Working in Good Hunter has never been easy, especially since it is one of the best restaurants in Mondstadt, so that is why many tourist come and go. I guess you could say that this is also part of training my body. Not only can does it make me aware of my surroundings since I have to move around while carrying something delicate, I also need to have the stamina to be able to do the same thing over and over, at first I was having a hard time and broke a few plates but now, I can even moved while carrying trays with two hands. I might get a job like this when I go back to the real world.
I have also been experimenting on the other statues, cause from what Amber said there are other statue of the Seven. I might go to the one near the Dawn Winery.
Right now Paimon and I are currently walking towards a statue that is in the middle of the lake.
"According to the map there is a statue here." Jaune said as he looked at the map that the knights provided.
"Hm... Oh! I think I see it!!! Over there!" Paimon point somewhere to which Jaune looked up from the map.
"Middle of a small lake... Yep that's it." Without further questions Jaune swam towards the statue.
"Hey wait!" Paimon's plea fell onto deaf ears as Jaune swam faster to the statue. As his hand touched the floor of the statue he pulled himself up.
"Alrighty." Jaune looked at the statue.
"Finally caught up!" Paimon said as she floated next to Jaune. Jaune used his wind to dry himself. He then walked closer to the statue.
"Phew... Here goes nothing." Jaune held his hand towards the statue. There he saw the cyan colored energy started to flow towards his arm then he felt it trying to burrow to his veins. Jaune's head was filled with another headache as Memories of those who held the statue flashes through his eyes. From what he has seen it was people who has the same type of Vision as him, the Anemo element or the wind element and most of them has either touched this statue and offered their prayer or have worshipped on the statue.
"It's feels bearable now unlike last time." Jaune felt his body relaxed as the energy continued to envelop his body mixing itself with his forcefield that Pyrrha called Aura, the manifestation of the soul. Then after the process the statue burst with cyan light and strong gust of wind burst from it moving the long grass and the water but surprisingly it didn't affect Paimon and Jaune.
"Are you alright?" Paimon asked as she checked on Jaune.
"Yes, I feel fine. Thank you for worrying." He pats Paimon's head as she let out a giggle.
"Now then! How about I cook some mushroom on a stick!" Jaune said to which Paimon cheered, Mushroom on a stick was the first ever food they have eaten together and it became their favorite snack whenever traveling.
"Alright!! Let's get some cheese to so we can melt it on the mushroom!" Paimon pumped her hand up as she floated faster.
"Jaune let's go so we can eat early!!" Jaune only smiled at her as he ran after her.
"Jaune Arc, A wanderer and he is a honorary member of the Knights of Favonious." One of the informant report to the person behind the desk.
"He is also has some sort of floating friend named Paimon, not much is know on her origin." Another one added
"Jaune Arc was also seen to have an adept understanding on different kinds of Blade works and Sword styles. Not only is his most used blade work looks the same as the Favonious bladework used by the knights but he has also shown to be able to used different style of Swordsmanship from all kinds of country. He has shown to have a proficiency on both Polearms and Bows, not only that he is a highly sought adventurer in the Adventurer's Guild managing to have a 80% success rate on the commissions he has taken."
"Then you add his proficiency on his Vision control and his fighting prowess. It was said that he manage to defeat 3 Ruin Guards without earning any injuries. I'd say he's could be a great ally but could also be worse as an enemy." The Informants finished their reports as the looked to the man behind the desk. It was Diluc Ravgnvindr, the Darknight Hero, Owner of Angel Share, the Batman of Teyvat, the riches man in Mondstadt.
"Thank for your reports you may take your leave now." Diluc gestured for the informants to take their leave. To which they did. Diluc massages his forehead as he tried to calm the incoming headache he's having.
"To think that such person would come to this place." Diluc muttered as he saw another document that the informants sent.
"The Fatui is also doing their own thing and trying to infiltrate Mondstadt. There is also the case of the missing Lyre." Diluc sighed.
"So many problems are popping all at once." Diluc leaned on his chair. As he went back on checking the earnings of the Winery. He then heard a knock from his office.
"Who is it?" Diluc asked.
"It's Adeline Master Diluc, someone wants to talk to you." Diluc sighed as he massaged his eyes.
"Let them in." There he saw a person wearing green and a hat colored green.
"What does the 3 time winner of "Mondstadt's Greatest Bard" wants with me?" Diluc straightens his gaze.
"Ahahaha! Well I just need a little bit of-" Another knock interrupted them.
