Facing Problems
Angel Grove High School - Outside of the Football Field
It is nighttime, the game is over and the stadium at Angel Grove High is clear. The last few people that are still there are the Rangers and their Mentor Billy. They are standing outside, near the parking lot, in front of a poster that says "Zack Taylor for Mayor!"
Billy stands in front of the rangers. He is flabbergasted when he found out about William being the son of Jovan McDaniel. McDaniel Tech and Cranston Technologies are both Rivals. Billy stands there wondering why William is a ranger when he could just rat out to his dad about what Billy is up to. Billy stares down William angrily, he feels betrayed by his blue ranger. Making him feel ashamed to have let him become a power ranger.
Billy says to William "give me your morpher" he says it while holding out his hand, offering William to hand it over politely. William steps back a bit. "Give me your morpher!" Yells Billy. William refuses "no!" He yells, denying Billy's request. Billy is irritated "I cannot let you be a ranger if you are the son of Jovan McDaniel!" Billy is furious. Minh goes over to Billy "please Uncle Billy," She begs him to stop. "Not now Minh!" says Billy angrily as he pushes her to the side. Billy tries to take the morpher by force. William backs away, he turns around and runs off. Billy tries to catch up to him. Minh stops Billy, she gets in front of him grabbing him by the arms. Billy pushes Minh to the ground, Minh lands on her back, on the pavement. Billy is shocked, he feels bad for what he has done. "Minh, Minh I'm sorry…" he puts out his hand, trying to pick her up. Minh refuses, backing away from Billy, she gets up on her own. "Minh, please…." Billy is upset for what he did. Minh runs away from Billy, she gets away from the parking lot and teleports home. Billy is shocked, he just made two of his best rangers run away from him. One of them being like a daughter to him. Billy turns around, he looks at Austin, Beverly, and Sav. Beverly grabs on to Austin, holding him tight by the arm. Austin stares down at Billy, giving him an evil glare. Sav is shocked to see how Billy is acting. Billy feels bad about himself, he teleports away not saying a word.
Two Weeks go by since the incident at the parking lot after the Football Game. The Angel Grove High School Football Team just won their district championship playoff game. They are going to the State Tournament. The first ever for the football program of Angel Grove High.
Angel Grove High - Gymnasium
There is a Pep Rally going on for the Remaining Sports Teams at Angel Grove High. There are only two Cross Country Kids and the Football Team. Both of those Individual Runners and the Whole Football Team are going to States. The Gym is packed with students feeling hyped up about the game. The Cheerleaders are all doing their cheer routine, with Beverly being on top of the Full Elevator Cheerleading Stunt. She holds up her Megaphone chanting "Hey, Hey, Lets Get that State Title! Let's Get That State Title!" The crowd is hyped. They really love hearing the cheerleaders but mostly Beverly. Beverly chants "Angel Grove Warriors! We ain't backing down! We're gonna, We're gonna! Own dat State Tournament!" The girls set Beverly down, Beverly yells into the megaphone "Angel Grove High, is gonna destroy those teams!" The crowd roars with excitement, they all clap their hands chanting at the cheerleaders. The Football team is hyped up. They are excited to have their cheerleaders back them up at States.
