With the Dragonborn now recovered, he now formally meets the commander of the golden knights, but what else is in store for him and the Crew? will they be able to use their magic again?
And what's the end result of Reynold's mission? find out now in this short chapter...
Chapter 25:
A moment to Rest...
Earthmother's temple, healer's room...
"The lad who pushed the lady around, huh?" Niall smirked before getting up and walking to the Dragonborn, "The name's Niall, High Commander of the military of both Feoh and Ur, nice to meet ya." he then held his hand forward after planting his weapon down.
Traysek took it and shook it, "Likewise Niall, and by "lady"... you mean Alicia don't you?" he chuckled, "I didn't really "Push" per se, more like rose my voice and she toppled over," he shrugged.
"Then I don't see why she complained." the commander laughed before adding, "The lass wasn't like that, you know? She was different, kind... but it was her family that changed her."
The Redguard nodded, "If I had to guess, her family's quite the big deal, I've met her cousin after all, a cute opposite in comparison~" he grinned, "Then coupled with the military power at her disposal and her position as shield princess, you can easily understand where all that arrogance comes from..."
"The little lass, huh?" Niall went into thought before adding, "Well, I'm trying to make sure that she doesn't end like the lady, but the pressure her family is putting on her is making it quite hard. As for the other one... she changed after the death of one of her teachers that was accused of using magic by helping a kid that got hurt by falling."
Traysek frowned upon that, "Executed over healing magic...? Isn't that more of an asset for them...?"
"He would be one if he was submissive toward them." Niall growled a little, "In fact, you can say that they're afraid of magic that doesn't serve their interest..."
The Redguard sighed, rolling his eyes, "Typical...and they wonder why we deserted them..." facepalming, "From what the girls told me, they were going to use them to bring the rest of us down in the crew...what they weren't expecting, was for those two to be loyal..." shaking his head, "I don't think they understand what goes into being "Submissive" firstly, that's something that's EARNED, not GIVEN...if they're not willing to do the actual work to acquire it...other than demanding it, then don't deserve it from anyone, especially from me and mine...not until they prove they aren't incompetent jackasses and so far, they're doing a shit job with that..."
"Well, they have a lot of issues." Niall sighed, "When I first got here, I was surprised by how bad their forces are. the only thing that they had was the number. Which would be useless against a smart opponent... and when I first fought for them, the current king wanted me to be his personal dog. Like that's gonna work." he spat before continuing, "But the people here are suffering due to the rotten brains in each ruler of each major city. That's why I forced him to appoint me as the protector and High Commander of both Feoh and Ur." he then chuckled before adding, "The look on his face, he looked like he was about to explode. Nevertheless, he knew that there was no other choice, and with that, I got what I wanted and more, I even got the chance to have my personal troops, a lovely wife that's going to give birth anytime soon, and a powerful ally in the form of Jericho Swain."
Traysek gave him a smirk, "Oh? A Soon-to-be dad huh? Congrats~, I almost envy it...settling down I mean, life moves too fast for me to do it...Much power to you for pulling it off..." with a nod, "but, I do plan on it one day, maybe a wife with two or three kids, living in a manor built from the ground up...depends where my life goes," before raising an eyebrow, "There is one thing I am lost on, if you're on their side, why help us? wouldn't we be deserters or cowards in your eyes?"
"Lad, I'm the protector of Feoh and Ur. Which means that I protect the citizens, not barking back to some brainless pocketful loudmouths." Niall pointed out, "What kind of protector would I be if I begin to follow a fool who has a crown on his head?"
The Redguard was surprised, but nodded, "Not a good one as you are now, that's for sure, you value protecting the people more so than serving the shields and nobles," a grin cracking, "Seems like you're fit to be king more-so than the current ruler is...I think we're going to get along swimmingly, you and I, with the added fact that Swain is in favor of you,"
"That old bird is way smarter than you think." Niall chuckled, "The moment he lays eyes on you, he can set you value. And he can even test you in some way if he wishes, with you unaware of it."
Traysek frowned at that, "Huh, I'm almost curious as to what Values he saw in us...perhaps when I get another chance to speak to him, I'll ask..." nodding.
"Honestly, no one knows." Niall shrugged before adding, "From what I know about him, he used to rule over an empire, but someone sent him here in a way that he still doesn't know. But now that he got a new life here, I don't think that he would want to go back... perhaps..."
