Aura and Mare opened their eyes in an unknown room, their tiny hands clutching a purple robe of a sleeping unknown Dark elf man, just like the one their Master had once worn. Which confused the children as to why they were clutching the robes of this unknown man, until the memory of how they met their master on their floor while they waited for the meeting called by the guardian overseer.
They remember how they had lunged on to their lord while bawling their eyes out and how their lord had comforted them to sleep, which now on pondering felt like it was all a wishful dream, but it still did not explain why they were in an unknown room, asleep while clutching the robe of this unknown kinsman of theirs.
The children glanced at each other and nodded and proceeded to release their hold on the robe and quietly removed themselves from the bed after which they planned to contact the guardian overseer remembering how there was a meeting they might have missed and ask who this man was since they knew the room was undoubtedly inside the guild base based on the décor and architecture.
But their movement had caused the sleeping man to stir who slowly opened his ruby eyes and quickly stiffen seeing the children. Which caused the children to stare at the now awake man curiously as their eyes met.
Meanwhile Suzuki who had just woken up from one of his most pleasant sleep, due to the sudden disturbance he felt on his bed which led to him opening his eye to see he was in an unknown room with a pair of elf children in front of him, until he remembered the event that transpired.
He had been transferred into his game avatar, how he was now called Momonga, how he had to calm down the children and how he changed his form with the item he had his creation bring from the treasury so he could sleep and provide physical comfort to the two sleeping children which his skeletal body could not.
Unlike before he was no longer a skeleton but a slim dark elf man with typical brown skin, Silky blond hair and pointy ears, just like the twins, with androgynous facial features with his ruby red eyes just like the red orbs his skeletal, form still dressed in his purple scholar robe.
"How are you feeling Aura and Mare?" asked the once skeletal overlord confusing the children he addressed.
There was a moment of silence as they stared at each other, until the outgoing of the two children broke the silence with a question.
"Who are you mister? I have never seen or heard of you in the tomb and why are you wearing the same robe as Lord Momonga?" Aura's voice curious and confused which got a nod from her brother who was too shy to speak up While still curious why the man dressed like their master.
"It is me Momonga, I changed my appearance with an item." replied Momonga showing an emerald inlaid silver ring in his index finger, shocking the guardians.
The ring was called the ring of polymorph which enabled the wielder to change race in YGGDRASIL like the race Doppelganger, the very same item used by Nishikiren in his Infiltration mission, while the transformation was appearance only in the game in the new world, he noticed he could feel just like his old human body.
Shocked Aura managed mumbled out "are you really lord Momonga?" with her brother to shocked to speak just looking on with hopeful eyes.
Momonga unequipped the ring which changed him back to his skeletal form which was followed by the children launching themselves on him again, but this time there was no crying and Momonga had returned the hug to the children back.
"Do not worry children I am not going anywhere; I am here for real." spoke the overlord his voice soft and soothing as he pets the children's head.
"y-you promise?" spoke the effeminate boy his eye glistening slightly on the brink of crying mirrored by his sister.
"Yes, I promise my dear child, I swear it in my name." promised the GuildMaster as he put his ring back on and transformed into his elven form.
"So how are you two feeling now, I was shocked you two cried yourself to sleep." asking in a gentle voice, still concerned about last night's event.
"I feel alright I was just sad when you came to our floor and told us about the end of the world and how you would not be with us in the next world, we thought we would not see you again like Lady Bukubukuchagama." said Aura while Mare nodded.
'I never expected them to gain sentience, but my farewell must have really caused them to despair.' Momonga thought regretting how he caused the children to suffer such grief with his action.
He quickly sat up with the children still hugging him and he spoke "I apologize children for causing you such grief." in a sorrow filled voice.
"No need to apologise my lord we knew you did everything in your power to stay with us." spoke Aura with Mare nodding in agreement knowing their almighty master who was the only one not to abandon the tomb would use all the power in his disposal to save the guild base not knowing Momonga's true identity as a simple human in the real world.
Momonga nodded remembering how he held his eye shut in the final moment wishing to prolong the game a little longer feeling powerless.