After the Pep Rally, Beverly goes over to Austin, they both kiss. Beverly wraps herself around Austin. Minh, Sav, and William all go over to the couple. "You were great Beverly!" says Sav complimenting her. Beverly smiles, "I'm glad to be in the center since our last center graduated" she says feeling proud of herself. Minh says to her "you really got what it takes to hype up the crowd!" Beverly nods, but she squeezes Austin tightly. Austin is suffocating from Beverlys affection. The cheerleaders come over to Beverly, the head cheerleader walks over to her. Her name is Kennedy Keller, she is a Senior at Angel Grove High. Kennedy smiles at Beverly, she says to her "Hey Beverly". Beverly looks at Kennedy, she smiles but gets serious with her team captain. "Kennedy, is there anything going on?" Beverly looks at Kennedy, wondering why she and the girls came over to her. Kennedy gives Beverly a concerned look on her face. Beverly wonders what is wrong. "Is there a problem?" she asks with concern. Kennedy responds, "we found out who we are playing in the first round of states." she says with a concerned look. Beverly is concerned, she and the cheerleading squad walk away from the four, they go into a private huddle. "Who are we playing?" Beverly asks with a worried look on her face. Kennedy responds "Sandy Cleve." Beverlys jaw drops, she thinks about one of the cheerleaders from cheerleading camp. "You mean?" Beverly asks, feeling sick to her stomach. Myiah, another cheerleader on the team, responds "yeah, Heather Smith." Beverlys legs shake, they shake until they feel like jello. She falls back a bit, Myiah and Sara (the other cheerleader) hold her up. Beverly is unable to stand. She remembers her flashback to Cheerleading Camp. Heather Smith is a student at Sandy Cleve High School. She was someone who started a lot of drama with Beverly at cheerleading camp. Heather made Beverly a laughing stock at the camp, destroying the friendship she had with the other girls in her cabin. Beverly felt awful the rest of her time there. Kennedy is concerned with Beverly, she asks "Beverly? Are you okay?" Beverly struggles to get up, she responds with a shy whisper "I'll be fine.." she struggles to walk, she heads into the locker room to lie down. The gang see Beverly struggling to move, as she heads into the locker room. Minh looks at the girls locker room door as it closes.
The communicator goes off, Austin hides his communicator and looks around, there are only a few people in the gym but they do not respond to the communicator going off. Austin, being second in command, stands up to the plate to be the leader, he tells Minh "Minh, go to Beverly. Help her out. The guys and I will go out." Minh nods "okay, go see what Alpha wants." Minh heads into the girls locker room to talk to Beverly.
Angel Grove High School - Basement
Austin, Sav, and William all go into the school basement, they respond to their communicator going off. Austin responds "what's up Alpha?" Alpha 9, back at the command center, responds "rangers, there's a monster attacking in the quarry. You must head there immediately!" Austin nods, "okay Alpha. We're on it!" He and the guys face the camera. Austin yells straight to the camera "It's Morphin Time!"
"Mastodon!"
"Triceratops!"
"Tyrannosaurus!"
The rangers are fully morphed and teleport over to the quarry.
Angel Grove High School - Girls Locker Room
Meanwhile, back at the school. Beverly lies down in the locker room, she is on the bench thinking about her issues with Heather. The sound of the door opens, Minh comes inside "Bev? Are you in here?" Beverly clears her head, she hears the sound of Minhs voice. Beverly goes silent. Minh looks around the locker room to find Beverly. Minh looks and turns towards a corner. She sees past a row of lockers is a saddened Beverly lying on the bench facing another row of lockers. Minh calls out to Beverly "Bev!" Beverly faces the lockers, she is in no mood to talk. "Leave me alone Minh!" she says, trying not to sob.
At the Quarry….
Angel Grove Quarry
The Guys battle a Rooster with a metal helmet and sneakers on its feet. The Rooster speeds towards the rangers hitting the trio with its sharp wings. "This one is pretty tough. Keep your guard up!" says Austin. The Rooster clucks with a chuckle "I, Cluckor, will take you rangers down!" the Rooster flaps its wings, getting its legs ready to run. The rangers take out their weapons. They attach their blade blasters to their thunder slingers. They take a close eye on Cluckor. "Keep your eyes open. This one is pretty fast." Austin says drawing his thunder slinger. Cluckor runs towards the rangers with its wings expanded, getting ready to hit the rangers. The rangers fire towards the Rooster. The rooster falls down. "Oh you rangers!" Cluckor yells in a bit of pain. "All right, we got him!" Austin cheers with enthusiasm. A purple smog appears, Metallic Grant appears, he takes out his sword and points it to the Red Ranger. "Let me deal with the Red Ranger!" Metallic Grant says with a command. Cluckor clucks feeling cheerful "bock, you're the boss!" Cluckor charges towards Black and Blue. Austin takes out his power sword, he and Metallic Grant battle each other in a sword fight. Their blades come clashing into each other. Cluckor takes out the Black and Blue rangers using the steel feathers on his wings. "You two rangers are gonna feel black and blue after I'm done with you!" Cluckor says with a cluck. Austin turns, he looks at his friends getting taken down "Guys!" Austin freaks out with a panic. Metallic Grant slashes his sword at the Red Ranger. The red ranger is taken down. "Don't turn your back on me!" Metallic Grant yells, getting ready to slice Austin. Austin dodges the attack.
