emerging out from the booth below the table. "Some people are very excited to go, while others might need to pick up the pace a bit." Scenes played of Alexa napping on the boat, and Sheldon flying through the air. "Tensions are high already, and with our teams formed, they might be even higher." The next scenes that played were Angie glaring over at Jonathan while Kayla looked upset to see Sheldon on her team.

"Today, one of these twenty go home, kissing their shot at a million bucks goodbye as well!" Chris laughed. "This will be a real doozy today! Find out which team pulls through, and what goes on at our first elimination tonight, on Total! Drama! Karon Island!" As he said the word 'island', a shot of lightning crashed down very close to the dock. "Huh."

Opening Sequence

[Various cameras and other director equipment come popping out of various points on the island. Firstly, it appears out of a large tree, then out of a hole at the entrance to the mines, and finally, shooting all the way from the top of The Chasm.]

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine,

[The camera zooms all the way up at the top of Mount Karon. Kara is at the top, observing something as Kayla jumps off of the cliff and starts flying downward, opening up a parachute at the very last second.]

You guys are on my mind,

[The camera moves to the beach, where Gretchen falls off of the rocky cliff and lands face first into the water, still splashing around happily anyway. Nearby, Juan is relaxing in the water as Hannah pops up next to him, evidently annoying him.]

You asked me what I wanted to be, and I think the answer is plain to see,

[Near the beach, the fourth boat is still wrecked and crashed into a rock. Helio lifts the boat out of the water to move it, all while Daniel is still on it, shocked at the boy's strength. Meanwhile, Madison emerges from the boat wreckage as well, and Jonathan offers his hand to help, which she takes begrudgingly.]

I wanna be famous!

[Further into the woods, Paul is narrowly racing against Sarah in a race. The pessimist trips over Sheldon and crashes to the ground, upset over his loss because of it. Flora rushes over to check on the safety of both the boys.]

I wanna live close to the sun,

[At the base of Mount Karon, Randall is decked out in climbing gear, excited to start moving up the mountain. Next to him, Alexa, looks significantly disinterested, sleeping on a log instead of watching.]

Go pack your bags cause I've already won,

[In the forest, Chad is screaming and jumping around to different trees, while Angie stands in the middle of all of it, covering her ears and getting increasingly more agitated.]

Everything to prove, nothing in my way, I'll get there one day,

[As Chad makes more noises, Ethan and Norm watch from a tree in the distance, before both of them exchange an understanding nod. Next to them lies an empty poison bottle.]

Cause I wanna be famous!

[In the dining tent, Chef and Luna are conversing rather calmly, before a strike of lightning crashes down on the tent. Chef runs out, but Luna appears unfazed by it, instead calmly glancing upward.]

Na na, na na na na, na na na na, na na na na na na!

[The camera moves to the dock, where Luna appears out of nowhere, spooking Paul and Kayla. The two glare at her, the former giving up on caring much faster than the latter.]

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

[The camera drops down to the mines, where Kara is lurking, and she presses a button that launches out a ball of fire. The fire reveals some sort of odd structue inside the mine, bursting into a big glow that transitions to the fire.]

I wanna be famous *whistling*

[Everyone is circled up at the fire. In the middle of all of it, Jonathan leans in toward Madison, who jumps backward, accidentally landing in Ethan's lap, where she is even more freaked out. Above them is the sign that reads 'Total Drama Karon Island'.]

At the beach, everyone was still waiting for this first challenge to start. The Happy Hens were all to the right, while the Bouncing Bunnies were waiting on the left, both teams ready to go. "Let's get going with this first race then!" Chris announced with a smirk. "You'll be doing a simple relay race today to ease you into things. Each team member will run to the line way down there and come back."

Everyone was quiet for a second, unwilling to believe that was truly all that Chris had up his sleeve for the day. "What?" he asked them, "I just got here too, you think I had time to set up a challenge?" More silence. Eventually, Norm grabbed a rock and threw it over to the race area, and when the rock landed, a mine was set off. Chris sighed. "Fine. There are also traps waiting around for you to run into. Happy? Nothing else though."

