Location: Hexocliff: Broken room. Zombies below, Ereapermon above. Good luck.

Bellum roared loudly still charging at Tomoki every chance he got; It would use it's tails to whip at him while attempting to squish him beneath its hooves when the ground formed below it. Tomoki constantly used his Jetpack to jump forward and fly forward when he could. Stray Ereapermon would fly towards him only to be shot down by Cain with his morphed Shiv Gun. Cain, as Beretdramon, covered Tomoki from the sky. Tridramon and Captain (Cain's partner Darkdramon X) slowed down Bellum shooting ice and lead toward it's feet.

Bellum yelled, "The end is neigh! Prepare to die!"

It charged it's body with seething viral power, this time focusing on the tamer's barrier for it's next attack. Tomoki noticed this, "Tridramon! Turn him fast!"

Tridramon tackles him from the side attempting to turn his head, but it was a trick. Bellum rears up just as Tridramon starts to pass him, then SLAM! CRUNCH! CRACK! Tridramon is crushed under his enormous hooves. Tridramon roars in pain, "RAAAAAAAH!" His back machinery breaks but he drags himself free barely, now flying using his wings. Bellum opens its mouth towards Tridramon, "Seeking Gears!"

Flaming gears shoot towards Tridramon who can't dodge as fast without his machine back. Captain blasts himself towards Tridramon supporting him to fly. The gears still follow them at a moderate pace, Tridramon shoots them down one by one with his 'Jazard Missiles' from his arms. Bellum takes this moment to get close to Tomoki trying to bite down on him. Tomoki throws more of his freezing daggers down his throat at each miss. Bellum drops a few of his tendril tails that slither unnoticed by Tomoki while he's dodging his attacks. Cain calls out, "Tomoki! Tendrils!"

One of the Tendrils miss by a hair, Tomoki blasts upwards surrounded by several tendrils from the 'Pain o nine tails'.

While the battle between Bellum and Tomoki raged, the kids focused on defending their heal camp from the swarm of feral and berserker zombies that appeared in greater numbers attempting to break the barrier. Muskmon held off a good majority along with the rest of the D-Brigade. Coilydramon managed to create a secondary spikey plant barrier with the fragmented pieces of the gridded ground. It was enough to keep the quick ferals off of them since Coilydramon would use his vines to swing them away. Froggiemon inside of Soph13 blasted through the air space above them shooting Ereapermon down and barrel rolling through as many pillars as he could.

Yvette on Olefalkmon came back down to the heal camp with as much of the message as she could interpret at high speeds. Coilydramon made an opening for her to enter through. Milo, Ria and Second in command went up to meet her. Kayden remained laying down enjoying the sight of Muskmon kicking ass and cheering him on.

Second in Command, "State your business! What were you doing?"

Yvette glares at the second in command, Olefalkmon towers over him, "Zhe ist eine Madam! Don't be rude!"

Second in Command takes a deep breath as if trying to control his temper. Milo cuts in, "Hey! Yvette welcome back! Did you manage to hear anything?"

Yvette nods, "Da, English is not my first language. But I heard there will be a 5-minute window that the portal will open. I do not know where the window is."

Milo, "Uh, it's a figure of speech. Anything else?"

Yvette asks Olefalkmon, "You heard more than I did."

Olefalkmon closes his eyes to focus, "Eh, he zeed nicht kill… Don't kill the vinged monsters, zhe body feed the zombie. Zome, uh… zomething about ein mega? Mein apologie…"

Ria asks, "Are you ok? Your accent is getting heavier."

Olefalkmon de digivolves into Chicmon.

Chicmon, "Zleepy…"

Yvette holds Chicmon and pats him on the head, "You did good job, we flew around many times trying to hear. He did his best."

Ria nods, "Yea you did your best."

Second in command turns around, "Everyone here! Anakai is going to open the gateway! We need to drag it over here!"

The gateway is about a mile away from them surrounded by hordes of zombies starting to pile into something bigger.

Ria calls out to Froggiemon through her device, "Froggie! How many Reapers have fallen so far?"

