It was a dark and stormy night. In the woods near Savannah City, a mysterious presence roaming the woods came across the broken cube that facilitated transport between Earth and Cubalia. Though recently, the presence had heard that the cube was broken, meaning that nothing could be sent through. But the presence soon saw a light emanating from the cube, from which something emerged. Fearing for its life, having bad memories of the cube, the presence fled quickly, before it could see that the one coming through the cube was seemingly a very scrawny grey-haired gorilla, dressed in casual clothes. "So, this is Earth.", the gorilla commented. "It's been a while."

And far above Earth, on the Hunters' ship, Cuborg was presenting his latest choice for obtaining the Cubezords, in the form of Gobble Gator. This creature was a pink reptilian alien sporting a metal loincloth and a gladiator's helmet, glove and boots, with an elongated, skeletal mouth that had a box with the coin slot at the tip of his nose. "Analysis! Gobble Gator has a voracious appetite and 7 separate, yet simultaneously active stomachs. Conclusion: He will devour the entire Earth to discover the hiding places of the Cubezords."

"Or he'll simply devour them along with the planet.", Archris commented. "How can I be sure of his reliability?"

"Revelation! Gobble Gator is merely meant as a decoy to lure out the Power Rangers. From there, I shall engage them in battle and use the accrued data on them to ensure defeat and the acquisition of the Cubezords." He then pressed on a console, replaying footage of the prior battles with the Rangers, in particular the various attacks they utilised.

"My, you have thought this plan out.", Keldor commented, sincerely praising his comrade. "And I assume that unsightly installation on your beast's nose…"

"Call it his insurance.", Ignoblia answered. "If, by some miracle, the Rangers overpower or outsmart him, then I'm to enlarge Gobble Gator and have him eat them."

"Conclusion! I either defeat the Rangers, or ensure their defeat.", Cuborg stated.

The next morning, down on Earth, the 5 Rangers had woken up and were in the midst of breakfast, when the news started blaring. "…reports of an ape wearing human clothing walking the streets have been coming in for most of the night. One person even took this picture of the mysterious figure, but its veracity cannot be confirmed." The newscaster then changed into a blurry figure of what, sure enough, looked like a gorilla in human clothes.

"I don't see what the big deal is there.", Lenny commented. "Aren't apes in clothes the norm on this planet?"

"There's a world of difference between a human and a gorilla in clothes.", Trunks pointed out. "One of them's better looking, for one."

"This is probably some kids pulling a prank for attention.", Marina said, voicing her thoughts on the situation.

"I don't know.", Tora said in response. "He looks… kind of familiar."

"I thought so too.", Grandma Rose added, before dismissing it. "Probably a costume from TV or something."

As she turned away to leave the room, the newsreader spoke up. "We interrupt to bring you a breaking news story. Another of the Alien Hunters has chosen to attack Savannah City." The footage then cut to Gobble Gator chewing his way through a skyscraper. "This one appears to be devouring buildings, who knows for what sinister purpose?"

Johnny turned the TV off. "I think we can guess the purpose and we know what to do."

"No rest for the weary.", Tora sighed as everyone got up and departed the building to head towards town, unaware hey were being watched.

Soon enough, the group reached town, where Gobble Gator was still making his way through the buildings, when he saw them. "Geez, where'd they pick this alligator freak up? The gladiatorial sewers?", Johnny said, trying to make a joke. It didn't elicit much of a response.

"Regardless, he's still a threat, and we should stop him.", Trunks stated. "Let's go."

"Primal Spirits, Awaken!" Everyone initiated their morph. But before they could attack, they were shot backwards by beams of energy. "Observation!" A new voice called out. "The feint worked exactly as calculated." The figure of Cuborg then walked up to join with Gobble Gator. "Objective! Achieved."

"Oh great, they've sent down two rank and file grunts.", Marina bitterly commented. "Are we that special?"

"Correction! I am no 'rank and file grunt'.", Cuborg announced. "Introduction! I am Cuborg, Archris's General of Strength. Declaration! I shall defeat you here and now."