Suddenly, rain began falling out of the sky, and thunder and lightning began also running rampant. The storm had picked up out of nowhere. "That's odd," Kara said to herself as she examined above her. "I could have sworn it was just sunny a few seconds ago." She and a few of her teammates all looked at Chris for more explanation.

Chris sighed. "You are all way too paranoid. The weather sucks, but it's not like we can control it." He pulled out an umbrella only for him and put it up. "That's better. Now, you have one minute to pick a running order. After that, you're gonna have to go on the fly, so at least get who you want first and send them up to start running."

Both teams began trying to communicate with each other to get planning done, some more aggressively than others. "You!" Angie yelled, pointing at Norm. "You look like the slowest out of all of us. I'd rather us get a lead back than lose it at the end, so you're going first." Norm was about to complain about it, but grumbled in agreement instead when he saw the hothead's attitude.

"I can go after him," Jonathan claimed. "I want to show you all what I can do, since I'm actually really fast." A couple people ignored the way he phrased it, and decided not to argue. "After that...how about you?" He pointed to Ethan, who looked like he was zoning out. "Hey!" he yelled, "are you even paying attention?" He snapped his fingers a few times.

Ethan turned to the team. "Sorry, was listening in on the Bunnies. We need to pick better counters to each person they're sending up: crafty people against their strongest and fast against their weakest, that's how we win this. Take advantage of traps we find and try and use it against them. We have to win this." He smirked. "Is that a good enough plan?" Jonathan huffed at the retaliation.

Jonathan: "I already don't like that guy," he said with an angry tone. "Even if his plan was solid, that just means I need to watch out for him. What else is he willing to take?" He shook his head with disgust. "Mark my words, I'll find a way to take him down."

Ethan: "Seriously? Does it kill someone to think maybe I want to win? I probably want to win more than all of them combined!" He shook his head in disgust. "Mark my words, I'll find a way to take him down."

The Bouncing Bunnies were having a much more direct discussion. "Fastest to slowest," Kayla argued instantly. "That means we probably send Helio first, and then maybe me or Paul." She glared around. "Any objections?" No one tried to argue with the brat. "Great, let's show them what we've got, because we're a million times better than them."

With the challenge about to start, Norm and Helio got lined up. Norm was intimidated by the strongman's terrifying height and strength, but regained his focus as Chris came up to them. "We'll have you all go today, so be ready to send someone when these guys get back!" Norm and Helio readied themselves. "Ready?" Chris then rang the air horn. "Go!"

With that, the challenge had officially started. Norm went as fast as he could, but was clearly no match for Helio's athletic prowess. "Me fast run!" Helio shouted with a powerful boom. As he ran, he set off multiple mines beneath him, but none of them seemed to faze him at all, he just...kept running. Norm, seeing the opportunity, ran Helio's exact path to avoid any other traps that may come out.

Helio was on his way back by the time Norm hit the edge to turn around. As he did, a section under Helio collapsed, revealing a giant ditch that was keeping either player from going any further. "You're kidding," Norm said with a grimace. "I need to get something to cross that before that hulking man realizes he can just jump over it..."

The antisocial genius began searching, but the beach was baren with pretty much anything. "No way I can rip off a tree branch," he said with a sigh. He then noticed Helio backing up. "Crap, he's about to do it." With no other option, Norm latched to the back of Helio, who did not notice or move at all. The strongman easily cleared the ditch gap and ran to the other side. When he did, Norm got off as well.

Wit the teams still tied up, Helio tagged in Kayla, while Juan was tagged in for the Hens. "That was big for us," Angie said with a smirk. "They sent out their fastest person and lost, while we still have some power players locked away!" For the first time in the competition she actually looked excited to be there. Juan was falling behind Kayla a bit, but both stopped when they got to the ditch.

"This is ridiculous!" Kayla complained. "We have to go over that thing twice!" Juan went for the woods along the edge of the beach, and grabbed a tree branch as large as he was able to carry. Kayla smirked. "I guess I'll just wait for him to put that down." Juan made his way back and placed the branch across the ditch, which gave Kayla a chance to take the lead again.

Kayla tagged in Paul next, who began running ahead. Paul was nearly at the ditch when a lightning strike nearly hit him, launching him forward a bit, but also putting him on the ground. "Crap..." he muttered, "now I'm going to blow a lead..." Juan finally got back and tagged Sarah in. The swimmer made her way to Paul, but the pessimist was up and moving again pretty quickly.