The Redguard rose an eyebrow, "Well if his world was as war-torn as ours was, I can't blame him for not wanting to go back, who would want to? not like here's any different, it's worse actually,"
"Who can say?" Niall shook his head, "But according to those I met, this world is really something else..."
"It truly is...in a frightening way, much more than we thought when we first got here," Traysek nodded, "Things aren't what they seem and I suspect, we're not done seeing what it has to offer..."
There was a knock at the door, getting their attention.
"Friends of yours?" He asked him with an eyebrow raised.
"If it was, they wouldn't just knock." Niall pointed before opening the door.
At the door were Erik, Lucien, Inigo, and Yuri standing with a priestess...
"They requested to see their leader, is he available?" She asked him.
Traysek nodded, "Yeah, go ahead and let them in,"
The four people pilled into the room, finding their captain in full health...
"Hey guys...you all look like you've seen a ghost," He chuckled, as Inigo walked up to him, putting him in a crushing hug.
"My friend! you are looking good! we thought you lost your face!" The khajiit greeted, again crushing him...
The Redguard wheezed, pushing him back, "*Gasp* it's nice to see you guys too, but take it easy,"
"Hehehe~ sorry," He apologized, as he was moved out of the way by Yuri.
"Easy on him, kids, he won't go in a grave for a long time." Niall pointed with a laugh before handing the priestess a sealed Scroll, "Hand this to a messenger, the general must know of what I found."
Yuriana inspected the Redguard raising an eyebrow, "We thought you would've been disfigured with the way you burned..."
"I thought so too, turns out they've got some medicine that cures even that in this world," Traysek pointed, spotting Lucien's hands, "Let me guess, lightning magic? you were lucky there Lucien,"
"Me? you're the lucky one, the worst I got was burns from lightning, you were set ablaze," The imperial chuckled, "How's your magic by the way? can you channel it?"
The Redguard thought on that, "I haven't tried yet, just getting up myself, but I'm not sure if that effect has worn yet,"
"Careful, kids, you need to watch yourselves." Niall warned after closing the door, "Give it half a day more before trying."
Yuriana frowned and looked at her hands, watching the magic ripple uncontrollably, "He's right, our magic's been disrupted, there are ripples in mine..." looking at the glow of her spell, dissipating it.
Traysek nodded, "Yeah, I feel that too, even when it comes to the Thu'um," he sighed, noticing something, "Hey, where's Recorder? she's the only one not here,"
"She's talking to Dargo about something, sounded serious," Inigo answered, "She said she would join us, but it's been a minute now...should we check on them?"
"Nah, let her have some time, I'm sure whatever their hashing out is between them," The Redguard waved off, "We'll run into her later, maybe we'll ask," turning to Niall, "Where are our manners, Commander, this my crew, most of them, men, this commander Niall, the one in charge of the gold knights here,"
"Nice to meet ya kids" Niall laughed before adding, "You seem like the lively kind of bunch."
The khajiit chuckled, "We try to be on our best days," nodding before extending a hand, "I'm Inigo, the best marksman in the crew and harbinger of the ladies~ pleased to meet you!"
Lucien narrowed his eyes, "I doubt anyone's referred to you in the second bit," rolling them, turning to Niall, "I am Lucien Flavius, Scientist, and explorer, I'm the brains of the crew,"
"I'm Erik the Slayer, a seasoned mercenary and the boss's apprentice, it's nice to meet you, Commander," The Nord Introduced himself.
Yuriana gave a smile, "And I'm Yuriana, the barmaid and bodyguard to the crew, it's a pleasure," with a curtsey bow.
"Well, I let you catch up. Gonna need to make sure the boys don't mess things up." Niall laughed before exiting the room.
Traysek waved, "Catch you later Niall," watching the door close, "I'm glad he's not like the others, how'd they treat you all?"
"Pretty alright for wanted criminals, looks like these guys aren't on the same thing as the other knights we fought," Erik told him, getting a nod in response.
"Same here, wasn't rude at all, some of them were dark elves even," Lucien added in.
Yuriana nodded, "Same here, they gave me no issues, and even cured that disease we all had,"
Inigo shrugged, "They seemed more dismissive than rude, and had more people to care for but not rotten,"
The Redguard nodded, "Good, that gives me more of a reason to trust him then," stretching, "There's something I want to talk to all of you about, but...Recorder's not here yet and that's the one who especially needs to hear this, so we'll go search for her now, no point in waiting here,"
"I know where she is, just a few tents from mine," Erik added, "Ready when you are,"
Traysek nodded, before being the first out of the room...