Camera cuts to the command center
Cranston Technologies - Command Center
Alpha looks from the screen, he sees the rangers getting taken down. He tries to contact the girls, but they aren't responding. "Oh, I sure wish Billy was here!" Alpha says freaking out.
Camera cuts to Billy
Stone Canyon - Desert Resort
Billy stands on the cliff of the mountains, he observes the grounds of the local desert. He takes out his own personal lance (similar to the power lance he used to have as the blue ranger), he battles the virtual foot soldiers similar to the putty patrollers. He battles them one by one, taking them out. He has a flashback to the Football game a few weeks ago.
Flashback to the Football Game
Billy is mad at William for keeping his family a secret. He demands William to give him back his morpher. William refuses and teleports away from the group. Billy turns, he looks at the rangers. "You guys knew about this!" he yells angrily. Austin steps forward, "Billy, he was afraid to tell you…" he gets interrupted by Billy. "You knew! You knew about Williams dad being the CEO of McDaniel Tech!" Billy yells, feeling betrayed. Sav and Beverly are blown away, they had no idea that William is related to the CEO of McDaniel Tech. They whisper to each other. Austin tries to backpedal from Billy, but he steps forward. He steps towards Billy, "yes, he is related to Jovan McDaniel. But he's nothing like his dad. He's better than him!" Austin defends his friend. Billy puts out his hand, he looks straight at Austin. "Give me your morpher" Billy says with a demanding tone. Austin steps back, he is silent. "Give me your morpher!" Billy yells angrily. Minh goes over to Billy, "Uncle Billy, please." Minh says, trying to get Billy to calm down. "Stay out of this Minh!" Billy yells furiously at her. Minh gets in front of Billy, trying to get him to settle "Billy please!" Minh says, trying to get him under control. "Minh, back off!" Billy, yells angrily. Losing control of himself, he pushes Minh to the ground. Minh falls down to her side, she is shocked. Minh is scared of her Uncle Billy. Billy, realizing what he has done, looks at Minh wondering what he has done. Billy freaks out, he looks at Minh on the ground, he looks at the trio, then at his own hands. Realizing what he has done, he teleports away from the rangers.
Flashback ends.
Billy, finishes batting the virtual putty patrollers. He is covered in sweat. The cabin that he is staying at is filled with sports drinks and a few weight lifting machines. Billy sits on his bed, with a blue towel wrapped around his neck, he looks at the calendar. The calendar shows the amount of weeks that he has stayed at Stone Canyon. Billy stays there after his problems at home. Thinking about William and his dad gives him some mixed signals. He loves the fact that William has helped around the command center and gave upgrades to the rangers weapons and zords. He then thinks about Jovan, he and Jovan were always rivaling each other since their companies started out small. He remembers interning when Jovan was an Assistant Executive of Stone Canyon Tech. He stares at the article of Stone Canyon Tech, it says "Assistant Executive steals funds from Company" the picture shows Jovan McDaniel. Under that article, it shows another article. This one says "Intern takes over Stone Canyon Tech" the picture shows Billy with a smile on his face. Billy isn't sure if he is ready to go back home.
Back at the school.
Angel Grove High School - Girls Locker Room
Minh and Beverly talk to each other. Minh comforts Beverly, she wonders what made Beverly act up. She ignores the sound of their communicators. Beverly gets up, she yells "none of your business!" She tries to leave. Minh stops her, grabbing her by the shoulder. Beverly spins around to look at Minh. "Leave me alone Minh!" Beverly isn't dealing with Minh. "What's your problem Beverly? I didn't do anything to you!" Minh yells towards her. Beverly responds "you're my problem. Do you have anything else to do besides acting like you're better than us!" Minh is confused, "what are you talking about?" Beverly looks at Minh feeling dumbfounded "just forget it" Beverly teleports away.