"What is it this time?"
"A package from the Acting Grandmaster and Librarian Miss Minci." Adeline came in with a box and a letter. Diluc didn't hesitate to open the box after it was laid on his messy desk. In it he saw a dark red crystal.
Diluc tried to touch it but he fell pain.
"That's Dvalin's tear?" The Bard muttered to which Diluc heard.
"You know what this is?" He asked.
"Yes I have the same thing here." The Bard pulled out the same crystal.
"And I need your help in this matter, and for that I need the Holy Lyre." The Bard said.
"And why do you think I will help you? Give me a reason." Diluc drew his sword and aimed it at the Bard's neck.
"Will this answer your question?" The Bard started to tell the story of the Dragon, The sky dragon who answered the grave call of the inhabitants of Mondstadt. Who had a brutal battle against a wicked Dragon who wrecked havoc in Mondstadt years ago. Only to be poisoned by the venom of the wicked Dragon and fell into slumber, only to wake up with Grief and Hatred towards those who forgot about him. Hearing the story Diluc lowers his sword.
"Such story. So that's what happened and also the reason why one of the Four Winds hates the people of Mondstadt."
"Alright I'll help you with this but first we must inform the Acting Grand Master." To which the Bard nodded.
"Adeline send a message to the Acting Grand Master."
"And so I ask for your help on this matter." Jean read the letter.
"Such thing." Lisa was also there.
"So this bard has the information on how to purify Dvalin. And we need the Holy Lyre for it to happen, but with the Holy Lyre missing-" Lisa finished her words.
"We have no choice but to accept the Fatui's help."
"Such a headache to happen during this time." Jean held the letter up high. Only to see a hidden message.
"There a hidden message here."
"The Bard also informed me that the Fatui were the ones who stole the Lyre and My informants have managed to find where their camp is." Seeing the letter gave Jean and Lisa relief.
"The place is this." Lisa said as she pointed at the map.
"But that's on the side of the mountain yes. But there is also a cave there from what I've read."
"Alright let us go and meet with them in the Angel's Share first." Jean stood up and ran towards the door Lisa followed her.
"Ahh I feel full!!! It's a good thing Angel's Share lets people use one of their table even we don't order something." Paimon said as she laid on the table. Jaune and Paimon are currently on the second floor of the Angel's Share, enjoying their cheesy mushroom on a stick and some Mondstadt delicacies.
"While it's a shame I'm still underage to drink wine their Juices and Cider are the best I've ever tasted, shame I can't have the recipe for this." Jaune said as he drank the apple cider.
"Paimon I'm going to take a nap-" Jaune turned to his companion only to see that she fell asleep. Jaune grimaced but smiled as he pulled her cheeks.
'I guess it's good that she's carefree.' Jaune thought of the plans he has.
'I don't really have that much to do in this world so I better make a goal.' Jaune then thought of the different food this world has.
"I guess learning different cuisine of all the different nations ain't that bad of a goal." He smiled as he muttered his goal but then he heard the door of Angel's Share open. He also heard a bunch of footsteps.
Curiously he peeked his head on the stairs there he saw Diluc,Jean, Lisa and even Venti.
"So. You're telling us the Fatui was the one who stole the Holy Lyre?"
"Yes! I was there when they stole it!" Venti said.
"Wait so you snuck in the cathedral to get the Lyre?"
"Yes! Since they didn't let me have it when I asked nicely."
"This is giving me a headache." Diluc said as he shook his head, Jaune heard them discuss their plans on both how to get the Lyre back from the Fatui to infiltrating the Fatui camp. Jaune having none of it proceeded to go back up the stairs but as he was about to take his final step up, the wood creaked.
"WHO'S THERE!" Lisa yelled as she opened her Catalyst.
"Well... Um it'sa me...Jaune Arc." He faked laughed.
"You heard everything didn't you?"
"Yes."
"It's a good thing its you who heard it. Now back to he topic at hand, about that infiltration." Diluc grumbled but proceed to ignore Jaune's presence and went back to talking about his plans. Jaune just shrugged his shoulder as he went back to the second floor.
'It's been few days since those guys met in the Angel's Share I wonder how well did their mission went?' Jaune thought as he clear another Hilichurl camp, he can still feel the chills everytime her defeats a Hilichurls but because of his frequent commission being Hilichurl hunting he managed to get used to it.
"Hey Jaune, do you have any plans in the near future?" Paimon asked as she a draw some figures on the ground.