"Hmm y-yes, Aura I am here now you do not need to worry about me going anywhere." spoke Momonga assuring the children as he took out the special comb and started stroking the children's hair gently starting with Aura.
The children were shocked at first when the lord had taken out the comb but quickly changed into happiness.
Aura as the first one to have her hair worked on by their skeletal master was happy while her brother was looking jealously at her but decided not to sound his thoughts as the last two times, he was the first to be combed.
Once done with Aura's hair Momonga turned his attention to Mare and as he was combing Mare's hair the little boy asked a question which had shocked the overlord stiff for a moment.
"L-l-lord Momoga c-can I call you p-papa when you comb our hair like how lady Bukubukuchagama used to?" stuttering meekly as he asked the question.
Momonga was a single man in the real world with no lover and no relative except his late mother, was shocked at first but was reminded how the children had called him father in their sleep and how he felt an attachment to the two children.
"I would love if the two of you would call me your father." spoke the overlord as he pulled the two into a hug again.
The children were shocked to see their request accepted so readily by their lord and as they relished in the hug from their newly adopted father, they suddenly felt some liquid hit their face, curiously they gazed upwards to find out the source of the moistness.
What they saw shocked the children to their core as they saw the moist liquid was none other than tears streaming down their master's eyes as he had a happy smile on his elven face.
The children were shocked but quickly realized their master had really accepted them as his children and not just humouring their request on a whim which led to the children joining their father in shedding tears.
The parent and child spent a few minutes embracing each other after which Aura was reminded about the meeting Albedo had called for and asked.
"Dad, what happened in the meeting called by Albedo?" asked Aura while Mare nodded both not knowing the meeting was postponed till, they were in better health.
Momonga too reminded of the meeting spoke "I had the meeting postponed till you two were in better health and since now you are better; I suppose I need to have the meeting called again." which got a nod from the twin guardian returning to their guardian mode.
Seeing the children agree he decided to message Albedo and called the meeting again this time in the throne room.
"The meeting will be held in one hour from now. We can relax till then." announced the new father until the sound of three stomach rumbling was heard causing the father and daughter to chuckle while the timid son to blush.
"I really forgot we had not had anything to eat since last night." the lord spoke with a chuckle as he rang a bell on bed side table which called in a maid.
They ordered a plethora of food excited to fill their empty stomach. Momonga was especially excited to taste the cuisine from the game he always wanted to taste in real life which he could now eat in his elven form.
With the food on the way the father and children decided to get off the bed and sat on the sofa waiting for their food to be delivered to them.
After some time had passed there was a knock on the door of the chamber followed by the Homunculus maids bringing in a vast amount of food and arranged the food in front of the children and the adult dark elf.
Without further ado the parent and children dug into the food after a quick 'Itadakimasu'
The food was the most delicious food he ever had in his life, he ate all the food served along his two children and to his shock the little girly boy ate the same amount of food he did as a grown man while Aura was not far behind either, which he later chalked up to them being growing children.
Once done with their food they headed to the throne room for the meeting.
/Throne Room/
The GuildMaster and his newly adopted children arrived at the throne room with Albedo already present as it was her assigned post who looked confused at the arrival of Momonga in his elven form in company of the two guardians at first , but quickly presumed the elven man was their master as he was still garbed in the overlord's favoured purple scholar robes and the two guardian who were previously seen clutching the robes of their master were happily escorting the elven man.
"I see you have taken a new form my lord." spoke the overseer pointing out the lord's change in appearance.
"Yes, I took this form as the undead form was limiting me in taking care of my children." replied the elven man not mentioning how his new form had also let him partake in the luxury of Nazarick.
The statement had the NPCs present realize how much their lord had cared for them and how he would change his very being just to take care of the children.
"Albedo, I believe Sebas reported his findings to you last night, please give me a brief account of his findings." spoke the lord as he took his throne and took the children in his lap, shocking Albedo at the show of affection to the children.
The children now accustomed to the show of care just got comfortable in his lap. Once Albedo got over her shock, she summarized Seba's findings.
