"Baby," Olivia stood in front of Fitz with a blanket draped around her.

Looking up at her, Fitz sighed as he pressed pause on his video game controller. Setting the device aside, he pulled Olivia onto his lap and pecked her lips.

"Yes, my love?" Fitz replied.

With her legs stretched on either side of his body, Olivia wrapped her blanket around them both. She then began to run her fingers through his hair as she stared into his gorgeous blue eyes.

Fitz reached up and pinched her cute nose. She grimaced at him as usual. He chuckled. "What's up, Fireball?"

Olivia let out a dreamy sigh before playfully posing a rather peculiar question. "Would you still love me if I was a worm?"

Good Lord, Fitz thought. His eyebrows furrowed in a perplexed expression. It had been nearly a full forty-eight hours since the city had issued a shelter-in-place order due to the blizzard, and during that time, he had endured all sorts of eccentricities driven by sheer boredom.

Ever the pleasing and dotting boyfriend, he soldiered through most of her shenanigans without gripe. He didn't mind it when Olivia forced him to do yoga, and had him in these complex poses that ached his limbs. He went along with learning the steps to Tamia's line dance with her, even though he has two left feet. He didn't protest through the facial routine she made him sit for. He didn't utter a single complaint when she attempted to braid his hair, nor when she painted his nails with glitter polish.

But this worm business was his last straw. She was off from work the coming week for midterm recess and Fitz couldn't imagine another seven days of this madness.

"Okay, that's it." Fitz huffed as he stood and threw Olivia over his shoulder in a fireman's carry. "We're getting out of New York." He said with determination.

Slumped over his shoulders as if she was a bag of rice, Olivia kicked her legs and smacked his butt in protest. "Unhand me, you beast! Now."

His continuous steps towards their bedroom were unfaltering. Instead, Fitz slapped her ass back and turned his head to lightly bite her as well. "Why are you such a weirdo?" He gibed.

"Ow baby!" Olivia shrieked and moaned at the contact of his palm and his teeth against her flesh. "Do the other side so it can be even."

"See what I mean?" Fitz humored her and gave her another gentle spank before he lowered her on their bed.

"Now what?" Olivia smirked mischievously.

Fitz rolled his eyes. "Where's your laptop?"

Olivia pointed towards the closet. Fitz went in there and returned seconds later with the device in hand.

"Scoot over, Nerd." Fitz shooed.

Olivia shifted to the middle of the bed to make space for him. Fitz climbed on the bed and propped some pillows behind her back before he settled in between her thighs; his back pressed to her chest. Olivia peppered kisses against his forehead as he powered on the laptop, keyed in her passcode and pulled up google.

"Where are we going?" She prompted.

Fitz looked up at her. He actually didn't have the faintest idea. He was sort of carpe dieming this whole thing. He thought for a moment. It was the middle of Winter and there were tons of Winter activities they could do together.

"You know how to ski, right?"

Olivia nodded. She wasn't the best at it, but she knew enough from her lessons in Switzerland when her parents used to take her during winter holidays.

"The mountains then?" Fitz suggested.

Olivia shrugged. "Sure. Could be fun."

And so they begin planning for a short trip to the mountains. They debated between New Hampshire, Colorado and Vermont. But ultimately, Vermont won out because they've talked about going together so many times. This proved to be the perfect opportunity. They opted to roadtrip into VT and booked for a three day adventure at a charming resort in Stowe.

Since Fitz now had foresight into what school recess without plans could entail, they decided to also plan ahead for Spring break. After a lot of back and forth, they agreed on a European holiday to Paris. Fitz reserved first class tickets through Air France. No further itineraries were put together beyond that. They were waiting on confirmation from Tristan on whether or not it was possible to stay at his vacant estate in the city. He had this fabulous condo in the 7th arrondissement with an elite view of the Eiffel Tower. It would be perfect

After over two hours of surfing the net and playing travel agent, Fitz put the laptop away and crawled on top of Olivia.

She instantly wrapped her legs around his torso. She wore a teasing grin as she stared lovingly into his eyes. "You do realize that a simple question just cost you twenty-five grand, right?"

Fitz laughed at the irony. She had a really good point but he didn't care. It was money well spent, and he was too excited for all of their future plans together. He could hardly believe that he's gone from never traveling to taking multiple trips in a year. And not only that, he was in awe of his lifelong companion for all of it.

He kissed Olivia's lips and quickly flipped their position so that she was on top. She squealed and giggled against his mouth. He pulled away with a grin. Staring at her beautiful face, he brushed her curls behind her ears. "I'm so excited. You're my favorite person to do life with." He said.

Olivia beamed. He always said the sweetest things to her and she failed to resist meeting him in another gentle smooch.

"Me too baby." She mumbled against his lips.