Camera cuts back to the quarry.
Angel Grove Quarry
The Black and Blue Rangers are defeated by Cluckor while Metallic Grant takes down the Red Ranger. Grant is about to swing his sword towards the Red Ranger. Austin, lying down on the ground, pulls out his blade blaster and fires it towards Metallic Grants leg; his right leg is injured. Metallic Grant falls to his right. Austin jumps back up and hustles over to Sav and William. Metallic Grant gets back up "you'll pay for this Red!" He and Cluckor teleport back to their base. Austin checks up on Sav and William "you guys okay?" he asks with concern. Both Black and Blue nod. "We're fine," said Sav. 'Let's get back to the command center" suggests William. The trio teleport back to the command center.
Cranston Technologies - Command Center
The Guys teleport into the command center, they demorph into their civilian forms. "What was that?" Said Austin as he takes a breather "this thing is getting back at me for knocking him down earlier" Austin sits down for a bit. He wonders what is up with Metallic Grant. Alpha comforts Austin "there now Austin." Austin puts his head up. Sav and William are exhausted as well. William goes over to the computer "where is Billy? He's been gone for weeks" he says while scanning through the system to find him. "Billy left Angel Grove" Alpha says to answer Williams question. The guy rangers look at Alpha. "He's been out of town!" William says, feeling shocked. "Well, him finding out about your dad did set him off" Austin says in response. William ignores Austins comment, he continues to scan through the systems. "Dang, nothing!" William says, feeling frustrated. "Billy turned off his communicator, he does not want to be bothered" Alpha 9 says, describing about Billys whereabouts. The rangers are stuck in the command center without a mentor. "Couldn't you get Zack to help us?" Sav asks. William answers "Zack is busy with his campaign, and he doesn't know anything about technology" he goes through the computer system.
Minh teleports into the command center. "Where were you?" Sav asks, feeling a little agitated. Minh responds "trying to get Beverly to answer my question. But she refuses to talk to me," she goes over to sit on the couch, putting her head down. Austin goes over to Minh, he sits next to her. Beverly cannot stand Minh, Austin notices this. "Hey, you okay?" Austin asks Minh while rubbing her back, Minh faces the floor. "Why is Beverly mad at me? I didn't do anything to her!" she says furiously. "I don't know," said Austin. Minh sticks her head up and looks at Austin "You and Beverly are dating! How do you not know?" Minh looks at Austin while she says this. Austin is confused, "I know that Beverly has a problem with you. I just don't know why?" he says. Minh is confused "is she just jealous of our friendship?" she asks, feeling confused about why Beverly hates her. Austin shrugs "you should go talk to her. Maybe she can explain why." Minh doesn't know where Beverly went off too.
Stone Canyon Archery
Beverly is at an Archery Range, she shoots the targets using the bow and arrow that she rented from the range. She shoots the targets, hitting them at every bullseye. She focuses on the last target, she imagines Heather Smith. Her face is pictured on the target. She imagines her shooting her camp bully, letting go of the arrow, the arrow flies straight into the target, Bullseye! Beverly breathes with relief, she feels better. All of a sudden, she hears a clap. She looks over to her right, standing twenty feet from her is a familiar face. The familiar face is clapping for Beverly. The clapping comes from Billy.
