When last we saw our heroes they had just managed to escape a fearsome flock of Spearow, after starting their journey on a rocky start. Now they are running in hopes of saving Pikachu who was injured in the climactic battle with the entire flock.
"Don't Worry Pikachu I'll get you to the pokemon centre no matter what!" he said as he and his allies trudge their way through the mud and dirt road towards Viridian
Opening starts.
The scene starts with two pokemon, Mewtwo and mew, flying in what looks like galaxies

Ash stood in a lone battle field as a spot light shined on him as scenes of various different pokemon appeared.

At a police outpost outside of Viridian City, the officer in charge, known as Officer Jenny, was making an announcement to the city from her station.
"Attention citizens of Viridian City, attention citizens of Viridian City, we have reports of possible Pokemon Thieves in our area, be on the lookout for suspicious looking strangers, repeat, be on the lookout for suspicious looking-" She stopped once she saw something approaching her station, it was our heroes, running to hopefully make it there faster, "Speak of the devil" Officer Jenny said as she saw them run before stepping out of her station and making them stop.
"Hold it!" she said as Ash tried to run past, "And just where do you all think you're going with that pokemon?" she questioned as Ash tugged away from her.
"It's my pokemon and it's hurt and we gotta get it to the hospital right away!" Ash said.
"Sorry Officer but he's right, we got caught up in this angry flock of Spearow and they would not leave us alone" Dashie explained.
"Oh I'm sorry, I thought you might be stealing it" Officer Jenny said, "Just show me your I.D. and you can go on ahead" she asked as Ash looked confused.
"I.D.? I don't have any, see we just came from Pallet Town and-"
"You know, you're the fourth person I've seen today from Pallet Town" She said as she looked to XL, Rick and Dashie, "That would make you three the firth, sixth and seventh if you're from Pallet as well" she said.
"The fourth? Oh that means Gary Oak's been here already" Ash said.
"Its very unusual for someone to carry a pokemon around in his arms and not in a pokeball, how do I know you didn't steal that pokemon, especially since you don't have any identification" Jenny stated.
"Please let us through, I wouldn't steal a pokemon and I've got to get Pikachu to the hospital right away, please miss." Ash said as Officer Jenny then noticed Ash's pokedex in his jacket pocket.
"Hey, whats that in your pocket?" Jenny asked as Ash looked to his pocket and pulled out his pokedex, "This?" he asked before Jenny grabbed it out of his hand.
"A Pokedex, this will solve our problem" she said.
XL leaned to his friends as he whispered, "I think she's a bit hyper for a police officer" he said to them as Jenny went through Ash's Pokedex.
After his ID was confirmed, Jenny offered to take Ash to the pokemon centre herself.
"You go on ahead Ash, we'll catch up with you" Dashie said as Ash nods before following Jenny to in the outpost.
"So what do we do with this?" XL asked as he lifted the bent out of shape bike."MY BIKE!" they heard a shrill voice cry as behind them came stomping a very irate Misty. "What did you idiots do to my Bike!" she cried in anger in her voice as both Rick and XL Flinched. "Uhhh W-well you see there was a standoff with the flock of Spearow and Ash's Pikachu used thunderbolt-" Rick said before he was interrupted by Misty. "You guys destroyed my bike!"
"Where is that Knuckleheaded idiot!" she yelled. "Easy there. He's rushing to the Center with Officer Jenny. His Pikachu got hurt. Real bad" Rick said trying to quell her rage.
"Y-Yeah! We're sorry what happened to your bike, we'll pay you back we swear" XL said, but Misty didn't seem at all calmed down.
Just then, the garage door for the outpost opens as Jenny and Ash race out on her motorcycle with Ash in a sidecar, leaving a large dust cloud as they sped off, literally leaving the rest in the dust.
All of them were coughing from the dust as Misty growled and yelled in frustration, "Get back here!" Misty yelled as she gave chase, running after the police bike.
"We should go after her and hope she doesn't kill Ash" XL suggested, the trio gave chase after the raging girl, however few moments later, a hook on a wire floated by and hooked the wanted poster on the board before bring it up, in the Sky was a hot air balloon that was themed on a Meowth.