"Yes. I'm thinking on learning different cuisines from different nation of this world!" Jaune exclaimed which surprised Paimon.
"Is that so!?"
"Yep!"
"Then Paimon will accompany you and taste all the dish you make!" She said as she swung her arms up.
"That's my traveling companion!" Jaune said as he gave Paimon a high five. Jaune cleaned up after by burning the Hilichurl's Banner and makeshift huts. Walking down the hill he suddenly heard voices. Jaune and Paimon hid behind a tall bushes as they eavesdrop on the voices.
"We got all the tears but our next problem is how to purify them." Jaune heard one of the voices said.
"If only we have a solution for that." another voices answered. From the distance Paimon and Jaune were eavesdropping.
"These voices seemed familiar." Paimon whispered next to Jaune.
"Yeah. I think I've heard of these voices before." Not long after Jaune and Paimon saw the two people. It was Diluc and Venti.
"Diluc and Venti?!?" Paimon yelled to which Jaune slapped his hand on her mouth but the damage was done as the two said person looked at their general direction.
"Well well if it isn't Jaune and Paimon!" Venti merrily said as he skipped towards them.
"H-hello." Jaune greeted them with a nervous laugh as he got out of the bushes.
"So you guys we're the eavesdroppers, it's a good thing I didn't attacked earlier." Diluc said as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes and smirked.
"Good thing indeed." Jaune said as he awkwardly laughed. From behind Jaune Paimon then saw a tear like gem with crimson color floating behind Venti.
"What is that?" Paimon pointed curiously. Paimon tried to touch it but shee felt a repulsive force on his hand as his hand went closer.
"Ack!" Paimon swiftly withdrew her hand back as if she was shocked. She then saw Jaune looked curiously too, he tried touching it but Paimon stopped him by holding his hand back with her two small arms. But Jaune was still able to accidentally touch the said tear. But then they saw that the part that Jaune touched has turned clear light blue.
"Woah! Jaune! Can you touch it again?" Venti said as Jaune held the gem on his hand. the Crimson gem was now colored clear aqua color with a warm glow on it.
"Huh? Looks like we found a way to purify it." Diluc said in surprise. Without any delay they invited Jaune to go the Dawn Winery to purify the rest of the tears they've collected. After that endeavour they all met inside Diluc's office.
"We've managed to purify the tears, thanks to Jaune here." Diluc said as Lisa and Jean looked at Jaune.
"Huh? Yes?" Jaune questioned the two.
"Nothing." Lisa answered to which Jaune shrugged.
"Alright our next step is to go somewhere people won't see and far away from Mondstadt, I don't want people thinking that Stormterror is attacking again and I don't want deal with more casualties." Diluc said.
"Casualties?" Jean asked.
"Some of my men lost their lives cause of Stormterror."
"So it's worse than I thought." Venti said as he gathered all the tears and the Lyre.
"I will start immediately so we can quickly end Dvalin's suffering." Venti said as the Tears started to glow and glitter as it was slowly absorbed by the Lyre. Seeing what he was doing made everyone present look in awe. After this the Lyre glowed with ethereal cyan as it floated from Venti's hands.
"So it really is Holy." Diluc said as he admired the lyre while crossing his arms. He then looked on the ones present.
"Alright now that the lyre can be of use now, we must talk about the place where we will summon him."
"Somewhere that has no people near water and is a cliff would be the best place." Venti said as he tested the lyre's strings.
"Starsnatch Cliff is the best area to go." Lisa said as she pulled out a map.
"Not only is it far away from Mondstadt, people don't usually go there, it is also near the sea and is a cliff." She pointed at the map. Jean looked at the map same with Diluc and nodded.
"Perfect tomorrow morning we meet at Angel's Share, then we'll move out asap." Diluc then pointed as Jaune and Paimon.
"You two are included." He finished.
"Um.. Ok." Jaune said as he nodded.
"Is everyone here?" Diluc asked as he waited behind Angel's Share's counter.
"Jean and Lisa are still not here." Paimon said as she took a sip on her cup of cider.
"I wouldn't be surprised, Jean is the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonious while Lisa is the librarian." Venti raised his hand.
"Yes Venti?" Diluc asked.
"Why is Lisa late too? Isn't she just a librarian?"
"Lisa Minci is not only the librarian but also the unofficial advisor of the current Acting Grand Master. She oversee and reports to The Grandmasters Varka about some...Confidential things." Diluc finished.
"I see." Venti said as he stared at the Lyre.