Stone Canyon Desert Resort
Beverly and Billy hangout at Billys second home. Billy explains to her why he is at Stone Canyon. "So you ran away, all because of your guilt with us?" Billy nods, "It seems that my furiousness with William has made my other emotions get in the way of others that I care about." Beverly looks at Billy, "you can't just run away from your problems. You gotta face them and take care of the situation" Beverly says to her mentor. "May I ask why you are here in stone canyon?" Billy asks. Beverly looks down on the ground "I guess the same thing you are doing…" she says, feeling bad about herself. "Your aggressiveness seems to show some emotion using your archery skills" Billy says to Beverly. Beverly looks down on the ground, she explains to Billy "you see, I have this enemy. She has been a problem to me back when we went to cheerleading camp together." Billy listens to Beverly, "I see, and would this be someone at Angel Grove?" he asks Beverly. Beverly shakes her head no "No, it's someone from another school. It happens to be the school we are playing in states" Beverly explains. "So this girl from camp was a problem for you. And you took it out on your friends instead" Billy says as he understands what Beverly is talking about. Beverly nods "yes, she was a bully to me throughout camp" she says with a little bit of tears in her eyes. Billy thinks back to when he lost his friend Trini "When Minh lost her to Mom, she blamed me for the loss." Beverly looks up, she then thinks about Minh and her mothers loss. "She blamed you?" Beverly asks with her mouth hanging a bit open. "Yes she did. All because Trini wanted to protect me from the blast of Robo Rita" Billy explains to Beverly. "What does Minhs Mom have to do with my problem?" Beverly asks, wondering why Billy brought up Trini. Billy explains a bit more "because Minh took out her emotions on me. She was mad about her mothers loss. She already lost her dad." Beverly is curious about Minhs Dad "what happened to her dad?" she asks curiously. "Her Dad left the family. He cared more about his life more than his wife and daughter. Minh tried to run away from home, just to find her father. While running, she got lost and couldn't find her way back" Billy explains, going into a little bit of detail. Beverly feels bad for what she said to Minh, but feels worse for what Minh had to go through in her life. "My point is, you can't just run away, you gotta move forward and face those problems. I have to face William being the son of Jovan McDaniel. While you have to face your old enemy on the football field. Minh had to face the fact that her father was never coming back. But she did manage to not let her emotions get in the way of her loss" Billy says to Beverly. "You gotta face your own fears head on, be the cheerleader on the field and not let anything stop you from showing your school spirit" Billy says, continuing to advise Beverly not to live in fear and to never take out her emotions on her friends. Beverly smiles, she plays with her ponytail. "Thank you Billy!" Beverly says with a smile. Her communicator goes off, Beverly answers it "Alpha, what's up?" Alpha, back at the command center "Beverly, Cluckor is attacking the city. Ai yai yai, it's a real mess, the rangers need you!" Billy nods at Beverly "go, the rangers need you. I'll head back to the command center!" he says with a smile, feeling proud of his pink ranger. Beverly faces the camera, she yells "It's Morphin Time!"

Downtown Angel Grove
The Black, Blue, and Yellow Rangers battle Cluckor while the Red Ranger battles Metallic Grant in a swordfight. Austin, battling Metallic Grant, comments "don't you ever get tired of me" he says while pushing Grant away from him. Grant answers "not in this lifetime Red!" while he charges at Austin. Austin dodges Grant, they keep fighting blade to blade. Cluckor swings its metallic feathers towards the rangers, Sav takes out his power axe and switches it into blaster mode "how about I turn you into Barbecue Chicken!" He fires it towards the bird. The bird is hit, but not enough to take it down. "Stand strong rangers! We can take him!" Minh says, trying to be positive. She and William take out their weapons trying to take down the Shoe Laced Chicken. Sav switches his power axe back to weapon mode, trying to swing at the bird. Cluckor says with a snicker, "Gotta go!" The bird runs away in hyperspeed, he runs around the rangers. The trio try to hit the bird, but he is too fast to take down. "We can't take him down!" said William. "Worst Chicken Run I've ever watched!" comments Sav. Minh tries to swing her power daggers at Cluckor, but the chicken hits Minh with its feathers. Austin tries to come help, but he is stalled by Metallic Grant "you're going anywhere Red!" the steel swordsman yells while swinging his blade towards Red. The Red Ranger blocks his blade with his power sword. "Dangit, this is ridiculous!" says Austin, while clashing his sword against Metallic Grant, who continues to block the blade with his blade.