Paul moved across Juan's branch, which he ran into an issue with on the way back as Sarah was going across it from the other direction. "Hey! That's our branch!" Sarah told him, "you better let me through first!" Both stood about a third of the way across the ditch, staring each other down. Eventually, Paul took a few steps forward and jumped to the other side from halfway, resolving the issue. "Fine," Sarah grumbled moving to keep in pace with him.

"Allow me to go next," Flora offered, seeing that Paul was coming back. The pessimist skidded to a halt and tagged in the pacifist. "Wonderful work!" she exclaimed, making Paul raise an eyebrow. Flora ignored that as she was already on her way. As Sarah came back, she tagged in Jonathan, who was getting ready to go.

Paul: "What was that about?" he asked blankly. "I mean, she shouldn't waste her time being so nice to someone she'll inevitably have to turn on."

The two bolted as fast as they could, but Flora still had a substantial lead by the time they got back, and the path free of traps was pretty evident from the footprints at this point. "Put me in," Ethan said fiercely to his team. With no objections, he took the ready position. As Jonathan was coming back and as Flora tagged in Randall, the lover boy was struck by lightning and launched forward.

Jonathan screamed and flew ahead, and he crashed down right in front of the anti-villain. "Good enough," Ethan said with a shrug, tagging himself in with Jonathan's scorched hand. "Have to buy us our lead back." He and Randall were making similar paces, but Ethan caught up a bit when Randall opted to climb up some of the ditch instead of running across. Ethan made it to the other side, and watched Randall tag in Daniel. "Let's see them stay ahead with this."

The anti-villain pushed the log down the ditch, forcing Daniel to stop at the ditch again, with no way across. "Nice going!" Angie yelled sarcastically, "now we have no way of getting over!" She kicked the ground and yelled out for a second before regaining her composure. "What were you thinking?" she demanded from her teammate.

Ethan shrugged, tagging in Chad as he made it back. "We might have no way of getting over," he argued, "but neither do they. Now we're even again, and they just used up all their best runners." Angie processed that reasoning, which made sense to her. "We pretty much guaranteed a win if we can get a branch that supports us the whole time now."

Daniel brought back an exceptionally average looking branch to the ditch. "This will have to do," he said with a sigh. Instead of following suit, Chad jumped over the ditch and climbed back up what he missed, touched the line, and did the same thing coming back. Chad was now buying a lead back for the Hens for the first time in the race.

As the Bunnies watched Daniel come in a bit behind Chad, who tagged Madison in, Alexa finally opened her eyes. "Alright, I'll get us our difference back, I'm fast enough," she offered. She stood up, and brushed some of the sand out of her hair. Once Daniel tagged her in, she broke into a sprint up until the point where she caught up with Madison, then the underachiever stopped her efforts there and just kept a pace. Each team was now tied going into their eighth runner.

Alexa: "Extra work is for losers and people who like making their lives miserable," the underachiever claimed. "But, being fully lazy is how you get voted off first. I still want to win, so I still need to do there bare minimum to make sure I do."

Gretchen was tagged in, and as Alexa made it back, she was about to tag in Kara, but someone jumped ahead of her. "I'll relinquish your troubles," Sheldon boasted, grabbing Alexa's hand before Kara could and running ahead. Gretchen waved to her opponent as she ran, which caused her to trip, and allowed even the obnoxious nerd to pass her. "Despicable," he said with a snoot.

The klutz fell right on a mine and blew herself over the ditch the first way across, even catching up to where Sheldon was. "I did it!" she cheered. "Now where do I go back to?" She noticed Sheldon running back across the branch over the ditch. "Yay!" she cheered again, skipping over to it. As she barely made it across, the branch snapped, and now there was nothing over the ditch anymore.

Despite everything, Gretchen still barely came in ahead of Sheldon. "Guess it's up to me," Angie said with a groan. "I'll get us that lead." Sheldon tagged in Luna. "No, not you!" the hothead grumbled. "I gotta get a branch fast...or just jump over, I trust myself." Angie nailed the rhythm leading up to the jump, crashing down on the other side. "Great, one more and I'm clear!"

