Deep in space, beyond the Lost Galaxy, on the moon of the planet Miranoi, an ancient spaceship, unique due to its otherworldly origins, touched down next to the hulk of an even larger ship, resembling a centipede. A blue alien, with a vague resemblance to a stereotypical pirate, complete with hook hand, teleported into this hulk. "Trakeena's Scorpion Stinger. Containing one of the greatest sources of power in the entire universe." He tore through the rubble to find a large, web-like substance. "The fabled Cocoon. It's still active. And thus, its power can be used." He attached a device to the Cocoon, teleporting it away.

It was then that the being's data com beeped. "New message from orbit around planet Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy. Message reads 'Help required in recovering potential WMD from local Power Rangers. You came highly recommended by Barbaria. Regards of Keldor.' Message ends."

"Earth, huh?", the being spoke up. "Why not? I might be able to acquire some artefacts both on the way to, and on the planet. And these Power Rangers must have faced some menacing monsters." He then spoke into his data com. "It's me. Beam me back up and prepare to warp to Earth." He then teleported out of the ship and back to his own, which took off towards its new destination.

And on Earth, Luke was currently sitting in an office with a bank teller, discussing his accounts. "Mr. Perry, you've been gone for 10 years, during which we've kept your assets safe at your brother's request.", the man explained. "Though your debit card has expired twice over in that time."

"That's alright.", Luke nodded. "I just came in to make sure I could get a new card. I could've requested one in the mail, but I'm not so sure how safe that is."

The clerk handed him a new card. "It just so happens we were preparing the new one to send to you when your brother informed us you were alive. Though I'd recommend that you take this to an ATM to test if it works."

"Okay.", Luke nodded.

And so, not half an hour later, Luke went to a machine to insert his card. "Alright, I won't go for a withdrawal today, so I'll stick with a balance check." He inserted his PIN number - which Johnny had reminded him off before he went out - only to find that the machine didn't work as he expected. Instead of telling him his balance, it instead displayed the message. 'You are all doomed'. It then ejected his card, and then displayed a count of 10 dollars, which then decreased to 9, and then 8, making Luke recognise the in-progress countdown. "Get down!" He called out to everyone behind him as he ducked out of the way of the explosion. Fortunately, everyone else had ducked too, so no-one had been harmed.

In her guise as Dr. Primavera, Ignoblia had witnessed the whole scene. "That was just a taste of what's in store, my dear Chimera.", she stated. "When we're done, you and your friends will be begged to hand over the Cubezords by the civilians."

Elsewhere, a bright blue and red alien with a head shaped like a rugby ball, his body decorated with wires, wielding a staff with an orb on it, appeared on the scene at a plaza. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for you to bear witness to the most amazing show in the universe. Presented by me, the Astonishing, Astounding, Amazing, Techo-Wizard!"

Everyone's reaction was to wisely run away, as Marina, Lenny and Tora appeared on the screen. "Hey!", Lenny called out. "We were already on our way to a show. We didn't need you putting another on."

"Looks like The Mousetrap will have to wait.", Tora sighed. "And I wanted to see how it ends."

"We know how it ends.", Marina answered. "With us beating this creep."

The three took out their Morphers. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!" In a flash, all three were morphed.

"Ah, the Power Rangers have come to my opening day.", Techno-Wizard commented. "There's nothing in my hands, but watch." He held up a cloak, before removing it to reveal a group of Bacteri, who moved in to attack. The Rangers thus engaged the Bacteri in battle, with Techno-Wizard taking the opportunity to slip away. "Time for an intermission."

"No ya don't!", Lenny called out as he tried moving in to stop the Hunter, pushing through the Bacteri to engage the Techno-Wizard in battle. "What exactly are you up to?"

"Ah ah, a good magician never reveals his tricks.", Techno-Wizard said in response, as his body gradually disappeared until he was invisible. "Bye bye."

Tora scratched the face of a single Bacterus, flooring him. "He got away already?", she growled. "That makes me mad."

