Just after Hunted, where Garmadon retreats to a life with Lloyd in his palace far north of Ninjago city
Lloyd grabbed the rope and swung down, having two of his four arms on the rope. He wore a very tradition outfit, imbedded with purple and black scales. A milky white gemstone on a necklace dangled from his chest, and he had a matching blind eye after a fight with Kai, the green ninja. He looked around, his right eye covered with a scrappy eye patch. He hit the ground, looking around before the rope was slowly pulled back into the air ship. Lloyd's hair was long, flowing freely in the wind like a lions mane. He pulled up his half mask and hid behind a tree, pressing his body against the bark. Two teenagers came walking out, one holding a flashlight.
"I swear I saw something!" Argued One.
"They're clearly isn't anyone here. Let's go, it's really dark."
"Oh come on! You can't be afraid of the dark can you?"
"Am not!"
"Am too!"
The bickering continued before Lloyd silently hoisted himself into the branches of the tree, directly above them. A small branch snapped under his weight and he scrabbled back, flicking his pointed ears.
"Did you hear that?" Whispered the second one. They both looked up slowly, before looking Lloyd dead in the eyes. His eyes shone a bright purple, and the two almost fell back with fear.
"Run!"
Lloyd licked the blood off of his dagger, his long tongue coiling around the silver blade. He kicked the body out the way, before spotting the walls of the school and smirking to himself. Years ago, when Lloyd was a mere child, he was bullied and kicked out of Darkley's boarding school for bad boys because he hadn't been bad enough. Now, being known as Ninjago's most evil and wanted, he felt better then everyone else. Lloyd was now not only the Master of Destruction and Prince of shadows, but a feared villain. They had doubted him, misjudged his potential.
He got rid of his second pair of arms, a soft purple glow shining from the darkness. If he wanted to prove himself to his father, he needed to take away things that made his goal way too easy. The goal being to kidnap two students and kill the principal, which Lloyd didn't take lightly to.
He sighed and scaled the wall, easy climbing over it. He looked around before reaching to the doors to the main entrance, his pride high.
Maybe if he didn't screw up, then his Father would finally see the great warrior and assassin that he was. Or maybe he was just another pawn for Lord Garmadon to move, he didn't quite know yet.
Lloyd hesitated, the entrance was too easy, too simple. He looked around, trying to find another way in. An open window on the 5th story caught his attention and he quickly jumped onto the roof, before climbing the crimson shingles and making it onto the 5th story.
The sound of footsteps made him scrabble back, he quickly ducked clutching his dagger. Two students came running down the hallway, laughing and talking as they went. Lloyd felt a surge of disgust towards them, and crawled into the window slowly. He followed them from the shadows, before noticing that they had familiar faces.
"Did you hear? Apparently Lloyd Garmadon is super famous now." Started the black haired one on the right.
"Eh, remind me who that was again." Replied the ginger on the left, rolling his eyes.
"I don't know, but I remember doing something to him. He's also a ex-student here?"
"Doesn't sound like anything big to me."
Gene and Brad. That's what their names were, they were the ones that bullied him when he was a child. He clenched his dagger in frustration and watched them both standing outside of their separate rooms.
"Don't worry. It's our second last year here, nobody will pick on us!" Said Brad, flicking his hair out his face. Gene smiled evilly (or at least tried to,) before waving and entering his dorm. Brad did the same and entered his. Lloyd flicked his tail in annoyance, this might actually take some effort out of him. He sighed and noticed that Brad had accidentally left part of his door open. Lloyd smiled, that was perfect timing.
He dragged both students outside, onto the roof and other the walls, trying not to bruise them. Lloyd would check their heart rates every now and then, just to make sure they were alive. But if they were dead it wasn't a big deal. More like Lloyd had to do extra work, but he didn't mind if he got the thumbs up from his father. Bard opened his eyes wearily before spotting Lloyd pulling him with the ropes wrapped around his body and screamed into his clothe gag. He tried to wriggle out of the ropes but they were just too tight, and dangled his feet against the dusty floor. Lloyd turned around and noticed, before stopping and letting go of him.
"If your name is Brad then nod once." He commanded, his voice littered with impatience. Brad nodded. "Listen Brad, I don't actually want to hurt you, and by that I mean I literally couldn't care less about you, but my father decided it would be a fun little mission for me to come here and take two of you lot, so yeah." He leaned in. "After that you'll probably be put out of your misery, or let free. Your guess is as good as mine." He shrugged. Brad thrashed, his feet trying to flick dust at Lloyd. Lloyd sighed.
"You aren't making this any easier. If you try to escape, or even escape somehow even though I've bound every limb possible on you pathetic humans, I will hunt you and track you down like the mindless rats in your meals. Understood?"
Brad nodded in fear.
"Great. I might even put in a good word for you guys, making like the slaughtering less gruesome? Yet again, the King of Shadows might not be too happy about that." Lloyd noticed the pure amount pf fear and helplessness in Brad's eyes. He sighed and crouched down. "Listen, once we get to my fathers palace then I'll show you to him and let you guys go. I promise." He smiled and pulled his gag down. "But don't tell anyone!"
"T-thank you…"
"Why are all the students here in partners anyway? Is there like a buddy system or something?"
"Yup… they added it in after the students started to go missing…"
"Oh. That's ironic."
"I was just thinking that!" Brad laughed nervously. "What's it like anyway? Being the Som of Garmadon? Do you get any special privileges?"
"Yeah, I'm allowed to all the restricted stuff in the libraries, there's actually a really ancient scroll that-" he stopped, hesitating. "No. Get the mission done Lloyd, that's all that matters." Lloyd walked in silence for a few minutes.
"Why isn't your friend waking up?"
"Gene likes sleeping… but I'm starting to think that he's been sleeping for a bit too long."
"Gross, all you humans do is talk about each other, it's makes me sick."
"Well, you're doing this for your father aren't you? Isn't that the same?"
"N-no… we're like, work partners, or like, he's the manager and I'm the worker. We aren't like you with your…"
"Friendships?"
"… yeah. That."
"Even villains need friends!"
"The last person who said that to me betrayed me and got eaten by the great devourer."
"I'm sorry what-"
"Don't ask." They arrived at the ships parked spot, and Lloyd chucked Gene down.
"You amuse me human." He dropped him as well. "Maybe the stars have made our oaths cross for a reason, but for now, I've got a job to do." He pressed his finger to the earpiece and whispered something through it. "I'll talk to my Father. I'll have you spared. And maybe your little friend as well."