The entrance of the tomb was in a grassy plain which was surrounded by a sea of forest for miles but there were also reports of seeing smoke rising in a far distance which indicated there were Intelligent life who were using fire, or it could simply be a naturally occurring forest fire which was not verified because it was out of the 10 km radius of the scouting mission.
As the report ended the first guardian arrived, who was the guardian of the first three floor, Shalltear Bloodfallen, a petite pale girl in a purple frilly dress in a gothic design, with silver hair and red eyes with a pointy fang jutting out of her lips, which hinted at her vampiric nature, strutting in like a noble woman.
As Shalltear approached the throne she noticed an elven man sitting on the throne with the guardians of the sixth floor on his lap looking content and Albedo just standing beside the throne like it was a normal situation which irked her, not recognizing the man but he was sat on her master's throne, which she would not stand for!
"Albedo! who is this man sitting on the throne of the supreme being!? Why are you, Aura and Mare not doing anything while he sits where once our great Lord Momonga once sat." question Shalltear angrily how they would allow this unknown man to sit on the throne unopposed.
Before Albedo could reprimand the vampiric guardian, the young girl sat on the master's lap responded by "I see you are truly just a brute Shalltear, you do not even recognize our master even when he sits at his own throne! You would have noticed our lord's clothes are not changed even though his physical appearance has changed if you were not spending all your time stuffing your fake boobs with paddings." which caused Shalltear to recognize the man's garb, but soon she remembered how her master bid her Farewell last night.
"He may have the same clothes as our lord, but he cannot be him because I remember his words from last night." spoke shalltear still unconvinced as she prepared to fight as she transformed into her red battle armour form.
Seeing Shalltear's preparing for battle Albedo also Equipped her own black armour and Equipped her axe while the children also got off Momonga's lap and took a ready stance prepared to protect their master from any threats.
Momonga seeing the guardians prepare for battle quickly Spoke "Hold it, everyone, it is truly me, Shalltear." as he removed his ring of polymorph which reverted him back to his skeletal form, but it did little to quail the tension in the room.
"You cannot fool me so easily I know of how dapplegangers can shape-shift! You do not even have the aura our lord exuded but you proclaim to be him!" still unconvinced of the elf who now looked similar to her lord but a pale imitation as he lacked the aura of oppression and the memory of how the overlord spoke to her last night still cemented in her mind.
With her mind made the vampiric guardian lunged at the imposter until an oppressive aura of despair had drowned the entire room, the once well-lit room now dimmed as if the very light was being consumed by the shadowy aura surrounding the Skeleton forming a halo of darkness over his head.
Shalltear came to a quick halt when she felt the aura realizing she had blundered of the highest degree by raising her arms against the very being she was created to serve and protect.
She fell to her knees with tears streaming down her eye now no longer doubting the identity of the lord stood before her.
Seeing the vampiric guardian pacified Momonga relaxed and turned off his despair aura skill causing the oppressive aura that once filled the room to dissipate, which caused the room to return to the previous ambience.
Although Shalltear was pacified Albedo was still at a ready stance along with the children, but Momonga could see the sweat on their face from the oppressive aura they had experienced from his skill.
"Are your doubts cleared now, Shalltear?" asked Momonga in a steady tone already knowing Shalltear would not attack him.
"Y-y-yes, My Lord and I offer my life for my blunder." mutter the vampiric guardian as she bowed her head.
Hearing her offer her life Albedo brandished her axe ready to lop off the offered head. But was interrupted by Momonga who raised his hand stopping the guardian overseer from decapitating Shalltear's head.
"No, Shalltear, I too find myself at fault for not informing the other guardians of my presence." announced Momonga absolving Shalltear of her crime.
"No, what I have done is unforgiveable, so I request to be slain." begged Shalltear still Knelt.
Momonga now seeing the blind devotion made him feel like a cult leader who had members ready to do anything to please him.
Just as he was about to speak two more guardian entered the halls. Cocytus guardian of the fifth floor and Demiurge of the seventh.
Cocytus was a giant blue insectoid warrior with four arms and chilly breath escaping his mouth which was an insectoid mandible, Spreading the aura of frost emanating from his very being
While Demiurge was a humanoid man in a sharp orange suit which could pass him as a man if not for his tail. His eyes were hidden by a pair of pince-nez style glasses with an aura of menace.