Fitz smiled, kissing her more aggressively and passionately. He pushed her shirt up and made quick work of discarding it.

"You still haven't answered my question.'' Olivia panted.

Fitz groaned. This again. "Oliviaaaa, please! If you were a worm, you'd be fish bait."

Olivia fused their lips together again. Humming. Teasing him as she gently bit his lower lip. "So romantic of you Casanova." She said sarcastically.

"Mhmmm…" Fitz deepened their kiss again, slipping his tongue past her lips. His big hands cupped her naked breasts. He gave them the perfect squeeze before he started rolling the nipples between his fingers. The added stimulation drove Olivia impossibly wild and made her feel powerless against gyrating her crotch on his hardening cock.

The friction was killing Fitz. His hands left her breasts to wander against the rest of her body. He hugged her tightly, inhaling deeply as he swallowed her tongue. His hands traveled down her back, and squeezed her hips as she continued to grind against him. When he couldn't take it any longer, he dipped his hand inside her shorts and grabbed a handful of her ass. He kneaded the flesh as he controlled the rhythm of her rocking hips on him.

"I want it. I need it." Olivia purred in his ear, sucking his earlobe into her mouth.

She knew very well what she was doing and it was working all too flawlessly on Fitz.

Fitz growled, sinking his teeth into her neck, leaving a memory. "What is it that you want?" He whispered.

Reaching in between them, Olivia slipped her hand inside his flannel pajamas. God. He was so fucking erect and thick, and he stood strong and beautiful. She wrapped her palm around him and gave him a hard squeeze. He growled at her again, fighting and losing against the urge to thrust into her hand.

"You gonna make me beg?" Olivia looked into his eyes as she licked his lips.

Cocking his brows in amusement, Fitz could barely suppress his smirk. He could admit when he's been bested. And right now, she had him by the balls. Quite literally. Her hands felt amazing massaging and pulling them.

"Damn!" He slapped her ass. Harder than he meant to, and she fucking moaned. Which only drove him inevitably crazy. He grabbed her by the throat and kissed her roughly, stealing all oxygen from her lungs. When he pulled away, her lips were swollen and tingling.

"Take this shit off and come sit on my face." He commanded, while pulling at the waistband of her sleep shorts. "I wanna show you all the things I wouldn't be able to do to you if you were a worm."

Olivia felt her insides shaking and her clit throbbing in excitement. "Don't threaten me with a good time."

The snow cleared up the following night and with the roads cleaned and safe for travel again, they packed up The General on Tuesday morning for a nice road trip to Stowe.

Like anything else they do together, this trip was fun. The drive was smooth. They left at the perfect time. Not too much traffic, clear roads, and a fantastically curated list of entertainments.

As Fitz drove, the scenery got more unreal the closer they got to the mountains. And through it all, Olivia was the perfect passenger princess - playing in Fitz's hair, distracting him with kisses at stop lights, feeding him snacks, holding his hand and sharing laughs over the podcast they were listening to. It made Olivia so happy to be creating such beautiful memories with the man she loves.

After a little over four hours of driving, they arrived at their destination in Vermont. They checked in for their reservations at The Lodge at Spruce Peak. The property looked picturesque with dustings of frozen snow decorating the building's roof and edges.

Once they settled into their Alpine view chalet, they took quick showers and then headed down for a late lunch/early dinner at the resort's bar. Later in the evening, when the sun went down and darkness fell on the town, the resort's lights came on and casted this magical glow on the mountains.

Fitz and Olivia joined many of the resort's guests on the outdoor ice skating rinks in the Village. They made fools of themselves on their skates - gliding over the ice as they held hands like a couple of teenagers. It was so fun and wonderful. They sang along to the music playing through the outdoor speakers, they attempted to dance but just ended up falling. They laughed, they took pictures and mostly, they kissed without a care in the world.

Later, once they retired back to their suite for the night, they took a nice, warm bath together. They took turns massaging each other's calves and feet after being on the skates for hours. After their shower, they turned on the fireplace and sipped hot tea as they watched dusts of snow melt in the distance.

Olivia cuddled closer and inhaled Fitz's unique scent. She sighed happily. In turn, Fitz rubbed her back and kissed her temple.

"This feels right." Olivia confessed.

And by that, she meant them — in Vermont, just like this. It was no longer just a fantasy anymore. She could do this. They could do this. Be happy here - for holidays, or whenever they needed a getaway. She imagined them carving out a little sanctuary here and making a ritual of coming here to teach their children how to ski, skate, and bake s'mores.

"Yeah?" Fitz puzzled, eyes shimmering with glee.

Olivia nodded then tilted her head up to kiss his chin. "Yeah." She replied.

"More." Fitz demanded, grabbing her face and locking her lips against his.

