Onboard the Arrowhead, a group of Bacteri were punched into the room by an approaching Cuborg, who was growling in pain. "What's happening?", Archris asked.

"I don't know.", Cuborg cried out. "Ever since my battle with the Orange Ranger, I've had all this energy within me. I'm not sure why."

"Perhaps I can get to the bottom of it.", Ignoblia stated as she clicked her fingers, causing Cuborg to be restrained by a silver robot. It resembled the Destructoid, but with red markings and missile launchers instead of the saw and drill. "In other news, the new Sentinel robot we built from the Neo-Cadmium is fully functioning."

"I'll have mass production begun shortly.", Archris commented. "Now, what is wrong with Cuborg?"

"Ah.", Ignoblia commented. "It seems that part of his body has been replaced by 4 of the Cubezords. And they're supercharging his Cubalian components, generating a large amount of energy that he's struggling to burn up."

"Who needs to burn it up?", Cuborg laughed. "With this, I can beat those Rangers at their own game with their own powers."

Archris laughed. "An interesting proposition. Ignoblia, prepare to send the fleet down to lure the Rangers out."

"Understood.", Ignoblia nodded.

At the zoo house, Jeremy placed the Link Cube down in an open area of the courtyard, as Rose and Caesar looked on. "Are you sure we should put this here?", Grandma Rose asked. "How will I explain it?"

"We'll cover it with a tarpaulin and claim it's under construction for the foreseeable future.", was Jeremy's answer. "Now then, I've figured out the Hunters' shrinking mechanism enough that I can restore it by doing this." He flicked a switch, causing the Link Cube to enlarge to its normal size.

Not a few seconds later, a figure emerged from it, who Sir Caesar instantly recognised. "Great Elder?"

"Indeed, young Caesar.", the tortoise Animan nodded. "Gather the Planetary Guardians. There is much that I must impart."

Sometime later, one of the zoo tour guides entered the room. "Another successful tour, guys. I think I'm doing great at this…." She then stopped as she saw everyone gathered around the Elder, deactivating her disguise kit to revert to Metal Alice. "Job."

"Alright, so you've rediscovered an ancient prophecy from Cubalia, written shortly after Centitrax's attack.", Trunks surmised. "And that warranted you travelling to Earth to inform us personally?"

"Indeed.", the Elder nodded. "My grandfather's clan wrote this text after divining the future through astrology. They foresaw the return of the great weed that menaced the homeland, with a plan that would affect the motherland on the wishes of a great darkness."

"The great weed?", Luke questioned.

"I think that's some old timey way of saying Floriana.", Tora suggested. "And the motherland is what the sacred texts called Earth. So it seems that Floriana is going to invade Earth. But that can't be."

"Right.", Marina nodded. "Trunkrush and Keldor told us that Floriana died years ago against Archris."

"Maybe, but that 'darkness' reminds me of something else.", Johnny spoke up. "Back when we retrieved the Whale Morpher, the Primal Force told me that the Anti-Grid that's been driving several past enemies of the Power Rangers to evil had a new avatar. And the past avatars have always gone after the power sources of the Rangers. Like the Cubezords."

Jeremy took the hint. "So you think Archris is the great weed mentioned in the prophecy?"

"I shall admit, it is a great possibility.", the Elder answered. "But there is yet more to the prophecy. It speaks of the herald of destruction, once vanquished, reviving once more and continuing his assault. He can only be defeated by attacking with the powers of land, sea and sky."

Before anyone could ponder what this meant, the alarm sounded. "There's no Hunter detected, but a fleet of their Pyrafighters has appeared.", Metal Alice stated. Since she had joined the Rangers, Jeremy had synced her mind to the computer system and the city's CCTV feeds so she could provide information more adequately.

"We'll have to postpone this discussion until later.", Johnny realised. "Luke, you and Jeremy head into town and work on damage control. The rest of you, let's take the Zords."

"Right.", everyone nodded as they moved to pick up their respective Cubezords.

"Opening teleportal now.", Alice stated as a portal appeared, through which the 5 main Rangers departed the building.

"That just leaves us to do our job.", Jeremy told Luke. "Elder, don't go anywhere.", he called back as he and Luke ran off.

"I wouldn't worry.", the Elder chuckled. "By the time I would have departed the estate, it would be the human holiday of Christmas."