"You seemed awfully serious?" Paimon asked as she floated near Venti.
"I'm worried about what would happen, will I be able to save him or will I fail?" Venti then felt a hand of his shoulder he saw Jaune looking serious as well after hearing Venti's self doubt.
"Just believe in yourself, I know you can do it." Jaune said as his hand parted with Venti's shoulder.
"Thanks." After this the doors on of the Tavern opened and revealed Jean and Lisa.
"Now that everyone is here let us go!" Venti said with enthusiasm in his voice but Jaune couldn't help but be worried for him.
Towards Starsnatch Cliff they sprinted in full force, Jaune getting used to the only way of transportation in this world followed.
Jaune thanked in his heart that his body managed to follow behind his companions.
As they continue running Jaune and the others finally saw the Sea.
"We're almost there." Diluc said as he ran Infront with his claymore strapped on his back. Jaune questioned how he was able to take the lead while carrying such weapon.
Arriving at the cliff they were greeted by the blue ocean sea. After they managed to catch their breath Diluc looked at Venti and nodded, Venti nodded back as he ready the lyre.
Beautiful and Calming tunes entered the ears of the people present as Venti continued his playing. After the song the cliff rumbled as strong winds burst forth from the cliff there they saw the blue dragon in all his Majesty, A blue body with wing of glowing cyan but the thing that caught most of their attention is the ominous colored crystal on his back.
"What has been done cannot be undone." the dragon said as he faced Venti.
"Dvalin.." Sadness is what filled Venti's eyes as he saw the state of his old friend.
"Barbatos-" The dragon was interrupted as a sharp ice shard raced towards the lyre. Jaune being the closes opened his shield to block the ice protecting both Venti and the Holy Lyre in the process. Jaune clicked his tongue as he slip a bit due to the power behind the ice.
"Do not be fooled. Dear dragon, He has left you to rot! Alone! Now he attempts to deceive you once more!" a small floating monster floated from the dragon's back.
"An Abyss mage!" Diluc said as he drew the claymore, Jean followed by unsheathing her sword and Lisa pulling out a catalyst.
"YOU DARE!! YOU DARE!!!!! YOU DARE DECEIVE ME AGAIN BARBATOS!???!!!" The Bard was blown back due to the wind pressure the dragon released during it's roar.
"No! Wait! Please listen to me-!" Venti bellowed but the wind started to get stronger and tornadoes started to form.
"Damn it!" Diluc stabbed his claymore to the ground as he tried to stay on ground, he held Jean's right wrist to get her to stay on the ground while Lisa and Paimon held onto Jean's left arm.
Jaune being Infront tried to retaliate using his own wind but his wind was quickly disposed of by the dragon's wind.
"The monster is charging an attack!" Jaune yelled as he too stabbed his sword on the dirt and ready his shield. Lisa put her right hand Infront of her as she aimed at the Abyss mage.
"Go on, dragon! Destroy them!" The mage said as it aimed it's staff towards Venti and the others but then a streak of light surged towards the mage breaking it's staff in the process.
"Now!" Diluc yelled as Jean used her anemo vision to counter the wind that Dvalin was emitting then Venti also used his winds to help her.
"Blast me towards the crystal!" Jaune yelled as he stood Infront of Venti with his shield up. Venti looked towards Dvalin then to Jaune as he nodded. Venti created some sort of vortex on his palm and charged it towards Jaune.
"The mage is still alive!" Lisa yelled as she saw the mage shoot Jaune in the back but Diluc used his flame and claymore to melt and block the ice.
"I'm ready!" Venti said as Jaune braces himself. Then Venti put his palm on Jaune's Shield and Jaune Blasted towards Dvalin. With a strong momentum Jaune hit the crystal with his back. And without hesitation stabbed his sword filled with aura on the crystal. The sword dug into the crystal like butter as the dragon roar and flailed. The crystal slowly dissipate into a purple dust.
The dragon continued to scream as it flew to the skies.
"Jaune!" All of them yelled as they saw the blonde held on for dear life on the back of the dragon.
"This is? Huh?" Jaune confusingly looked at the vision in front of him, there he saw the Dragon Dvalin and a person in white with white wings and a lyre.
"Venti?" Jaune questioned but the vision continued. Jaune saw how the dragon and the archon talked with each other, How they have fun with the other Winds, how they felt with lost and new friends they've met and how they protected the people of Mondstadt from darkness. From there Jaune saw the corruption that affected Dvalin, the hatred, the sadness and the loneliness he felt as the corruption slowly ate him away. Until he was only the shadow of his former self. But then Jaune saw him, Dvalin staring at him.
