Futaba and Yuuki's Travel Day
(Note: This fanfic is based on the Louie episode 'Travel Day' and the Rocko's Modern Life episode 'Jet Scream'. I do not own Persona 5, Louie, or Rocko's Modern Life, all credit goes to Atlus, FX, and Nickelodeon. Enjoy!)
Today was a big day for Futaba Sakura and Yuuki Yuuki. That was because the two of them were going to set off on their own and go to 'Manga-Con' in New York City. Yuuki's parents knew how badly he wanted to go, so for a graduation present, he gave him two tickets to the event, one for him and one for a friend of his choosing. And that friend just so happened to be his girlfriend Futaba. When Yuuki invited Futaba along for the trip, words couldn't even describe how ecstatic she was knowing that she was going to Manga-Con, one of the biggest conventions of all time.
The two of them spent weeks planning for the big trip, until the day of their departure finally arrived.
As soon as Yuuki woke up, he brushed his teeth, got dressed, grabbed his neon green suitcase and passport, said goodbye to his parents, and ran out the door to go get Futaba.
When Yuuki made it to the Sakura Residence, he saw Futaba at the front door with Sojiro. Futaba had her neon pink suitcase next to her and her passport in his hands. As he approached the man and his adopted daughter, he heard Sojiro giving her instructions.
"Don't forget to call often so I know that you're safe," Sojiro said, slightly worried, "Keep your wits about you, pay attention to your surroundings, don't take anything from strangers, look both ways before crossing the streets, and…"
"Sojiro, don't worry, I'll be fine," Futaba said.
"I know," Sojiro sighed, "I just get nervous when you go out to a faraway place by yourself."
"But I won't be by myself, I'll have Yuuki," Futaba smiled just as Yuuki approached them, "Speak of the devil."
"Hey, guys," Yuuki greeted before looking over at Futaba, "Ready to go, sweetie?"
"You bet!" Futaba said excitedly.
"Well, you kids have fun," Sojiro said, "Take good care of Futaba, Yuuki."
"You can count on me, sir," Yuuki said as he gave a thumbs up.
Sojiro went back inside the house as Futaba and Yuuki, with their luggage and passports in hand walked up to the street corner.
"So how are we getting to the airport?" Futaba asked.
"We'll take a taxi," Yuuki answered just as two taxis were seen driving down the street, "Look there's some now."
Yuuki whistled and waved his hand, in hopes of catching one of the taxi driver's attention. But to both his and Futaba's surprise, both taxi cabs came up to them. Both drivers came out of their taxis, one driver was skinny and the other was fat. The skinny driver hurried over to Futaba and Yuuki's luggage and put them in his taxi. As he did, however, the skinny and fat taxi drivers started arguing with each other in a language that Futaba and Yuuki dare not try and attempt to understand. They just looked at each other perplexed as the two drivers argued.
"So which taxi do we get in?" Futaba asked, confused.
"That one has our luggage in it, so I guess that one?" Yuuki responded, equally confused.
The skinny taxi driver, while still arguing with the fat one, opened up the passenger door for Futaba and Yuuki to get inside. As the couple entered the taxi however, the fat taxi driver reached into his pocket and pulled out some brass knuckles, causing the skinny taxi driver to reach into his taxi to take out a crowbar. The fat taxi driver backed up as the skinny one went over to the fat guys' taxi and smashed one of its windows. Futaba and Yuuki were still watching this scene unfold and they weren't sure what to make of it. After smashing the fat driver's window, the skinny driver ran back to his own taxi, got in the driver's seat, and sped off as the fat driver yelled after them. Futaba and Yuuki stared at the fat driver from the rear window.
"What the heck was that about?" Futaba asked.
"Don't worry about it, little girl," The skinny driver said with a Russian accent, "Bossman offered huge bonus at the end of week for driver who can get most passengers. That palooka and I are neck and neck, and I need that money badly, you know. I've got kids to put through school, a wife that keeps eating, and a nagging mother in-law."
"That's rough, buddy," Yuuki said.