Now morphed, the 5 original Wild Fury Rangers ran up to see the massive army of Pyrafighters overhead. "It's bigger than any army on Earth.", Lenny commented.

"No point wasting time.", Johnny decided as everyone pulled their cubes out. "Cubezords, enlarge!"

"Zords, combine!" The 6 main Zords, along with the Squid Zord formed two Megazords. Johnny, Marina and Lenny piloted the first. "Cephalo Force Megazord, ready!"

Trunks and Tora piloted the second. "Jungle Megazord, ready!"

The fleet of ships found their targets and started firing on the two Megazords. "They're not pulling any punches this time.", Marina noted. "Which means we shouldn't either."

"Right.", Lenny nodded. "Squid Ink Bombs!" The Cephalo Force rotated its propeller with enough force tos end multiple explosives into the fleet, wiping out a large majority of the attacking Pyrafighters.

"Don't forget about us.", Trunks stated as he had the Jungle Megazord fire its cannon at three more ships, taking them out in one shot each.

"Let's take the battle to their element.", Johnny decided as he had the Cephalo Force lift off into the air. More Pyrafighters fired on it, but the Megazord used its Savage Saber to cut through the ships.

Onboard one of the ships, Cuborg laughed. "Perfect." He knocked the pilot out of the way to take control. "And now to send the message." He turned the ship towards the Cephalo Force, firing on it before crashing into the head, allowing him to appear in the cockpit before the Rangers.

"Cuborg?", Johnny exclaimed in shock.

"What're you doing here?", Marina asked.

"Oh, not much.", Cuborg answered before he ran over to Lenny, slashing him down. Then Marina leapt over to attack him, before he used a charged punch to send her flying backwards. Cuborg then ran up at high speed to grab Johnny by the neck. "How does it feel to be destroyed by the same power you've been trying to keep from Archris this whole time?"

Johnny was more confused than intimidated. "W-what are you talking about?"

"You mean your friend never told you?", Cuborg laughed. "Well then, I'll consider this the rehearsal." He then threw Johnny to the ground, before blasting him and the other two with a laser. "But I suggest you have your other bird friend fill you in before tomorrow. That will be the true end of the Power Rangers." Without an active operator, the Cephalo Force fell down and crashed into the Jungle Megazord, sending both keeling over, as Cuborg leapt free.

"Eh-what happened?", Tora asked. "Maybe you could give us some warning before you use us to soften your landing?"

"It wasn't a planned crash.", Marina shouted back. "Cuborg burst in and broke our focus."

"And I think Jeremy knows something about it.", Johnny added. "Come on, we've got some answers to gain."

On the ground, Jeremy lifted some rubble off a woman trapped in a building. "Are you okay?", he asked. "Get to safety."

"Thank you.", the woman nodded before running off.

"Luke soon came up to him. "That's the last of them.", he noted, before sighing and demorphing. He then heard his phone ringing and picked it up, seeing that the caller was Johnny. "Hello? Oh, Johnny. How'd the battle go?" He didn't like what he heard, but that wasn't why he pulled his phone away from his ears. "It's for you.", he said to Jeremy.

Jeremy picked up the phone to answer it. "Hello? What, when did you-? Never mind, we'll talk about it later. See us back at the zoo house." He then hung up.

"What was that about?", Luke asked.

Jeremy undid his morph. "We have a situation on our hands. And it's partially my fault."

Back on the Arrowhead, Ignoblia was showing off a large army of the Sentinels. "This should more than cover the loss of our fleet."

"And ensure that Operation: Contamination goes off smoothly.", Archris continued, as Cuborg entered the room. "Ah, Cuborg. I assumed the Rangers received your message."

"Indeed they did.", Cuborg laughed. "None of them could do a thing against my might. And I doubt they'll come up with a good enough counter in the measly amount of time I've given them. 24 hours."

"While Operation Contamination begins in 48 hours.", Ignoblia noted. "Even if the Rangers pull out a win, they'll have nowhere near enough time to stop that."

"In other words.", Cuborg stated. "Success is assured."

Back at the zoo house, the Rangers returned to find a notable absence. "Where's the Elder?", Johnny asked.

"He already left.", Sir Caesar answered, before presenting Jeremy with a book, that had certain pages marked. "But he left this behind, with a note that it could help us in our mission."