While Cluckor runs around the Yellow, Black, and Blue Rangers. The three are all dizzy, they can't keep their focus. "Not so tough now, are you rangers!" Cluckor says while running around the three in a circle. The chicken is ready to strike, until he gets hit by an arrow. The chicken trips, losing control, crashes into Metallic Grant. They both collide into each other and crash into a street light. "What is the meaning of this!" Metallic Grant yells angrily at the Chicken. "Bock, it's not my fault, something hit me!" Cluckor says, struggling to get up. William looks at Cluckor, he points at an arrow, sticking out of the Chickens back "look, it's an arrow!" The rangers look, it is an arrow. Another arrow fires at the chicken. Cluckor is hit again. The pink ranger is standing on top of the coffee shop. "Looks like I hit the right target!" Beverly says. "Beverly!" the rangers say in excitement. Metallic Grant gets up, pushing Cluckor back down on the ground "how dare you make a fool out of me!" he yells angrily at the Pink Ranger. Cluckor tries to get back up. The Pink Ranger jumps off of the building, firing her arrows from her power bow at Metallic Grant, he dodges but Cluckor is hit in his place. Metallic Grant is about to teleport away but he says one more thing to the Rangers "I'll be seeing you guys later, especially the Red One!" he leaves in a powerful smokescreen. Cluckor is about to get up, Minh looks at Cluckors sneakers "Sav, fire your axe at the sneakers" she says pointing at the shoes. Cluckor tries to get up, but Sav takes out his power axe, switches it to blast mode, and fires it towards the sneakers. "Bock!" yells Cluckor as he takes a fall face forward. The Chicken gets back up, but he realizes a problem with his footwear "NO! MY SHOES!" Cluckors shoes are falling apart, the sneakers are torn revealing his bare chicken feet. "That's the last time I watch Chicken Run!" says Sav with a comment. "Don't diss my favorite movie" said William. Minh points out the chickens weakness, it is his shoes. Shoes do fall apart eventually, she decides to help the shoes fall apart faster. "Once the shoes fall apart, you are never able to wear them again," said Minh, thinking about the chickens speed. "My shoes, my shoes! You rangers are gonna pay!" Cluckor yells with anger. The chicken is about to run, but slows down. While Cluckor is running in slow speed, the rangers combine their weapons. They combine their weapons into the power blaster, firing it towards Cluckor. Cluckor falls down and explodes.
The rangers celebrate their victory, until the metal helmet on the Rooster glows red. Smog pops out and seeps back in. Cluckor grows into a giant, he yells "Bock, you can't get rid of me that easily!" Minh calls up Alpha, "Alpha, we need Dinozord Power, Now!" The Zords come out of their stations, the rangers teleport into their cockpits. "Switching to Megazord Mode!" Minh says, pressing a button, activating the megazord. The rangers press their button as well, combining the Zords into Megazord mode. The Megazord is in Tank Mode, the Rangers in the Megazord cockpit fire their cannons towards the Rooster. Cluckor is taken down but doesn't back down. "You think that can stop me!" the chicken says pretending that he wasn't affected at all. "Switching to Megazord Battle Mode" says Minh, sitting in the center of the cockpit. She and the rangers all activate battle mode. The Megazord is in battle mode, with its Power Mega Sword in one Hand and its Mastodon Shield in the other. Cluckor swings its feathers towards the Megazord, the Megazord is hit, but swings its sword at the bird. The bird is hit, but the Megazord uses its final blow towards the Monster. The Megazord infuses the Power Mega Sword with a Red Crackling Energy, it is charged up swinging and hitting the Rooster. Cluckor falls down, exploding in the process. The rangers celebrate their victory. "Now that's what I call Fried Chicken!" says Beverly.
Grande Morevils Lair - Base
Grande Morevil throws a temper tantrum, "No No No Nooooooo! Why did I even make this thing!" He yells while throwing a few useless objects across the room. The Tux Rucks run away feeling frightened by their master.
