After gaining their first pokemon… Yvonne and Mel decides to head to Saltalune City. As they were walking on Route 4.
Yvonne: "Hey Mel, if you were to catch one pokemon in any region, what would it be?"
Mel: "Honestly.. I just want to find a Pikachu." I said looking down at my bag
Yvonne: "Wait, Are you trying to catch one because of the World's #1's Pikachu?"
Mel: "Nah, I just want one because after we beat a few gyms in Kalos, I want to head to the Alola Region!"
Yvonne: "Aw.. No fair. I wanted to go to Hoenn after this.. Maybe check out the coordination battles."
Mel: "Oh come on. Why should we have to go to Hoenn? Alola is much more nicer than Hoenn!"
Yvonne: "Take that back right now." She frowned
Mel: "No." Smug look
Yvonne: "Ugh. we have to settle it in a battle! Right now!"
Mel: "Pfft. We're in a forest. What makes it so you wouldn't just use Charmander to burn up the trees."
Yvonne: "Hmph. When we get to a area with no trees."
A few hours of walking later as it turns night.
Yvonne: "Hey Mel? Do you think we're lost?" Yvonne said, worried
Mel: "Probably not."
The Two arrived at a little area where it wasn't as much trees around.
Mel: "Though… Now's a perfect time to battle! Chespin against Charmander! Im sure we've had our fair share of trainer battles so we can Battle." I would smirk at this remark
Yvonne: "Alright. Charmander, I choose you!" Yvonne said throwing her pokeball
Mel: "Chespin, I choose you!" I said throwing my pokeball
Mel: "Chespin! Use Vine Whip!"
Yvonne: "Counter with Ember!"
At this collision, Chespin takes alot of Damage due to Ember
Mel: "Tch. Fire counters Grass.. Ofcourse but I prepared for it! Chespin use Rollout!"
Chespin would use Rollout as the it dashed towards Charmander
Yvonne: "Quick Dodge it!"
Charmander would try to dodge Chespin's Rollout Attack, but to no avail it gets hit easily and it faints.
Mel: "Heh. Nice." Smirks
Yvonne: "Aw Man.." She picks up Charmander and returns him to it's pokeball
Soon after that, Alain walks by. . .
Alain: "Hm. Interesting Battle."
Yvonne: "Alain?" She was surprised One of the Master 8 was here with the two of them.
Alain: "Yeah. I was watching your battle. I can speak for you two that you will have challenges ahead, but You will improve slowly. But for now, Take these."
Alain tossed the two of them Bags with Pokeballs, Potions, and Rope.
Alain: "Well then. That's all." He walks off.
Mel: ". . . What… Just happened?..."
Yvonne: "We just made contact with one of the Master 8! Darn. I should of asked for a battle.."
Mel: "You want to battle one of the top 8 Trainers in the World, with a Charmander?..."
Yvonne: "Well… Yeah!" She heals Charmander
Mel: ". . .Let's just get to Saltalune City to battle the gym. We have a long road ahead. . ."
Yvonne: "Wait, But it's night. Did you take any sleeping bags?"
Mel: ". . .Oh… Sna-"