With the Bacteri dealt with, the three reverted to their human forms. "I think right now, we should get back to the others.", Marina suggested. "See if they've come across anything."

Deep in space, the same mysterious figure came across a large, saucer-like object floating through space. "Astronema's Dark Fortress.", he noted as he teleported aboard. But in his search, he found little of value, except for "Zordon's plasma tube body. This might be worth a handsome sum from dictator with a big head." He attached the transport disc to the tube, teleporting it to his ship. He then followed after it, resuming his trek to Earth.

Down on Earth, at the zoo house, Trunks and Johnny had been called in by Jeremy. "What is it, Jeremy? We do still have jobs to get back to after lunch.", Johnny asked.

"Indeed.", Trunks nodded. "This had better be good."

"I've been doing some research into the Rhino Zord that Archris created.", Jeremy informed them. "It turns out it wasn't just a way to create a Megazord out of the Wolf and Alligator Zords. It also has compatibility with every other Zord."

"You mean… we could use it to make a Megazord out of all the Cubezords?", Johnny asked.

"That would make sense.", Trunks rationalised. "Once Archris got his hands on all the Cubezords, he would've wanted to combine them into a single Megazord to wreak destruction with. How far along into figuring out how to access it are you?"

"Sadly, I can't figure it out simply from observing the Zords.", Jeremy informed them. "Maybe Luke might have some knowledge of how to trigger it."

As if on cue, Luke came bursting through the door, out of breath. "Exploding… ATM. Barely… made it…"

Then Lenny's party came in. "Johnny, we have trouble.", Marina spoke up. "This one calls himself the Techno-Wizard."

"Whoah, whoah, one at a time.", Johnny insisted. "All I got was "Techno-Wizard" and 'exploding ATM'."

"Maybe there's something about it on the news.", Tora suggested as she turned on the tv.

"…the latest in a series of unusual technical glitches.", the anchor said. "This follows the ATM machines around town spontaneously combusting, coffee makers spraying users in the face, and traffic lights changing colours intermittently. Who knows what technical issues will…"

Then the woman was cut off, as the image of Techno-Wizard appeared on the screen. "Power Rangers, this is a message from the greatest showman of 7 galaxies, the Techno-Wizard. My abilities give me power that affects all items with some manner of primitive mechanism. Using this power, I have taken over every device on this city except for your Morphers and Zords. But before the true show begins, I invite you to meet with me at the plaza to prepare for my greatest trick of all." The signal then cut out entirely.

"Well I think that settles matters.", Lenny spoke up. "We need to head for the plaza."

"Indeed.", Jeremy nodded. "Right now, freeing the city from this guy's grip comes before figuring out if Luke knows how to combine the Zords."

"Wait what?", Luke asked.

"Never mind that now, Bro.", Johnny insisted. "Let's go."

Up aboard the Arrowhead, Techno-Wizard's broadcast had been viewed. "I told you that regular mercenary warriors still had their advantages, Lord Archris.", Ignoblia stated.

"Yes, this one has done quite well for himself.", Archris noted. "And to think, I was dismissive of him, purely because he was a last resort option."

"Yes, with Cuborg trying to boost the output of Keldor's monster makers and Keldor himself doing I don't know what, it was lucky that Techno-Wizard was available for our use.", Ignoblia explained. "Even if the Rangers manage to stop him from causing damage, the populace will be so desperate to get their technology back, they'll beg them to hand over the Cubezords. And only then will their control return."

"Unless the Rangers are able to fend off Techno-Wizard prematurely.", Archris pointed out.

Ignoblia merely looked away from him and chuckled. "Oh, I could still turn that to my advantage." With that said, she left the bridge.

Elsewhere, the 6 Rangers showed up at the plaza as instructed. Techno-Wizard was waiting for them. "Ah, the stage is set. And the performers are all here."

"Give the city its technology back, Techno-Wizard.", Johnny cried out. "And we might go easier on you."

"You want me to cancel my act before the big climax?", Techno-Wizard said with feigned shock. "Some people have no sense of showmanship."