Grande Morevils Lair - Hallway
Clondurk breaks another wall, they are deep in the dark cave. Lady Darcine is excited to see what is there in the cave. "The depths of Dusk Bay. This is very interesting!" Lady Darcine says feeling excited about the cave. Clondurk scans the room, "it is the lair of a few beings in the cave, it is said to have been used for a long time." The whispers get louder than usual. A dark ghost comes over to Telegator, he is frightened. "What are you? Where did you come from!" he yells, trying not to be frightened, the gator has a hard time hiding it of course. The Ghost with a Purple face answers "We are the Phantom Thieves of Angel Grove!" Three more ghosts appear. They surround the trio. "You Four are the Phantom Thieves?" Lady Darcine says with a smile on her face. "You can help defeat our greatest enemy!" she says with a smirk on her face. Telegator whispers to Darcine "Lady Darcine, are you really gonna trust these things? We don't know any-" Lady Darcine hits Telegator to shut him up. "Sorry, my Gator is cranky" Lady Darcine says to the ghosts. Telegator is offended. The Ghost with a Purple Face asks "You think we can help you?" Lady Darcine nods "yes, will you?" she says with a puppy dog face. The Ghost responds "We are dead, we have been locked up in this cave. We can't even get out, even with that hole in the wall" the ghost is offended with what Darcine asks. Lady Darcine comes up with an idea "maybe, if we can find new bodies for you four, then you can come help us." she says with a smirk. The ghosts think about it. Telegator is unsure about this idea. Clondurk stands there, scanning the entire room.
Cranston Technologies - Command Center
The Rangers wait to see what Billy and William have to talk about. Minh and Beverly discuss in their own private conversation. She explains her troubles with Heather and why she hated hearing the name Sandy Cleave. After discussing her bully issues from camp, she apologizes to Minh. "Minh, I just wanna say I'm sorry about how I've acted. I was a coward and I took out my problems on you instead, I hope you can forgive me?" Minh is unsure at first, she asks "what did you mean about, being better? I don't understand what I did to make you feel mad at me?" Beverly wants to forget about it, but she doesn't want to keep it held in much longer. She explains to Minh, "I was a bit jealous of you and Austin." Minh is confused, she doesn't know what Beverly is talking about. She asks Beverly "what do you mean, jealous?" Beverly wants to explode, she takes a breather and relaxes. She explains peacefully "I was jealous of you two. After Austin broke up with me, I've been crying nonstop for days. Then I saw that he was with you and I got jealous. I just couldn't stand feeling broken up about this." Beverly sighs with relief but still feels hurt after Austin dumped her. Minh understands what Beverly is talking about. "It's your parents, isn't it?" Minh asks Beverly. Beverly is about to give Minh and attitude, but then she remembers what Minh meant by "her parents" she thinks about it for a bit. "Yeah, our parents…. They wanted us to be together. Just to merge our companies into one" Beverly remembers how Austin was being forced to do things his parents wanted him to do. "Yeah, I knew Austin since PreK, I knew he was depressed when his parents made him do things he didn't want to do" Minh says, understanding Austin and his problems at home. Beverly nods "but the worst part was…" she says while playing with her ponytail. Minh asks Beverly "what?" Beverly answers "I actually loved him" she says feeling teary eyed. Minh hugs Beverly, Beverly hugs her back. Beverly says to Minh "I've been jealous ever since we broke up and you hung around Austin. I couldn't stand you two together, I just wasn't over Austin like I thought I was…." she says this while staring at the door. Minh understands, she knows what Austin has been through and so has Beverly. "Let's start over. Let's not let anything get in the way of our friendship" said Minh. Beverly smiles, "yes, let's be friends!"
Meanwhile, at the next office.
Billy and William have a talk, they discuss what they can do about William being a ranger and the son of Jovan McDaniel. Billy walks back and forth, "I know your ranger duties is something you like, but I can't let you lie about your father being related" Billy stops after he says this. He eyes William. William is afraid to say something, but he doesn't know where to start. He takes out his power morpher, he hands it to Billy. "Here, take it. I know you've had it more than I did. You can take care of the rangers" he says, holding the power morpher in his right hand, giving it to Billy. Billy denies the offer, "No, you keep it" Billy says as he turns away from William. William is confused, he asks "what? But you found out-" Billy interrupts "yes, I did find out about your father, but I come to realize that you are better than what he was" Billy turns and looks at William "William, you're gonna be a great asset to the team!" Billy says with a smile. William is shocked, he leaps into Billys arms, hugging him. "Thank you Billy, I promise to be the best blue ranger!" he says feeling good about keeping his blue ranger power. Billy follows up "you remind me of me when I was your age." William is shocked "no? You?" Billy nods "yes, my father wanted me to be a congressman, but I denied his idea and kept inventing"
Johnston Stadium
The Angel Grove Warriors play in the first round of the state tournament. They play against the Sandy Cleave Beavers at a Neutral Site. It is nighttime, early evening, the lights shine down on the entire turf field. The Johnston Stadium is a Football Stadium at Midlakes University. The Stadium is a Neutral Site used for the State Playoffs. It is Two Hours away from Angel Grove while Sandy Cleave is an hour away from Midlakes University. Angel Grove is down south while Sandy Cleave is up North.