Froggiemon, "Ribbit? Crooak…." He enters the symbol for 99 crashing into one accidentally that also falls below. Then switches the number to 100.

Suddenly the room starts to rumble, the zombies retreat into the massive mob below.

Muskmon shouts, "Yea! Run cowards! Har har har! See that Kayden?"

Kayden gives a thumbs up and looks up at the one Ereapermon just staying stationary high above them where Gaiomon disappeared into. Then looks back down at the zombies who start to form into an even larger monster zombie. Kayden calls out to Muskmon, "Careful! They are transforming!"

The Digimon who were once fighting zombies and Ereapers are left alone while all the zombies gather into one big monster zombie and the Ereapermon begin to form something of a swarm around it. Cain notices this, then sends a message to the D-Brigade "Formation around the tamers! Code Black tide!"

The D-Brigade and the other Digimon retreat around the barrier. Coilydramon speaks to Milo, "Zom-boi-dies-mon. Mega. Danger. Eat. Hu-mansss. Seen. Be-fore. Many. Gone. I. Live. I. Plant. You. Die. Stay. Safe. Friend." Coilydramon tightens the shield with thorns and vines as much as he can, almost blocking the view. The zombies have formed Zomboidiesmon who quickly zooms over to them and slams down on the barrier so fast the Digimon do not have a chance to react.

Muskmon uses his chain weights to try and break it's limbs off but they go straight through it as if it is avoiding his moves. The D brigade engage zomboidiesmon as well but, the swarm of Ereapermon start to pick them off in Hell mode ripping through their data like paper. Muskmon starts to get enraged, "RAH! You think you can just go straight for the goal huh bub!?"

Muskmon enters Rage Mode. Claws break out from his hands; his fuzz flares up and an overwhelming waft of must pours from all of his pores. The Ereapermon backs far away from this barrier of stench, but Muskmon isn't having any of it and starts wailing on everything that moves near him in blinding rage, ally or enemy. He keeps everything away from the barrier shredding things apart like a rabid badger. Zomboidiesmon however still had its fist on top the barrier which it oozes out zombies that Muskmon continuously destroys.

Froggiemon slows down the Ereapermon swarm with Slow bombs, causing corrosive sticky goop to cover their wings and feathers. They still swarmed but at a much more manageable rate for the D-brigade and other Digimon to dodge and handle without getting shredded. Kayden looks towards his father still fighting Bellum and Cain calling out orders, then up to the single Ereapermon above wondering where Gaiomon went and why.

Location: Within that specific Ereapermon.

Gaiomon wandered through the darkness within the Ereapermon. He held the hilt with small traces of what once used to be his brother Tsunu. "Pagui… Tsunu… Where are you?" a familiar young boy's voice weakly calls out.

Gaiomon yells out into the darkness, "James! James! I'm here!"

Bony shadow hands creep towards Gaiomon from every direction, the voices of multiple humans call out to him for help.

"Help us…"

"I want to go home…"

"This place is hell!"

"Where is the light? I can't find the light!"

"End our suffering…"

"I can't find home…"

The voices overwhelm Gaiomon who screams, "SHUT UP! I am only here for James!". He uses his swords to slash the hands away. EEEEEEEEEEEEK! A loud scream pierces his ears, Gaiomon endures the attack screaming right back at it, "JAAAAAAMES!" The hilt with Tsunu's data in it shines a light into the darkness, then silence follows. Suddenly, the area around him begins to change into a familiar place and time. Gaiomon looks around at the green grass with the wind blowing it gently. The sky is bright and sunny, in front of him a young boy with two digi-eggs waits anxiously waiting for them to hatch.

Gaiomon's eyes open wide with tears starting to form, "James… is that you?"

He starts to walk towards the boy but a blackgabumon grabs him. Gaiomon looks down at the blackgabumon, "Tsunu!"