In the basket of the hot air balloon was 2 people, one of them was holding the wanted poster that showed 2 wanted criminals, one was a woman with long pink hair with green orb earrings and the other was a man with blue short hair, their faces were not seen on the photos as the women held her hand out to block the camera and the man was posing away from the camera while holding a purple rose.
"A wanted poster, how flattering" said a womans voice.
"Flattering? This picture makes me look terrible" said a man's voice.
The ones piloting the balloon were revealed to be the same people on the poster, they wore the same uniform although the gender differences in the uniforms were obvious, both wore white uniforms with black shirts underneath, black gloves and boots and a big red R on their uniforms shirts with a split on the bottom of the shirts, the man wore white pants while the woman wore a short skirt, her shirt was also shorter showing a midriff, her gloves were longer than her partners and she wore heeled boots that reached her knees.
"Then you should be happy the photographer captured the real you" the woman said with a smirk, showing she had blue eyes.
The man also smirked, showing he had green eyes, "Exactly"
"We'll show these bumpkins"
"The people of viridian city will be sorry they ever saw this face"
Then another voice spoke up with an brooklyn accent, "We're all sorry to see your face, stay focused, we're here to capture rare and unusual pokemon, don't forget! Meowth" Said, a Meowth?! Meowths are small cat pokemon with beige fur, 6 long whiskers with four parting to the side and 2 going upwards, have brown fur on the tips of their paws and tails and a big golden coin biologically attached to their skulls,However this meowth was different, as most Meowth in Kanto tend to stay on all four paws, this one stood on his hind legs, and was talking like a human.
"Absolutely"
"But of course"
"And just remember, I'm the top cat!" Meowth said to the two humans
"You got it" said the man with a sarcastic tone as the trio flew in the sky, oddly enough in the same path as Ash and the others.
Speaking of Ash, he was still on his way to the pokemon centre as it became dark, Officer Jenny was driving as fast as she could as she spots the Pokemon centre dead ahead.
"There it is" She said as Ash saw it and couldn't believe with how big it was, this centre being a large dome building, Officer Jenny didn't slow down as they approached the building.
"Hold on tight kid, this is gonna be tricky!" Officer Jenny said as her bike jumped the stairs, making Ash yell in surprise before she drove into the centre, drifting her bike to a halt right to the front of the desk, startling a nurse before she scowled at the officer.
"We have a driveway you know" said the nurse
The nurse wore a pink and white uniform with a pink dress that cut off just above her knee a white apron over top with the straps tied behind in a large bow it small white shoes with a strap and pink buckle over top, she had a white nurse cap on her head, hot pink hair with 2 loops tied back and 4 curls in the front and she had blue eyes.
"Its a Pokemon emergency" Officer Jenny stated.
"Please, help him" Ash said, showing Pikachu to the nurse.
"Oh no, looks like a Pikachu" she said as she went to her computer, "I need a stretcher for a small electric pokemon, stat!" she into a mic as she typed away on the computer
Soon walking into the lobby were 2 pokemon, they were round and short, having 4 frills on the sides of their heads and had an egg in a pouch on their stomachs, both wore a nurse cap, this was Chancey.
The Chanceys brought the stretcher needed as Nurse Joy placed Pikachu onto it.
"It'll be ok" she said to Ash before looking to the Chanceys, "Rush this pokemon to the critical care unit" She said as the Chanceys did so, rushing Pikachu away.
Nurse joy then put on some rubber gloves while another Chancey held a tray with medical treatments on it, "We'll begin treatment right away" she said.
"Uh…" Ash tried to speak up but was nervous to, as Nurse Joy noticed him, "Hm? Who Are you?" she asked.
"This is Ash, he's the pokemons trainer" Jenny said.
"If there's anything I can do, please just tell me" Ash asked.
"You can be more responsible" Nurse Joy said, confusing Ash, "if you want to become a Pokemon trainer young man, you don't let a pokemon battle till its in this condition" Nurse Joy lectured Ash.
"But you don't know what happened," Ash tried to explain.
"What's past is past, now we have to heal your Pikachu" she said to him
"Well, what can I do?" Ash asked.
"Just leave everything to me" Nurse Joy said as Officer Jenny saluted Nurse Joy, "Its in your hands, I know you'll give the Pokemon excellent care".