They were befuddled by the scene before them with Shalltear on her knees fully armed just like Albedo and the twin guardian of the sixth floor at a ready stance. But decided to let the scene play out not knowing what caused the tense atmosphere
"Shalltear, I forgive your blunder and your life is mine to take not yours to offer, so stand up, we have a meeting to hold with important information of the world we were transferred too. Now come guardians." announced Momonga his voice loud with no room for argument.
The guardians hearing their master's command swiftly gathered at the base of the throne kneeling like knights would kneel before their king awaiting their liege's command.
Seeing all the guardians knelt Momonga Paused as he felt a sense of unease, not used to the reverence bestowed upon him by the guardians even by his adopted children.
"Where is Pandora's Actor?" Pondered the overlord not seeing his creation in the group until the yellow garbed man appeared saluting the master and once reaching the kneeling guardians promptly joined the group.
"Floor guardians let me introduce you to my creation, Pandora's Actor, the treasury guardian. He shall be joining us from now on." Momonga introduced his creation to the guardians' present knowing only the overseer being privy of his own NPC.
"Guten Tag! meine lieben Freunde! It is really good to finally meet you all." declared the yellow garbed man after he was introduced by his creator in a bombastic voice causing the skeletal master to mentaly facepalm.
"Pandora let us leave the greeting for a later date, we have some important information to discuss." which got a number of nods from the guardians after which he continued, "It seems we are transported into a new world last night the world outside is no longer the swamp of Niflheim but a thick forest." announced the overlord shocking all the guardians except the overseer.
"I had Sebas Tian and Solution Epsilon scout the area surrounding the tomb and they reported they observed smoke rising at a distance which could indicate there may be intelligent creatures living nearby." said Momonga as he informed the guardians of the scout's finding.
"I plan to scry the area where the smoke was detected personally while Demiurge and Albedo, you shall bolster our defences in case of any hostile creature try to invade our tomb." ordered Momonga which got him nods of acknowledgements from the mentioned guardians.
"That would be all, we will discuss further steps once we determine how the new world operates." declared the overlord and continued "I would appreciate any input you have with my plans if not we can end this meeting." spoke Momonga expecting the guardians to have valuable inputs to his proposal of observing the new world.
Demiurge spoke first saying "Your Plan is impeccable my lord Albedo and I shall bolster our defence at once" which got a nod from Albedo.
Momonga seeing the other guardians not having anything else to add decided to end the meeting and spoke "Very well let us conclude this meeting then if there is no other matter you wish to discuss."
This is when Shalltear Spoke "My lord, I would like to be punished for my blunder from earlier." still not satisfied with the lord simply forgiving her for her treasonous action earlier which got her stares from the guardians not present during the confrontation while the guardians present during the event nodding.
'Damn.. What do i do now. 'Thought Momonga not knowing what to do in this situation 'It does not feel right to punish her for such a fluke which I was the cause of.' but he quickly decided to deal with it at a later date.
"Shalltear, I have already forgiven you, but I shall bestow your punishment at a later date." declared Momonga hoping Shalltear would forget about it later.
"If that is all I call this meeting to an end." declared Momonga as he stood up ready to leave the hall.
"My lord before you depart, we the guardians would like to swear our loyalty to you." Declared the guardian overseer Shocking the overlord stunned.
Seeing their lord stood still the guardians took it as approval and swore their loyalty to him one after another.
"I, Cocytus, Floor Guardian of the fifth floor swear my undying loyalty to the Supreme being, Lord Momonga, till I perish, or he no longer needs my service." Swore Cocytus first from his kneeling position.
"I, Aura Bella Fiora, Floor guardians of the sixth floor swear my undying loyalty to you Lord Momonga." Swore Aura followed by her brother "I, Mare Bello Fiore, F-floor G-guardian of the s-sixth floor swear my undying loyalty to you Lord Momonga" only stuttering a little.
"I, Demiurge, Floor Guardian of the seventh floor swear my undying loyalty to you Lord Momonga." Swore Demiurge.