Blackgabumon smiles with a wide, goofy grin and then stares at the boy; Gaiomon also follows his gaze. The young boy excitedly talking out loud, "I finally get my own Digimon! Not just one but two! Hmm, grandpa said to take them somewhere nice so they would have a good first memory with me. I think here is a good place. Now… hmm I'm gonna name the Punimon egg Tsunu because I want you to be a Tsunomon! And the Botamon egg Pagui because I want you to be a Pagumon! Then when you both get bigger, I'm going to train you guys to be the bestest monsters! I'll finally beat up my big bro!"

Both the eggs start to shake, the Punimon egg opens first. Tsunu looks up at the boy, "Puni! Pu!"

Next the Botamon egg opens. A Botamon opens his eyes, "Boo, Goo?"

James excitedly jumps for joy, "Yea!" Both the little Digimon jump with him happily.

Pagui looked awkwardly at his younger self, "I… didn't digivolve into Pagumon."

The memory in front him fast forwards through the times they would play together after James came back from a place called 'school'. They'd play with each other for days and train their little bodies so hard. Tsunu had digivolved into Tsunomon while he digivolved into Koromon. The disappointment on James' face was disheartening but despite that James kept him around anyway. James really wanted that Gazimon, but once again. When they digivolved, Tsunu became Gabumon and he became Agumon. Turns out James was terrified of lizards, and it took a long time for him to warm up to Pagui without running behind Gabumon all the time.

It took weeks but with Tsunu's help and encouragement, James managed to hug Pagui for the first time. "You are still my friend! Even if you are a freak now!"

Gaiomon starts to tear up and the memories start to move forward faster. Images appear all around him then the day starts to form from when he became Greymon. The digital world was breaking apart, the skies burned with a haunting sunset scorched in flames. Exodus unleashed his creations upon the world…

Gaiomon's eyes open wide, he tries to move towards him but the image of tsunu stops him shaking his head, "Let it go."

James' cries can be heard, "Pagui! Tsunu! Help! AGH!"

An Ereapermon unlike anything he had seen with his maws open had arms coming from the very pits of its core. It was slowly dragging the small boy away. James held onto the small cracks on the ground as Greymon and Garurumon in their weakened state kept getting up only to be smacked down again and again by the long stretching claws that raked their digital flesh.

Greymon, "JAMES! I'm coming!"

Garurumon, "Me too! Aroooo!"

Gaiomon tries to push Tsunu aside, but Tsunu pushes Gaiomon back, "Let it go."

Gaiomon yells back at Tsunu, "James needs us! We must save him! He's here! I can save him! I can save him!"

James screams, "PAGUI HELP!"

Gaiomon makes a break for it but Tsunu as Siegegarurumon gets in his way stopping him in his tracks. Siegegarurumon proceeds to incinerate the entire memory with fire causing a cacophony of screams from multiple victims including James. "AAAAHHHHH!"

Gaiomon uses his kinkurin (his swords) to slice through Siegegarurumon who dodges it and tackles him backwards. Gaiomon holds his ground, grabs Siegegarurumon and judo flips him over his back. He then makes a run for James who cries out, "You can still make it! Come on Pagui!"

Tsunu bites down on Gaiomon's leg causing him to trip. Gaiomon kicks Siegegarurumon multiple times in the face, then takes the hilt of one of his kinkurin and smacks Siegegarurumon's head off him. But Siegegarurumon pounces on Gaiomon who positions his legs to claw into his belly. In return Siegegarurumon uses his duo wolf heads to bite and shake his Kinkurin away from him while also using his wolf claws to rake into his chest as well. Gaiomon kicks the metal wolf off him then headbutts directly into the wolf's face. "Grrr!"

Gaiomon ran at Siegegarurumon with his claws while Siegegarurumon uses his fangs to cut into Gaiomon. Both of them repeat these motions for several moments until they are both haggard and weak. Gaiomon with tears in his eyes, "James… why? Tsunu?"

Siegegarurumon dripping metallic data from his mouth, "Let… it… go… it's… too late. Pagui"

Then James screams, "PAGUI!"

James' fingers let go of the ground, both Greymon and Garurumon struggle to get back up to save him.

