Chapter 5: The Immortal:

Odette's POV:

We were examining the bird.

"Maybe it's working for Hsi Wu," suggests Lila, "I mean he is a sky demon."

Then the bird wakes up and Ivan knocks him out. "He surprised me," says Ivan.

I then removed the arrow from the bird's wing and bandaged it. The bird then wakes up and was prepared to fight.

"Wait," I said, "we're your friends."

"Then why are you holding an arrow that looks like the arrow... that is no longer in my wing... maybe you are my friends." The bird then bows. "I am forever in your debt. I am Puffin, Lt. Puffin."

"I still don't trust him," says Lila, "it's too random."

"I assure you; I am willing to repay the debt of whoever saved my birdy bacon."

"I'm Odette, this is Lorenzo Trudgealong..."

"Friends call me Speed."

"Lila, Ivan, Carlita, and Jean-Bob."

"I hahve no friends, only servahnts ahnd zey cahll me your highness."

"He thinks he's a prince," says Speed.

"So... you all live here," asks Puffin.

"More like forced," says Carlita, "Odette's being held prisoner by a demon."

"You mean as in an actual demon," asks Puffin.

Then the land started to change.

"Your knight in shining armor has come," says Hsi Wu wearing his demonic armor, "I have one question for you. Will you marry me?"

"Every day you ask that," I said, "and every day I give you the same answer, I would rather die first."

"You're making a big mistake," says Hsi Wu, "because that might just happen. But in the meantime,..." The Moon then sets, and I turn into a swan. Hsi Wu then laughs.

Albrecht's POV:

My name is Albrecht and I'm locked in a dungeon. It's really boring.

Albrecht: Well, it seems like I'm caught up in your trap again
And it seems like I'll be wearin' the same ol' chains
Good will conquer evil and the truth will set you free
Then I know someday I'll find the key
Then I know somewhere I'll find the key
Well, it seems like I've been playin' the game way too long
And it seems the game I played has made you strong
Well, when the game is over, I won't walk out a loser
And I know that I'll walk out of here again
And I know that someday I'll walk out of here again

But now I'm trapped, oh yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah!

Now it seems like I've been sleepin' in your bed too long
And it seems like you've been meanin' to do me harm
But I'll teach my eyes to see beyond these walls in front of me
And someday I'll walk out of here again
Yeah, I know someday I'll walk out of here again

Well, it seems like I've been playin' the game way too long
And it seems the game I played has made you strong

Because I'm trapped, oh yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah!

I'm trapped, oh yeah yeah!
Trapped, oh yeah yeah
Trapped, oh yeahhhhhh
Trapped, oh yeahhhhhh
I'm trapped!

"Sounds like you have seen better days," says a strange voice.

"Who's there," I asked.

"I am Han Xiangzi and I have come for the demon."

"And how do you plan to beat him," I asked.

"With the right spell," says Han.

"So, you're a wizard then," I asked.

"In a sense and I believe you could help, but first, tell me, what did you do to become the Demon's prisoner."

"It's... a little awkward," I said.

"I can handle it," says Han.

"He wants to marry me."

"That... is awkward. Well, I really should get you out then and you can help me find what I need."

"Deal."

Han then frees me, and we went our way.

Odette's POV:

"So, you can only be human again when the Moon is full," asks Puffin.

"And I don't even know how to break the spell," I said.

"There is a library that might have the answers," says Lila, "but it's being guarded by a troll."

"Then we shall face this troll," says Puffin.

"What," asks Jean-Bob.

To Be Continued

In the next chapter, Odette looks for the troll.