Luna, like an illusion, vanished from one side of the ditch, appeared on the other, touched the line, and then did the same coming back. Both were now tied up for the final runner. "It's getting down to the wire!" Chris called out. "Will anyone fall too early?" Angie tagged Hannah in, while Kara was finally brought in for the Bunnies.

"Maybe I can get struck by lightning to get over like some of the others," Kara analyzed as she ran, looking up at the sky. The clouds were slowly going away, and it was clear the thunderstorm was ending. "Or not...there has to be a way without getting her attention." She glanced over at Hannah, who was keeping up pretty well.

Much to the curious girl's surprise, Hannah just abruptly stopped. "Aww, look at that rainbow!" she called out to her team, who was watching in shock. "I need to get good pictures of this!" As she began snapping pictures, Kara got a branch and got herself across. Hannah was way too busy getting awesome pictures of the dying thunderstorm that she was completely blowing the game.

"No way she actually just did something like that," Angie said quietly. The hothead looked more in shock than angry. After putting her face in the sand and screaming into it, she stood up and yelled. "Get moving! If you lose this for us, you're a goner!" That seemed to get the social media freak's attention, and she began running again.

Kara now saw this, and in a panic, pushed her new branch down the ditch as well. Now both girls were stranded on either side of the ditch. "Hm...this is a predicament," Kara noted, pacing around before nearly stepping on a mine. "Wow, that was close." She stared at the mine for a bit longer, then at Hannah, who still needed to go over the ditch twice. "Okay, I got it!"

Approaching it from the side near the ditch, Kara threw herself onto the mine, blowing it up. The curious girl flew over the ditch, landing on the side with the finish line. "Yes, it worked!" she cheered, crossing the finish line and coming into cheers from her team as she left Hannah in the dust. "Hah, it was a team effort," she told all of them.

Chris cleared his throat. "Regardless of what it was, a win's a win. The Bouncing Bunnies get to be safe tonight, and the Happy Hens will be sending someone home!" Angie punched the dirt in anger, while everyone else was glaring at the social media freak, who just made it back with a nervous smile on her face. "Hens, make sure you vote and make the grueling hike up Mount Karon so I can send one of you off of that launchpad."

Kayla: "Kara's probably willing to take bigger risks than me," she admitted, "I just take more, and more often too, but when she sets her sights on something...I never wanna be in her way."

Jonathan: "Well, I think I did a pretty good job today. No doubt I'll be safe through this vote, but we had a lot of screw-ups and suspicious plays...I don't know which one to tackle first."

Angie: "The team is...getting there," she said with a heavy sigh. "Sarah's cool, so is Juan, and somehow even Norm. Then we have the bickerers, clumsy and idiot, and pathetically shy. Obviously I'll take care of Idiot today. Then, I guess we'll see what happens."

Dinner was now being served at the dining tent, and everyone decided to eat with their teams. The Bunnies were very excited at their first win. Flora cleared her throat gently to get everyone's attention. "Everyone put in a really great effort!" the pacifist congratulated her team. "Kara, you especially won us the game. I just wish there was a less painful way for you to do it."

The curious girl sighed. "Like I said, it wouldn't have mattered if everyone else didn't keep it tied up to that point, so this truly was a team effort." She took a bite of her grey slop. "Huh, this actually is pretty nutritious, as bad as it tastes. Regardless, I'm just happy we don't have to send anyone home. This feels like a real solid group."

Helio nodded, taking another bite of his slop, before lifting up the bowl and letting the whole thing fall into his mouth at once. He tried to tap the bottom of his bowl to get more out, but ended up shattering the bowl instead by accident. "Me could boot small child," he admitted, pointing at Sheldon. Sheldon sneered back at the strongman, but Helio's obliviousness never noticed him.

Paul shrugged. "Not a big fan of this whole 'we're all friends' vibe," he told them. "It kinda rules out the shot of any of us making alliances against each other, and while it'd be nice, there's no way we keep winning until the merge. That's just not going to happen." Everyone was bummed out by his statement, but at the same time, no one rushed in to disagree with him.