"You got it here just in time" Nurse Joy complimented Officer Jenny.
"Thats my job" she said before realising HOW she got it here in time, "Oh my goodness I left my motorcycle parked at the front desk" she said.
"Next time use the driveway" Nurse Joy said in a sweet tone, but it was clear she was ticked off at that as Jenny nervously chuckles before quickly leaving to get her motorcycle out of the building.
"Ash you'll have to go to the waiting room" Nurse Joy said as she walked off, Ash tried to ask if he could help but the door closed before he could finish his sentence.
Later, Aash was waiting on a bench nearby the door Nurse Joy left through, an old cuckoo clock went off as the clock struck at 8 o clock, as Ash waited, he looked to the side, seeing on video telephones.
"Maybe I'll…call home" Ash said to himself.
Meanwhile, a few blocks away, minutes before, Misty had been running for a while and was now tiredly walking, with XL, Rick and Dashie not far behind.
"Come…back…you…ugh…so…tired" Misty said.
"How far…is this…pokemon centre…anyway?!" XL groaned tiredly.
Rick was ahead of the rest keeping an even pace "Just a little bit further guys. If you hadn't blown out most of your energy running you wouldn't be so tired."
"Rick, you know you have more energy than us, your older, and train like a Bewear" Dashie said.
As they walk, they soon see Officer Jenny ride past them, no longer with Ash in the side car.
"I guess Ash got to the centre" XL said before Misty got angry again.
"So he gets to relax while I have to walk after he destroyed my bike?! RAGH!" With newfound energy, Misty runs again, heading towards the Pokemon centre.
"...She's got problems" Dashie said.
Back at the Pokemon Centre.
Ash had put in the number of his house phone before his mom picked up.
"Hello, this is the Ketchum Residence.'' Came his mothers voice with the screen being blank.
"Hello, Mom?" Ash asked before the screen came on , showing his mom with a bathrobe on.
"Oh hi honey, is everything ok? Where are you Ash?" she asked him.
"The Pokemon Centre in Viridian city" Ash answered.
"Your already in Viridian City? It took your father four days to get there when he started Pokemon training, oh he'll be so proud, your the apple of his eye"
"Yeah, a rotten apple" Ash said.
"Oh Ash don't get discourage, your doing fine, honey your growing up right before my eyes, spreading your wings and spreading like a spearow"
"I feel more like a fallen pidgey" Ash said, being reminded of the Spearow flock from before.
"I won't let you talk about yourself that way, just be confident, you can do anything you set your mind to, do you understand?"
"Yes"
"And are you changing your underwear every day?" she asked.
"Yes"
"Ok, goodnight son, I love you" Delia said as she waved goodbye.
"Me too Mom, bye" Ash said as the call ended, he then got up before noticing 4 large stone tablets in different colours, framed over the front desk, it had depictions for 4 bird creatures, one had sharp wings with green stone, another was elegant looking with multiple long tail feathers in blue stone, looking similar to the bird pokemon he saw earlier in the sky, another looked to be on fire in red stone, and the final one in yellowstone, looked like a mix between a bird and a whale, having a thick tail and large wings, or fins? Ash couldn't tell.
As he looked at the blue stone tablet, he couldn't help but see the resemblance in that and the bird pokemon he saw today.
Just then, the front desks computer started to ring, having a phone line in it aswell, with no one to answer it, Ash went around the desk and answered the computer, the screen showing a picture of a sign saying Voice only.
"Um, this is Ash, who's calling?" Ash asked.
"Here, I'm over here" came a familiar voice, as the yellow stone tablet disappeared, revealing a large screen, which showed Professor, Oak, or more accurately, the back of him "Ash, its Professor Oak, don't you recognise me?" he asked.
"No professor, I didn't recognise the back of your head" Ash said.
"Eh?" Oak said before realising he connected to the wrong camera, "Oops! Wrong camera" he said before changing the settings, now the camera was facing his front now, "There, now, "I just spoke with your mother and she tells me you've made it to the Pokemon Center in Viridian City, is that correct?" he asked.
"I couldn't be talking to you if I wasn't here" Ash answered him.