Fitz was obsessed with the way he and Olivia fit. He was obsessed with her lips, her touches, her love. She was perfect. And no matter what he did, he could never get enough of her.

He continued kissing her — slowly, softly, deeply and thoroughly until they both felt dizzy and bereft of air.

Olivia rested her forehead against his as she tried to catch her breath. A deep blush colored her cheeks as she thought about how loved and desired she felt by Fitz. She couldn't believe they shared a mutual level of obsession with each other.

"I love our life together."

They both smiled as they kissed again.

"Ditto."

The rest of their stay was a blast. They had so much fun on the hills, riding the gondolas and seeing the mountain's enchantments from a bird's eye view. They played like children on the slopes in the fluffy snow. They engaged in some fun competition — racing to see who could glide faster on their skis. Initiating impromptu sneak attacks and snowball fights. It was awesome.

When they had their fill of snow activities, they ate ravenously — devouring bites of ricotta or sweet potato pancakes topped with fresh fruits and organic maple syrup. They visited the downtown area for lunch or dinner dates; hunting down the best spots for apple cider donuts, stopping by for a cold treat at the original Ben & Jerry's factory. They explored many of the local shops — striking fun conversations with friendly strangers, buying little trinkets for their apartment and for themselves. A cool magnet here, a matching bracelet there. An overpriced branded sweater that they vowed to share. Yummy fruit jams to feed into Fitz's sweet tooth. Mini bottles of maple syrup just because they looked cute. They went on a brewery tour. Olivia couldn't stand the smells in there, but Fitz had a blast learning about the brewing process for different beers, sampling delicious ales and kissing Olivia silly when he got tipsy.

On their last night, as they were getting ready for bed, they both received text notifications from Harrison. The message was a few shared photos captioned "Save the date! She said YES." In one of the pictures, Cece was donning a stunning six carat, light yellow, oval cut diamond on a 14k platinum gold band. Olivia zoomed in on the picture as she smiled from ear to ear. Cece looked so happy. Olivia flipped through the other pictures and stopped at the singular shot of the ring to marvel at the jewelry. Harrison had done an incredible job picking this ring. The metal work was impeccable with unique little details. There were these round and marquise shaped diamonds adorning the band and on the inside, there were these small heartfelt inscriptions. It was the perfect ring for Cece.

Olivia screamed of joy so loudly that Fitz had to muffle her sounds with his palm, before they got a noise complaint. But Olivia's excitement still couldn't be tamed as she started to bounce on the bed.

"He did it!" Olivia said both in disbelief and immense pride. "He actually fucking did it. Oh my God!"

Fitz laughed while he pulled Olivia down to lay with him. He kissed the back of her neck and thought 'you're next'. They texted their friends back with congratulations and excited emojis and then put the phones away for the night. As they snuggled, they made small talks in between long yawns before sleep took them.

"Babe. We have to throw them an engagement party."

"Okay bebe."

"I have a secret."

"Mmmyeah…what?"

"I have this massive crush on you and I don't think it's going away."

A tired grin followed by a sweet kiss.

"That's the best secret ever."

A beat of silence and soft snores bouncing throughout the walls.

"Baby, I think I want the dog we talked about."

Olivia kissed his chest as she rubbed his stomach and chest.

"Okay papa."

Friday, on their return back to New York, they made a pit stop at The Pope's for a surprise visit. They took the parents out for a nice lunch. Maya was elated; she loved that she saw her daughter more often and that she was always accompanied by her handsome other half. Dom gave them a great recommendation for a realtor when they shared they were looking to buy a place together before next fall.

By the time Olivia and Fitz made it home in the city, it was evening and they were spent. They didn't bother unpacking. Instead they showered, ate a delicious Chinese food dinner, and fell asleep watching anime.

"Baby, I'm leaving." Fitz hollered.

It was Saturday and he was running late to meet up with Harrison and Stephen for a friendly game of basketball at the Prospect Park YMCA in Brooklyn. Fitz swung his duffel bag over his shoulders and started to exit the closet. He bumped into Olivia's wet body fresh from the shower.

"Where are you rushing off to without kissing me goodbye?" Olivia pouted.

Fitz pinched her cute nose and she grimaced. "Stop pouting." He teased. "I'm gonna go play basketball with the boys at the Y."

Olivia pouted even more and Fitz rolled his eyes. She always did this to him when he had to leave her.

"Oh my God. You're so dramatic." He chuckled.

Leaning in, he placed a kiss on her juicy, pouty lips. She tasted minty fresh and smelled even better. Fitz inhaled her scent deeply.

"You smell so good. I wanna eat you." He flirted.

Olivia raised her eyebrows suggestively and gestured for him to get on his knees.

Fitz shook his head. "You don't play fair. I gots things to do, places to be, woman." He said.