"You are.. the person that is with Barbatos.." The dragon said as he went closer to Jaune.
"I.. have a request."
"What is your request?" Jaune asked as he saw the dragon cry.
"Save me from this misery." The dragon lowered his head as purple chains appeared on his body and a new dragon appeared it was filthy and Creepy that it gave Jaune chills just by looking at it. The dragon was only bones but has purple black tar on its body and purple miasma surrounding it.
"Such thing exist?!" Jaune yelled as he ready himself.
"Indeed. Durin the Black Dragon or Shadow Dragon, and a Victim of Circumstances. I was accidentally exposed to his blood during my fight with him 500 years ago."
"What should I do?"
"You have to power to purify this poison, all you have to do is to channel that power of yours towards Durin and purify him this freeing me from his poisonous blood." The dragon explained as the chains bounding him became tighter
"Got it!" Jaune said as he ran towards the black dragon. The dragon used it's sharp claws to swiped towards Jaune but he dodge it by hair's breadth. The black dragon roared as some sort of purple Haze gathered in it's skeletal mouth.
"PROTECT YOURSELF WITH YOUR POWER." Without any hesitation Jaune flared his enormous amount of Aura to defend himself and Dvalin against Durin's Breath. The purple hue turn into golden dust as it floated towards the chains that are binding Dvalin.
"Such power..." The chains binding him slowly began to loosen after it was expose to the golden dust. Jaune seeing that the black dragon was weakened for a bit dashed towards it with his sword out but before gets any closer he was hit by a claw and fell on the ground his sword and shield breaking in the process. The black dragon charged another breath as Jaune struggled to stand.
"NO!" Dvalin tried to break free from the remaining chains but he still couldn't. The purple breath rushed towards Jaune, who closed his eyes waiting for the pain to come. But it didn't come. There Infront of him stood a person, a knight who blocked the purple breath with the rotation of his spear.
"You are?! You're the knight who threw the spear on the skeleton dragon!!" The Knight nodded as he gave Jaune a small smile. He then saw a woman who has flowers floating around them. Seeing the control on the wind reminded him of the vision he first saw when he arrived on Beacon and many more visages stood infront of him as they're protecting him from the black dragon.
All the visage turned into orbs of cyan lights as they floated towards Jaune. Then he saw a spear, a spear with a blue blade, it's shaft is pure white brimming with power the spear floated infront of Jaune. Dvalin saw the spear from where he was binded.
"That spear..." Dvalin remembered the human who destroyed Durin's wing a mortal whose life was fleeting with desperate attempt to protect his homeland threw his spear with all his might and will. The spear flowed through the wind so powerful it managed to briefly tapped the power that is closer to an Archon. From then on Dvalin honored humans who went pass their limits and swore to protect the humans so that their potential shall not be wasted. And Infront of him he saw another mortal surpassing the limits. Deep inside of Dvalin something clicked a feeling of shame on forgetting his promise and Jealousy due to the determination humans showed and last Determination to surpass himself.
'If those humans can surpass their current self then I shall go beyond my current self.' With his pride and determination the Anemo power surrounding Dvalin erupted Teal colored aura surrounded him as the chains of the abyss slowly cracked due to the pressure that the aura is emitting. Dvalin roared and struggled to break free and slowly but surely the chain broke.
The Anemo Dragon moved towards Jaune as Jaune held the spear in his hand.
"From here on out I shall help you." Dvalin said as he gave his overflowing Aura to Jaune.
"Defeat Durin to purify this poison or else Mondstadt will fall." Jaune's body flared with White and Teal Aura as it flowed towards the Spear in his hand.
"Ready your arm and throw when I says so,I will assist you do not worry." Jaune did as he told as he ready himself. The two colored Aura is now covering the spear he was holding.
"NOW!" Dvalin roared as Jaune let the spear loose. The spear turned into a beam of white and Aqua blue as it flew towards the black dragon. The black dragon countered with its breath but it was futile as the Aura purified it. The dragon then tried to fly away but Dvalin's winds restricted it's movements. The black dragon roared in pain as the spear pierce it's chest the Aura started to creep all over it's body as it slowly turned the black tar dragon into a Golden dragon. The golden dragon looked at Jaune and Dvalin as it gave them a nod to show it's gratitude and then the Dragon turned into golden dust as it was scattered
by the wind.