"You don't know half of it, brother," The skinny driver said, "So where am I taking you on this fine day?"
"Airport, please," Futaba answered.
"You got it," The skinny driver said.
It was under abnormal circumstances, but Futaba and Yuuki secured a ride to the airport. They just hoped that the altercation between the two drivers wasn't a bad omen of things to come.
When the couple arrived at the airport, Yuuki paid the taxi driver for the ride and he and Futaba entered the airport with their luggage and passports in hand. Upon entering the airport, they went up to the receptionist for Spectre Airlines (Spirit Airlines) so they could purchase their plane tickets.
"Good morning, thank you for choosing Spectre Airlines, how can I help you today?" The receptionist asked.
"We're going to New York City on the 10 A-M flight, and we need two tickets," Yuuki explained.
"I'll need to see some passports, please," The receptionist said.
Futaba and Yuuki showed the receptionist their passports and she entered their information into her computer. When all of the information was typed in, the couple's tickets got printed out and the receptionist handed them over.
"Here are your tickets," The receptionist said as the couple took the tickets, "Your flight will be leaving out of Gate 42."
"Thanks, miss," Yuuki said as he took his ticket and gave Futaba hers.
"One quick question before we leave," Futaba said, "Is our flight going to be on time?"
"Let me see," The receptionist said as she looked in her computer, "It says here that your flight has been canceled."
Hearing that made Futaba and Yuuki's jaws drop in a mixture of shock, confusion, and awe.
"Uh, what do you mean our flight got canceled?" Yuuki asked.
"Yeah, you just gave us a seat on it," Futaba chimed in.
"Well that was before it was canceled," The receptionist said.
"What was it canceled five seconds ago?" Futaba questioned.
Sure enough, the receptionist looked at her computer and gave her response, "Yes, it says here that it was coming from Mumbai and it crashed."
"It crashed!?" Futaba and Yuuki exclaimed in a mixture of shock and sorrow. Even if they were peeved that their flight was canceled immediately after buying their tickets, they still couldn't help but think of the poor unfortunate souls who were onboard the plane when it crashed.
"How bad was it?" Yuuki asked, "Were there any survivors?"
Once again, the receptionist looked at her computer for information, "It says here that everybody died, except for a puppy."
"Is that puppy going to be okay?" Futaba asked sadly.
"I don't know, stuff like that is out of my purview," The receptionist said looking at Futaba and Mishimia, who looked as though their last bit of innocence was stripped away from them. The receptionist quickly changed the subject, "I can fit you two on the 11:30 A-M flight."
"Sure, whatever works," Yuuki said as he and Futaba handed their original tickets back to the receptionist so she could rip them up and give them brand new tickets for the next flight to New York.
"There's a layover in Lisbon, Portugal so you'll be stopping there for a while before you take a connecting flight to New York," The receptionist said as she handed Futaba and Yuuki their new tickets.
"Great, thanks," Futaba said.
"Now I'll just take your bags so we can get them on the plane when it arrives," The receptionist said as Futaba and Yuuki handed her their suitcases.
"Be careful, our Funtendo Switches are in there," Futaba warned.
"Don't worry, miss," The receptionist said, "You're in the loving arms of Spectre Airlines. I assure you that nothing bad will happen to your luggage."
"I hope you're right," Futaba said.
"Come on, Futaba," Yuuki said, "Let's get to our gate."
Yuuki and Futaba left the receptionist with their suitcases, and as soon as they were out of her sight, she carelessly tossed them onto a conveyor belt where it was taken to a separate room. In that room were some airport workers that smashed, cut up, rummaged through, and burned up their suitcases until they were unrecognizable. At the end of the conveyor belt, another worker placed two stickers for places that weren't New York City. Futaba's suitcase was going to Juneau, Alaska while Yuuki's was going to Abu Dhabi. The worker then took the damaged suitcases, loaded them up into a canon, and fired them into outer space.
"Yup, all in a day's work," The worker said proudly as he watched the two suitcases fly away.
