Shinta came to see Haruna in his room with multiple seals on the walls with formulas. However there was one that kept repeating Saitoteikā fuinjutsu it had a butterfly next to it with a shuriken on its wings. "What do you need?" Haruna asked, annoyed.
Shinta smiled and started excitedly ranting too fast for Haruna but he understood two words. "Well, my method of genjutsu is called odd. As I force my chakra through curse marks. Most other genjutsu is done by forcing chakra into the body of your opponent and entering a tug of war. Creating an illusion through the chakra you injected into them. Though honestly the easiest method is via sound and sight."
Shinta thought about it. "What if you used water with your own chakra?" Haruna raised a brow. "What if your opponent breathed in a steam cloud filled with your chakra?" Haruna thought for a moment, his eyes widened.
"Sure, there aren't many genjutsu that use steam as a conduit." He smirked. "So you need to create your own." He grinned and ran out.

Haruna did hand seals and breathed out a weak steam cloud. The five girls were playing Kunoichi and then they turned around to see a big bear that looked like a ugly bear. "NO!" Ruka stepped punched at the bear for a few seconds til she realized she wasn't hitting anything because she didn't feel the impact. "What is this?!" Ruka launched a fireball jutsu and Shinta jumped in using waterfall jutsu. She glared at him before getting a kunai out and attempting to stab him. "Where's the real Shinta?" She demanded throwing kunai at him.
"Why?" He asked worriedly, seeing the murderous glint in her eye.
"So I can stab him for tricking me!" He gulped terrified. "The real one didn't do this, it was um the clone in his room." She actually believed him and ran into Shinta's room and stabbed the shadow clone who was studying. She came out with a grin and the original just stared terrified of Ruka and being stabbed.
Shinta would practice his Genjutsu on his calmest sister. "So what do you think?" She punched the genjutsu version with it being launched a few feet. "I felt the impact, so it's better than that failure you used on Riku, also she said she will rip your head off if you try that shit again." He gulped and got back to studying more notes and the properties of metals.

A Root agent came to Danzo while he was looking over the list of next recruits, orphans and clan kids. "Sir Danzo." He placed the scroll to the side and looked at the tanuki masked Root agent. "Yes, speak." The deep voiced agent nodded. "Sir Danzo the chunin exams are coming and one of the Uzumaki children is showing a lot of propential and could be worthy of serving Konoha." Danzo's eyes squinted. "He might be perfect for a project clan killer." Danzo studied the Tanuki and nodded. "We can change the randomizer so he fights against as many clan kids as possible. Up to him to survive the trials." Tanuki nodded and body flickered.