"I learned that shit from you, you know?" Olivia argued with a laugh.

Fitz kissed her lips again to shut her up. "Whatever, whatever!" He laughed with her. "What are you gonna do while I'm gone?"

Olivia shrugged, unsure. "Maybe go to the bookstore or hang out with Abs."

Fitz nodded as he stared at her lips. They looked so irresistible and he's never been one to resist Olivia Pope. He stroked her cheek and pinched her chin to bring her lips back to his.

"Sounds good." He murmured. "You have money?"

Olivia smiled against his mouth. "Yeah, baby. I have money."

"Okay, don't care. Use my card instead." Fitz pulled away when he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. A glance at his apple watch told him it was a text from Stephen asking him where he was. He really had to go.

He fished out his wallet and handed his Amex credit card to Olivia. She took it from him and then fused their lips together again. She urged his tongue to come out and play. Fitz obliged, slipping his tongue past her lips and kissing her deeply as he hugged her waist. Too soon things were escalating and he had to summon all the willpower he possessed to pull away.

"This is witchcraft." Fitz blinked as he tried to catch his breath. "Kick me out before I cancel on the guys."

Olivia laughed at him as she watched him adjust himself. Why were they this way?

"Fine. I release you." She joked. "Vaya con Dios!"

Fitz pecked her lips one last time. "Chili con queso!" He replied.

Olivia snorted while staring at him lovingly. "You just said chile with cheese."

"Oh." Fitz laughed. "Well, why don't we do that for dinner then? Look up a recipe and place an Instacart order. When we get home later we can do a date night in. Cook together and catch up on those trashy reality TV shows you love so much."

Olivia moaned. Gosh, that sounded so freaking perfect and he was so hot for suggesting it.

"Dude, you're so on." She said, "Now get out of here before I jump you."

With some free time to herself and no boyfriend to pester, Olivia decided to get dressed and do a little cleaning spree. She vacuumed and mopped the entire apartment. She dusted the bookshelf in the living room, put away dishes, and neatly made her bed. She put on some tunes and enjoyed some fruit as she danced around the kitchen. After a little while, she threw on her shoes and jacket and decided to go for a drive.

Her solo adventure led her to a quaint shopping plaza. She spotted a Starbucks and walked in to satisfy her cravings for chai tea and lemon loaf. Then she strolled to the Barnes & Noble bookstore café, where she spent over an hour browsing the shelves for new gems. The bookstore was one of her favorite places on Earth. She adored everything about bookstores, from the worn carpets to the tall bookshelves, colorful walls, the fresh aroma of coffee, books, and scented candles, and the soothing, upbeat music choices.

She spent a significant amount of time in the murder mystery and historical fiction section, picking out a few interesting books for herself. Then she ventured to the children's section, selecting some childhood favorites for her students and nursery rhymes and fun illustrations for Noah, Isaac's baby. By the time she reached the checkout counter, it was lunchtime, and she was famished.

As she walked back to her car, she decided to Facetime Abby to invite her to lunch.

When Abby answered, it appeared she was at her apartment. Olivia was surprised.

"Wait, you're not working today?" Olivia asked.

Abby shook her head. "I only work every other weekend now," she answered. "You look great. Where are you?"

"Just leaving the bookstore," Olivia replied. "I miss you. Wanna meet me for lunch? Fitz is paying."

"Hell yeah!" Abby quickly accepted. "Where are we eating?"

Olivia shrugged. "You pick."

"PF Chang's? For old times' sake?" Abby suggested.

When they were teenagers, they used to frequent PF Chang's for their chocolate cake desserts. By the time they were in college and could legally drink, they would go for the drinks and appetizers. Olivia was a huge fan of the chicken lettuce wrap on the menu.

Olivia beamed. "Sold. See you there?"

"Coolio," Abby agreed.

The two best friends met up half an hour later for a delicious lunch, consisting of delightful dishes, cocktails, and good conversations.

"That's a cute bracelet," Abby pointed at Olivia's wrist.

It was the bracelet she and Fitz got in Vermont. A white, handmade, adjustable bracelet with a magnetic half-heart clasp. When they held hands, the magnetic clasps connected to form a full heart. It was cheesy and cliché but undeniably cute.

"Thanks. I got it in Vermont. Fitz and I went for a few days." Olivia smiled.

Abby grinned. "You're so in love and mushy. It's nice to witness."

Olivia blushed. "He makes me melt. It's sickening, honestly, but I don't hate it."

"Enjoy it. You deserve a good guy," Abby said solemnly.

"Thanks boob." Olivia said.

Next, they gushed about Cece's engagement ring in a way only ladies can, their excitement through the roof. Olivia told Abby that she wanted to surprise Cece with an engagement party in the Spring. They both agreed it was a fantastic idea, and Abby volunteered to help.