Back inside the airport, Futaba and Yuuki made it to the metal detector. They removed their shoes and anything from their pockets before stepping through. When they received the 'all clear' they slipped their shoes back on and grabbed their belongings before continuing on their merry way.
"Well that was easy," Futaba said.
"The whole taxi driver fight and plane crash news were just two minor setbacks," Yuuki said, "Surely the rest of our trip will be smooth sailing."
The couple followed the signs that lead to Gate 42. When they finally made it to their assigned gate, they spent the next couple of minutes looking out the window and watching the planes take off. After a while, they saw their plane pull up to the gate and the airport workers loading some luggage onto it.
"There's our plane!" Futaba exclaimed as she looked over at her boyfriend, who appeared to be troubled about something, "What's wrong babe?"
"I'm looking at the pile of luggage, but I don't see our bags," Yuuki said, "We bought neon colored bags so they'd be easy to spot. I hope they didn't lose them."
"I'm sure they're somewhere in there," Futaba said.
A brief cutaway shows that Futaba and Yuuki's luggage is currently floating in the endless void of deep space after being shot out of a cannon.
"Come on, let's go get something to eat while we wait," Futaba said as she took Yuuki by the hand and dragged him away from the window.
Futaba and Yuuki went to the airport's food court and grabbed themselves some croissants. When they got their food, the couple went back to their gate and started to nibble away and converse about everything they want to do when they get to New York. Sure, most of their time will be spent at Manga-Con, but New York City is a bustling metropolis with tons to do. They'd have to be complete fools to not do a little site seeing when they get there.
As time passed, more passengers started to arrive and it was almost time to board the plane. When the time finally came to board, an announcement was heard over the PA system.
"Now boarding: Spectre Airlines Flight 024 to New York City with layover in Lisbon," The announcement said.
Hearing that made those who were waiting at the gate get up from their seats and get in line so they could board the plane. Futaba and Yuuki wound up at the back of the line as they were waiting for so long that the couple ended up falling asleep, only being woken up when one of the other passengers getting onboard noticed them and called over to them.
Futaba and Yuuki showed their tickets to the airport worker at the gate, and he let them on board. Upon boarding the plane, they were met with the luxurious atmosphere of first class. It looked like something out of a beautiful dream. The seats appeared to be made of the most comfortable materials, the food offered was beautifully prepared, the televisions had pictures of the highest quality, and the overall mood was very pleasant.
"Wow, first class!" Futaba said in amazement, "Isn't this great, Yuuki?"
"It sure is, Futaba," Yuuki said, "But we're flying coach. It's this way."
Futaba followed her boyfriend through first class to the door leading to coach class. When they pulled the curtain back, they saw that coach was, naturally, nowhere near as luxurious as first class. The seats didn't look anywhere nearly as comfortable, everyone was packed like sardines in the seats, there were no televisions at all, only radios built into the seats so passengers could listen to music, and perhaps the most bizarre thing of all, in the middle of the aisle were two chickens in the middle of a cockfight.
"Welcome to coach," A stewardess greeted the couple.
"More like steerage," Futaba muttered.
Futaba and Yuuki walked down the aisle, making sure to avoid the cockfight, and found their seats.
"You want the seat closest to the aisle, Futaba?" Yuuki asked, "There's more leg room."
"You're taller than me, babe," Futaba said, "If anyone needs the leg room it's you. I'll take the window seat."
With the seating arrangements made, Futaba and Yuuki sat down and waited for the plane to take off.
"Is there anything I can get you two before we take off?" The stewardess asked.
"I'm feeling a little thirsty, actually," Futaba said, "Can I get a glass of water, please?"
"Right away, miss," The stewardess said.
The stewardess left and returned a few moments later with a tiny thimble full of water and handed it to the orange haired gamer girl, who took it and looked at it unamused.
"Seriously," Futaba frowned.
After another few minutes of waiting, the plane's captain made an announcement over the PA system.