Jeremy picked up the book and looked at the cover. "It's a tome of old Cubalian legends.", he noted before turning to the marked page. "This is about the Eternity Heart…"

"Never mind that now.", Trunks stated as he came up and slammed the book shut. "We want some answers."

"What did Cuborg mean when he said he had our own power?", Marina asked. "He indicated that you'd know."

Jeremy sighed. "I was going to reveal this to you once I'd fully worked it out." He went over to his workbench and opened a drawer, pulling out a blue coloured cube. "But it seems my hand is being forced."

Everyone was shocked by the sight. "Is that…?", Lenny began to ask.

"It definitely is.", Luke answered him.

"One of Cuborg's circuit components,", Johnny clarified.

"No, not circuits.", Jeremy stated. "I've analysed this, and aside from a low level electric charge generator, there's no machinery of any kind in here. But there is something interesting. An organic component."

The Rangers were shocked to hear this. "Organic?", Tora questioned. "Does that mean that Cuborg's some kind of living being inside a metal suit?"

"Specifically, it's Neo-Cadmium.", Jeremy clarified. "Which is only capable of being generated by the Whale Zord or the Morphin Masters. Not only that, but Cuborg seemed to have his own form of Primal Power within him."

"Keldor did say that Archris was keeping some kind of secret from Cuborg.", Trunks recalled. " And I bet it was that he's an Animan that Archris kidnapped and turned into a cyborg."

"But why?", Lenny asked. "What would it get him?"

"I don't know.", Jeremy answered. "But I've figured out that we can use the Whale Morpher to completely destroy the armour simply by thinking of a chemical that can destroy anything. The Whale's power will then make it real. But it's not going to be that easy."

"What do you mean?", Johnny asked.

"A few days ago, Cuborg fought me in the woods, while you were dealing with Lense. I managed to damage him, but he absorbed the 4 Cubezords I'd acquired in my travels."

"So that explains his power upgrade.", Lenny realised.

"It also means that if you just blast him with the destructive agent, those Zords will be destroyed with him.", Sir Caesar pointed out.

"That's easily fixed.", Johnny pointed out. "We just need to destroy Cuborg once to get the Zords out and have him reassembled with the part we took from him. And then we attack him."

"Good plan.", Jeremy nodded. "But we'll still need to come up with a plan to ensure that outcome."

The next day, at noon, the 7 Rangers left the zoo house and walked (or in Jeremy's case, flew) to the nearby quarry, where Mantack and his army of memory clones had nearly killed them. "Alright Cuborg, we came to your death trap.", Johnny called out. "Come and face us."

"Very well then.", Cuborg announced as he teleported in. "Now, it's time we finally settle the score... Red Ranger "

Lenny, Tora and Trunks were all confused by this designation, due to their colourblindness "I'm sorry... Who?", Tora asked

"Yeah.. you're gonna need to be a bit more specific.", Trunks commented.

Cuborg was annoyed by this enough to clarify. "The red one... The RED one!"

"Who... Me?", Lenny asked

"No you're yellow!", Cuborg snarled

"I- uh- don't know what that means...", Lenny said in response.

"The Bird guy!", Cuborg yelled

Jeremy wasn't colourblind, but he still decided to join in the trolling. "Me?"

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!", Cuborg yelled, before composing himself. "Fine, I'll just kill you all and label you with your colours so your ghosts will know."

"Good luck with that one." Johnny stated as everyone pulled out their Morphers. "It's Morphin' Time!"

Everyone pulled out their Morphers, pressing the appropriate buttons and spinning to the appropriate faces. "Primal Spirits, Awaken!"

"Predator Spirits, Awaken!"

In a few seconds, everyone donned their Ranger suits and helmets, before proceeding with the standard roll call. "Soaring through the Skies, Wild Fury Eagle Ranger!"

"Terror of the Deep Seas, Wild Fury Shark Ranger!"

"Ruler of the Jungle, Wild Fury Lion Ranger!"

"Sage of the Plains, Wild Fury Elephant Ranger!"

"Wanderer of the Mountains, Wild Fury Tiger Ranger!"

"The Bestial Triumvirate, Wild Fury Chimera Ranger!"

"Call of the Wild, Power Rangers Wild Fury!"

"Predator of the Air, Wild Fury Bird Ranger!"