"By the way, how's the search for a therapist going?" Olivia asked.

"Oh, I found one," Abby informed. "I had my first two-hour session on Wednesday."

Olivia clapped excitedly. She was so glad that Abby was embarking on this journey of healing and self-care.

"How was it?"

Abby took a sip of her lychee martini. "It was intense. It left me feeling so exposed and raw. I feel like everything I thought I knew about myself was a lie. After the session, I walked home to process, and it's then that I realized I have no sense of who I am or what I want, and I self-sabotage a lot."

Abby chuckled to keep from crying. It was humbling to do this kind of work on oneself and take accountability for actions that led to one's own heartbreak.

"Silver lining, though, Dr. Elizabeth North doesn't think I'm a lost cause, and she hasn't admitted me to the place with the grippy socks and happy pills yet. So I'll be returning next week for round two of her telling me about myself."

Olivia rolled her eyes at the last comment and fought hard to stifle a laugh. Abby had a knack for making dark jokes out of anything.

"I'm so proud of you," Olivia said.

She reached across the table and entwined her fingers with Abby, giving her hands a light squeeze.

Abby offered a small smile in return. "I don't know, kid. I feel a little too rotten these days."

Olivia playfully tapped Abby's hand. "Quit feeling sorry for yourself. It's bad for your skin complexion. And besides, you already did the hard part. You're showing up for yourself. It's smooth sailing from here on out."

Abby chuckled, feeling warm and loved. "I'll drink to that." She picked up her glass and toasted with Olivia. "Thanks for the optimism, short stuff. Means a lot."

"Of course," Olivia said, meaning it wholeheartedly. "What are you doing after this?"

"Nothing," Abby answered.

Olivia squealed. "Yay! Wanna try to max out my boyfriend's credit card at Target and Sephora?"

"Do you have to ask?" Abby grinned.

Olivia flagged their waiter for the tab. She requested some desserts and an entrée of Mongolian beef to go.

When Olivia returned home after a day of shopping with Abby, it was almost 5 pm. They spent hours at Target, where she stocked up on skincare products, bought cute dresses and loungewear, picked up a few knick-knacks for the apartment, and got a bunch of snacks and some items for Fitz as well. They also visited Sephora, where she purchased new brushes and products from the Fenty makeup line. Afterward, she went to Trader Joe's to buy dinner ingredients and stock up on wine. On her way to drop Abby off at home, she stopped to pick up Fitz's dry cleaning. Abby teased her mercilessly about how domesticated she had become, but Olivia couldn't argue. She was totally smitten.

Now she was home and she practically jumped on Fitz's lap. He was sitting in the living room enjoying beer and playing video games shirtless.

"Hi boo." Olivia greeted.

She grabbed his face and kissed his mouth.

"Hi boo." He replied. "How's Abby? Did you two have fun?"

Olivia nodded. "She's good. And yes." She answered. "How was basketball?"

"It was epic!" Fitz said. "Stephen got elbowed pretty badly. He almost needed stitches above his eyebrow. It was awesome."

Olivia rolled her eyes. "Baby. That's what you call awesome?"

"Don't judge me lady." He laughed. "I'm hungry. Did you bring me food?"

Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him again a few times. "Yeah. I got you lots of stuff as a matter of fact. You gotta help me bring them up from the garage."

"Okay. Let's go." Fitz tapped her butt for her to stand up.

He threw on a sweater and slippers. Then he picked her up and tossed her over his shoulders, walking toward the elevator.

"Put me down, you big giant." She fought him. "I'm an independent woman."

"Meh-meh-meh-meh-meh."' Fitz parroted.

Olivia dissolved into laughter until she snorted. "You're an idiot." She slapped his butt.

The elevator came and he stepped in it with her, slapping her butt back. The doors closed and he pressed the button for ground level to the garage.

"Do the other side!" Olivia wiggled her butt.

Fitz laughed, slapping the other cheek. He slowly pulled her down and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he intended for her to. He looked into her gorgeous brown eyes as she blushed at him.

"I can't wait to marry you one day." Olivia said absentmindedly.

"You'll say yes?" Fitz smirked, arching an eyebrow.

"No. I'll say "Fuck Yes"." Olivia responded.

"Good to know." Fitz beamed.

She leaned in and locked their lips together as she ran her fingers through his hair. The back was starting to get longer. And she loved how curly they coiled and formed the cutest waves behind his head. But mostly, she loved the way he moaned and growled when she gently tugged or scratched his head.

They pulled away when the elevator opened to the garage. Fitz stepped out with them and stared into Olivia's eyes, bewildered.

"Don't cut your hair. I like it long." She told him before she loosened her legs around him and hopped down.

With one last peck, Fitz turned her around towards the car. "Ma'am, yes ma'am!" He whispered behind her ear.