15 minutes before...
Back in Recorder's tent, she took a deep breath at his serious stare... "Where do I begin...we met this weird holy knight by the name of Reynold Von Musel, he had silver hair and is very young compared to most of the holy knights we've seen..." she paused, "He...tried to stop us from getting to Erdora to prevent the loansharking we were hired for...And after he was beaten and humiliatingly so...he ended up coming with us there and we learned the truth of how it looked, before you guys fixed it up..." sighing, "He's...not really a friend, more of an acquaintance...we fought back to back during our time back there, even helped with Yuriana's rescue so... I truly thought he was different...until he tried to destroy your statue and...threaten your general and NOW, this..." rubbing the back of her head, "Even though the boss shut both of those attempts down, he still proved who he was...", eyes shadowed over, "I'm not so sure if we're even Aquaintances anymore...if he knows that we deserted that is..." looking back at him, "I didn't want to lie to you, but I also didn't want to believe it either...it's hard to call what he did cowardly, as an assassin myself...I've taken kills like that, but he's not one and has caused you great pain...I can't imagine what it's like losing someone that close...and for that...I'm truly sorry for not saying anything during that point..." she finished, awaiting his response...
"You don't have anything to be sorry for." Dargo replied, "You didn't know what was going on, and it wasn't you who killed her. In fact... I'm thankful that you told me his name..."
She nodded slowly with a small smile, "I know you are...I can't stop you from going after him, because it's going to happen one of these days, I would hear him out first, make him explain himself...if it's anything but remorse, whatever fate chooses, be it you sparing or killing him...I won't think less of you for it, I just wanted to let you know that, and I trust you..." placing her hand on his.
"Thank you..." Dargo's face was totally red at this point.
Her face went red for a bit, before it lessened, giving a smile, "You're welcome..."
Present time...
Traysek pulled the flap of the tent open, finding those two in a hand embrace, clearing his throat, "Um...should we come back later...? We can always come back later..."
Recorder went wide-eyed, face redder than a tomato, "B-boss?! W-what? It's not-" she stammered trying to finish, as he giggled.
"It's all good Recorder, really, I came to check on you since you were the only one that didn't come up to visit," He pointed, smirking, "Looks like someone else beat me to it~" making their faces even redder.
"Maybe that I should..." Dargo tried to talk, but the embarrassment is making it hard.
Traysek chuckled, "Geez, you two act like you got caught doing something, relax before you both pass out," sighing, "How are you guys feeling?"
Dargo took a deep breath before saying, "I'm used to Frostbite, so it wasn't a problem for me."
"I see, you had it better than me," The Redguard laughed, turning to Recorder.
"I'm doing alright, was just tired and had that disease for a bit and..." She paused, "And thinking about what happened back there...I'm coming to terms, but..."
The Redguard nodded, "I understand, but Record...none of that can be pinned on you, or any of us...we did the best we could and got those out that could be saved, don't beat yourself up over what could've been...we'll just do better next time, alright?"
"Y-yeah..." She answered, "Dargo said the same thing earlier,"
"See? Even he knows," he pointed, nodding at Dargo, "That said, when you're done resting up, we all need to talk,"
Record looked around, "I don't see the others, where are they?"
"They went with Erik to check on Zephyr, she apparently is in a worse condition than the rest of us," Traysek said, glancing back out.
She nodded, getting out of bed, stretching, "Then it's time to head out then, been in this bed long enough,"
"I've been thinking..." Dargo began as he was redder than before, "For later... maybe we can... go to that bakery... together..."
Record stared at him a moment until she thought about it, "You know...that doesn't sound too bad, wanted to try some myself, why not~?"
"Ever since those two came in the tavern smelling like the bakery, we might as well all go," Traysek smirked, "But we'll let you have a table to yourselves, that way it's less awkward," opening the tent back up, "Come on, I'm sure you could use the air,"
She nodded, turning to Dargo, "You coming?"
He nodded before following them.
At Zephyr's tent...
Erik and the others arrived at the tent, stopped by the guard...
"How is she?" he asked the knight.
"Some special healers were called to do this." the knight answered, "They will need time to do the ritual to create a space of pure air, which means that no one should open the tent, or her case will become worse than before."
The Nord had a worried expression but nodded, "I see..."
"Erik, we're going to have to come back later, because if we open it now..." Yuriana began with, getting a nod from him.