"Good luck with that.", Lenny declared. "I bet we'd have a harder time beating up your minion over there than you."

"Challenge! Accepted.", Cuborg nodded. "New Orders! Gobble Gator, attack!"

And thus, a fight began between the Rangers and the Gobble Gator. Trunks and Marina grabbed onto his body, with the other three delivering a scratch attack. The beast then broke free from their grip and faced down the Rangers. "Alright, new plan.", Tora decided. "Me and Lenny will go from behind, while you…" Gobble Gator then turned and ran off to continue devouring buildings. "…run away, I guess?"

"Results! Inconclusive.", Cuborg commented. "Original challenge! Commence." He then leapt over to Tora and Trunks, delivering charged punches that knocked them back. He then turned back to Lenny and Marina, generating a gust of wind that knocked the pair back. When Johnny tried using his Chain Saber to attack, Cuborg summoned his own sword to block the attack. "Predictable." He then slashed Johnny back, before doing his own powered slash attack that knocked all of the Rangers out of their Morph. "Observation! Pathetic. None of you can hope to counter me."

But before he could finish off his opponents, a new figure leapt in front of them, scooping up Johnny's Morpher in the process, before revealing that he was a grey-furred gorilla. "Step away from them!", he declared to Cuborg.

"I don't believe it.", Johnny gasped. "The gorilla man is real."

"He's not just any gorilla man.", Marina recognised him. "It's Sir. Caesar."

Cuborg had more of a bemused reaction. "Analysis! You seem to be of a much greater age than these others. Question! What do you hope to accomplish?"

"My intentions are simple.", Sir Caesar answered as he filled the Morpher with his own energy. While this didn't result in any physical change, when he opened the device, he dialled the number 6. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!" He then completed the image of the Ranger logo, changing into a new red Ranger, who bore magnificently sized muscles, along with a silver mouthplate with a painted mouth on it. "Fury of the Jungle, Wild Fury Gorilla Ranger!"

The 4 Animen were amazed by his Morphing. "So that's Sir Caesar's Ranger form.", Tora said with excitement. "It's so cool."

Sir Caesar then began flexing his new muscles. "Prepare yourself to face justice, villain!" He then charged forward and delivered a few punches that managed to knock Cuborg back, but failed to knock him down or out. "Don't like that, huh? Well here's another one." He then leapt forward to deliver a much slower punch…

…but Cuborg's sword was able to block the blow. "A noble gesture, but in the end foolish." Cuborg then slashed Sir Caesar down, reverting him to human. "Decision! You will be reprieved for several hours, due to the excitement of defeating you. Warning! But, your destruction is still imminent. Be prepared." With that said, he teleported out.

With the immediate danger over, everyone except Johnny ran over to their saviour. "Sir Caesar, are you okay?", Lenny asked.

"I'm fine.", Caesar insisted. "But what I'd like to know is what you've been doing on this planet? I'm sure I trained you better than this."

"Will someone mind telling me what's going on here?", Johnny asked. "Who is this guy anyway?"

"I suppose some explanations are in order.", Caesar answered him. "But not here. Do you have somewhere we can convene?"

Back on the Hunters' ship, Cuborg returned. "You had them right where we could deal with them, and you chose to leave?", Keldor asked.

"Explanation! The arrival of the ape Animan derailed my attempt to terminate the Rangers.", Cuborg answered. "Intention! Next time, I shall ensure there are no distractions."

"And how do you intend to do that?", Archris asked. "After all, you allowed your own pet to run free throughout the human world."

"Question! Why do you think I allowed the Gobble Gator to roam free?" Cuborg then presented video footage of the beast chewing through his chains in a cell, before running towards cardboard cutouts of the Rangers, chewing through them with considerable ease. "Demonstration! I have trained him to focus his insatiable appetite by marking targets with the scents of the Rangers' civilian states. He will follow their trail until he finds them and devours them."