"I don't care about your intro.", Cuborg laughed as he pulled out his sword. "All I care about is the power I now have to take you down." He sent a charged slash at the 7 Rangers, who all leapt out of the way towards him. "Bacteri, attack!", he called as he threw down the appropriate coins.

And thus a fight began, with Johnny, Tora and Jeremy grabbing onto Cuborg, and flinging him into the woods. Once there, Jeremy engaged him in a swordfight. "I'll be taking those Cubes inside you back now.", he stated, before rolling along to launch a strike that was blocked by Cuborg's sword.

"No way.", Cuborg laughed. "I'm not gonna give up this power now that I have it." He then glowed with energy, before unleashing a strong breath that froze over Jeremy's Chain Saber, which its wielder quickly broke off, before delivering a slash that severed Cuborg's left arm.

But it swiftly reassembled. "Not in there.", Jeremy got out before Cuborg slammed that arm into Jeremy, before throwing him into a tree and kicking him. He then punched him and knocked him down to the ground, knocking him out of his morph. "You really are tougher than last time."

"All thanks to you.", Cuborg mocked. "You're in a bad position to take back your Zords."

"He would be if he was alone." Lenny called out as he, Marina, Trunks and Luke leapt onto the scene, engaging him in battle.

"But he's with us.", Luke continued the sentiment as he held onto Cuborg, with Lenny helping to push him back.

"Get your filthy mammal hands off me!", Cuborg yelled in a completely different voice as his eyes glowed, knocking the two back, before the glow dissipated and his normal voice returned. "You can't make a difference." He then started sword fighting Lenny, as Luke tried and failed to run in. "I'm invincible now."

Lenny ran back in to lock swords again. "What was that about?" Luke and Marina tried running in to attack, but were swatted aside.

"Brute force isn't working.", Trunks noted, as a group of Bacteri ran onto the scene. "And it seems we still have company."

"Then we should stop attacking simultaneously.", Johnny pointed out. "We strike together."

"Right, like a real team.", Jeremy nodded, as he morphed once again.

Johnny proceeded to change forms before running in. "Primal Change: Gorilla!"

Cuborg laughed. "There may be no confusing you two bird guys now, but that won't make a difference."

"Yeah? We'll see.", Johnny said as everyone ran into the battle.

From above the Earth, Archris and Ignoblia were observing everything. "They're going to discover the truth inevitably.", Archris noted. "I suppose it had a chance of happening."

Down on Earth, the fighting had resumed with Tora climbing onto the shoulders of a Bacteri so she could slash at the others. "You guys give surprisingly good piggyback rides.", she commented.

Marina ran forward to grab one and flip it over, while slashing another Bacterus. "Nice to see your dance partner's cooperating.", she commented as she slashed the one she had pulled down.

"Be serious, ladies.", Trunks chided them as he slashed through more Bacteri. "We do have some Zords to save here."

"Right.", Luke said in response as he charged into and knocked over some foes. "But first, we have to get past Cuborg's bodyguards." He then turned around to knock one straggler that was incoming.

"What is he?", Lenny asked as he leapt through the air to knock one over. "Too much of a braggart to do more than rough us up?"

"I heard that.", Cuborg growled as he continued to grapple with both Johnny and Jeremy. "Believe me, once the Bacteri fall, I'll add you to my wall along with your two friends here." Both Jeremy and Johnny avoided his sword swings, before Johnny leapt forward to try and hold him in place, only to be knocked aside.

"Don't worry.", Jeremy assured Johnny. "I think the Cubezords will be in his chest area. It's the one place we haven't looked."

"Then let's break it open.", Johnny decided.

Cuborg's eyes then glowed again, with the same change in voice. "You won't do anything, you mongrels!", he hissed before charging towards his foes, who pushed back and brought the fight back to the quarry. Once there, Cuborg continued to hold his ground against the pair, blocking their hits and knocking Jeremy back with a kick.

"Now's our chance.", Johnny decided as he grabbed onto Cuborg's arm. "Jeremy, do it now."

Cuborg's normal consciousness then resumed. "Wh-what are you doing?"

"Okay.", Jeremy said as he climbed back onto his feet. "Primal Mode, Unleash!" As Cuborg knocked Johnny off him, Jeremy flew in to deliver a slash, before Johnny unleashed some punches to further weaken the area. Jeremy then came flying sideways to strike.

