Sarah had done surprisingly well on her first rollercoaster ride as an adult. Christy, however, had nearly been sick and refused to ride anymore. Heidi insisted on at least one more coaster, with shots beforehand, of course. So they made their way to El Loco. Laura agreed to stay at the bar with Christy while the others rode the ride.

After the second coaster, Sarah felt lightheaded. Heidi suggested more alcohol, which was definitely not the right idea, but Sarah sat with her at the bar. They did more shots while the others went to powder their noses.

"Where to next?" Heidi asked when the others returned.

"Christy wants to go to a magic show," the other Sarah commented.

"Penn and Teller's show is next door," Dani said, looking at the map of top tourist attractions she had picked earlier.

"Sounds good to me," Christy grinned and headed for the door.

Heidi and Sarah exchanged looks and shrugged. "They both threw back their last shots and hurried to catch up."

Sarah's lucky streak continued as they arrived right before the next show and managed to get tickets. They found their seats and waited for the show to start.

Sarah yawned as she looked around. She had seen Penn and Teller on TV, but like most magic shows, they didn't impress her much anymore. There was a trick to all of it, and Sarah could usually figure it out after seeing it once.

The show started, and everyone cheered, laughed, and gasped in surprise as they performed their tricks and even explained how they were done. Dani sighed at one point. "Pitty, they aren't doing real magic, right Sar?"

"Yeah," Sarah sighed. "The smoke and mirror tricks are fun but not magical anymore."

"I know." Dani agreed. "I would love to see some real magic."

"Yeah, I wish you could see real magic too." The words slipped out of her mouth before she thought about it, and it wasn't until a crystal ball rolled onto the stage that she realized what she had said.