"Diluc! Dvalin is coming back!" Jean yelled as they saw the blue dragon flying towards them. The abyss mage laughed as it saw Dvalin.
"Haha! You have failed! You will all suffer here!" The mage said as it floated.
"You together with Mondstadt shall fall today!" The mage said as it continue to laugh.
"What do you mean by that?!" Jean said as she pointed.
"The abyss has sent an army of Hilichurls towards your home and now that you have failed to quell the dragon your country will fall!!" Dvalin then stopped on the cliff as the wind blasted everyone back. He then looked towards the mage.
"Is that so? Then I as the member of the Four Winds shall go forth and protect my home." Dvalin said as he laid Jaune Infront of his companion.
"Take care of this child Barbatos, I will go protect Mondstadt." After saying so the dragon took off to the skies.
"Hah! Looks like we succeed." Paimon said as she gave the mage a smirk. And Diluc from behind her charged his Pyro vision.
"Burn." He said as he swung his claymore a pyro phoenix flew towards the Mage who just stood there dumbfounded.
"Hah!" I heard our fearless leader wake up.
"You alright Jaune?" Pyrrha asked him as she saw him take a deep breath.
"Yeah. I felt like I fell from a high place." Fearless leader chuckled as he sat from his bed. But I can see that he is Abit unnerved.
Compared to what the others think I Nora Valkyrie is quite observant! I mean I already know that Pyrrha has the hots for our fearless leader, same with Ruby though on Ruby's note it feels more like a big brother kind of affection than that kind of affection.
Which is understandable since Jaune is really great company. Not only that he is strong. Like very strong. But something has been bothering me lately especially during the night. Cause sometimes fearless leader mutters in his sleep sometimes.
Like that time he muttered something I didn't understand. But that is not what's been bothering me it actually the fact that Jaune's Aura is getting stronger and stronger everytime he sleeps, though it's not unheard that Aura becomes strong but it's through fighting and using it everyday that it becomes strong but with Fearless leader he just sleeps and his Aura is strengthened.
His Aura is so strong that it can heal any injuries so fast you won't even noticed it. Not only that thanks to this he became an absolute tank. His Aura can even tank my hammer!!! I'm so jealous!!! Raaaaghh!
"Uhh Nora are you ok?" I heard Ren beside me asked as I saw that I was standing Infront of my pancakes pulling my hair.
"Nope nothing! Don't worry Renny!"
"Lies. we can when you're lying and when you're not." Pyrrha said as she gave me a smile.
"Tch. Yeah ok something is bothering me lately."
"And that is?" Fearless leader asked.
"YOU!"
"YOU!" Nora pointed at me as I stopped chewing my breakfast.
"Me?!"
"Yeah! I'm so jealous why is Aura so strong!!! You're the same age as me!"
"Well Uhh training?"
"Liar! I saw it when you're sleeping your Aura started to climb up and now you even have this teal colored aura surrounding your white aura!"
"I don't know? Ok! I just sleep."
"Alright you two quiet down everyone's looking at us." Pyrrha said as me and Nora looked around.
"Nora let's talk about it later it's weekend today so we can go out to Vale." Ren said as he cut one of her pancakes and fed it to her.
"Man you two really need to start dating." I thought as I saw my three teammates look at me.
"What?" I saw the red face Nora and a facepalming Ren- No wait his ears are red.
"I said that out loud didn't I?"
"Yes."
"Sorry, anyways let's talk about our plan for today. From what I've heard from Ruby team RWBY will be going to Vale to have a team bonding. I didn't see Blake with them though. I think we should go and do this team bonding too." I said as I saw Ren has snapped out from what I said earlier.
"I agree with this, but we don't know what each of us like. So team bonding might be difficult."
"Well why don't we start with that? Things we like to do?" Pyrrha suggested.
"That would be Ideal. Alright let's start with Nora." I said as Nora sit up straight.
"Well I like Pancakes, hanging out with Ren, Did I already said Pancakes? Oh! And Breaking legs!" We all sweat dropped at what she said.
"Alright. Who should go next?"
"How about you go next Jaune?"
"Me? Hmm... Sure! let's started with my likes I like to cook and try different kinds of dishes, I like to train and meditate, Reading is also one of favorite pass time but right now I mostly read about strategies and how to lead, last is I like to help people." I smiled as I said those.
"Well I go next!" Pyrrha said Abit excited.