They loaded all the groceries back inside the freight and squeezed in together for a ride back to the apartment. They worked as a team to bring them in and unpack to store away.

Olivia hopped in the shower quickly after that while Fitz popped open a bottle of wine and let it breathe as he waited on her return.

As she did that, he began to eat some of the Mongolian beef and broccoli his girlfriend brought him. He opened a cold beer and sipped while looking up a recipe for Chile con queso on google.

When Olivia returned to the kitchen freshly showered and dressed in jammies, she climbed on his back while he leaned on the counter, scrolling on his phone. His plate of food — now empty.

"Did you heat up the beef?" She asked, knowing he most likely didn't.

He shook his head, confirming her suspicions. "Didn't need to."

She made a face, a judgy one. It was one of his quirks that she didn't get yet. He tended to eat his food cold, and for reasons that blew her mind, he seemed to enjoy it.

"Papa, that's gross."

"Whatever woman." He sassed. "Get down. Let me pour you some wine. Put some music on and then we can get started on dinner together."

"You got it dude." Olivia saluted.

Fitz walked away snickering at her. She could be so weird and hilarious at times.

Olivia projected some Lil Kim through the speakers in the living room. Fitz had a moment of complete shock and admiration as Olivia rapped The Jump Off to him. This mood sustained through their evening of preparing dinner together. They sang to every song that came on, acted a fool and danced together in the open space between the counters and kitchen island. They drank wine while Fitz chopped vegetables. Olivia loaded dirty dishes into the dishwasher as they were gradually used. While she was bent at the waist, Fitz took his eyes off the sautéing vegetables for a second to thrust his hips into Olivia's butt. The opportunity was much too good to pass up.

Olivia's shoulders shook with laughter as she looked back at him. "You're incorrigible as a man." She told him.

"Fine ass." Fitz winked, leaning down to kiss her up her spine. "Look at you. Just sexy as hell for no reason."

Straightening up, he slapped both of her ass simultaneously, and then turned his attention back to the stove as if he didn't just awaken a minx in Olivia.

They mastered the art of cooking perfectly as a team. While Olivia read instructions, Fitz mixed the pot of ingredients and added new flavors, bringing the cheesy dip together in no time.

While Fitz plated things, Olivia went to rearrange their sectional into a comfy haven and brought out blankets. She then turned on the TV and found their shows. When she was seated, Fitz brought over a mini standing tray-table and placed it carefully over Olivia's lap on the couch. He then brought their water bottles filled with ice water and their glasses of wine. After he clapped the lights off and joined her.

"Looks so good!" Olivia sang and rubbed her hands together excitedly. She quickly pecked Fitz's lips before she dug in.

Fitz had loaded two types of crunchy chips on the tray. Tortilla and Fritos jalapeño corn scoops surrounded the bowl of chili cheese in the middle. Olivia picked up a Fritos scoop and dipped it in the cheesy dip.

She threw her head back at the first bite. "Oh my God." She moaned. Her tongue was dancing and she was drooling. "I think this is the best thing you've ever made for me."

Fitz laughed, thoroughly amused. "Certainly sounds like it. Did you just cum?"

Olivia rolled her eyes, blushing at his teasing. "Shut your handsome face." She chastised. "Now open your mouth and eat this." She picked up another scoop and dipped it in the chili, then brought it to his mouth.

"Mind you, you're usually telling me to do the same thing to your vagina." Fitz taunted once more.

Olivia shoved the chip in his mouth, causing him to burst out in laughter. He bit the chip and chewed happily.

"Mmm… it is pretty damn good." He agreed. "High five bestie."

"Will you make me gumbo next week?" Olivia asked.

"Sure, greedy."

Olivia high-fived him and then scooted closer to him before pressing play on some trashy yet addicting reality TV show.

The return back to normal sucked for Olivia. She had gotten used to not waking up until after 9 for a whole week. On Monday she barely made it on time. On Tuesday, she could barely keep her eyes open on the train home. On Wednesday she took a nap during lunch while her colleague covered for her. By the time Thursday rolled around, she was rushing home from work to plunge into bed after a warm shower.

Fitz on the other hand has been busy all week. Even though he was on "vacation" he was still making moves behind the scenes. One of his favorite things about having Olivia as a true partner was the way she pushed him to think bigger in every aspect of their life. His business has done very well over the last few years since opening. His gym was not your typical chain brick and mortar. He worked hard to make sure it was an inclusive space for people who wanted to live better, healthier, active lives. He made sure to employ certified workers who were there to champion his customers through whatever transformation or whatever their vision of healthy was. And for that, he's garnered really loyal customers who love to come and train with him. His margins were up compared to his competitors.