"I, Albedo, Guardian overseer of the great tomb of Nazarick swear my Loyalty to our merciful lord." Swore Albedo.
"I, Pandora's Actor, Treasury Guardian Swear my loyalty to Mein Gott!" declared Pandora's actor.
Momonga Seeing all the other guardian's swear loyalty to him was shocked but he noticed Shalltear was silent throughout all the ceremony. Which did not go unnoticed by the guardian's either, causing them to look at the vampiric guardian with confusion.
Albedo seeing this as an offence decided to ask " Shalltear, do you not swear to serve our lord." asking the question in everyone's mind.
Shalltear seeing she was the centre of attention spoke "After the treasonous blunder what worth would my loyalty be to the supreme being." her voice low with grief and shame.
"So, you do not swear your loyalty to the supreme being guardian of the first three floor?" asked Albedo in a agitated voice.
"I raised my weapons against a supreme being what worth would my loyalty be when i could not even recognized my lord while he sat in front of me." replied Shalltear.
Seeing the situation Momonga Decided to nip the problem at the bud before it spiralled out of control.
"Shalltear Bloodfallen, Floor guardian of the first three floors swear your loyalty to me now and start your journey of redemption in my service as you serve me." declared the overlord in an authoritative voice.
Hearing the Guild master's command all the guardians looked at him while the Vampiric guardian simply burst into tears seeing how her merciful master still valued her loyalty even after her treasonous action.
With her mind made to redeem herself she Spoke "I, Shalltear Bloodfallen, Floor Guardian of the first three floor of the great tomb of Nazarick swear my loyalty to the supreme being and swear to grind myself to dust to redeem myself from my treasonous actions." swearing her loyalty and also promising to redeem herself from her action of raising her weapon against her master.
"Yes, Shalltear you are already forgiven, and you shall be redeemed while you serve me. That will be all, my guardians, I shall be in my private office while scrying the surrounding area, notify me of any unexpected events via [Message], I Shall share my finding Once I have enough information." declared Momonga as he teleported away.
Once the lord was gone all the guardians stood up and discussed what their next step would be among themselves.
Pandora's Actor Curiously inquired "Mein Fraukein, Albedo, what treasonous act did Shalltear commit for which mein Gott had to forgive her for?" curious of the event that occurred before he entered the throne room.
Demiurge and Cocytus too were curious as they looked at the guardian overseer expecting her to satiate their curiosity.
Albedo seeing the guardians' curiosity looked at Shalltear non-verbally asking if she should disclose the vampiric guardian's actions to the other guardians.
Shalltear noticing Albedo's gaze nodded giving the overseer the go ahead to disclose her grievous blunder not wanting to hide her mistake.
Albedo seeing the nod from Shalltear told the guardians who were not present during the event what occurred.
After hearing of the event, the guardians had various reaction, but none were hostile towards Shalltear.
Demiurge was shocked to hear how a floor guardian would raise their weapons against the very beings they were created to serve but understood once he heard how the lord was in a different form knowing the headstrong nature of the vampiric guardian.
Cocytus too was shocked but did not ponder on it further as the lord had already forgiven Shalltear and who was he to judge one who their lord had already absolved of their crime.
Pandora was shocked too but he too was not inclined to hold a grudge against the vampiric floor guardian as he knew she was not the sharpest tool in the shed when it came to observing the nuance of her surroundings. She was more of a blunt instrument to be pointed at an obstacle to pulverized instead of precise tool used for strategically dismantling an obstacle.
Although understanding the situation asked, "why did you attack even when Albedo, Aura and Mare vouched for the lord's identity Shalltear?" confused why the vampiric guardian did not stand down when the overseer and the sixth-floor guardians vouched for the lord's identity
Shalltear looked Down and remembered how their lord spoke to her last night.
/Flashback/
Shalltear was in her usual patrol route which she took ever since she was created by her creator Lord Peroroncino, ever ready to deal with any intruder like she did with the hundred intruders she recently killed or at least thin the invaders like in the 1500 player raid before she was killed.