"I know...I'm just...hoping she pulls through is all," He told her.
Inigo put a hand on his shoulder, "She will my friend, we just have to be patient, and besides, it's not like we're leaving her here,"
At that moment, the trio of Traysek, Recorder, and Dargo got there.
"They don't want them to disturb whatever is going on there..." the Dark Elf stated.
Traysek walked up to them, "How's she doing?"
"They have to do some ritual to summon pure air for her, until then, there's nothing we can do," Lucien explained.
The Redguard nodded, "Yeah, then they're going to need the time, trust me, Erik, when she's better they'll tell us, okay?"
"Yeah..." Erik responded in a sullen tone.
Recorder gave him a sympathetic smile, "It's okay Erik, we're going to the pie place nearby, maybe...you can bring her back something, just keep it until then...From what I heard, she wanted banana cream, so we'll if any of that's there, I'll pay for it even,"
The Nord turned to her, "Thank you, Record...I mean it, I'll pay you back,"
"Don't worry about it, man, I'm not expecting you to," She sighed, ushering him away with the others, "Come on, we shouldn't linger around here,"
As he was being pulled away from the tent, he gave one last glance back, before sighing, leaving with them...
Regis' manor...
Working Office...
Regis got to his office in a Mist form right before that a knock was heard.
"My lord, the guest." the maid said.
Regis sat before replying with "Let him in."
The door opens, with Rey walking in, holding two items, sitting them on the table, having a seat...
"It took so much time, but I finally found the key pieces we needed for the investigation..." He began with, "It all links to a secret party, "The holy light festival" that's where the victims were going, they each brought with them their favorite worker and after they were attacked, those people disappeared soon after and they were not amongst the corpses..." pausing, "The stone came from Bernadus brothers, the invitation from the Luvenlis family, or...what was left of them..."
"Not everyone is linked to it." Regis sighed, "Some nobles were attacked while they were traveling before that. But, Camillia did manage to find out why he attacks only nobles... and she said "When I got my eyes on it, I felt to do the same." which means that those victims that you found out about were only there the wrong time."
Rey widened his eyes, "Really now? and what did she find? I've been wondering where she went off to since I left Luckwarden,"
"She found his lair and also found a way to communicate with him," Regis stated.
"I...see," He frowned, "Well, that's good news, she was able to get close better than I could," sighing in relief, "So is there more to be done, or am I to report back to Feoh?"
"Everything's good, you can go back to Feoh," Regis replied.
Reynold nodded, "Sounds good to me, there's something I need to ask of Lord Ruthven anyway," standing up and bowing, "It's been a pleasure, Regis, I pray we work together in the future," offering a handshake.
"Of course." Regis smiled as he shook Reynold's hand.
With that Rey turned and made his way out of the door, "Be sure to give Camillia my regards," and closed the door behind him.
"Now, I need to clean up this mess." Regis sighed before beginning to work on some papers.
Unknown location...
In a cave, the black dogs stood there nervously as their boss, Volt, flew straight into a pillar...
"All of this is your fault!" Xunaakt walked before picking Volt and then threw him violently to a wall, "Empty promises and only failure!"
Gideon, sitting nearby, sighed, "There couldn't be anything that could be done. Besides, We lost an Inquisitor and we need to get another!"
"Silence!" the Orc snapped, "If you weren't this useful, you would be dead!"
"Have you forgotten who gave you your weapons?" Gideon asked calmly, "I do keep some Ashes of War that can turn you into a pile of ashes that I can use to summon your spirit whenever I wish." Xunaakt growled as the Tarnished helped Volt to get up, "Do we make changes to the plans?"
Volt shook off his head injury, looking back at Gideon, "No, our invasion on Feoh will still happen as planned," he huffed, "I didn't know that Red Bastard was going to show up, just as you didn't know that the girl's father would...we got played, big time...we'll pay them back for it when we can..."
"How?!" Xunaakt roared.
"By being smart of course." Gideon looked at the Orc before adding, "We can have an infinite supply of weapons where I can put Ashes of War in. Moreover, they didn't find my research on the Scarlet Rot, and the ways to increase its potency. Which is destroyed by the Rot explosion that I caused-"
"Use simpler words!" the Orc snapped.
"What he means, is that I know someone that could help us with that, an old friend, Dong Zhuo, he can provide the weapons for us, he's already on board with the plans," Volt informed, "I can get in contact with him and have that done, so the next time, we'll be ready,"
"While you get the weapons, I'll go search for something that I read about not too long." Gideon said as he looked at the merc, "Also, keep these." giving him two flasks, "One heals you while the other one gives you mana to use the Ashes of War."