"And with the Rangers gone, the Cubezords will be ours for the taking.", Ignoblia surmised. "An excellent strategy."

Back on Earth, Gobble Gator had made his way to Mrs. Mack's thrift shop. "Now, now. I don't want any trouble. We're currently closed.", Mrs. Mack begged. Gobble Gator sniffed his way towards a shelf with an antique vase and began to devour both. After it was done, the alien continued its sniffing, breaking through the door and continuing its search. "Things are getting weird here.", the woman noted as she sat down to drink her coffee.

Back at the zoo house, Sir Caesar was seated in the living room. "Is it really wise to bring him here?", Marina skied Johnny. "What if your grandma gets back and sees him?"

"She won't.", Johnny assured her. "She takes 40 minutes to do her grocery run and she set off 5 minutes ago. We've got enough time for a story. For starters, who is this Caesar guy?"

"He's… the one who taught us how to be Planetary Guardians.", Marina answered. Back when we were kids."

"I was more than that.", Sir Caesar took over. "In my youth, I was one of the Planetary Guardians, during which I accrued an impressive list of feats. I thwarted 27 alien invasions, resolved 16 conflicts between warring clans and found a way to fix housing issues. And after I retired, like Marina here said, I went on to begin training new recruits to follow in my stead."

"You were always a lot more personable than Jeremy was to us.", Tora commented. "I was kind of glad when he vanished and you were able to take more direct control of our training."

"Ah yes, one of my most mixed students.", Caesar said in response. "He took to the combat training well enough, but he wasn't able to forge bonds with the other recruits. And then he disappeared into the cube one night, along with those friends of his."

Trunks was confused by this new information. "Wait, Jeremy brought others with him? He never mentioned that."

"You mean he was all alone when you found him on this planet?", Sir Caesar responded to this information. "Interesting. Especially that you've seen him on this planet. Where is he?"

"I'm afraid we don't know that for sure.", Lenny answered. "The last time we saw him, he went off and didn't tell us where he was going." He then realised something. "Speaking of Animen being on Earth, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, when I heard that the Council had assigned 4 of my students to travel to Earth as part of a debt to a human, I felt that I should go after you to catch up with your mission so far and give a progress report. Though I had no idea where to find you, so I had to wait for these Space Hunters to launch an attack."

"Well unfortunately, you can't make that report just yet.", Trunks informed him. "The portal receiver on this end was damaged, which makes it impossible to send anything through right now. Fortunately, it seems that the cube is repairing itself somehow."

"Which will fortunately, allow us to give you a better review of our activities.", Marina added. "Because believe us, we weren't prepared for that Cuborg guy to show up. He was in another league entirely."

"I'm aware of that.", Sir Caesar nodded. "He's someone far greater than the type of threats I was instructed to prepare you for. If I was still in my prime, I likely could have matched him. But as I am, I've been out of the game for so long I'm not sure I even recognise the landscape on this end of the portal."

Tora was confused by this comment. "Wait a minute, Sir Caesar. "You've been to Earth before?"

Before he could answer this, Grandma Rose made her entrance. "I'm back early because some alien ate the whole supermarket, stock and-." She paused when she got a good look at Sir Caesar. "It can't be."

Johnny panicked, trying to come up with a plausible excuse there and then. "Grandma, this is my… friend. From arts and crafts class at high school…"

"Hello Rosie.", Sir Caesar announced as he and Grandma Rose went closer and hugged each other. "It's been far too long."

"Roughly 50 years, Seezie.", Rose responded, her voice similarly lovey-dovey.

Johnny was for once pleased to see that his Animan compatriots were as disgusted by this sight as he was. "W-wait, you know each other?"

"I came here on a mission back in my prime, chasing an organisation that was aiming to undermine the Council using weapons from Earth to incite greater violence. I was injured in an attack shortly after arriving and left for dead. That's when Rose here found me."