"You want to see showmanship?", Luke asked as he took out his Hunter Morpher. "Then I guess it's Morphin Time!" He pressed the button before spinning to the rhino face. "Predator Spirits, Awaken!"

The other Rangers took out their own Primal Morphers and initiated their morphs. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!"

In an instant, the Rangers were now in their suits. "Oh bravo, looks like you have some magic of your own.", Tecnho-Wizard complimented them. "But I won't let you upstage me. The show must go on!"

Suddenly, the nearby lamppost switched on and fired a beam at Marina. "Hey, that lamp stung me.", she complained.

Tora was then hit by another lamp laser. "Me too."

"Oh, did you forget?", Techno-Wizard asked. "I can control any technology on this planet." He then had a car drive forward with no-one at the wheel, heading towards the Rangers.

"Super Primal Mode, Unleash!" Luke moved in front of the car, using one of his strongest attacks to stop it by wrecking the engine. "Final Hunt!"

Techno-Wizard fumed at this. "You may have stopped an attack from in front of you, but how will you contend with an attack from above?" He then had a jet fighter appear above their heads, before cutting off the engines, causing the craft to fall.

"What are you doing?", Trunks asked. "There's a pilot in there. He needs to land."

"Oh he'll land alright.", Techno-Wizard laughed. "Crash land."

"Not if I can help it.", Johnny declared. "Primal Mode, Unleash!" He sprouted his wings, before flying up and charging at the cockpit's windscreen. "Spinning Skystorm Strike!" He crashed into the glass to break it, and grabbed onto the man to bring him down to Earth, while knocking the plane towards the nearby lake, which it crashed into with little more than a small explosion.

Once the pilot was on land, Lenny put his hand on the man's shoulders. "Get to safety.", he urged, to which the man nodded and ran off.

"See, all of you are getting into the spirit of showmanship.", Techno-Wizard giggled. "So I'll give you a challenge, that'll be shared with the citizens of this wonderful city where our show is going out live."

"Enough fun and games.", Johnny insisted. "Come down and fight us."

"I will, if you can help out with my greatest trick.", Techno-Wizard stated. "I have taken one device in this city, and reconfigured it into a bomb. I'm giving you, and the people of this city, two hours to discover the location of the device. If someone succeeds, then I will disarm it and be on my merry way. But if the Power Rangers in particular should find the bomb, then I will move in to do battle with them. Good luck, my dear audience." He then pulled up a cloth in front of himself to disappear.

With the monster gone, the Rangers all powered down. "So we have two hours to look for a bomb that could be anywhere.", Tora surmised. "No pressure then."

"Let's split up and search for something.", Johnny suggested. "And if we do find something, then call the rest of us back to bring us over there."

"That should be easy.", Marina commented. "We just need to listen for the sound of what seems like a countdown timer."

"Yeah, easy if you've got enhanced sonar, like you.", Luke pointed out. "Anyway, let's get going. We're killing time staying here talking."

"Right.", the others all nodded as they set off running in different directions.

Trunks decided to check the area near the university, which he noted seemed to have less people searching than he had seen on the way over. "Must be a break from classes.", he decided. "There won't be many people here except for orientation."

It didn't take long for him to literally bump into Dr. Primavera. "Oh hey, Trunks. Long time no see.", she said. "What have you been up to?"

"Quite a lot.", Trunks assured her. "Aside from proving that the monster in the Savannah Woods was a guy in animal skins, I'm currently looking for the bomb that alien said he'd hidden somewhere."

"Ah, I saw that on the news.", Dr. Primavera mentioned. "You know, I think this is all Mayor Starmer's fault. He insisted on making most of our services that worked pretty good with people or mechanical features entirely electronics, and had the ground torn up to create the materials he needed to sell to fund all this."

"I agree, some services don't need to be done with primarily electronic equipment.", Trunks nodded, thinking back to his own much simpler lifestyle on Cubalia. "But unless someone runs against the current mayor, I doubt any of this will change."