The black dog nodded, taking them, "Thank you, this will help for next time," turning to Xunaakt, "Once we have the weapons, I'll contact you, until then, do be patient..."
The Orc growled before walking away.
"Maybe we should search for another Orc King..." Gideon suggested with a low voice after making sure that Xuunakt was far.
Volt nodded, "In due time, he's the best shot we've got for now, at least until we get the weapons we need, then we talk about replacements, but we're playing "nice" for now," popping his shoulders, "I'm going to go contact Dong Zhuo if you found anything, let me know," turning and walking out of the cave.
"Of course." Gideon eyed Volt and turned to go somewhere.
Elsewhere...near Luvenlis household...
The last survivor, Stella finally made it away from the household, take a deep breath when she was far enough...
'By the goddess, looks like I wasn't followed, but...I hope that knight got away," She mused, looking around, finding lush trees 'Where am I?'
Heavy steps could be heard as an ogre walked in front of her.
She sweated, as it licked its lips at her, "Oh boy...this day just had to get worse...!" taking off towards Ur.
He easily grabbed her with one hand and tore her clothes with the other hand, causing her to scream.
"Be nice." he chuckled darkly before a machete pierced his heart from behind.
"Another disgusting pig dead." the killer was revealed to be an Orc, wielding two machete-like swords. He eyed the girl before throwing her a fur coat, "Go home, girl, this place is plagued by monsters like this one.
Shaking off her daze, Stella wrapped herself in the coat, sighing in relief, "Th-thank you, stranger...as for my home, it's not really mine anymore, I'll head to the city, see if I can't take refuge there," before once again, leaving towards it.
"And who's going to help you there?" he asked, "Once you step in, you'll become the prey of the men there."
She blinked at that, thinking about it, "You...have a point, what do you suggest?"
"I can escort you to a nearby village if you desire." the Orc pointed, "Although, if you don't want it, I won't force you."
Once again she thought about it, wondering about her choices, she could go to Ur for refuge, but knowing how the knights there are, made her shiver, she finally made a decision "A nearby village? I didn't know this, sure, why not? Not like I had family in Ur," with a smile, "Please, lead the way~"
"Well then, let's go." the Orc picked her up and placed her on his shoulder before walking toward the northwest.
Back in Ulak
Most of the crew, with the exception of Dargo and Recorder, who sat at another table near theirs... were sitting together with pie slices of their own choosing. The Redguard tried his slice, humming at the taste, "Okay, I see why you guys got distracted, all's forgiven, damn," going for another bite.
"See? And you were mad about us having pie time," Inigo chuckled.
Recorder snorted, "No, we were mad because you didn't bring anything back, we didn't mind that you guys went,"
"You couldn't have said that without punching me first?" Lucien frowned.
"I did say it, I just wanted to hit you first," She shot back.
Erik had another piece wrapped up while eating his own, "I can't believe they actually had that flavor here,"
"Believe it or not, I could come back here again," Yuri added, before thinking of something, "Almost curious where'd they get the milk to make it though? it's almost as sweet as the bakery back in the city,"
"Well, that's where they get the imported milk from and since there aren't actual cows around...you can take a few guesses," Lucien sweated.
Yuriana put it together, slowly nodding, "Well, that explains it..." taking another bite.
As they continued to eat, Lucien cleared his throat...
"So, what did you want to talk about boss?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, "You did say you'd get to that when we were all together,"
The Redguard paused from eating, sitting down the fork, eyes shadowed over, "That's right, and now that we are..." looking up at them, "It's time...we upped our skills and magic," with a smile.
To be continued
Omake...
Ken, the knight barracks...
A knight's training is harsh as they had to swing wooden swords as grain bags, a knight's training demands the will to succeed *Don't look at that knight paying gold to get promoted.*, a knight must show that he's serious at all times *Don't look at the sleeping knight who'll become one with the help of his noble parents.*.
A knight just got his badge as an official knight of the holy order.
"Finally after all this time and hard work, today is the day I'm finally deputized!" the young knight grinned to himself, looking around, 'Can't wait until I do my first mission, now...where is the briefing?'
An older knight stood in front of the newly appointed knights, "We got some reports that point out Dark Elven activities east of here. If anyone finds them, you know what to do."
