"I thought you cancelled your animatronic order?" Logan abruptly inquired, still seeming to examine the damaged suitcase. He opened it to study the contents, observing how the items inside had been hastily thrown back in.

"There's a timeframe to reverse the cancellation before it winds up set in stone. I think I got a final chance to reverse the request like a week before it was finalized? So I cancelled the cancellation and long story short, I have animatronics now." Ayala replied, sort of idly motioning to the animatronics in question as she set her little fib in stone.

The male offered something of a hum in response to this, turning away from the suitcase to take a good, long look at Sun and Moon. He hummed again in thought as he studied them, a flicker of recollection present in his expression.

This only made the animatronics uneasy, fearing that he might actually know who they were.

"They look kinda familiar." Logan commented, moving away from the suitcase so that he could approach Sun.

In response to this, Sun awkwardly shied back, unsure of what to do in this scenario.

Under normal circumstances he probably wouldn't have minded the approach. He had dealt with many foul tempered adults in the past. The problem now was that Logan was a potential risk and he really didn't want to accidentally say or do anything that could lead to himself and Moon being decommissioned.

"Yeah, I uh… I kinda had them based on that Daycare Attendant bot from Fazbear…" Ayala uttered in turn, sounding rather hesitant as she did so. In doing so, she seemed to completely pull the man's attention away from the animatronics. He almost seemed surprised to hear what she had just said.

"Really?" Logan inquired, a note of excitement to his voice. He almost sounded happy to hear what she had just said. Though there was a hesitance to his voice.

"Well, yeah… I uh, I brought up the whole animatronic debate to the shrink. They mentioned that if I got the bots all dressed up like something nostalgic… Well, it might help me let go of some personal baggage. Figured I might as well try out their advice. I can always get them redesigned if it doesn't work out." Ayala replied in turn, still sounding rather awkward and uncertain as she spoke. What's more, she was refusing to make eye contact with her friend as she did so. She sort of awkwardly stared at anything else in the room. Almost as if she was afraid of what his reaction might be.

What followed suit was another long period of silence, before the man simply strolled over to the woman to pull her into a careful hug.

"That's great!" Logan chimed, letting the woman go for a moment so that he could dramatically ruffle her hair.
"Finally, some progress in the right direction! Now, if you could stop lying to me about how you got hurt, today would just go swimmingly." He added, stepping back and slapping his hands together rather loudly. He then went quiet while maintaining eye contact with the woman, who simply offered a sigh and a partial shrug.

"I already told you. The bots gave me a spook and I took a tumble with the suitcase. They wound up putting me in bed and dealing with the aftermath all night." Ayala replied, sticking to her earlier story of how she'd somehow managed to wind up all beat up. This only coaxed a sigh from the male, who shook his head.

"Of course." Logan stated, rather sarcastically, at that. He shifted his weight as he proceeded to cross his arms. "So how'd your car wind up getting eaten by the wildlife? You were putting groceries away when I called last night." He inquired, now seemingly digging for additional details. Likely this was an attempt at figuring out exactly why she was lying to him.

"Well, considering I went for the world's shittiest sled ride trying to bring my suitcase upstairs, I didn't exactly have the chance to make sure everything was shut and locked." Ayala retorted, her tone equally as sarcastic as she spoke to the man.

Sun and Moon simply continued to listen in on their conversation, struggling to figure out exactly what the dynamic was between the two humans.

Logan sighed rather dramatically, putting his closed fists on his hips as he shook his head. He seemed to move as if intent on asking more questions, but ultimately he never did more than make a few random noises. As in he began to start to say a word, but never managed to commit to saying any of them.

"Havin' some trouble there~?" The woman inquired, seemingly attempting to tease the man. She knew that he wanted to pry a bit more for information, but it was also obvious that he was having trouble thinking of the right questions to ask.

"Little bit. Any chance I can just ask you to stop lying?" Logan replied in turn, offering his own sort of smart-ass inquiry. This was only rewarded with a quiet, half laugh from the woman.

"We'll just go with the fact that I had an accident and call it a compromise." Ayala stated, seemingly offering a sort of middle ground. While accident wasn't exactly the correct description of the night before when context was taken into account, it also wasn't the wrong word to use.

Logan took a moment to give her a long, sort of stern look. He seemed to be reading her. Attempting to determine if there was any sort of lie hiding in her words.

Inevitably he accepted the fact that she was technically being honest with him.