"One of these days, I wish you pests would just stay still.", Cuborg growled. He tried unleashing his Doom Barrage, but Jeremy avoided every strike expertly.

Johnny then came rolling in, managing to beat Cuborg back. "It's time we cracked you open, you tin can." He delivered an uppercut to knock Cuborg's arms apart, before delivering a blow to his chest. "Sonic Punch!"

The force of this hit proved so great that Cuborg exploded, sending the 4 Cubes into the hands of their usual wielders. "Now we can get around to phase two.", Marina noted.

"Not yet.", Johnny said as he approached Jeremy. "We need to wait a moment!"

As if on cue, the cube was sucked out of Jeremy's hands and rejoined the rest in reconstructing Cuborg, who seemed to be possessed by the other presence. "I'm almost complete!", he hissed. "I just need to break free." He ran in and began swinging his sword at the Rangers, knocking Jeremy aside, before overpowering Johnny.

"No!", Jeremy called out as he ran over to Johnny.

But Cuborg engaged and knocked him back. "Putrid poultry!"

Jeremy managed to land in the arms of Marina and Luke. "Ow.", the latter of the two commented.

"Doom Barrage!", Cuborg announced as he drew his sword across the ground, creating an explosion which sent the other Rangers back.

"Alright, time to bring out the big guns.", Johnny stated as he summoned the Whale Morpher.

"Oh no, there's no retreat into Whale Form for you.", Cuborg announced as he knocked Johnny's arm back, before knocking the Golden Cube out of Johnny's hand.

"Come on, we can't just sit here.", Tora said. "Johnny needs all the help he can get." Everyoen got up and ran in…

All except for Jeremy. "The Whale Morpher… it's our one chance…", he wheezed as he staggered towards it. He reached down to pick it up. "I just need to create the Neo-Cadmium destruction agent." He then pulled the Golden Cube into its cannon mode. "Time to lend me your power, Whale Zord." He pulled on the handle 3 times and then aimed it at Cuborg, as a set of wings manifested on his back. "Super Primal Blow!"

Johnny then turned around to see the attack. "Get out of the way!", he called out to the others, as Jeremy fired the beam, which hit the ground before redirecting into Cuborg.

"What's happening?", Cuborg asked as the beam made contact, a familiar image of what seemed to be the Red Ranger's power up performing the same attack. Only it wasn't anywhere on Earth. And the voice was wrong. Or was it? It sounded familiar. Yes, Cuborg recognised it.

As the beam cleared, Cuborg's whole body turned into stone, with Johnny being the first to climb back onto his feet. "Is that it?", Johnny asked. "Is it over?"

"It's over.", Jeremy said, before he collapsed, his morph undoing itself. "It seems using this without the direct approval has a bit of a kick to it."

The other Rangers ran over to him, undoing their morphs. "Don't worry, Jeremy.", Marina assured him. "We did it. Cuborg's been neutralised. We just need to pound him into submission."

"Good luck with that." As the second voice that had recently been coming out of Cuborg spoke, the rocks began to shatter. "Thanks to your friend, I've been set free from the shackles placed on me."

Everyone was shocked by this. "It can't be.", Luke gasped.

"Cuborg?", Tora questioned.

"No. Not Cuborg.", the figure answered as his cube features began to disintegrate away, being replaced by insect like features. "Not anymore." He threw his sword aside as the Neo-Cadmium in his body completely disintegrated, revealing a creature everyone had seen before, in the vision shown by the Primal Force. "Now, I am Centitrax once more!"

Everyone from Cubalia in the quarry was now terrified. "You mean, Centitrax the Destroyer?", Lenny quivered. "Herald of Floriana?"

"That's impossible.", Marina said defiantly. "Jonas destroyed you in the past."

"My body, yes.", Centitrax answered. "But he didn't know that I had come into possession of the Eternity Heart."

"Of course.", Trunks realised. "That old legend the Elder gave us. It was about an artefact that absorbs energy from around itself to increase and restore the life of the wielder."