"I like to train and Meditation too, And weapons Maintenance, I also like to help people."
"Wow Pyr do you have like any hobbies?" I asked
"Well... Not really." She scratched her cheeks.
"We can get you new hobbies after this!!" Nora said she finished her Tower of Pancakes.
"Looks like I'm the last one." Ren said calmly.
"Same as you two I also like meditating it... calms me down." Ren said with a smile.
"I also like reading, I like quiet places and cooking."
"And Nora?" I teased.
"Jaune please." Ren put his hand on his face as his ear went red.
"Aww you're blushing."
"Jaune..."
"Haha! Sorry sorry. Anyways I'll explained later why my aura is getting stronger first is for us to have our own team bonding." I said as I finished my breakfast.
"Let's see here I've been wanting to try some recipes but I don't have the time so why don't go shopping for ingredients for cooking dinner first then we can have our team bonding in our dorm?"
"That actually sounds acceptable." Ren said as Nora and Pyrrha nodded.
"Alright it's decided then we're going shopping for ingredients."
"Ooh!" Nora yelled as Pyrrha laugh and Ren smiled. This going to be a great day. I thought.
"This is the worse day" Ruby said as they continue walking on the commercial area of Vale.
"Blake's been gone since yesterday." She added.
"Blake's a big girl I'm sure she can handle herself." Weiss said with a bit of a mocking tone.
"And she's one of our teammates." Yang said.
"I mean is she? We all heard what she said."
"Weiss."
"Maybe she is, maybe she isn't either way we need to find her."
"A member of the White Fang? Right underneath our noses."
"I just hope she's ok." Ruby continued walking and started shouting Blake's name.
Walking around they continued shouting and asking people if they have ever seen a girl with a black hair and black ribbon.
"Weiss you're not helping."
"Oh? You know who might be able to help? The police."
"Weiss..." Ruby grumbled.
"What? It's just an idea." Weiss said to which Ruby replied.
"Yeah. A bad one."
"It's best for us to hear her side of the story before jumping into any conclusions." Yang said.
"When you do hear you're going to see that I was right."
"I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today."
"AH PENNY WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!"
"Salutations! What are you guys up to?"
"We're looking for our friend Blake."
"Oh the faunus girl!"
"How do you know that?"
"The cat ears?"
"What cat ears?"
"AAAHH JAUNE??! WHERE DID YOU COME FROM??!!"
"Uhh hi? Anyways team Juniper is currently shopping for some ingredients later at dinner me and Ren are going to have a cooking competition."
"Cooking competition- You can cook?!" All of team Ruby plus Penny asked.
"Uh yeah? What's wrong with it?"
"If I'm going to be honest most of the male Huntsmen and Huntsmen in training I know can't cook." Yang said.
"Really?" Ruby asked.
"Yep dad can't cook remember? The only reason he can cook is because he trained hard for it even though I'm a much better cook than him."
"Oh that is true even uncle Qrow can't cook."
"Anyways what are you guys up to And who is she?" Jaune pointed at Penny.
"Salutations! I'm Penny! Nice to meet you uhh?"
"Jaune Arc it's nice to meet you Penny." Jaune held out his hand. To which Penny shook.
"We're looking for Blake."
"Huh? Wait what happened?"
"There were a few... arguments about things..."
"I won't pry anyways if you guys need help just message me or my teammates we'll come running for our sister team. Also it's nice to meet you Penny, now where can I buy those strawberries." Jaune walked off.
"Hm.. I like him!" Penny said to which Ruby sputtered.
"Ehem we talk about Jaune later for now we must find Blake!"
"...Oke!" Hearing this made Ruby relieved which was not gone unnoticed by Yang.
She then looked at Jaune from afar and squinted her eyes.
"Are we all here?" Jaune asked as everyone said yes.
"Alright let's back now. It's night now." Ren said as they streetlights started to open.
"What are going to cook Jaune?" Pyrrha ask which made Nora and even Ren curious.
"I'm thinking on making Crispy Potato Shrimp platter, lighter-that-air pancake, Flaming Red Bolognese and Pile-em up.
"I know the other 2 but Lighter than air pancakes and Pile-em up? What kind of dish is that?"
"Oh lighter than Air pancake is a recipe my friend taught me while the Pile-em up is a dish with steaks pile up to each other it's more of a main course."
"Can we even eat all those?" Ren asked.
"Let's invite Team RWBY so that we can all eat together." They then heard an explosion towards the docks.
"That's not good." Pyrrha said.