"I'd gone out to get some wood for a fire when I found Caesar.", Rose continued. "I thought he was a regular gorilla, so I tried taking him to a vet. But when he spoke to me, I knew this was something else. So I took him in and nursed him back to health myself. We developed a rapport, but unfortunately he ended up completing his mission and had to go back to Cubalia. I haven't seen him since then, but I did suggest that his people invent some way of disguising appearances so they didn't have to hide on the next visit."

"You mean our DNA cloaks.", Lenny realised. "Sorry, I'm assuming you're aware that we've been Animen the whole time, come to fulfill a mission of our own."

"Well I did see a pair of animal like women dressed identically to Marina and Tora on the news.", Rose answered him. "And you have a tendency to leave your power enhancers lying around. Admittedly, you couldn't know I'd be able to see through them. And talking of cubes." She presented a small pyramid like device from her purse. "Some large man made up of them told me and the other customers to hand these out until we find the Power Rangers. I assume that's you."

Trunks took the device and pressed a red button on the side, causing a hologram of Cuborg to appear. "Challenge to Power Rangers! Meet me in the woods, where Gobble Gator's rampage to find you will eventually lead him by one five zero zero hours. Failure to comply will result in Gobble Gator devouring the entire forest, and with it, the device that would allow you to return home. If you prioritise Gobble Gator, then I shall destroy the portal myself. Query! What will you chose?" With that, the message ended.

"What do we do?", Johnny asked. "Even if we do meet with Cuborg, there's no guarantee that Gobble Gator won't eat the portal device."

"Yeah.", Trunks nodded. "Cuborg barely seemed in control of that thing. It was more of a wild animal than the Hunters we've met before."

"You'll have to split up.", Caesar stated. "The bulk of your group will face down Cuborg as demanded, while I go with someone else to hunt down that monster. Though how we'll decide who I tag with, I don't know."

"I'll go.", Johnny insisted. "After all, you still have my Morpher, and I'd like to show you just what I can do with it. After all, you don't know me as well as the others. This'll be a great chance at bonding."

A few moments passed with no objections. "Okay then.", Marina nodded. "Let's go with that plan. It's a good plan."

And so, everyone departed for their chosen locations. Johnny and Sir Caesar making their way to the centre of the woods. "So, you've been coming to these woods quite a bit.", Sir Caesar commented. "After all, you know your way around without a map. Even I got lost."

"I've had a lot of reason to be around this place searching.", was Johnny's response to this.

Caesar was intrigued by this. "Searching for what, may I ask?"

"Answers.", came the reply. "Ten years ago, my brother and I decided to camp out in these woods, without our parents' permission. It was dark, and we ended up near where the portal device turned out to be. Then there was a flash, and I ended up being blinded for a few minutes. When I regained my sight, I saw a strange creature, unlike anything I'd seen before. When it moved to attack me, I was saved by the appearance of Jeremy, though I didn't know his name at the time. But I couldn't find my brother at all. And when I got home, my Grandma was there, mentioning that my parents had come looking for us… that there'd been an accident… another driver wasn't wearing his glasses." He hung his head in sadness.

"So what makes you think your brother is still alive?", Caesar asked. "Why don't you assume he was devoured by that creature?"

"Because he spoke to me.", Johnny answered him. "After the creature ran off, I heard his voice in the distance, calling for help. I tried to find him, but I was too scared to look further, so I made for home. Since then, I've been searching all over, trying to find some hint of what happened to him."

The conversation was interrupted as the pair came across Gobble Gator, who was busy chewing through a fallen tree. Johnny was about to charge in, but Caesar stopped him… so that he could return the Morpher he had picked up. "You'll probably want this. I've left a few new features in it. Since you absorbed Jeremy's primal power, let's see how you take to mine."

"Okay.", Johnny nodded, before leaping forward to kick Gobble Gator away from his meal. He then took out his Morpher, and dialled the number 6. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!"

Elsewhere in the woods, the other 4 Rangers wandered into the clearing where Cuborg was waiting. "The probability of you showing up was calculated at 51.4352%.", Cuborg noted. "Observation! You are either very brave or very foolish."

