Chapter 4: Escape from Ting Song:
Mythia's POV:
We were still caged by Ting Song. Her guards were sleeping. This was our chance to escape. We then shrank ourselves and snuck out.
"We have to get Tillota too," says Allium.
"No, you have to keep Golden Sun safe," says Tillota.
We then ran.
Singer/Chorus: Look out new world here we come
Brave, intrepid and then some
Pioneers of maximum
Audacity whose resumes
Show that we are just the team
To live where others merely dream
Building up a head of steam
On the trail we blaze
Changing legend into fact
We shall ride into history
Turning myth into truth
We shall surely gaze
On the sweet unfolding
Of an antique mystery
All will be revealed
On the trail we blaze
Paradise is close at hand
Shangri-la the promised land
Seventh heaven on demand
Quite unusual nowadays
Virgin vistas, undefiled
Minds and bodies running wild
In the man behold the child
On the trail we blaze
The trail we blaze
Is a road uncharted
Through terra incognita to a golden shrine
No place for the traveler
To be faint-hearted
We are part of the sumptuous grand design
Changing legend into fact
We shall ride into history
Turning myth into truth
We shall surely gaze on the sweet unfolding
Of an antique mystery
All will be revealed
On the trail we blaze
On the trail we blaze!
Golden Sun's POV:
I was dusting.
"Something bothering you?" asked Bramlik.
"Well, I began..."
"Thirulim isn't an easy person," says Bramlik, "but you might start to grow on him eventually. We're all still growing."
Thirulim's POV:
I was in the woods when I saw a bird with gold wings. It was trying to tell me something. I looked and saw a manticore coming. I had to warn the others.
Golden Sun's POV:
Thirulim then came racing towards us with a gold winged falcon.
"A manticore's coming," says Thirulim.
We then saw the manticore and we started running. The Manticore was about to grab me as we ran, but Thirulim pushed me out of the way, and the manticore grabbed him instead.
"Thirulim," I said.
"Keep running," he said, "and don't stop! Don't let the Demon get you!"
Mythia's POV:
As we were flying, we saw the manticore carry something. It was a dwarf.
"Is that a dwarf?" asked Daybreak.
"Well, it's not a goblin," says Buttercup.
"We should help him," says Moonbeam.
Buttercup then zaps the manticore, causing the dwarf to fall to the ground. We then flew to make sure he's okay.
. . .
We found the dwarf and he started to wake up.
"Mr. Dwarf," I said, "are you alright?"
"I'm a muskrat!" The dwarf then falls to the ground.
"I think I hurt him," says Buttercup.
Golden Sun's POV:
We were running when some of Ting Song's monsters showed up. They were about to attack us, but then someone took them down. He was a slender young man of sixteen years of age with fair skin, light brown hair, and I think he had blue eyes. He wore a light blue shirt underneath a green vest with two tattered tears at the bottom-front and a brownish-maroon belt with a gold round buckle around his waist, grey pants, brownish-maroon boots, and carried a brown wooden staff for some reason.
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, Golden Sun and the Dwarves ask for Garrett's help.
