Hello everyone,

As you have likely noticed, this website has been experiencing technical issues for several weeks, and there doesn't appear to be a resolution any soon… I am not receiving alert emails, and the story statistics consistently display zero visitors and views. Furthermore, while I was searching for updates on the FFnet subreddit, I stumbled upon a post in which someone says they are archiving all the fanfictions from FFnet on their own initiative and, as far as I can gather, upload them to another website they are developing.

Of course, I am aware that I do not possess the rights to Harry Potter and posted this story on a free-access website…. However, I chose FFnet for reasons and have invested an exhausting amount of time and energy into writing this story, time I could have used for other things sometimes more important. So, I hope you'll understand that this story means a lot to me. As such, I believe I should have a say if someone wants to take it to a different website, and I don't appreciate the easiness of how that bypassed my consent… I've provided the link to the Reddit post here so that you all can form your own opinions on the matter and gain a better understanding of my standpoint. (I think that FFnet doesn't let us post links, so.=. )

Additionally, I was already considering leaving this website while I was writing the epilogue, primarily due to some limitations that have been bothering me a lot. From now on, I will exclusively be posting my work on Archiveofourown (AO3), which, as far as I understand, even allows the inclusion of images within the chapters, which would be a fantastic addition. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if you could join me on AO3, follow, bookmark, or give kudos to the story there, and please let me know if you've also left a review on FFnet so I can offer a proper reply. Regarding the story itself, I am currently working on the prologue of the second book and enjoying each line. I am taking my time with it and have not set a specific update date, but I am excitedly looking forward to sharing this new work with you.