"Stow it.", Lenny yelled at him. "This time, we're ready for you and whatever tricks you might pull out of your bags."

"Declarative! Do your worst.", Cuborg announced, as he banged his fists together.

"It's Morphin' Time!" The 4 Rangers declared as they pulled out their Morphers, dialled their corresponding numbers, and then formed the logo by spinning the top. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!" They were transformed into their Ranger forms, and pulled out their Primal Blasters. "Primal Blast!"

However, Cuborg did not flinch at all from their shots. "What's this guy made of?", Lenny asked. "Doesn't matter. If it won't burn, it'll break." He reconfigured his Blaster into the Primal Saber. He ran forward with the others likewise converting their weapons.

But as before, the Sabers could not cut through Cuborg's hard shell. "How?", Marina asked as everyone continued to try and slash through Cuborg's body.

"Question! Is this supposed to hurt?", Cuborg asked, as he unleashed a massive force of wind that blew everyone down.

"He's way too powerful.", Lenny commented. "No wonder he's a commander in the Hunters."

"Declaration! I have analysed all of your potential attacks.", Cuborg stated. "My body has been accordingly tempered so that I can resist them. Nothing you do will hurt me."

"We'll see." Johnny then came walking onto the scene, throwing a plume at the ground. "Your little pet fought well, but he couldn't beat me with some coaching from Sir Caesar."

"Observation! Your defeat of the Gobble Gator was calculated.", was Cuborg's response. "But your defeat of me is impossible."

"We'll see.", Johnny said as he took out his Morpher. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!" He transformed into the Eagle Ranger. "Let's dance, Rubik."

"Primal Mode, unleash!" All of the Rangers thus entered their enhanced forms.

Johnny then tried a spinning charge through the air, but Cuborg blocked him. "Predictable.", he commented as he threw his opponent aside.

But then Lenny and Tora hit him with simultaneous attacks, followed by Marina trying her own attack. "Tidal Crash!" But this too, was deflected as Cuborg sent her flying backwards.

"My turn.", Trunks declared as he stepped in front of his downed ally. "Rock Quaker!"

But Cuborg merely saw this as an opportunity to pull his sword out. "Doom Barrage!" He swung his sword in all directions, sending the Rangers reeling as fires surrounded them. As he quelled this barrage, the other Rangers tried holding him in place, but he beat them back, and continued in a stalemate with the 5 Rangers.

Cuborg then proceeded to beat the 4 Animen down, starting with Tora, and continuing with Lenny, Trunks and Marina, all of them piling on top of the other. "Why am I on the bottom?", Tora asked.

"Answer! The order in which you die is irrelevant." Cuborg then swung his sword at the pile, sending all of them flying into the air. When they landed, he then hit them with another attack using his sword. "Infestation Elimination!"

This attack knocked all of the Animen out of their Ranger suits. "He's powerful.", Marina commented as she pulled herself up.

"I suppose that's the result of him analysing all our old moves.", Trunks commented.

"All our OLD moves?", Johnny commented, before coming up with an idea. "Let me show you how Sir Caesar helped me beat your overgrown newt, Cuborg." He then pulled upon his faceplate, moving his mouth and helmet crest upwards to reveal the face of Sir Caesar's Gorilla Ranger form. "Primal Change: Gorilla!" His logo then changed to that of a gorilla, with his muscles expanding outwards while his wings disappeared. "Defending the Treetops, Wild Fury Gorilla Ranger!"

The other Rangers were shocked by this. "First he has Jeremy's primal power, and now Sir Caesar's.", Trunks commented. "Most humans would barely be able to control the power of one Animan."

"That's what's so great about Johnny.", Tora smiled. "He's always surprising us."

"Observation!", Cuborg said, worry starting to form in his voice. "This form was not in my data files, but I have defeated the old man when he used it. Question! What makes you think you have a chance?"