Dr. Primavera had a realisation. "Trunks, that's it. If I can get a recall election going, then I could potentially run against him and make some real changes." She then coughed. "Anyway, about that monster, I think I saw him heading to a parking lot near the mall just before this all went down."

"The parking lot near the mall, got it.", Trunks nodded before turning and running off. He then took out his Morpher to call the others. "Guys, meet me at this location in as long as it takes you to get there."

Behind him, beneath her guise as Dr. Primavera, Ignoblia laughed. "And here I was pondering how to increase the scope of my plan without drawing suspicion. Who would've thought a Ranger would give me the solution just like that."

Elsewhere in the town, Tora had received Trunks's message. "The parking lot near the mall, got it.", she nodded as she hung up and set off running in that direction.

"Come in. Where are you? Respond!" Tora suddenly stopped as she heard that voice coming from the alley, which she ran into to discover Adrien, who was startled as he heard her coming. "Oh, Tora. What are you doing here?"

"I heard you shouting into something.", was her answer. "It seemed like you were trying to call someone."

"Oh, it's for my… cousin's science project.", Adrien nervously blurted out. "We're seeing if you can make a long range radio out of scrap parts."

"How… intriguing.", Tora nodded, nervous as to what to say. "Anyway, I don't think your radio will work. Not with that new monster messing with technology."

"What?", Adrien asked, with a mixture of confusion and anger.

"Yeah, calls himself Techno-Wizard.", Tora explained. "He took over all the technology in town with his powers and he's put a bomb somewhere, with a challenge to find it. Which reminds me, I've gotta run. Later Adrien." With her explanation over, Tora turned and set off running towards the mall once more.

From his vantage point over the city, Techno-Wizard observed the chaos he had created. "Pathetic lowlifes.", he hissed. "They'll never find the real bomb in time. And when that goes on, I'll return with a new announcement, saying that the next bomb will be defused if the Rangers hand over their Cubezords. The civilians will be so willing to see an end to my destruction they'll pressure the Rangers to hand them over."

Keldor suddenly appeared. "Ah, you must be Techno-Wizard. Ignoblia told me you'd be based here."

"Well what do you want?", Techno-Wizard snapped. "I'm doing a good job, aren't I?"

"Considering that the Rangers are on the cusp of discovering your bombed out car park, no.", Keldor informed him. "In fact, at last count, they were only a few yards away from discovering it."

"What?", Techno-Wizard growled, before coughing to resume his "game voice". "Well, if they think they're going to put an end to my show prematurely, then I will return the favour." He leapt off the top of the building, with Keldor looking down to see that he had disappeared from that situation.

Elsewhere, the rangers had arrived at the parking lot, having reverted to their Morphed state to avoid any suspicion. "We sure this is the place?", Lenny asked. "I mean, we don't have any proof of it."

"There is one.", Luke suggested, as he touched the automatic door. "My rhino DNA gives me an enhanced sense of touch. Meaning I can sense that the stuff Techno-Wizard touched by a jolt it gives -." He suddenly felt something. "It's definitely here."

"Well congratulations.", Techno-Wizard commented as he warped in. "You found the explosive. But you can't defuse it, even if you have won the prize."

"We'll see about that.", Luke commented as he took off running, heading up a bridge to the point he had a clear view of the building, before throwing the Reel Staff's hook at it. "Alright, I've got a big one."

Back at the site, Techno-Wizard was in the process of fighting off the other Rangers, when he noticed the hook. Everyoen then stopped to look on. "No! No, no, no, NO!,", the Hunter cried out.

But Luke was already pulling back on the handle. "I've not come this far… just to give up.", he stated as he pulled with enough force to remove the building from its foundations, and throw it up to harmlessly explode in the atmosphere.

"Amazing!", Techno-Wizard cried out, much to everyone's shock. "That's far more spectacular than if I'd ensured the plan went off as intended."

"You did it, Bro.", Johnny called out as he and all the other Rangers ran to rejoin their sixth member.