"Uh, ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking." The captain began, "Welcome aboard Spectre Airlines Flight 024 to New York City with layover in Lisbon, Portugal. Uh, we're going to have a slight delay due to, er, weather in Lisbon. Something about a hurricane….tornado…uh, perfect storm. In addition we have a few maintenance issues. Something about a broken wing and…uh, something about the safety related part of the plane. Also, I have a tendency to black out at higher elevations, but I'll be sure not to let that affect my performance today. We'll be on our way in a few minutes. Thanks for flying with us, buckle up, and enjoy the ride."
"Please tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't feel safe," Yuuki said nervously.
"Nope, it's not just you," Futaba said, sounding just as nervous.
"Take my hand," Yuuki said as Futaba held his hand, "If anything goes wrong during take off, at least we have each other."
The captain drove the plane to the runway before picking up speed and taking off. The take off went without a hitch, and Futaba and Yuuki felt like they could relax again.
And so begins a very long flight…
A few hours into the flight, Futaba was sitting in her seat playing her Funtendo 4DS. After getting a Game Over on the game she was playing she put it away and looked behind her to see a couple walk out of the bathroom together. Seeing this gave her an idea that could make the flight more enjoyable for both her and Yuuki.
"Hey, Yuuki," Futaba asked her boyfriend, "You want to join the Mile High Club with me?"
When Futaba didn't get a response, she looked at Yuuki to see that he was looking a little woozy.
"Babe, are you alright?" Futaba asked worriedly.
"Urk, don't sweat it, babe," Yuuki said, "Just a little air sick."
Futaba looked above her and Yuuki to see a series of buttons.
"One of these must call a doctor or something," Futaba said as she pushed one button, but that activated a heater. She looked next to her to see Yuuki sweating up a storm.
"So hot," Yuuki whined.
Futaba pushed another button, but this one turned on the A/C, causing Yuuki to start shivering.
"T-t-too…c-c-cold…" Yuuki said, his teeth chattering.
"Okay, third time's the charm," Futaba said, "How about this one."
As she pushed a third button, we cut to the cockpit of the plane where a stewardess is about to deliver some coffee to the pilot and his co-pilot, but before she could even get to them, a springpad activates from beneath her, sending her flying through the ceiling and out of the plane. The button that Futaba pressed, was for a random springpad in the cockpit.
Speaking of which, Futaba and Yuuki were waiting for something to happen to them after she pushed the button, but were relieved with nothing happened.
"Hmm, that button must be broken," Futaba said as the stewardess whizzed passed her window, completely unaware.
About an hour later, Yuuki's air sickness subsided. Lucky thing too, because dinner was about to be served. Stewards and stewardesses walked by with cartfuls of delicious food; steak, ham, lobster, turkey. The scent of these delectable meals wafted over to Futaba and Yuuki's nostrils, wrapping itself around their brains and making their mouths water.
"Oh, I can't wait!" Futaba said, salivating.
"I know, I'm starving!" Yuuki replied.
"Dinner is served!" A stewardess said.
In anticipation for a great meal, Futaba and Yuuki put on bibs and grabbed themselves a fork and knife. They were ready for one of the best dinners they'd ever have…but instead, the stewardess put down a lone peanut on both of their trays before walking away. The couple stared at their peanuts in disappointment.
"What gives," pouted Futaba, "I thought we were getting some lobster, or turkey legs, or a couple slices of ham!"
"In a perfect world we'd get some of that food," came the voice of one of the passengers who overheard the orange haired girl's complaints, "But that food is meant specifically for those spoiled brats in first class. If you really want what they have, why don't you run in and take it? Good luck getting in there though."
Futaba watched as the stewardess walked into first class. She saw the stewardess push a button that created an electrified forcefield around the door, preventing anyone in coach class from getting in. Nonetheless, she decided to chance it.
"A girl cannot simply live on peanuts alone," Futaba said as she stood up, "I'm going to make a break for first class!"
"Futaba, wait!" Yuuki shouted as his girlfriend ran down the aisle. He watched as she approached the door…only for the forcefield to not have any affect on her. She made it into first class unscathed.
Amazed and inspired, Yuuki got up from his seat to try his luck. He ran down the aisle, but when he got to the electrified barrier
ZAAAAAAAP!