Greymon staggers over to him with Garurumon trying to support him but they both fall over. Gaiomon screams, "NO JAMES!"

Gaiomon with the last bit of strength left limps hurridly over to James. Siegegarurumon grabs him one last time firmly with his mouth, "Pagui… stop."

An image of Reikyu appears between him and the memory, "You're my Digimon now. Not his, remember your loyalty. You wanted to get stronger Pagui, and you promised to follow me. Remember that."

This stops Gaiomon, "You're gone too!"

Reikyu disappears with a smile, "I'm always with you, friendship and determination, right? The things we can't change stay in the past, but the things we can do are in the future. Will you abandon that?"

Gaiomon stops and watches the Ereapermon eat James and the entire memory shatters before him. What's left is a pit of fangs that go deeper with hands reaching out.

Reikyu's words echo, "Will you abandon your future for a past you can't change? Or make the monsters regret crossing your path."

Gaiomon faces Siegegarurumon with a new sense of anger and determination, "Tsunu. I'm angry. They took everything from us! Everything! Now is the time! We will make them pay! We will stop these monsters! For James and Reikyu!"

Siegegarurumon looks at him with the same glow of gold and red taking over both of them as they jogress…

Both Digimon, "Siegegarurumon! Gaiomon! Digivolve!"

Location: Hexocliff, just outside of that specific Ereapermon.

The Ereapermon that Gaiomon had come out of explodes into feathers and black data chunks. A new Digimon appears from the union of Siegegarurumon and Gaiomon as Ikariomegamon Z (Angry omnimon zwart). Everyone witnesses the explosion and flash of the new Digimon floating above them. It rumbles with an overwhelming amount of power and anger. Zomboidiesmon looks up and swings at it but at the speed of the breaking digital sound barrier it splits apart in one fell swipe of his kinkurin blade arm and is incinerated with his nuclear wolf cannon arm. All that's left is ashes of data, orbs and feathers that float down to the abyss.

Ikariomegamon, "RAHHHHH!" He flies at Bellum making a mark on the war horse's flank shoving him sideways. The rangers and their Digimon take advantage of this as well letting out all they can onto the surprised monster. Bellum is engulfed by Tridramon's Tri beam, Captains X Cannons, Cain's barrage of heavy lead missiles and Tomoki's All4One Dagger attacks (Pierces 90% of things) with Ikariomegamon blasting him with his Wolf Roar Incineration attack. This covers Hexocliff in thick, gray smoke blinding everyone.

Bellum can be heard laughing with glee, "Heh, heh, heh, Is this all you can muster?"

Suddenly a flash of white engulfs the area like the flash of a nuclear bomb going off, Cain can be heard calling out "Tomoki!"

Tomoki is sent flying through the barrier, Tridramon returns to his device. The entire D brigade is defeated as well with Cain back in his original human form landing down at the camp. The smoke starts to clear up slowly. Ria runs up to her father screaming, "Dad!"

Cain looks up to Ria horrified, "Does your dad know you are here?!"

Ikariomegeamon lands down next to them as well, Kayden says, "You could have done this at any time?!"

Coilymon tries to repair the barrier, but his vines catch on fire due to the digital radiation, the rest of the Digimon also starts to burn up. Muskmon has snapped out of rage mode and starts to scratch everywhere, "Itchy! Why does it feel like I got fleas!"

The other Digimon around them also start to react; Some burst into fire and others just itch uncontrollably. Ikariomegamon says, "Call them back, this is digital radiation. Bellum's true form is here."

About: These three Digimon were specifically created from the well known tamagotcha series to keep Ria company while her Father worked long hours doing two jobs. Their creator is Anakai who made them for her 8th birthday. They along with Froggiemon all work together to protect Ria forming a super pet robot. One of their forms is Soph13 while other forms require the input of her other custom pets. These Digimon change between Ria's preferences and needs such as when she needs love Borkmon is there. When she wants to fly a bird, birbmon is there. When she wants to play with something Maowmon is there. There are seven custom pets in total.
