Judai felt his shoulder being shook gently. He rubbed his eyes feeling the sleep that was there as he stirs. "Mmm… Johan..?" He peeked his eyes open. Johan smirks a little and ruffles Judai's now semi dry hair. He realized most of his clothes had dried but were stilll damp. "It took about two hours but the rain finally stopped. Cmon let's go see that grave." Johan moved him gently from his lap but helped him up as soon as he got to his feet.
Judai nods, his hands wrapped in Johan's as the blue haired male leads them outside, Judai's sore ankle having healed up enough for him to walk with ease. A few more steps away from the Moseleum where they hid in and they soon stood in front of the grave they were looking for. Judai looked down at the grave his eyes now swimming in tears as he dropped to his knees still holding Johan's hand for support.
"I'm so sorry… Mother I'm so sorry for everything…" His tears fell heavily down his face. Johan gave his hand a tender squeeze but remained silent. Judai sobbed continuously as his words became more broken. "I-I didn't believe father when he said you were dead… I-It's just been so long... Since I've seen any light, being trapped in the dark smothered by it… It's so horrible, mother..!" His sobs wracked his body so hard he lost his balance on his knees and leaned into Johan who got down next to him just to hold him steady.
Johan gently grabs Judai around his back and hand that he still held to steady the brunette from falling over. "Hey, Judai it's ok.." He leaned him towards his shoulder which Judai promptly sobbed into as he gently patted his brown locks. "You don't understand Johan…" Judai sobbed more his crying making him unable to see that the shadows were growing and were trying to reach towards him again.
"I remember everything… It was me who killed my mother! Me! The Supreme King! I'm a horrible human being..!" He pushed away from Johan and got to his feet in seconds, but Johan was no slouch as he grasped Judai's hand as he got to his feet. "Your not horrible! The powers of the Supreme King made you do all those horrible things…!" Johan's green eyes shined bright with a fierce defiance against his words.
"I don't care that you are the Supreme King! Your just a victim just like the rest of us in these circumstances… You didn't choose to do all those things…" Johan's voice was full of an urgency that the brunette has never heard come from him before. It was almost like he was pleading with him to listen to the truth behind his words.
Judai's eyes widen at his expression. He felt a warmth bloom in his chest as he choked on his words and his sob was stuck in throat. "You… don't care..?" Johan pressed closer to him his green eyes full of sincerity as his grip loosened a bit on Judai, turning into a comforting one.
"No, I don't… It's horrible you've had to go through it all alone.. and I promise I won't let the shadows take you again..!" Judai's tears fell harder as he blushed looking at Johan. Something in his heart wanted to burst. He touched Johan's face with his hands, cupping his face gently as he pressed his lips to his in an almost brief passing of a kiss.
The kiss was like a feather touch to the two of them leaving them both a semi blushing mess. The shadows nearby grew denser and the whispering was louder in Judai's ears as he covered his ears recoiling away from them as Johan held him to his chest. "They're angry again…! We need to flee!" Judai's panic reigned clear as he grasped Johan's hand firmly in his as he took off running towards the gates of the cemetery.
Johan keeping great pace with Judai despite the brunette's grasp on his hand, looked behind them as the shadows were engulfing everything as they chased them. "They're gaining on us!" Judai gasps heavily as he runs pulling him along. "I can hear them..! T-they want me again…" Johan glancing behind them at the wave of shadows trying to claw after the two of them. "Shit..! Gotta think fast!" Johan stammered out as he yanks Judai into his arms the brunette crying out with surprise.
"Johan??" He was flabbergasted by Johan's approach as Johan himself just kept running, his speed outmatching what Judai was doing. "I'm gonna roll us down the hill!" The hill was the first thing they climbed when they entered the cemetery most of the graves were built on slopes but most of the terrain flatted out to make way for more graves and the moseleum. "Okay!" Judai gripped onto Johan tightly as the duo reached the hill, Johan intentionally rolling forward as the two rolled down the hill, Johan's body engulfing Judai's as the two ended up rolling so fast down the hill, they rolled right out of the cemetery.
Judai layed in a heap under Johan as the two quickly got to their feet. "What in the blazing hells of fire is going on here??" Manjoume was standing over them just as the two got to their feet exasperated. "The shadows…! They were chasing us!" Judai was quick to speak up knowing fully well they might not believe him.
"Wait, are you serious?" Manjoume looked uncomfortable as his gaze went to the cemetery which was now covered in a dark haze than it was earlier. Johan looked in the same direction and ruffled the back of his hair. "Looks like they can't get out of there until nightfall…" Judai nodded slightly relieved by his words as his arm touched the bluenette's mostly out of nerves but also an emotional response.
Manjoume turned his eyes back to the two of them and patted their shoulders. "Alright let's get you both out of here…" Judai looking confused at Manjoume spoke up. "Wait, you believe me??" The male sighed before crossing his arms. "I do but not for the reason you think. Your father explained the curse to us."
Johan and Judai look confused. "A curse?" Manjoume ushered the two away from the cemetery as the mid day sun shined down on them making the shadows retreat even from the cemetery. "I'll explain over lunch now cmon. Everyone's been worried about you two." His words didn't sound pleasant but Judai knew that the black haired male cared about their well-being enough to come and get them.
"Sounds great! I'm starved!" Judai cheered wrapping an arm around both Johan and Manjoume who cried out in annoyance at his lighthearted nature.
