Curiosity formed in Lily's eyes as soon as she viewed Vince and T.J. cutting a boy's hair. She approached them.
''Do you want your hair cut like Dog's Pajamas?'' Vince asked after he turned to Lily. He watched while she smiled and nodded.
Lily never focused on what the boy's current hair looked like before she was by T.J. and Vince. She reached for the band that tied her hair back into a bun.
One frown appeared. Lily's hair was pulled back in a bun for as long as she could remember.
''Dog's Pajamas,'' Lily said.
Another smile.
Buns removed.