She was hopping maybe if she defended the floor like she was created to do one day her creator would return and praise her like he used to and then she could ask her lord why he had abandoned her, was it because she failed to stop the grand raid by the enemies or was she just no longer loved by her creator.
Shalltear's pondering was interrupted when she noticed a Silhouette approach her who she recognized as lord Momonga the best friend of her creator and the GuildMaster of the great tomb of Nazarick.
She watched as the Skeletal overlord walked up to her and stop her.
Momonga had approached Shalltear the creation of his best friend who made her to be his ideal Waifu, which he still questioned due to her petit figure.
He knew his best friend was a perverse fellow and he had no doubt Peroroncino made his creation to embody all his fetishes, but he would not judge, ...too much.
Now that he looked at the NPC he saw she really was a real beauty but looked a little too young for him to feel any desire for her maybe if she looked a little older and not like a jailbait.
But now as he stands Infront of her, he remembered how his friend had poured his heart and soul to create her, how he min-maxed her to be the perfect vanguard to act as self-sustaining frontliner and how she was the first barrier of defence to the grand invasion of their guild-base.
He saw how his best friend has cheered his creation as she held her own against the enormous enemy forces and how he was enraged at how they could kill his perfect waifu, although he was satisfied to see her clear a huge chunk of the invading vanguards by herself sustaining herself with the help of her vampiric skills, and how he was happy when they revived her after the invasion was thwarted.
Now it was all a memory of an event that was long past, and his friend was no longer in the game and only his creation remains a reminder of their glory days.
Momonga seeing the guardian was much shorter knelt on one knee to be in same eye level as her and spoke "Shalltear, creation of my dearest friend, I fear I bear bad news, the world we know is coming to an end and i fear i will not be able to stop it and neither will I be able to accompany you or the tomb into the next world, I hope that after this world ends, you will still protect the tomb like you did during the grand invasion and the recent hundred player raid. I Know Peroroncino created you to be the perfect self-sustaining vanguard who was very proud of your action during grand invasion. Once i am no longer in this world guard our home as i know you will." his voice somber as he knew the server shut-down drew closer.
He then got off his knee and petted the vampire's head and moved on to the next floor.
Behind him unknown to him Shalltear face morphed into a sobbing miss which quickly glitched back to her usual neutral face.

"Last night Lord Momonga spoke to me saying the world was coming to an end and he would not be coming with us even if he wished and how he could do nothing about it, hearing him saying it with such finality i had lost hope of ever seeing our lord again and had thought the lord sat on the throne was an imposter who took the opportunity in his absence to take over the Tomb." answered Shalltear Shocking the guardians as she continued "He also did not have his immense aura when he reverted back to his undead form so I determined it was a weak doppleganger who took the form of out lord."
Albedo, Pandora's actor and Demiurge were shocked at the acute observation of the vampiric guardian who they always thought was head strong individual, but they decided to rethink how they saw the guardian of the first three floors.
Mare seeing Shalltear in such as downcast mood spoke "S-s-shalltear even we did not r-recognize our lord when we first saw his other form at f-first when we woke up in his bed." trying to comfort Shalltear but this statement had caused all the other guardians to be shocked except Albedo and Aura.
"Why were you sleeping in lord Momonga's bed?" Asked Demiurge shocked to hear the little boy slept in the same bed as their lord.
This led to the Albedo to explain the situation to the floor guardian why the meeting last night was postponed and how the floor guardians of the sixth floor were reacted on seeing their lord.
This revelation made the guardians view their new master in a new light not just as a mighty leader but also a merciful master as well.
"Mein Vater is truly a merciful Gott!" Spoke the yellow garbed Man getting many nods from the guardians in agreement.
"Yes, indeed Lord Momonga has been very gracious to me and my sisters as well." Spoke Albedo remembering the generosity of their master on her sisters and her.
"Y-yes, he even let us c-call him f-f-father as well." spoke Mare Shocking all the other guardians present except Aura.
The guardians were shocked into silence.
"Mein kleiner Bruder und kleine Schwester!/ My little brother and little sister!" exclaimed Pandora's Actor loudly as he scoped the two young guardians of the sixth floor and lifted them up and started spinning around while laughing.