"It's simple.", Johnny said. "I'm still young." He then beat his chest before charging into battle. He managed to disarm Cuborg with one punch, before using another to disorientate him. He then leapt up, did a front flip and pounded his foe into the ground. "You wanted to rumble in the jungle, you got what you wanted." He beat his chest as he said this.

"Declaration! Your power… will not prevail!", Cuborg almost growled as he tried charging once again. But Johnny grabbed both his fists and moved him to where he could send him crashing into a tree. Cuborg still broke free and engaged in a brawl with Johnny, with both turning out to be each other's equal, neither one giving the other room to breathe.

Johnny eventually was able to slam Cuborg into the ground, before unleashing a new trick, which caused a tornado to exhale from his nasal area, sending Cuborg crashing into a tree. "Nasal Cyclone!"

"Gross, but cool.", Lenny commented.

Johnny then charged into Cuborg, sending him right through several trees in the forest. It was only then that Cuborg was able to recover. "Error! Error! Non-variable data! Unable to calculate!"

The robot then tried running forward to throw a punch, but the Gorilla Ranger countered with his own simultaneous punch, which sent a shockwave through Cuborg's arm, damaging it. "Time to end this.", Johnny stated as he delivered an uppercut that sent Cuborg flying up, before crashing down, heavily damaging him.

"Conclusion! I have been defeated. Therefore, I shall cease. But…" Johnny turned away as Cuborg's body went up in flames.

Up aboard the Hunters' ship, both Keldor and Ignoblia were shocked by this development. "They took out a warrior like Cuborg.", Keldor said with shock. "They're becoming too powerful."

"Don't be so sure.", Archris assured his subordinates, as he rested his head on his hand. "As the humans say, the Rangers ain't seen nuthin' yet."

Back in the woods, Sir Caesar stepped into the clearing to congratulate Johnny. "Good work, kid. You managed to make good use of my powers out there."

"Thanks chief.", Johnny nodded. "I'm glad I was able to take out one of the big name Hunters. I couldn't have done it without your help."

"It's not over yet." Everyone turned around to see that the debris from Cuborg was reassembling itself, eventually reshaping his body. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

"Am I seeing things?", Tora asked. "Or did he just 'un-blow up'?"

"My body contains a circuit that can reconstruct it in the event of near-total destruction.", Cuborg explained. "I need never die, as long as it remains installed in my body. And speaking of returning…" a giant Gobble Gator then appeared in the distance, attacking the city. "You didn't think I only had one of these creatures, did you?" With that said, he teleported away.

"We have to get to the city to stop that thing.", Johnny realised.

"Couldn't have said it better.", Marina added. But then she and Lenny collapsed in pain. "Guess he hit us harder than we thought."

"That's not good.", Trunks realised. "They're the only ones who could've got to the city fast enough to deal with the monster."

"Maybe not.", Sir Caesar realised. "If Johnny here inherited my Ranger powers, he likely also has the power to control my Gorilla Zord. It's particularly fast on the ground."

"There's only one way to find out.", Johnny decided, as he took out his Morpher and pressed the summon button, before dialling 6. "Gorilla Zord, come on down!"

A cube of light emerged from the distance, generating a pillar that it landed on, taking on the form of a black and red cube, numbered 6. The front half or the cube then opened up and extended into a pair of arms, which it used to upright itself, with a face emerging from the new revealed bottom of the cube, while a cannon appeared to mount on the right shoulder. The Zord then materialised on top of a skyscraper, with Johnny leaping into it. "I'll hold this thing off until the others get here.", he stated as he set the Zord in motion by locking in his Morpher. The Gobble Gator asporached the skyscraper, with the obvious intent to eat it. "Let's see how you like these." The Gorilla then began throwing cubes at the beast, knocking it back. The cannon then detached from the Gorilla Zord, changing into a trapeze, which the Gorilla Zord used to swing past a laser beam and into the Gobble Gator. "How about an encore." He then swung the Gorilla in the opposite direction, delivering another hit. It then landed on the ground. "Gorilla Cannon, fire!" The shoulder mouthed weapon fired shots at the Gobble Gator to buffet it. Now enraged, Gobble Gator approached its prey. "You don't know when enough is enough." Johnny hen transformed the Gorilla Zord back into a cube, ramming it into the Gobble Gator to break his jaw. "Can't eat me now, can you?" He moved forward and grabbed onto the Gobble Gator's legs, using them to throw the beast to the ground.