"Ren get out groceries to a delivery office so we it can be delivered to Beacon. Pyrrha contact our professors right now. Nora with me were going to the docks Pyrrha wait for Ren then follow. Is that clear?" Jaune issued his orders.
"Yes!" all of them said in seriousness and did what they were ordered to do.
"This isn't good." Ruby said as she saw a blonde monkey faunus Infront of Roman Torchwick.
"Hey!" Ruby shouted making Torchwick turned towards her.
"Penny stand back." Ruby turned to Penny who was behind her. Only to be shot by Torchwick.
Ruby got blasted back.
"Ruby!" Penny heard a familiar voice.
"Nora help the faunus!" There Penny saw Jaune and Nora. Nora shifted her hammer into a grenade launcher and started firing towards Torchwick. Jaune landed next to Ruby.
"Are you alright?" He asked her.
"I'm fine, my Aura soaked the damage."
"Thank goodness, provide fire support I'll help Nora and the Faunus." Jaune jumped of the roof.
"Kids these days are getting weirder and weirder." Torchwick said as he redirect Nora's hammer. While Nora joyfully swung it towards the said man. With the right angle he managed to push Nora away, He aimed towards her as he smirk seeing the monkey faunus behind her. As he was about to pull the trigger his cane was shot off his hand. He looked towards the where the shot came from.
"Damned Red!" Torchwick ran for his only weapon as Nora and the Faunus returned to their bearings. Nora rushed towards him but was pulled back by the Faunus.
"Why did you-" Nora was cut off as she saw some Bullhead gunfire on her former position.
"Thanks um."
"Names Sun Wukong."
"Thanks Sun." Nora looked around and saw that some containers are almost falling. With a perfectly timed shot the containers fell on one of the bullhead. Crashing it to the ground.
"Gotcha!" She saw Jaune going for Torchwick who already retrieved his weapon.
"Let's handle the White Fang reinforcements." Nora said in seriousness to Sun.
"On it." Sun got his staff out as they look towards the Bullhead.
"Tch." Torchwick clicked his tongue as Jaune blocked his attack.
Jaune who forgo his shield moved with swiftness uncommon to someone his stature.
They exchanged bouts for how many times now and is still in the stalemate.
"Persistent!" Torchwick tried kicked Jaune but Jaune flicked his leg away with his left hand that made Torchwick lose balance.
And with a grapple he learned from one of his vision he disarmed Torchwick while also breaking his Aura due to the Wind powered punch.
Jaune then hoist the unconscious Torchwick towards the entrance of the port where he saw the red and blue lights.
"I'm tired of fighting I wonder when can I catch a break." Jaune grumbled as he continued carrying Torchwick.
Ozpin looked at the kid named Jaune Arc who exhibited a great amount of fighting experience, strong and versatile semblance and leadership that can only be found in adults with experience in the field. He then switch the camera to Ruby Rose, a silver eyed warrior, still childish but the potential is there. He sighed as he massaged his eyes.
He then saw a message from Qrow Branwen.
"The Queen has pawns." Another sigh escape his mouth.
"Torchwick got arrested." A dark brown haired woman said as she sat Infront of a girl with green hair and a man with silver hair.
"Now what?" The silver haired man asked.
"We moved forward, Torchwick's little partner will take care of him. We will proceed to infiltrate Beacon and hack the CCT. Just like how we planned and if I'm being honest we already have enough dust for a big explosion though our partnership with the White Fang might end a bit sooner than planned."
"Yeah. I mean we got a lot of their members arrested due to Torchwick's failure."
"Who did he lose to again?" the green haired girl asked.
"That Silver eyed girl." The dark haired woman answered.
"Anyways enough about Torchwick with us infiltrating Beacon our plan will leap by a large margin."
"Now then have you two gotten your IDs?"
"Yep got it here Boss."
"Mine is here to Cinder."
"Good. Now let's go." Cinder said as she walked forward towards the ramp of the ship.
I racked my brain on making this chapter, I hope you guys enjoyed it.
Anyways idk what to do next if I'm being honest since I was mostly thinking on ending this on Mondstadt and Volume 1 But I feel like Vol 1 Abit dry since RWBY vol 1 actions are the mostly small battles like the initiation, the forever fall and lastly the docks.
Since this is a Jaunecentric fanfiction I will mostly focused on Jaune. Now that I finished the Mondstadt quest I'm thinking on making the next chapter focus on Remnant and not on Teyvat.