"HEY! LET ME DOWN!" screamed Aura who was startled with the sudden action of the treasury guardian which fell to deaf ears as she was spun around.
"AHHHH!" Screamed Mare not faring any better than his sister but unlike his sister he simply screamed unable to protest as he was too busy holding down his skirt.
"Ich bin ein älterer Bruder!/ I am an older brother!" exclaimed the Pandora's Actor loudly as he continued spinning the twins.
Pandora's Actor antics was carried out for a few more minutes much to the amusement of all the other guardian even Shalltear who now was in a better mood seeing Aura scream while the treasury guardian spun around with the children in his arms.
After a while Pandora's Actor had to let the children free from his grasp after Mare eyes had become moist at the verge of tears which lead to the yellow garbed man to slow down and put the children down.
Once put on the ground the twin quickly ran behind a giggling Albedo afraid, they would be spun around again.
Once things calmed down Demiurge cleared his throat while sprouting an amused smirk beside him Cocytus Mandibles were clicking in an amused fashion while Shalltear was chuckling slightly.
"Well as amusing as it was, I think we should discuss bolstering our defences Albedo." spoke Demiurge getting to stop giggling and turn serious.
"Yes, let us discuss it in further detail my office." spoke Albedo as she led the arch devil to her office.
"I too shall be returning to my Floor." spoke Cocytus as he left.
Leaving Shalltear, the twins and the yellow garbed guardian alone, much to the twins' dismay.
Shalltear now in a better mood spoke "I want to see Aura scream again so I will stick around for a while." which got her pointed look from Aura.
"W-w-well Pandora-a-anii-san if we are your b-brother and s-s-sister would that not m-make Shalltear your c-cousin as our creators were s-siblings." Spoke Mare which caused Aura eye to glint with anticipation wanting Shalltear to be spun around like they were, happy her brother had shifted the target off their back and onto Shalltear.
The amused look on Shalltear dropped quickly as Mare spoke and soon Pandora's Actor Stocked up to the vampiric guardian slowly.
"kleiner Cousine!/ little cousin!" shouted Pandora's Actor as he tried to grab Shalltear who ran seeing the tall man approach her.
Not one to be denied his theatrics Pandora's Actor gave chase while shouting "kleiner Cousine give älterer Cousin a hug!" while hot on Shalltear's tail.
Aura was happy she was not the target this time and quickly gave chase to the two fleeing guardians with her brother just behind her.
Later Momonga would receive report of the chaos his son had caused while chasing after the vampiric guardian and he would have to tell Pandora to tone down his eccentricities.
/Albedo's office/
The pair of guardians arrived in Albedo's office that looked similar to Momonga's own office with minor difference due to it being new and Albedo not having the time to decorate it with her personal effects.
Albedo and Demiurge sat themselves on the sofa facing each other as they exchanged ideas and strategies to increase the defence of the tomb, over a cup of tea, which went on for hours which was only once interrupted by the sound of a screaming vampire being chased by a Doppleganger followed by a pair of elf children much to their amusement.
After the discussion concluded the arch devil got up to take his leave until a sudden thought struck him as which caused him to freeze mid step which was noticed by Albedo.
"Is there something we overlooked in our discussion demiurge?" asked the Overseer seeing the arch devil stiffen.
"It seems in all the chaos I failed to notice our lord seems to be take a living form now." Spoke Demiurge amused as he continued "I would hope our lord finds a perfect partner for himself soon it would be delightful to serve his heir in the future, I would bet Cocytus would be very happy to train the heir of a supreme being." as he continued to the door while chuckling to himself.
The arch devil's sudden statement had frozen Albedo in place as she repeated the words spoken by the devil in her mind.
How could she overlook this now that their lord had flesh and blood, he could bear an heir to the tomb.
But who would be given the honour of bearing the child of a supreme being, but her train of thought was stopped when a knock on her office door was heard followed by Rubedo barging in inviting her to a tea party later in the day.