"YYOOOOOOWWWWWW!" Yuuki screamed as he got badly electrocuted.
Defeated, Yuuki went back to his seat and stared at his lone peanut.
"Well, it's better than nothing I guess," Yuuki frowned.
He was about to reach for his peanut, but unfortunately for him the seat in front of him belonged to a bratty kid, and his tray was attached to that seat. So everytime Yuuki was about to reach for his peanut, the kid would move his chair, and Yuuki's tray with it, causing him to miss grabbing the peanut every time.
Eventually, the kid moved his chair so much that Yuuki's peanut rolled onto the floor. When the young blue haired man went to pick it up, the brat repeatedly reclined his chair, hitting Yuuki in the head over and over again.
Sometime later, Yuuki had to use the bathroom, but everytime he tried to get up and go to the back of the plane where the lavatory is located, someone, usually a steward or stewardess, would get in his way. So many times Yuuki got up from his seat and made his way to the back of the plane, only to have to move out of the way or sometimes go back to where he started, just because someone was in his path. There was eventually a brief moment when nobody had to get up and the aisle was clear, so Yuuki got up and ran to the back of the plane…only to come face to face with a long line of passengers who also had to use the bathroom.
Yuuki waited for what felt like hours, and as the seconds ticked by his bladder got tighter and tighter. He looked next to him to see a steward squirting lemonade from a hose into a glass for one of the passengers. Seeing the yellow liquid pour out made holding onto his '#1' that much harder for Yuuki. At long last, Yuuki was next in line and the person who went in before him finally came out.
"Alright, mate, it's all yours," The passenger said.
"Thank you! Thank you so much!" Yuuki exclaimed as he ran into the bathroom and did his business, letting out a relaxed sigh as he did so.
When he finished doing his business, Yuuki washed his hands in the sink and took some paper towels to dry his hands before discarding them into the toilet. Unfortunately for him, he threw them in there before he noticed a sign that read 'Please don't throw paper towels in the toilet.'
Already having done the deed, Yuuki just shrugged his shoulders and asked himself, "What's the worst that can happen?"
Yuuki pushed the flush button, and all of the sudden, out of nowhere, the plane started going down! Yuuki started freaking out as outside the lavatory he heard the shocked screams of the passengers. The blue haired man looked inside the toilet to see the paper towels he threw in. He reached in, got the wet clump of paper towels out, and just like that the plane stopped going down and it continued flying.
"Phew," went Yuuki as he threw the paper towels in a trash can, "I hope no one knows it was me who almost killed us all."
Yuuki exited the bathroom, and he was immediately met with hateful glares from the stewards, stewardesses, and other passengers. Embarrassed, Yuuki went back to his seat and decided to listen to music. His intention was to find the 'jazz music' channel so he could get some shut-eye. He scrolled through the different music channels, classical, funk, rock, J-pop, until he eventually found the jazz channel. With a smile, Yuuki closed his eyes as he listened to the soothing melody of 'Benny C' (Kenny G).
Unfortunately for him, the bratty child from earlier, who was currently running up and down the aisle, saw Yuuki trying to sleep. Without him knowing, the brat stealthily turned up the volume and switched the channel to the next channel over…which was the heavy metal channel. Yuuki woke up with a start as the sound of metal guitars and screeching vocals assaulted his ear drums. He saw the brat run away laughing and he knew it was him who changed the channel.
"That is the last straw!" Yuuki thought to himself angrily.
As the brat continued running up and down the aisle, the next time he passed by Yuuki, the blue haired man grabbed the brat by the color of his shirt. When he did that, he opened the overhead compartment and stuffed the brat inside before closing the door. Seeing that made all of the other passengers look in Yuuki's direction…and then they started cheering and applauding him for putting the rambunctious rascal in his place.
When the cheering died down, that was when Futaba came back from First Class. She appeared to be wearing different clothes as opposed to her usual attire. She was wearing a red cone shaped party hat, a green and orange floral shirt, and a pair of shutter shades that rappers wear. Futaba was also carrying a giant stuffed tiger under her left arm, and a doggie bag in her right hand. Yuuki was just glad to see his girlfriend again as she approached him.