The other knights saluted as the rookie did, breaking off for their assignments...
'Alright, so my first mission is to quell whatever activities the Dark elves are doing...sounds easy enough," The rook nodded, making his way to the stables.
"Here's your mount sir." a stable boy presented him... a beefed horse
The Rookie knight gulped, looking at the stacked horse, "Uh, thank you...?" going back to the horse, 'Goddesses mercy he looks intimidating, hope we get along...' Walking up to the horse and stroking the mane, he then climbed aboard the mount, surprisingly easy...
'Okay, he let me on him...so this might not be so bad...' he mentally sweated...
That was until he whipped the reins with a loud... "Hyaaah!" prompting the horse to rocket off in a direction, "Whooooaaaaahhh!"
Not too long before the horse stops without warning at a crossroad.
The new deputy gasped for air, barely hanging on, climbing back up to get a better look, "Okay, I was wrong..." looking around, 'Now if I remember correctly, I'm supposed to be going east so...' he pointed east, "Thata-way-heeeeeey!" the horse once again taking off in breakneck speed, 'This horse is going to be the death of me!'
The horse went along the way before stopping in front of a group of Dark Elves... that were lying on some grass.
The newbie frowned after regaining his composure, looking down at them, "Uh, excuse me? What are you guys doing down there?"
The elves remained immobile, not even answering the knight.
His frown deepened, and dismounted the horse; walking up to the downed elves to inspect them, finding them asleep.
'They're...sleeping? how is this a threat?' he mused, shaking his head.
The sound of approaching horses was heard by the knight.
He turned around and went wide-eyed at who the horsemen were "Um...can I help you guys with something?"
The horsemen being newly appointed knights looked at the elves and grinned, "You can step aside and let us do our duty, maybe even getting a good reward after dealing with those pointy ears."
The rookie rose an eyebrow, "Hold on, if they're just sleeping, then what's the problem? shouldn't we leave them alone?"
"Have you forgotten that any Dark Elf is our enemy and a heretic?" the knight dismounted his horse and with a warcry swung down on the elf only to have the said elf catching his hand.
"Fresh meat." the other elf was up and looking at the knights as dark armor began to manifest around them.
The rookie knight seeing this, backed away to his horse while the other fresh knights had their attention on the now-armored dark elves, quickly remounting his horse, "See? I told you we should've left them alone!"
One of the Dark Elves stabbed his sword into the ground, creating a wave of gravity that pulled the other knights while the other Elves circled them.
"Don't worry guys we can take them together, as our faith shall guide us!" One of the pulled knights shouted, turning around to find the horserider galloping off, "HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"
The rookie was halfway down the road, "Nope! I'm not staying for this! I'll uh...get some help! Yeah some reinforcements!" disappearing down the road.
Each elf pulled a different weapon, each with a different effect.
The other knights that remained, gulped at the weapons...
"GODDAMNED COWARD!" the same knight yelled, turning around with a gulp. "So...you know we were kidding, right...? we weren't actually going to do anything to you guys and your...very sharp and scary looking weapons..." sweating.
The rookie can only hear the pained screams of the other fresh knights.
"I'm so glad I'm not those guys right now," He laughed, "Guess it's time to report this in, let them know there wasn't anything noteworthy, should be enough...right?" riding back to Ken.
Omake End...
So I know it wasn't too long of a chapter nor did it have action or dog slaughtering, but stick around, I promise this gets better...also with the bombshell Traysek has dropped at the cliffhanger, what will that mean for the rest of the crew? You'll have to find that out next time on...RED DRAGON'S ROAR!
Author's final note: So, I finally got the lore guns as a mod myself (After losing my other mods) I found out I had the number of shots from each gun wrong (Not a surprise there lol) in a few chapters that will be addressed...
Guest: First of all, it wasn't even clear that the book came SPECIFICALLY from Skyrim, only that it was a book of Flintlocks and Rifles, along with the ammo crafting book...That book could've been used for the metals of that world, but because Traysek had it he employed the metals he had in his possession, go read the chapter again...
Cross: Hahahahah! nah, after the last issue the three of them had with the Gnolls, they're being more careful on who to cross and make enemies with outside of their actual targets, they'll still have their troubles, sure, but it'll be something they can't avoid at that point...
Also to the reviewer who wanted his orc character in...I'm still waiting for you to hit my inbox, is shiny and open...I'm willing to hear more about him.
Until then, see you all next time, and stay safe :)