The first part ended easily with the teams being separated and asked to pick a team member they would remove from the exams, with the entire team refusing and passing.
The team waited at the forest of death, all looking at the other Ninja. "So this is a Local chunin exam?" Ko asked to see some who were a few years older and others from their own year. "My mom said some people get killed on these." Hana's pups whined at the idea of their mistress dying. "Don't worry, we will be fine." She calmed the pups while Shinta scanned seeing teams made up of civilians, clans and then saw a team made up of Uchiha. "Hey wanna have an actual challenge?" The two other team mates looked at the trio, Ko smirked while Hana was unsure.
They got the earth scroll and ran into the forest of death. Ko and Hana monitored the uchiha while Shinta made a fake earth scroll.
The three Uchiha rested, planning who to attack first before, if out of heaven itself a earth scroll fell near them. "That was easy." One of them ran at it only for the scroll to open once picked up and tied him up. "What the?!" four passing fangs hit the other two before being hit with a gentle palm. Paralyzing the last two. Shinta came down looking at their work and took the scroll out of the tied up Uchiha. The three jumped back into the trees as they all sighed. "That felt." Ko finished the sentence. "Unsatisfactory." The other two of team Tsume sighed, annoyed at how easy it was. "I mean we're both genin so?" Shinta attempted to pep the other two but it didn't help. "Yea but Sensei basically trained us so much we're already physically chunin level." Hana said frustrated at the easy win.
"There will be a one on one, I bet that won't be easy." Shinta countered, and the morale went back up. "Yea, I just hope we won't have to fight each other." They then were ambushed by Itachi. "Oh hey, Itachi." He pulled out a kunai and so did Itachi both getting into a Kunai fight. "Let's just leave, we already have both scrolls!" They both jumped back. "You two wait at the tower, I'm beating this prig!" Itachi chased after the rest of team Tsume and used the great fire ball jutsu and Shinta used boil release: steam rocket to Launch himself in front of the fireball and countered it with the Great waterfall jutsu. The uchiha decided to find a better opponent, Shinta attempted to chase after Itachi before getting held back by Hana. "No, there's no point!" He got hit on the head for good measure. "We have bigger issues." They two turned to Ko who explained. "There are at least three teams heading here, we need to get away." Shinta sighed and they all headed to the tower only to get attacked by a different team, this continued with the original Team they got the earth scroll coming back with vengeance.
At the end they got to the tower in seven hours, all of them panting with torn clothes and few wounds. He made five hand signs "Boil release: mystic sauna!" He released a cloud of boil release that healed them and they all relaxed. "Where did you learn that?" Ko asked as he watched the wounds disappear. "Accidentally discovered it after being hit with a shuriken." He explained not giving away about the little curse he had. Hana sighed. "It's all your fault Shinta." He nodded, chuckling. "Yea I got hot headed, the massive steam cloud was a beacon for every idiot to go after us." After finishing the riddle they entered their rooms getting rested.
The proctor for the matches came and looked over the genin that passed. Hiruzen stood in front of the podium. "Now, you have successfully passed the second part of the chunin exams." He pulled out two pieces of paper from a box and he read it out. "Hana inuzuka vs Chika Aburame." Both her team members sucked through their teeth. "Itachi Uchiha vs Kizashi Haruno." They turned to see Adult genin with hair that looked like a Sakura flower. "Kasai Hisao vs Miki Hiro" The two were of civilian background and both were from the same team. "Nakagawa Fūma vs Ogata Izuno." "Tsuji Shimaru vs Ko Huyga." "Oki Uchiha vs Fujioka Uchiha" The Uchiha looked at eachother. "Fujioka Minori vs Hirota Kin" "Soga Noriko vs Taguchi Ryoko" "Amari Shinta Uzumaki vs Maekawa Akamichi" "Amari Nara vs Iseri Uchiha" He finished. "In a month the final exam will take place. Train and prepare for it, I know for some this isn't your first exam and for others it might be the last however you should still do your best." They all bowed to the Hokage and left the tower.
Shinta Forced his team to eat at Ichiraku to celebrate. "So you're back." Tuechi said radiating confidence. "Time for the greatest challenge you will take!" He placed the ramen in front of Shinta who after taking one bite said. "It's good." Tuechi deflated his answer. "I will have one." Ko said not realizing his failure. "Pork miso please. Can I get some extra for my Ninkin?" He nodded and prepared it, placing it in front of the genin.
Ko after taking one bite he fell to the ground breathing out fire. "Amature." He spoke as he took the bowl. "Shouldn't you ask him first?" Ayame asked, crossing her arms at the genin, the eight year old looked adorable. "Ko, is it alright if I finish your bowl?" Ko was in a lot of pain. "Teuchi we need a glass of milk." Ayame brought said glass and Hana poured it into the hyuga's mouth. "Are you still alive?" Ko nodded with his tongue hanging out. "I have never felt worse pain in my life. Take it you tongueless monster." He pushed the bowl to Shinta and chuckled before starting to eat.
"Have something else, I'm paying." Ko ordered the same as Hana and they started talking. "So how are you two going to train?" Hana asked as their orders came. "I will perfect the Sixty-Four Palms you two?" Hana crossed her stuttering. "I-I will have t-to train with my mom." They stuttered at that. "That sounds nice." Teuchi said the group gave each other knowing looks. "No offense but our sensei is a monster and she didn't allow us Any other mission than D. So Of course we have some negative feelings." Teuchi just laughed it off. "Shinta what are you going to do?" Ko asked suspiciously. "Gramps said he would teach a few Uzumaki Clan techniques and then we would go to the Shuten mountains. Okei is coming too so it should be fun? Can't find it on the map so I think it will be interesting." Hana just ate her food and Ko shrugged it off.
He was getting beaten with metal mace and kicked around. "Oh come beat those idiots up already!" Chitose said getting drunk with an Oni. "That boy's taking it well." Chitose nodded as the Uzumaki stood back up and launched into a spin kicking the two Oni in one boil release enhanced taijutsu attack. "Good! Better start teaching you some techniques before you plan on killing in rage." Shinta sighed, letting his boil release cloak to heal the damages, mostly the external ones before placing seals on the areas where he had broken bones so the seals could use the Healing curse to repair the rest. Another Oni was running at him about to swing his mace.
Okei Weaved hand signs "Alright first Uzumaki: whirlpool technique" He turned to the big guy and was caught in a swirling funnel of water launched into the air and then fell thirty feet above ground. "That's so cool!" He weaved the hand signs and did the same only that launched the Oni a few inches away. "Good, the stronger the opponent, the more chakra is needed for the jutsu." Shinta nodded and used the jutsu on the Oni rushing toward them. Launching it back and throwing him off his feet. "See, now we better get you a contract with the big Oni." Chitose ordered and they all climbed the mountain, all of them being attacked by some big and small oni. Then they saw a possession of Oni carrying food, Sake, and one gigantic boar to massive gates. "What are they doing?" Chitose pulled the younger member of the group and they all entered the cave of the leader of the Oni.
"How are you Lord Ootakemaru?"
The Uzumaki all bowed, While Shinta was shaking as they looked at the twenty feet tall muscle bound Oni with two blades stabbing into his chest. "You Uzumaki again? *sigh* I hoped you all were finally wiped out when I heard that fox being released." He said, scratching his bread. "So here to gloat about your great whatever grandmother sealing me to this throne?" He said glaring.
Chitose shook his head. "No Ootakemaru we simply need our boy here to sign the contract." The Oni picked his teeth with one of his sharp nails, and a massive scroll fell to the ground. "Thank you." He glared at Chitose before opening the scroll. "Every Uzumaki summoner has marked this scroll. Even if this isn't your main summon the option will be with you. Also don't Summon any yanari! Those little Oni are annoying to get rid of I swear! Oh before I forget here."
He threw something at Shinta. "A ring?" He pushed the hidden blade out. "Why a hidden blade?" He asked, a bit confused.
Okei explained. "Because it's easier than biting your finger and you can do it without someone realizing you're about to summon a rock Oni on top of them." He chuckled. Both staring concerned "Just cut your finger and sign it." He cut his finger, signed the scroll and it closed. Chistose took it and placed it behind the throne.
"Good time to go back home before one of them tries to eat us." He summoned himself, Okei and Shinta back to Konoha. "Good, no one turned into Oni did we?"
"Wait what?!"
The two screamed in horror. "I'm kidding, if you did then I would carve your face off so your mother doesn't murder me." He laughed, while the other two just glared at him and Shinta thought maybe tsuma wasn't the worst.