The stadium is packed with fans. The crowd cheers for their teams. Hoping for the Warriors or Beavers to make it to the State Final Four. The entire Angel Grove Community is dressed up in their Purple and Gold rooting on the Warriors. Zack and Billy both cheer on their old teams being former players of the squad. They eat their chili dogs while Rocky eats a bucket of French Fries, he shares his bucket with his girlfriend Kelly (Billys Secretary). Minh, Austin, Sav, and William are all sitting next to each other. They are all feeling hyped up for both their team and their cheerleaders, mostly Beverly. It is the start of the third quarter. Both teams are tied 25 - 25, it is a tough game between both teams. They both wanna make it to the Final Four of the State Tournament. Beverly and her cheerleading squad cheer on the Warriors. Right after they hydrate, a girl with red hair and freckles walks over to Beverly. The girl is Heather Smith "well, well, well. If it isn't the Beverly Smellverly" she says with a remark. Beverly is frightened, she knows that familiar voice. She looks up to see Heather Smith. "You still smell like manure, still haven't learned your lesson about snitching, have you!" Heather says to scare Beverly. Kennedy steps towards Heather, "how about go back to your zone, before you become the endzone!" she says defending Beverly. Heather snickers, she goes back to her cheerleading squad. After Heather walks away, Kennedy talks to Beverly "don't let her get to you. Camp is old news, States is the Real Deal!" she hypes Beverly up, trying to get her into the zone. Beverly smiles at her captain, she feels ready to go. She thinks about her advice she had from Billy along with her talking to Billy about their problems.
The game begins, the Cheerleaders have a cheerout against each other. Angel Grove and Sandy Cleave each have a cheer off. Both Football Teams battle it out. They both play to score a touchdown. Angel Grove scores, they're ahead of Sandy Cleave. Heather is disgusted, she gives Beverly a dirty look. Beverly sticks out her tongue towards Heather, showing her camp bully that she is better off without her getting in the way of her emotions. Heather tries to hype up the crowd. The Sandy Cleave squad is confused, wondering what Heather is doing. It is nothing that they have practiced.
Angel Grove continues to battle, the cheerleaders hype up the Football team using their cheers, stunts, and routines. The Angel Grove students are hyped, they love what the cheerleaders are doing. The Angel Grove Football team is ahead of Sandy Cleave. They are ahead 48 - 25 going into the fourth quarter. One of the Sandy Cleave Cheerleaders argue with Heather, their argument messes up the school spirit vibe. Sandy Cleave is having problems with their cheerleaders. Angel Grove continues to clash through the fourth quarter, beating Sandy Cleave 69 - 25, shutting them out in the 4th Quarter.
The Sandy Cleave cheerleaders argue with each other, Heather storms over to Beverly, "What was that?" she screams with rage. Beverly is about to be scared, but then she realizes that Heather is acting like a child. "Just some typical school spirit, ever heard of it" Beverly says with a smirk. Heather is imitated by Beverly, she is shocked "are you kidding me? You got this team to cheat!" she says, trying to cover up her own problems. Kennedy and Myiah step in, Kennedy says to Heather "sorry Heather, but you're not worth our time." Miyah says to Heather "yeah, now go!" Heather is angry, she walks away from the girls. Once Kennedy, Myiah, and Beverly have their backs turned, Heather charges towards them. Beverly hears the stomping feet of Heather, she dodges out of the way. Heather zooms past the trio, she runs into a hot dog stand, she is covered in cheese and chili for the hot dogs. "Ew, gross!" Heather screams while crying into her own embarrassment. Beverly, Kennedy, and Myiah laugh.