"Futaba, you're back!" Yuuki gleefully exclaimed, "How was first class?"
"It was so awesome," Futaba smiled, "They show movies that are still in theaters, they have gourmet cooking, and I won the First Class Bingo Tournament! Hence why I have this giant stuffed tiger with me."
"Well I'm glad you had fun," Yuuki said.
"Don't worry, babe, I made sure to bring you back some food from first class," Futaba said as she presented her boyfriend with the doggie bag.
Yuuki looked inside the bag to see that there were slices of ham and a turkey leg inside, and he was immediately beaming.
"Babe, you are a life saver!" Yuuki exclaimed as he took out the turkey leg and started to ravenously eat it.
"You've got a good one, boy," A passenger said, overhearing their conversation, "Make sure you hold onto her and never let go."
"I'll never let her go," Yuuki said, his mouth full of food.
As Yuuki continued eating, however, the plane shook a little bit, meaning they were coming into some turbulence. Almost immediately the 'Fasten Your Seatbelts' sign starts glowing, and everyone does just that as another rough patch of turbulence shakes the plane. Futaba looks out her window to see some storm clouds approaching, and not long after that the captain of the plane made an announcement over the PA.
"Uh, ladies and gentlemen, we're hitting a rough patch of turbulence here." The captain said, "Uh, there's a storm system over Lisbon and it's going to be pretty rough going as we pull through it. For your own safety please keep your seat belts fastened. Nothing to worry about though we'll have you on the ground in a few minutes. God have mercy on all our souls."
That last part of the captain's speech made Futaba and Yuuki's eyes widen in horror.
"What does he mean by that?" Yuuki asked, resisting the urge to freak out.
"Flight attendants, please prepare for landing," The captain concluded.
There was a brief moment of silence as everyone wondered what was going to happen next, when suddenly the captain came over the speakers again.
"Ladies and gentlemen," The captain began as another rougher patch of turbulence cut him off, "Never mind folks, I uh…uh…oh man…"
The captain stops speaking as a loud whooshing noise is heard outside, meaning they were heading right through the storm. Another bit of turbulence shakes the plane, scaring the passengers, especially Futaba and Yuuki.
"You think we're going to die right now?" Futaba said, sounding more afraid than she's ever been in her entire life.
"I don't know," Yuuki said, sounding equally afraid, "But like with take off, just hold my hand and don't let go."
"I love you, Yuuki," Futaba said, holding her boyfriend's hand tight.
Another rough patch of turbulence rocks the plane, and in the seat behind Futaba and Yuuki, a lady starts freaking out as if she came face-to-face with an ax murderer.
"Oh no!" The lady cried, "Jesus! God, no! Help me, Jesus! Jesus, God, no!"
"Those are usually the things people shout when they're about to die," Futaba confided in Yuuki.
As the turbulence got worse, the captain's voice came once again through the speakers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, there's no need to panic," the captain said, "We'll be out of this storm in no time."
As soon as he said that, the crackling of thunder was heard and both wings were struck by lightning, causing the engines to stop working.
"Okay…start panicking," The captain said.
The plane started to go down fast, causing the plane to shake worse than it had moments before. The plane plummeted to the ground faster and faster as alarms started going off and everyone started screaming for their lives. The crash landing was especially rough on Futaba and Yuuki. As the plane shook ferociously, the vibrations were having an effect on the blue haired man's 'boys'.
"OW! OW SHIT! MY BALLS! MY COCK! MY COCK AND MY BALLS!" Yuuki screamed in fear and pain.
In lady in the seat behind them was freaking out so much, that she leapt over to Futaba and started pulling on her hair.
"STOP IT! STOP IT WHORE!" Futaba cried.
As everyone was freaking out, thinking that these would be their last moments on Planet Earth, they failed to notice the strangest thing of all; one of the stewardesses calmly standing in the doorway between coach and first class.