"No need to thank me.", Luke said as he did a thank you gesture with his finger.

"I'm so taking you out to lunch tomorrow.", Tora assured him as she reciprocated the gesture.

"Why you!", Techno-Wizard growled as he appeared on the scene. "You're getting tiresome. It's time I cut you from the playbill."

"Just try it, freak.", Luke stated as he pushed past Lenny to confront his latest tormentor. "Let's do this guys."

"Right.", Johnny nodded, as the team all did a group pose. "Call of the Wild,…"

"Power Rangers Wild Fury!"

Techno-Wizard was even more enraged. "Quit trying to better than me, you third-rate filth."

"Well that's not hard to do.", Luke said as he stepped forward. "Let's see how you actually stack up in a fight." He then set off running towards the Hunter, before the other Rangers could stop him. A fight thus broke out between the two, with Luke throwing a pair of punches, before being blocked by his opponent's magician's staff. But this didn't deter him, as Luke carried on with his onslaught, knocking his foe into a fence and kicking him straight in the chest. He then pushed him towards the opposite fence to repeat the process, this time managing to kick him over the edge. "Primal Change: Wolf!" Luke changed forms and leapt over the edge, before pulling Techno-Wizard in further and firing on him with his weapon. "Reel Blaster: Bait Blast!"

"No fair, you're upstaging me in my own show.", Techno-Wizard bemoaned.

"Believe me, it gets worse.", Luke assured him as he reset his Morpher. "Primal Change: Alligator!" He then moved in to start beating his foe back with his Reel Staff. "Tackle Thrust!"

He knocked the Hunter onto a field, where the other Rangers could cheer him on. "Luke! Luke! He's our guy! If he can't do it, it was worth the try!", Tora called out.

"He's managed to make better use of his power than when he started out.", Marina commented.

"To think he was once trying to destroy us.", Trunks nodded in agreement.

Back on the ground, Luke continued to beat back Techno-Wizard. He then lodged the Reel Spear in the ground, before grasping the villain's neck with his kneecaps. A situation he used to kick his foe down. "Primal Reversion, Rhino!" Luke returned to his basic form, and then called out to the others. "If you'd do me the honours."

"Alright.", the group called out as hey quickly ran down to join the battle.

"Reel Staff: Catch Hook!" Luke sent his hook flying, wrapping the reel around Techno-Wizard. "Let's see you pull a vanishing act out of this."

"Couldn't we try sawing me in half instead?", Techno-Wizard asked.

"Not a chance.", Johnny said in response as he appeared to use his own Chain Saber to wrap up the monster. "Try escaping from this."

Lenny and Tora then appeared to slash at the captive Techno-Wizard. "Primal Sabers, Wild Slash!"

Marina and Trunks then subjected their opponents to an equivalent attack with their Primal Blasters. "Wild Blast!"

The two Rangers holding the villain hostage lifted him into the air. "This doesn't feel as safe as trapeze wires.", Techno-Wizard whined as the pair released their attacks, causing him to explode.

Across the city, everything electronic returned to normal function. And speaking of normal functions, Ignoblia appeared next to Techno-Wizard's body, as the Rangers were regrouping. "What's a magician without his glamorous assistant?", she asked as she inserted the growth coin into the slot on his chest. "It's time to give an encore."

Techno-Wizard was thus enlarged to giant size. "Ladies and gentlemen, our show is not over yet. It's time for the showstopper act to begin." He used his blanket trick to reveal 5 Pyrafighters slumped in a pile. "And now, we'll proceed with my greatest trick." The ships flew up and attached onto Techno-Wizard, giving him armour on his arms, chest and legs. When he spoke, it was with a mechanical flange to his voice. "I am now Techno-Fighter!"

The Rangers were shocked by this sight. "He fused with those ships?", Marina asked, terrified.

"Looks like we need to unlock the Rhino Zord's true capabilities sooner rather than later.", Trunks decided. "Luke, can you figure out a way to combine all the Zords?"

