Runaway

Emma Didn't like that her future was written out for her. She was a rebel.She loved her mother, but knowing that an entire kingdom was waiting for her to come back and save them from an evil queen…

When she was young and her mom told her sanitized versions of her destiny. She knew that she was going to grow up and be a knight. She entertained little girl Fantasies of being the knight and making the queen fall in love with her, and turning her good.

But as she got older, her mother began telling her how unredeemable this woman was. And she was supposed to fight her?

So when she was 13 she ran away. She wasn't for that bull shit. She spent a whole night out on the street. The next day she was hungry and didn't have any food. So she went into a grocery store. This one girl taught her how to steal the necessities, and Emma was smitten.

She knew that the life that waited for her, if she went back and saved her kingdom, she was going to probably have to marry some prince and shit. Emma did not want to do that. Right then she just wanted Lily.

She was a runaway like her, Her parents were super strict and didn't let her do anything. It reminded her of her Mother. Emma spent that entire day with Lily. Getting her very first kiss from her. She wanted to be with her forever.

They broke into an empty house. The family seemed rich. They had all the greatest toys. Mom made an okay living as a teacher, but she couldn't afford everything.

She and Lily settled in the basement rec room, and made out. Then suddenly there was a light, and the man called Lily out by name.

"I thought you had run away.." She said to Lily.

"Emma, I'm Sorry!" Lily said. Emma ran out of the house at full speed. While she ran someone caught her.

"Let me go!" She fought him using the skills her mother had taught her for the enchanted forest fights.

"Whoa!" August said shaking her to get her awareness back. "Mom has been looking for you for TWO days Emma!"

Emma only took in her brother's face and broke down crying. She was taken back home and grounded for eternity. Like three weeks.
