Inaba. He had to admit, he didn't know much about the town. From what he could gather from his foster parents, it was quiet little town, where nothing happened, and everyone knew everyone. A perfect place to send him to, so that he can 'find peace'. What a load of crock that was, he was never gonna find peace. Not with Death forever following him, it was a part of his life, and something he had to accept...whether he liked it or not. In any case here he was, being sent away by the jackasses who took him in, out of the 'goodness' of their heart.

To go and live with his cousin and his family...well, his cousin and his cousins mom. Honestly, the last time he saw Kanji Tatsumi was back when they were toddlers...and to this day Minato was the only that beat Kanji in a straight up brawl...okay. It wasn't so much a brawl, as it was something hilarious. Mostly because he was stupid, and went straight at Kanji as opposed to dancing around and wearing the brute down. Yeah, he was a brute even back then. What he did took Kanji by surprise, and he ended up on his ass, and smacking his head against a seesaw.

In any case, the train journey was...uneventful. If he was honest, nothing really happened...well when he was awake anyway. A few hours into the journey, Minato found himself sound asleep...only to wake up in some kind of room. A room, that had a desk in the middle of it, a lady in blue standing beside the desk, and a long nosed man sitting at its head. The fuck was going on? "Ah. You are not the one we seek, and yet...you are tied to one that came before. My name is Igor, and I welcome you to my Velvet Room. You are currently sleeping soundly on the train, for this place exists between dream and reality, and is only accessible to those who formed some kind of contract." The long nosed man said...rather melodramatically it had to be said, before the woman in a blue...jacket? Stepped forward, and began speaking to him. "Indeed, and I am Margaret. Master Igor's assistant, and successor to my younger sister Elizabeth. Whom your brother knew quite well before his death."

That took Minato aback...they knew about his brother? About his death? Were they...tied to it? Were they responsible for it? All these questions raved through his mind, as he visibly got more and more upset...until Igor raised a hand in order to try and get Minato's attention. "I know this must come as quite a shock for you, but yes. Your brother Makoto, visited this very same room. This is where he learned of his tragic destiny, to sacrifice himself...to save the world from ruin."

Minato for the first time truly looked around the room he was in, and took in every detail...because it looked like he was in an elevator that had stopped moving. "Indeed, this very same room...is where he created the Persona needed to save the world, where he helped forge bonds that would in turn serve him in saving the world. You have this same potential...but it is being held back, held back by your grief...and your pain. This is something you will have to overcome, if you are to claim even a piece of his power. But, when the time comes...we shall assist you. But for right now, our time is at an end...and for you, the beginning of a new journey, and a marvellous mystery awaits you. But be warned, this mystery, could lead to humanity's downfall."

Before he knew it, Minato was back on the train as it pulled into the station. It was as if someone had snapped their fingers, and transported him back...but he was dreaming? Not only that, but all the other stuff those two said...they knew Makoto? They knew how he died? Minato always near his brother's death wasn't normal, but for him to be someone that saved the world? That got a wry chuckle from him. "What would you say to all this Makoto...who am I kidding? You'd just say you don't care, and get on with it." He chuckled once more to himself, grabbing his duffle bag, he proceeded to toss it over his shoulder. Before stepping off the train, and on to the station platform. The start of his journey, finally underway.