But he selfishly wanted more and Olivia inspired him greatly. There were many nights when she helped him brainstorm amazing ideas in the dark of the night. The renovation was just one of her brilliant ideas.

The second was convincing him to hire a marketing strategist. After months of interviews and trying to narrow down the perfect candidate, Fitz finally made a selection on a hire. Thinking big meant that he wanted radio ads, he wanted billboards, he wanted to partner up with sports brands like Lululemon, Fabletics, Fitbit and maybe later down the line, the bigger fishes, like Nike, Adidas, Gatorade. He wanted to expand. And if he was going to do that, he needed to surround himself with people smarter than him in those areas of development. He was a lot of things. But a marketing guru, he was not.

He was on a white board session with his new marketing consultant discussing how to build brand recognition, when Olivia came home Thursday afternoon, looking spent. He noticed she'd been more tired than usual, but he figured it was the routine kicking her ass after being on vacation for a week.

When she saw him on his call at the kitchen table, she simply blew him a kiss and tiptoed quietly to their bedroom. Fitz desperately longed to kiss her and hug her but he had a few more items to cover before he could call it quits.

Two hours later, he logged off and drank some water before he went to find her. He found her knocked out in the middle of bed under the covers.

He quietly climbed next to her and just watched her sleep for a bit. She looked so freaking beautiful to him. So delicate and precious. He leaned closer and stroked her cheek softly until he had every single cell and muscle in her face memorized. Deciding that he missed her and wanted her to wake up, he began waking her.

A normal shake and pat doesn't normally work on her. So he decided to try a different tactic.

"Babe, babe, baby, mama, baby, mama, babe, Livvie, Fireball, love of my life, babe, baby, babeee!"

He was the most annoying alarm ever. Olivia groaned in her sleep as she registered the sound of his voice in her ears followed by his tongue licking her lips, in the most annoying way.

"Olivia Carolyn Pope."

"Oh my God, shut up."

With eyes still closed, Olivia felt around blindly for his face and slapped her hand over his mouth to shut him up. Fitz started laughing, removing her hand from his mouth. Olivia heaved a deep sigh as he flipped her on her back.

"Wake up, come on!" Fitz laughed.

Olivia finally opened her eyes, annoyed, tired but cute as ever.

"What, what?" She whined as she stared at his stupid, adorable face. "What do you want from my life? I'm tired."

Fitz pouted. "But I miss you. And I'm bored! You've slept enough."

"You're very annoying." Olivia cracked a smile, pulling him closer to kiss his pouty lips.

"I learned from the best." Fitz sassed, kissing her back.

"Oooh, burn." Olivia mumbled smilingly. She pecked his lips a couple of times before pulling away. "What time is it?"

"It's after five. Wanna go out to dinner?" Fitz asked.

"Okay." Olivia answered. "I'm horny. Wanna have sex first?"

"Oh thank God." Fitz praised, closing his eyes momentarily. "I thought my balls were gonna explode."

"You're so dramatic." Olivia guffawed as she began to make quick work of his clothes before pulling him on top of her under the blanket.

She was already naked under the blanket, so it didn't take much work on her end. She pulled the covers completely over their heads, smiling as Fitz teased her neck with his lips.

"Flirt with me a little." She requested.

Fitz hummed in the crook of her neck as he inhaled her. "You always smell so fucking good." He said, his voice extra low and smooth. "I missed you all day."

This made Olivia smile. She grabbed his face and redirected his lips to hers. She caressed his ear and pulled at the curls on the back of his neck as she joined him in a deep kiss, smiling uncontrollably against his mouth.

"Yeah? What'd you miss?" She mumbled.

Fitz bit her lower lip, causing her to moan. "Tutto." He responded. "Every fucking inch of you." He dipped his head and began kissing a trail down her neck.

"What about you, you missed daddy?"

When he got to her chest, Fitz looked up and found her eyes as he cupped her breasts and gave them each a squeeze before he dipped his head to suck a nipple in his mouth. Her loud moans of approval and enjoyment echoed in the room as he sucked on her nipples. Between the sensual talk, the makeout session and his mouth on her boobs, Olivia was ready to explode. Gauging that she was wet enough for him, he slowly slid into her blissfully.

"Oh fuck." He gasped while Olivia shivered and quivered beneath him and on his dick.

Fitz started thrusting slowly into her. Building up a cadence. Olivia looked so fucking hot beneath him, lips captured between her teeth, eyes rolling in her head as she took his cock.

"Look at me." Fitz demanded softly, leaning down to lick her lips.

Olivia opened her beautiful brown eyes and her look of pure lust and euphoria mirrored back at him. It caused him to spasm into her. He kissed her again — bruisingly, lovingly and passionately.

"You didn't answer me." Fitz said. "You missed me?"