"All of them?", Luke asked as he suddenly had a vision in his head. "Give me the Zords." Everyone held out their cubes, including those of the support Zords. Luke then took out his own and proceeded to juggle with all of them until he created a vaguely humanoid shape. "Predator Megazord, Super Formation!"

And so, the Zords all grew to giant size before initiating a new combination. The Elephant and Lion cubes became a pair of feet for the Rhino body, while the Tiger and Shark cubes formed the shoulders. This time, both Alligator and Wolf transformed into hands, with the jaws of the reptile retracting, as the larger sword that formed the head of the Beast Force Megazord attached to its underarm. The Gorilla Zord's cannon then attached to the side of the Wolf arm. Finally, the Eagle and Gorilla cubes landed in the section normally occupied by the Wolf Zord, before the Rhino's head landed on top of them, revealing a new face. Finally, the 4 weapon Cubezords transformed into capacitors that attached to the legs of the combination. "Predator Megazord, ready!"

All of the Rangers appeared in the same cockpit, with Luke having gained a new set of armour, with a rhino themed chest plate, a crocodile themed right shoulder and a wolf themed left shoulder. "Whoah, what is this?", he asked.

"Right, your main Megazord doesn't have this." Luke realised. "It's basically armour that allows us to control the movements and power flow of the Megazord. Mostly through this." He presented the control weapon.

"So far, we haven't really come up with a name for it.", Marina clarified. "Mostly because it hasn't been a priority."

Luke thought on this. "How about… Primal Burst mode?"

The other rangers were amazed. "Sounds good.", Trunks stated.

"I like it.", Tora added.

"Excuse me.", Techno-Fighter called out. "Are you going to stand here all day, or are we going to fight.

"Right.", Luke nodded. "Let's finish it with you."

And so the fight began, with Techno-Fighter delivering a flurry of jabs with his new arms to the Predator Megazord, who responded by blocking all of them, before slashing at its opponent with its sword. "Perhaps I could do with some assistance.", Techno-Fighter decided as he used his magic to summon a fleet of Pyrafighters. "Get them!"

"Man, that's annoying.", Lenny pouted.

"He's still no match for us.", Johnny stated as the Predator Megazord weathered the shots from the Pyrafighters. The Predator then fired its cannon to eliminate all of the enemy ships in an instant. "Hey, that's not fair.", Techno-Fighter growled. The beam then came in to hit him.

"It's time we bring the curtain down.", Luke declared. "Johnny, give me the control weapon."

"Ok, but what do you want it for?", Johnny asked as he did so.

"Just watch.", was Luke's answer as he converted it into gun mode and attached his Hunter Morpher to the top to serve as a scope. He then pressed the button, before aiming. "Predator Prey Extinction!" He then pulled the trigger.

The Predator then fired a beam of energy from its sword straight through Techno-Fighter, impaling him. "Everybody's a critic.", he bemoaned as he fell down and exploded.

"Top of the food chain!", the Rangers all cheered, basking in their triumph.

Down on the ground, Jeremy found that his power enhancer was glowing once again. This time, it gained the same logos as the regular Primal Morphers, but there was something different about the emblem. It not only now bore the three animals that made up the Chimera Ranger, but a fourth animal. One that Jeremy found familiar. "A whale? Could it be-?"

And up in space, the same spaceship made its way to the orbit of the planet Earth, touching down on the Moon. "Just one more stop, and then I can fully check out what's so important I was called all the way out here." He touched down in an abandoned structure, known as "Bandora's Palace", presumably named for an owner who had lived there hundreds of millions of years ago. Once inside, he ignored a relatively new, and rather inefficient looking time travel device, in favour of something else. "A device that can remove all traces of heroism from even the noblest beings.", he commented as he found what he was looking for. "This might come in handy, given the powers at my disposal." After warping it away, he then spoke into his communicator. "This is Mantack. Don't worry, I'm going to be there soon." He then teleported out of the Moon Palace as his ship made its way to Earth.