Over at the table with the Hens, things were significantly more tense than with the Bunnies. Everyone was pretty much eating in silence, except for Gretchen, who was humming to herself as she ate peacefully. Eventually, Angie spoke up. "Alright. Obviously we should discuss who we might want to eliminate, but since I took the lead for the challenge, I'll let someone else handle the discussion."

There was some more silence at the table for a bit before someone decided to take charge. "Fine, fine, leave it to me," Norm said. "I personally held my own against Helio, so that should probably be rewarded with safety. As easy as it is to think about though, I don't want to do this vote off of whoever was the slowest today."

"I agree," Jonathan told him, "other people may have strengths that we need down the road. I'd consider you safe too. We need to decide who's not going to help us from here on out, and I think the best example would be whoever didn't help us today...willingly." He turned over to Hannah, who was busy snapping pictures and selfies, not really paying attention. She pulled Juan in on one of the selfies, much to his chagrin.

Juan snapped a finger over to Jonathan, almost to agree with him. "Sounds like we're reaching a conclusion," Ethan chimed in. "Personally, we need to think about this a bit more. This won't be our final physical challenge, there's a big chance tomorrow's will be too. Why give those opportunities up? If we take care of the person we think is the worst at challenges, then we'll be in much better shape than if we just pick at random. I don't know about you, but maybe what if...I don't know...a photography challenge comes along? We might need something like...that."

Everyone turned over to Hannah again, who was now posting all of her photos to social media with some giggles. "It's...an idea," Norm said with an eyebrow raise. "We're a blank slate. Chris could do anything to us, so it would be sensible to vote to keep specific talents over people who have nothing to offer." He shrugged. "Oh well, we won't be able to afford these team meetings every night anyway."

Chris then went over the speakers to interrupt everyone. "Attention, losers," he called out, meaning the Hens, "you all need to send someone home. Vote at the confessional and get hiking up to the top of Mount Karon, and you may want to put a bit of 'spring' in your step." Chris laughed over the speakers, unnerving everyone for a bit. "Yeah, so go vote," he finally concluded.

As everyone got up, Ethan grabbed Norm's arm and pulled him to the back of their group. "You seem like the most sensible person here," he told him flatteringly. "Sounds like we both want the same person gone." Norm nodded. "I think we should make an alliance to secure that as best as possible. Just some extra voting power whenever we need it."

Norm put a hand up to his chin. "You definitely pulled something interesting at the challenge today. I would prefer to be on the good side of whatever you're cooking up in that brain." He shook Ethan's hand. "How long were you thinking? We'll have to part ways at some point in the merge when a million dollars is upon us."

Ethan shook his head. "I don't think so. I was thinking we take it to the finale. Obviously I'll win any physical challenge, and you'll win one more academic. It'd basically be a coinflip once the challenge was decided to figure out who won. Plus, it will give us leverage to take down internal threats early before we even see them at the merge."

Norm grinned. "Sure, let's see how tonight goes then. I think we'll find success, and a coinflip is something much less emotionally taxing than having to shatter an alliance somewhere down the road. That's assuming you don't turn on me first. Meet me after the vote, we can check to see where our team stands on everyone as of now."

Norm: "I'll keep my word to him. I plan on getting on as many good sides as possible. I've seemed to earn the trust at least from the people who matter on this team. Maybe at some point I'll work on the Bunnies. But, there is a vote to do, and I'm pretty sure while Ethan doesn't have an exact strategy yet, he might cook one up after tonight's result."

ELIMINATION I, HAPPY HENS

Night fell on Karon Island, and most of the Happy Hens were tired from the treacherous climb. The first row was filled up by Angie, Chad, Juan, Gretchen, and Hannah. Hannah tried to switch seats with Gretchen to be next to Juan, but it was not possible since the klutz was not paying attention. Juan grumbled to himself as he watched the social media freak try still. The back row was filled by Madison in the corner, then Sarah, Ethan, Norm and Jonathan. Jonathan tried to switch with Sarah too, but to no avail.

Chris approached the Hens, with nine marshmallows on his plate. "You all probably get this. A marshmallow means you're safe, and that you get another shot to win a million bucks. But, end up without one and you're out of the game, and will be taking our brand new Launch of Shame!" He gestured to the spring pad that he held the remote to.