It was then that the Elephant and Tiger Zords showed up. "Sorry we're late.", Tora said meekly.

"Not at all.", Johnny assured her. "You're right on time for the showstopper." He then took out his Morpher, pressing the combination button and inputting the code '4-5-6'. "Zords, combine!"

The three leapt through the regular rings of fire, with the Gorilla's cannon detaching as it returned to the cube form. When the usual combination took place, the Gorilla took the Eagle's place, only instead of a larger sword, the cannon transformed into a head, with the handle breaking off and becoming a blaster that the new Megazord took hold of. Parts of the Gorilla's arms also folded out to create shoulders. "Jungle Megazord, ready!"

The three Rangers appeared in the main cockpit, but Trunks noticed something. "Hey, Johnny doesn't have any armour on."

"Maybe the Gorilla Mode counts as armour.", Tora suggested.

"Whatever the reason, let's keep going.", Johnny suggested. It was at that point that the Gobble Gator recovered. "Beast Cannon!" The Megazord fired its weapon at the beast, who just kept coming no matter how many shots he took. Eventually, Gpbble Gator grabbed onto the blaster and ate it. "Oh no."

"We're not beat yet." As Trunks said this, the Jungle Megazord began beating Gobble Gator back with its bare fists. It eventually hit the monster hard enough to knock it down.

"Alright, let's end this.", Johnny decided, as he inserted his Morpher into the Control Weapon.

"Jungle Furious Final Attack!" The Megazord pounded its chest before firing its fists at the Gobble Gator three times, overcharging the alien with energy that destroyed it. "Top of the food chain!"

Back onboard the Hunters' ship, Cuborg returned and collapsed. "I see that you took some heavy damage from that battle.", Archris noted. "You should go and perform diagnostics."

"Yes, Master.", Cuborg wheezed.

Keldor was confused. "Surely I should be performing the diagnostics. I am the mechanic after all."

"No.", Cuborg insisted. "I am capable of performing my own diagnostics. Leave me alone." With that said, he stormed out of the room.

"What's so special about Cuborg's circuitry that he doesn't want anyone looking at them?", Keldor asked. "And what's happened to his speech functions since his resurrection? He seems… almost alive."

Back on Earth, Johnny presented the Morpher and Gorilla Zord to Sir Caesar. "I suppose you'll be wanting the power you gave me back."

Sir Caesar thought for a few minutes. "You know what? Keep it. It could be useful to you in your battles with these Hunters. Especially since I won't be around to do much."

Trunks was confused by this. "Where are you going?", he asked. "The portal to Cubalia's been cut off for the foreseeable future."

"True, but there's still someone I can try and find.", Caesar answered. "Namely, Jeremy. He's got to be still in the area. It doesn't seem likely he'd leave the place where the bulk of the Cubezords are likely to be."

"Will we see you again?", Tora asked.

"Of course, I'm not leaving for good.", Caesar assured her. "When I've found something of interest, I'll report back to you at the zoo house. Until then, all of you'd better keep fighting the good fight." With that said, he turned and left.

"Well, I'd say today was productive.", Lenny said to break the tension. "We impressed our old teacher, beat one of the Hunters' head honchos and Johnny got a new power and a new Zord in the process."

"And now we know that Grandma Rose knows we're Animen.", Marina added. "Meaning we can take the DNA Cloaks off around the house."

"Unless visitors come by.", Johnny suggested.

Marina pouted at this. "Spoilsport."

Everyone began laughing as the sun set over the horizon.