He slammed into her, pausing for her answer. Breath left her lungs and Olivia hissed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She found his lips and sucked hard on his upper lips as he continued to grind into her. "Fuck, yes. I missed you daddy."

Fitz raised one of her legs up to his forearm, creating a different angle as he was still inside her. He fell deeper into her. He rolled his hips and Olivia felt tears pool behind her eyes as her pussy started to quiver like a vice around his dick.

"Baby, it's so deep. Why are you fucking me like this?" Olivia moaned, holding onto his forearm as he alternated between pounding her pussy and rolling his hips.

"Like what?" Fitz whispered, smirking as he pushed upwardly into her. Her tits jiggled and he watched, mesmerized at how her entire body responded to him.

Olivia screamed as she started cumming on his dick. But nothing came out, his mouth against hers swallowed every sound as he choked her very lightly.

"Good girl. Fuck, you feel so good, baby girl." Fitz rasped in her ear, sucking and biting the lobe, poking his tongue in and out the hole. "Why is your pussy so good? Answer me."

Olivia mumbled incoherently. This was what a heavenly rebirth felt like. Why was this man fucking her like this? God, how did she go this long without experiencing this? She was ruined.

"Yours." She babbled. "Cause I'm yours. All yours, papa."

Fitz held her face and kissed her forehead. "Good girl."

He fucked her just like that again through two more rounds, absolutely wrecking her. He talked her through her orgasms while he made her tell him about her day.

Olivia was unintelligible through all of it, drooling, begging, twisting. And he gave. The way he fucked her surpassed intimacy and soulmateism. It borderline divinity. Olivia felt God through their lovemaking. She felt like a cloud — floating, tumbling, vanishing. His strokes remained slow and delicious until the very end necessitated a faster pace as they catapulted off the edge of their climax. Olivia massaged his scalp, dug her fingers and teeth into his skin as she pushed him deeper into her. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, his back bowing as he emptied violently into her.

"I don't think I can move."

They both laughed, completely out of breath.

"Me neither. That was so fucking amazing."

Takeout it was after all.

March was a blur. There was a change in the air - Spring was emerging and with its glow, Olivia found a pep in her step.

Between work, house hunting and trying to make time for friends and family, while simultaneously planning an engagement party, she had more than enough to keep herself distracted. Fitz on the other hand was reaching final stages of the renovation and gearing up for a new grand reopening of GetFit!

By the time April rolled around, Olivia was counting down days til the end of the school year. She spent Easter with her parents and extended family in Jersey. She celebrated Isaac's birthday and watched the children in her family do an Easter egg hunt. She watched Fitz play with Noah — tossing the baby in the air, making spit bubble noises with him, teaching him how to walk, reading books, napping with him — it made her insides flutter. It made her daydream. It made her incessantly happy.

Right after Easter celebrations, they flew directly to Paris for Spring break. They stayed for 6 days and had the romance of a lifetime. They wined and dined gluttonously on the finest foods the country had to offer. They toured all of the beauty that Paris displayed in Spring. They danced at bars, laughed at old movies and at each other, fucked in the rain, played like children and mused after each other behind the lens of a camera. It was infinite.

Once they returned home from their Parisian getaway, they slept like logs. The six hours time difference had done more of a number on them than they anticipated.

When Olivia woke up in the dead of the night, she walked sloppily to the bathroom to relieve her heavy bladder. She felt a strange, uncomfortable pressure in her cervix. As she sat on the toilet in the dark, she felt a sharp pain on the side of her left rib. She hissed as she leaned on her forearms. She felt another stab at the front of her belly. She cried out as her pain intensified. She then felt a warm sensation pass through her vagina before she felt something leaking out of her. Alarmed, she got up and turned the light on in a panic. The sharp pain caused her to bow over the sink.

"Owww!" She cried.

She swiped a finger in her vagina and when she looked at it, she saw thick, dark clots. Her eyes started to water. Her head spun as she felt another sharp pain as more thick tissues poured out of her. She burst into tears, gathering just enough strength to make it back to the bedroom. Her mind sprinted through calendars and did calculations in the time it took her to get to Fitz. Recognition and shock began to set in and she shook Fitz awake ferociously and terrified.

"Fitz, wake up, baby." She cried. "Babe, please! Something's terribly wrong."

A deafening mantra played in her ears: Please let this be a nightmare, please let this be a nightmare. Please let this be a nightmare.

Fitz stirred, confused. But he quickly sprung into action when he heard her sobs.

"Livvie, what's wrong? Why are you crying." He sat up quickly, flicking on the light.

Fitz was horrified when he saw her tear streaked face. "Mama, what's going on?"

She looked down at her legs, and his eyes followed. Sure enough there was a thick blob of blood on her thighs. His eyes bulged out as he jumped out of bed.

"I need you to take me to the hospital."