"We have begun our final descent," The stewardess calmly said, as if the plane wasn't going down, "Please place your seats and tray tables in the locked and upright position."
At this point the plane was falling out of the sky at the same speed a bullet would be shot out of a gun. The falling plane made it out of the storm system and the Humberto Delgado Airport was in view. On the ground, airport workers were getting prepared for the plane's crash landing. Within seconds the plane made contact with the ground and it skidded a great distance on the runway before finally coming to a complete stop. The wild ride was finally over, and inside the plane, the passengers, with hearts still pounding out of their chests and looking like they went through hell and back, looked over at the stewardess who was still standing in the doorway between coach and first class.
"Thank you for flying Spectre Airlines," The stewardess said with a smile, "Please remain seated until the captain turns off the 'Fas-"
The passengers weren't having any of that nonsense. They immediately got up from their seats and trampled the stewardess as they made their way to the emergency exit. Upon opening the exit doors, the inflatable slides rolled out and the passengers exited the crashed plane. Last to leave was Futaba and Yuuki, who were smart enough to wait for the stampede to subside so they don't get trampled. The couple exited the plane and are now standing on the tarmac, still processing the crazy events that unfolded.
"That was scarier than any roller coaster I've ever been on," Yuuki said.
"I'm surprised you didn't puke," Futaba said.
"Yuukis are known for having strong stomachs," Yuuki boasted before looking around, "So, this is Lisbon, Portu-"
Yuuki got cut off as he felt something come up from the pit of his stomach. He bent over and started vomiting right there on the tarmac as Futaba watched.
"Yup, there it is," Futaba said as she walked up to her boyfriend and rubbed his back as he continued throwing up, "You're going to be okay, sweetie, we're on the ground now."
A few moments later, when Yuuki's stomach finally calmed down, he was seen inside the airport standing near the baggage carousel, waiting for his and Futaba's bags. Speaking of Futaba, she's seen approaching her boyfriend, holding a bottle of ginger ale for him.
"Here," Futaba handed her boyfriend the ginger ale, "In case your stomach is still turning."
"Thanks," Yuuki said as he started to sip on it.
"So what's going on here?"Futaba asked.
"Just waiting for our bags," Yuuki said, "I wonder where they are?"
A cutaway shows that Futaba and Yuuki's luggage has landed on a distant planet. The aliens of that planet are seen going through it. One is playing with Futaba's Funtendo switch. A second alien is playing with Yuuki's camera. A third one is wearing Futaba's shimapan panties on its head, thinking its some kind of hat.
"I'm starting to think they lost our luggage," Yuuki pouted.
"Why are you even by the baggage carousel anyway?" Futaba asked, "Aren't we still taking the connecting flight to New York?"
"No more flying for me, babe," Yuuki said, still somewhat traumatized from the flight, "I'm taking the next boat there, though."
"Alright, I guess I'll see you there, then?" Futaba asked.
"Yeah," Yuuki answered.
"Alright, catch you later, babe," Futaba said as she gave Yuuki a peck on the cheek before heading off to catch her flight.
Sometime later, a cruise ship is seen leaving a harbor. This is the ship Yuuki is taking to New York. The blue haired man is seen sitting on a chair by the pool, with sunglasses on his face that he brought back at the airport. He lets out a content sigh as he stares up at the sky.
"Now this is how you travel in style," Yuuki said, "No rough turbulence, no crappy food, no bratty children, no bumbling captains. Absolutely perfect!"
As soon as he said that, a bratty child holding an ice cream sundae was seen running by, laughing and hollering all the while. The brat sees Yuuki and he randomly throws the frozen treat at him before running off.
"Well, it could be worse," Yuuki said.
And as if on cue, the voice of the captain was heard over the speaker. And it sounded just like the voice of the captain on the plane.
"Uh, ladies and gentlemen, uh, this is your captain speaking," The captain said, making Yuuki's heart sink, "Knowing where the lifeboats and life vests are are very important for, uh, a safe cruise ship experience, uh…"
"Well, here we go again!" Yuuki said as he prepared for a long voyage to New York.
THE END