/Momonga's Office/
The skeletal overlord sat on the sofa inside his office no clear of all the wood splinters from his experiment last night, as he was fiddling around with a viewing mirror which was used for scouting in the game trying to figure out how to operate it without the help of the gaming interface.
He soon was able to get a hang of the controls after a while after which he started looking around the new world, he was shocked to see the forest he had only ever read in books from his world.
The forest looked like a sea of green with waves forming when the trees were swayed by the wind, a sight that he knew would bring tears to one of his old guildmate's eyes if he were here to see it with his own eyes.
Momonga soon started to search the area Sebas had reported where he saw smoke rising and looked for any signs of life, he was at it for a few minutes, until he noticed he was in his undead form as he forgot to put his ring of polymorph back on after he took it off when he pacified Shalltear, he decided he ought to have the denizen of Nazarick get accustomed to his new form unless he wanted another confrontation like he had in the throne room.
He quickly equipped the ring and called for the head butler to bring him some refreshment he could enjoy as he surveyed for any signs of life near the tomb.
Sebas had arrived after a while entering the chamber with tea and refreshment for his master, he was amazed to see a dark elf man sat on the sofa.
"Lord Momonga is that you?" asked the head butler recognizing the purple robe but not the individual wearing it, but he had an inkling it was his master in a new form.
"Yes, Sebas it is I; I hope I can get the rest of Nazarick get accustomed to this form soon thus I will be in this form most of the time from now on." spoke the now elven overlord declaring his objective for being in his new form.
Sebas Nodded to his master's words and stood behind the GuildMaster after he had the tea and food placed on the table.
Now with tea and snacks Momonga continued his search for life in the new world and he soon came across a cloud of black smoke rising in a distance he thought with smoke rising.
Momonga quickly went to the source of the smoke and what he found shocked him.
The source of smoke was a village that was getting burnt by fire while the villagers who looked like regular human were being massacred by other men in metal armour.
He saw the armoured men plunge their weapons into the villager indiscriminately not caring if it was man, woman or children. The ground of the village was dyed red with blood of the villagers.
Momonga was shocked at the brutality displayed before him, he felt his gut churn at the horrid display of the senseless murders until his attention was grabbed by a scene that played before him a man close to his age being dragged out of a hut followed by a woman of the same age and two young girls one in her late teens and another who barely looked ten years old.
The man dragged out was held down while other armoured man advanced towards the woman and girls with weapons drawn until the man broke out of the grasps of his captors and charged at the men approaching the women.
The older woman who he presumed was the mother seeing the man charge turned to the children and said something to them with a reassuring smile, which Suzuki was very familiar with as he had seen the same smile adorn his mother before she succumbed to fatigue, after which the older girl took the younger girl's hand and ran off as their mother too threw herself at the armed men without a hint of fear but with determined eyes hoping to buy time for her children to get a head start.
Momonga was stunned seeing the scene play out before him unsure what to do as he had no idea what the level the outside world was, but any further thoughts were put on hold when he heard squeezing sound behind him.
He turned his head to see Sebas was clenching his fists tightly seeing the atrocity displayed on the viewing mirror his face still neutral, but Momonga could feel burning anger bubbling beneath the calm demeanour of the head butler.
Sebas Tian the Head butler as he recalls was the creation of TouchMe a self-proclaimed warrior of justice who helped anyone who was being bullied in YGGDRASIL, be it Heteromorph, demi-human or even human he would always fly to fight for those who were in trouble even when the odds were against him.
'TouchMe you always told us," Saving someone who is in trouble is commonsense!" was always your motto that is how we met and how we formed this guild to protest the unfair treatment of hetromorph players right?' thought Momonga as he reminisced about his friend as he watched the creation of the said friend.
"TouchMe, I shall repay my debts to you today as I carry your ideals in this world" Swore the overlord aloud as he stood up shocking the head butler.
"Sebas Tian these injustices shall not stand prepare yourself to confront these delinquents, message Albedo to have Shalltear join us fully armed." declared Momonga, as he saw the girls being chased by the armoured men, getting a nod from the butler.
"Join me once Shalltear arrives I Shall go ahead." spoke Momonga as he Opened a [Gate] and stepped through it.