"Exactly.", Centitrax commented. Marina and Lenny thought back to their first meeting with the creature they had called Cuborg, when the two of them were left exhausted after his revival - an exhaustion they had at the time attributed to damage sustained in battle. "But when Jonas launched my remains into space, the Eternity Heart was locked in a meteorite made of Neo-Cadmium, sent hurtling through the universe, unable to absorb any energy. But then Archris found the meteorite and melted down the outer shell into a body with the Eternity Heart used to provide it with a basic AI and a way to reconstruct itself, while charging it with electrical energy to allow for revival with ease. Thus creating what you called 'Cuborg'. But since then, every time you Rangers destroyed my new body, I was able to partially restore myself in body and mind every time. Until right now, when the energy I absorbed from the 4 Cubezords, combined with the attack your avian friend tried using on me, made me whole once again."

"Well I hope you enjoyed your few seconds of re-life, Centitrax.", Johnny stated, as everyoen except Jeremy pulled out their Morphers. "Because we're going to send you back to the other side."

Everyone morphed and then ran towards Centitrax. "You fools.", he stated as he tapped his foot, generating multiple explosions. "I brought Cubalia to its knees while the humans had barely created roads." He then took down all of the Rangers in one hit each with his bare arms. Lenny and Luke put up more of a fight, but Centitrax ended up sending them flying with a pair of punches. When the other 4 tried attacking with their Primal Sabers, he unleashed a shockwave which sent them all flying backwards. "You have no hope!"

"I hate to say it, but he might be right.", Marina wheezed out.

"We're not beat yet.", Lenny said as he pulled himself up.

"Right.", Luke added as he did likewise. "We just need to destroy that heart thing. Super Primal Mode, Unleash!" He assumed his strongest form.

The others did likewise. "Primal Mode, Unleash!"

Luke was the first to launch his attack. "Darkness Charge!"

But this attack failed to harm Centitrax. "Fools!", he laughed as he proceeded to swat all of the Rangers away as they came in to attack. "I was born of the elements. They won't harm me." He then pounded his fist into the ground, creating a shockwave that created geysers of fire that sent all the Rangers flying, knocking them out of their suits.

"Well, go on then.", Marina wheezed. "If you're so good, why don't you just kill us now?"

Centitrax laughed. "Much as I'd love to tear all you Animen limb from limb for what you did to my people, you did break me free from my torment. For that, I'll not only spare your lives, but I'll tell you all about Operation: Contamination."

"Something tells me that's not Archris's new campaign to clean up pollution.", Johnny snarked.

"No.", Centitrax stated. "Project: Contamination will involve Archris shooting the core of the Arrowhead into your planet's crust, humans. And then it will burrow to the core and bombard the prions within it with negative prions. And everyone knows that positives and negatives cannot react without destroying each other."

"You'll destroy the whole planet.", Trunks surmised. "And everyone on it will die."

"You catch on fast.", Centitrax laughed. "All of you have 24 hours until it begins. I suggest you say your farewells now." He then teleported away.

Jeremy then pulled himself up. "The end of the world, huh?", he commented. "I guess there isn't much e can do alone to stop that. It's game over then."

"It's not a game.", Johnny stated. "And it's not over. We've had the means to speak to the Legendary Power Rangers for a while now. It's time we used it to save the world."

Onboard the Arrowhead, Centitrax burst into the room. "Cuborg, I'm glad tos Ee you restored to your normal -.", Ignoblia sputtered weakly.

"Cease your snivelling, wench.", Centitrax responded as he backhanded her to the floor. "Archris, if you hadn't informed me of the details behind my origins while I was amnesiac, I'd be sorely tempted to end your existence here."

"Then you're showing more restraint than I am, Centitrax.", Archris growled, as he stood up. "Why did you tell them of my plans? You were supposed to destroy them so they can't interfere."

"I know they can't interfere, alive or dead.", Centitrax claimed. "I just told the about Operation: Contamination so they would think they had a chance to stop it. When in fact, they'll die with the Earth."

"Ah.", Archris said, approvingly. "And I suppose once we're done with the planet, you'll be terminating our long term partnership."

"Not if we meet on one condition.", Centitrax answered. "After we're done with this mudball, you let me finish the job I started for Floriana and destroy my own planet."

"Cubalia?", Archris questioned. "Why not? They've caused me as much trouble as Earth. Once we're done here, it'll be yours for the taking."

"Thank you.", Centitrax said as he shook hands with Archris. "Tomorrow will see the end of the Power Rangers, and then we begin the fall of the universe."