Sarah grimaced at the Launch of Shame, a contraption that was a giant spring aimed away from the island. "Uh...do you mind defining what that thing actually does? It looks pretty dangerous from this high up." A couple of other people nervously nodded their heads to agree with her, with how little safety there was on it.

The host groaned. "Fine," Chris said begrudgingly. "If you must know, the Launch of Shame is very simple. You go on, I press the button, you go flying, never come back, and you land..." he paused. "You know, the intern we tested this on isn't back at the island yet, so when he makes it, we'll let you know where it goes, that sound good?"

Everyone was much more nervous now, especially after hearing the second part of that. "Um, I guess I'm satisfied with your explanation of it," Norm spoke up. "Not too thrilled on the whole 'we might have killed a guy' vibe, but hopefully it never comes to me going off on that thing."

Chris sighed. "Look, we've got a tracker on him, so there's no need to be so paranoid. Trackers moving, so intern is alive." Some people seemed to be a bit more at ease. "But, for caring about the intern I did not care about, Norm, you can take the first marshmallow of the night, you're safe." The antisocial genius caught his marshmallow with a smile.

"Also safe tonight," Chris called out, "Juan, and Madison!" The Spanish native and the hopeless introvert got their marshmallows, also happy to still be in the game. "Ethan, you're safe, so is Chad." The alpha let out a hoot as he caught his marshmallow in one hand, squeezing it, while the anti-villain caught his with a bored expression. "That's over half, I only have four left."

Things were tensing up a bit. Jonathan raised an eyebrow at the team, and Angie gritted her teeth a bit. Sarah looked nervous, and Hannah and Gretchen were not paying attention. "Sarah you're safe." The swimmer sighed in relief and smiled as she caught her marshmallow. "Now there's only three..." Silence was deafening at the fire now. "Jonathan."

The lover boy smirked as he was finally confirmed to be safe for another day. "Angie, you're also good to go." The hothead grabbed her marshmallow, but was not happy about being so far down. "Now we're down to two. Gretchen, you cost your team by running worse than Sheldon on the other team, where you could have earned a giant lead. Hannah, you cost your team by taking photos during the challenge on a phone someone needs to remind me to confiscate."

Hannah was now paying attention, and was not happy with that call-out. Gretchen was paying attention too now, but she was still humming to herself happily. "I only have one marshmallow left for the two of you, and one of you gets to take a ride on the Launch of Shame now." Chris held up the final marshmallow of the night. "Tonight, the loser is...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...Gretchen!" Hannah cheered audibly as she ran up and grabbed the last marshmallow with excitement. "Hannah, I have no idea how you stay in, but I guess you're here." He turned to the klutz. "Sorry, Gretchen, you're out." Without saying a word, Gretchen simply sighed and walked over to the launchpad. As she went over, she tripped over it and fell on. "Whatever," Chris decided, launching Gretchen into the sky.

Ethan: He sat quietly as he thought about everything that happened. "So...my single comment I made during dinner changed the minds of multiple people tonight. People who looked like they were set on voting Hannah...switched. But, one vote in particular really wowed me- Madison's. If I get her...I could have an insane amount of influence on this game." He shook his head. "I'm not trying to be some villain, trust me, I'm not about that. But...I do need to win real badly..."

Ethan left the confessional for Norm to be waiting outside for him. Norm checked around for anyone else before opening his mouth. "So we gathered three things tonight," the genius noted. "First, having the last say in a conversation is crucial, and it changes the course of the game." Ethan nodded in agreement at that statement.

"Second," the anti-villain added, "we have a potential third ally, but I don't want to offer her the same deal as I did to you. I want you in my finale, so we should convince Madison of a deal through other means." Norm seemed to agree with that too. "I need to figure out a way to approach her. She seems nice, but she'll run off first chance she gets."

Norm sighed. "That brings us to number three. Where to go from here. I think we keep letting Angie lead, she's good at it and I see no problem with her attitude, whatever works." He sighed. "Our next target, pardon my bluntness, but I would like to make it a personal choice. Maybe Hannah's the best bet if we want some wins, but I think we could go for some peace and quiet as well."