"An accident, eh? Guess that's the best I'll get outta you for the time being." Logan responded, seemingly accepting Ayala's compromise for the time being. His demeanor appeared to relax somewhat as he uttered these words. Which, admittedly, helped Sun relax. Not Moon. Moon did not know how to relax.
"Alright. Real talk now. Do you need to go to the hospital?" He inquired, very clearly wanting to make sure that his friend was alright. The woman offered a partial shrug at this.

"The animatronics are basically walking medical scanners. I just need some time to rest." Ayala responded honestly. She hadn't suffered any lethal injuries. She'd of known by now if her shoulder was in need of immediate medical attention.

Namely because she probably wouldn't be able to move her arm and wouldn't be able to function this well without access to painkillers of some sort.

The male offered a slight nod in response to this.

"Alright. Then rest." Logan replied, slightly turning to the side to glance at the animatronics. Sun offered an awkward wave, an equally awkward smile on his face as he did so. Moon simply sat there, staring.

No words were spoken to the animatronics, though some level of eye contact was maintained with them.

"I'll take your car to the mechanic. And I'll do a grocery run on the way back. You, meanwhile, are going to get your ass to bed and rest. I'm sure the animatronics can keep the place sorted for the time being… Right?" He effectively commanded, finishing up his little speech with a sort of threatening inquiry.

While he was definitely directing that inquiry at Ayala, the fact that he was maintaining steady eye contact with Moon did nothing to reduce the stress of the situation.

The nighttime attendant responded to his seemingly suspicious gaze with a glare.

"Please, they're not decorations. I had some specifications outside of appearances when I had them built. Bare minimum they can clean and offer medical care. And Moon should have been given a bedtime protocol to get my sleep schedule on track." Ayala replied, again attempting to be honest. Thus far she hadn't described the animatronics as being able to do anything that she didn't think they were able to do. Her knowledge of them from her experiences with Fazbear definitely helped.

"What else can they do?" Logan questioned, this time sounding genuinely curious. He had looked away from Moon by the time that he decided to ask this question.

"More than I care to discuss…" Ayala responded, only to scowl somewhat when she took note of Logan giving her a suspicious look.
"Alright, fine. I'm not sure what all they can do. I put in a lot of special requests and haven't had the chance to find out which of them were met." She stated. This response seemed to appeal to the man. Mostly because it was a more direct and believable answer. Seemingly satisfied, the male turned towards the door.

"Alright then. Get to bed. Don't even think about working until the swelling has gone down. I'll be back with groceries in a few hours." Logan instructed, heading for the door. He trusted that the animatronics would do their jobs and assure that their master was well looked after.

Once he had made his way outside, there followed a long silence. Neither Sun or Moon were intent on speaking until after he had left. Ergo they refused to utter a single word until their sensors no longer detected his presence.

At which point, Moon seemed to be the one most intent on voicing his complaints.

"He knew you were lying." Moon commented bluntly, sounding more annoyed than anything else. Ayala simply offered another half shrug, starting towards the stairs to go back to bed.

"About how I got hurt, yes. But he believes you're the animatronics I planned to order a while back. So unless Fazbear puts out an alert, we should be in the clear." Ayala replied, carefully making her way past Moon as she started up the stairs. She was going to lay down. Not to sleep, but to just rest in general. The day had been exhausting thus far and due to the pain she was in. She just wanted to veg out a bit.

Sun tentatively began to follow after her.

"Uhm… Ayala?…" Sun called out, rather quietly as he crept his way up the stairs. The woman paused atop the stairs to glance down at him, humming as she did so.
"I just… I wanted to say thank you. For… For all of this." He murmured, genuinely wanting to thank her for being so willing to be of help.

She was willing to overlook the attack from the night before. She was willing to lie to her friend to make sure they had a safe place to stay. She had allowed them into her home. For as stressful as the whole ordeal had been, he was incredibly relieved.

He and Moon had gotten lucky and found a home.

Hopefully soon they would begin to feel safe.

"Don't worry about it." Ayala replied calmly, before starting towards her room.

Moon silently watched as his brother followed after her, well aware of what Sun's intentions were.

The daytime attendant was a proper caretaker. Having already been allowed to bandage the woman's injuries earlier, he would undoubtedly seek to provide her with additional care. Unless flat out refused, he would more or less act as a personal nurse until she was well enough to tend to herself. At which point Sun would still try and go out of his way to be helpful.

Moon, on the other hand, began to survey his surroundings. He was expected to earn his keep. Surely there was something that he could do to further tidy up the house.

There was a broken suitcase on the floor. The inside of it was a proper mess. That seemed as good a place as any to start.