Ethan nodded. "I agree, I could hear that screaming from two boats away, I can't imagine what it was like on yours." He smirked. "So far we're completely under the radar. I think that we'll be able to make a few more moves before people catch on. We need to be as diligent as possible during that time, take out big threats early."

Back with the Bunnies, the girls were all relaxing on their side of the cabin. "You're all lucky Kara and I were willing to share," Kayla told them all sternly, "so you totally owe us, but I still can't believe that Chris never put a fifth bed in any of these cabins. Weren't there like eight girls on a team at one point?" Everyone was moving in at the time.

"Kayla, don't force them to give us favors, we'll manage until one of us goes, which hopefully isn't too far off." She cleared her throat. "Oh, by the way, I heard that picture girl is still here someone made the swap to that klutz who lost against our pencil lookin' kid." She shook her head. "I think there's something going on over there."

Alexa let out a loud yawn. "Whatever it is, it doesn't affect us for a long time, so I don't care." She climbed up to the top bunk and yawned again. "How long do we plan on keeping Pencil anyway? He's smart, but clearly you're good enough in that department," she told the curious girl. "Ya know, winning us the challenge and everything."

Flora shook her head. "We should really be focusing on bonding as a team, not planning for who goes away. I think our boys have a...little work, but they're all good at heart." She smiled at everyone. "We should be proud of our win, but we cannot get arrogant. I wonder what will happen to us if we do lose...I'd rather not imagine it."

"There is a great darkness over the island, and both teams," Luna added in to herself quietly. "I do not think either darkness will be dispelled on a team, but we may save the island." Everyone turned to her in silence. "Apologies, just mild ramblings, consider them worthless. I am off to bed." Seeing no reason to continue, Luna went to sleep for the night."

Luna: "I desperately need to start interacting with the other team to find out what is going on. I predicted that Hannah would be departed by now, and here she is still..." She sighed. "I'll get an 'in' on their team somehow and figure out exactly what is going on."

"Seems like everyone is getting to their big plays early this time around!" Chris called out. "Who will be the next to go? Will people find the ins they need? What will be the next challenge? There's so much to find out, so tune in next time for Total! Drama! Karon Island!"

Vote Confessionals:

Angie: "Votes are being recorded this time around, I better be careful. But, Hannah, you know why this is happening."

Chad: "Picture broski got some crazy shots! I wanna see more! Sorry to the little girly though."

Ethan: "I wonder how this is all going to go down...it's so hard to guess, but I, on a whim, am voting Gretchen."

Gretchen: "Aww, I don't want any of my friends to go away...but Angie probably wants me to vote this way."

Hannah: "Obviously Gretchen has to go. I'm not sure I can be seen on a team with someone like that."

Jonathan: "This is a tough call...I need some time to figure out who I can trust, so I need to make sure we win next. Sorry, Gretchen."

Juan: "Adios, Hannah, por favor..."

Madison: "Um...this is so embarrassing...I need him to stay a bit further away...J-Jonathan..."

Norm: "Let the pieces fall where they do. I think Angie will be upset with the result, but this makes more sense. Bye, Gretchen."

Sarah: "I don't really like Hannah's attitude about the game. I wish she was more eager to compete!"

Ahh, Gretchen. In this version, I made her slightly more oblivious, and added a few interactions with Angie to hint at next season's plotline with that. Basically, her personality is set to match Submerged Gretchen, which is very similar. Not much had to be done with her. A lot of other characters are getting more nerfs/buffs than her.

As we've seen, I've pinned some of the strategic gameplay more on Norm as well this time around, instead of having him just an Ethan yes-man, he's providing his own input and decisions, which will be important down the road. The big difference in this elimination is that no one directly had a hand in it. Ethan was the cause, sure, but he didn't intentionally take down Gretchen, it just happened.

I kept the votes exactly the same, and this will guide us into how I am dealing with Madison this time around. I've taken a lot of her inspiration from a SYOC she was sent to where she spoke maybe ten words all season and got 3rd. The ending scene is also completely new, and that will actually be a setup for Flora, to make her plot more consistent and not sprung on her.

Again, if you have any questions, I'm always around to answer, and be sure to review if you enjoyed (or not, actually, especially if you didn't.) Hopefully things are falling into place a lot better, and I am excited to handle the 'trap' scene next episode. See you then!