"You couldn't be talking if you- Oh I see, I dialled the Pokemon Center in Viridian City and you were able to answer"
"Yeah, cause thats where I am"
"Mm hmm, I suppose that proves it, the other new pokemon trainers made it there with no problem, and I'm pleasantly surprised you got there so soon" Professor Oak said, "I admit when you left, I had my doubts that you could handle your Pikachu, but when my grandson Gary said that you wouldn't have a single new Pokemon by the time you got to Viridian City, I bet him a million dollars that he'd be wrong" he explained, making Ash embarrassed, even when not infront of him Gary still makes Ash look like a joke.
"W-Well, money isn't everything right?" Ash said, making Professor Oak lower his head in shame, "B-But Rick and XL caught some Spearows earlier, one with fire powers I think, and I even saw a flying pokemon, like that on up there, it flew right over the rainbow" Ash pointed to the blue stone tablet, Professor Oak saw it on another camera in the Pokemon Center and shook his head.
"Don't talk such nonsense, you couldn't have seen this Pokemon, trainers have searched their whole lives and never seen it" Oak explained
"It sure looked like it" Ash said.
"You must have been mistaken" Oak said before a doorbell is heard, "Ah, there's my pizza, coming!" he said before running of, before quickly coming back, "it was very nice talking to you Ash, and good luck, Mmm, anchovies, spinach and pineapple pizza" Oak said before the screen turned off.
Before Ash could question abou the pokemon or about the Professors odd choice in Pizza toppings.
"Now I've got you!" came Misty's voice, surprising Ash as he turned to see her, very angry and panting from exhaustion.
"I knew I;d find you here!" Misty said as then Rick, Dashie and XL ran in.
"Careful Ash! She's very upset about her bike!" XL said.
"What about her bike?" Ash said, which just ticked Misty off more.
"What happened? What happened?! You happened to it! That is what's left after you stole it to save your pokemon! Now I can see why your Pokemon is in the-" Before she could continue XL ran over and covered her mouth.
"Whoa whoa whoa lets chill before we say something we'll regret yeah?" XL said as Rick walked over to Ash.
"How's Pikachu? Did the nurse get to him in time?" he said as he put a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, Pikachu's inside, the Nurse is treating him now" Ash said as he felt guilty for it, XL finally let go of Misty as Ash explained, "He's not doing good, I don't know what to do" Ash said.
Dashie walks over with a comforting smile, "Well you did good, that's all we can do, you managed to get him here faster than we got here, that's gotta count for something right?" she said.
"Is it that serious?" Misty asked with concern.
"Well considering Pikachu got struck be lightning while using an electric attack against a whole giant flock of spearow while in the rain, I doubt any electric type could walk away from that unscathed" XL said, Misty was now more concerned and was letting her anger over her bike go.
Just then the light over the door shut off as the doors opened, walking out was Nurse Joy and the Chanceys with Pikachu on the stretcher with a headband and lightbulb on his head with wires attached to a machine next to the stretcher.
"Pikachu!" Ash said as the group of Trainers ran over to it, "Is he alright?" Ash asked.
"Your Pikachu's resting, it's a good thing you got it here so fast, the procedure went well and it should be fine" Nurse Joy explained.
"See, you did good Ash" Dashie said.
"Thank you so much" Ash thanked the nurse.
"Now your Pokemon needs a good rest in the recovery room, you should go in with it Ash" Nurse Joy said.
"Thanks" Ash said before looking to Misty, "Listen, I'm sorry about your bike, but I'm going to need some time to make things right" Ash said.
"No way, I fell for that last time" Misty said, "Well you should take care of your Pikachu now, we'll settle up later".
"Uh, ok" Ash said.
"She's not gonna let it go is she?" Dashie asked.
"Nope" XL said before a loud alarm goes off.
"YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE, OUR VIRIDIAN CITY RADAR SENSORS HAVE DETECTED AN AIRCRAFT BELONGING TO A GANG OF POKEMON THIEVES, IF YOU HAVE A POKEMON IN YOUR POSSESSION, EXCERCISE EXTREME CAUTION"
Above the pokemon center is the Meowth hot air balloon belonging to the criminal trio from earlier.
"Guess we woke up to this sleepy dump." said the woman.
"And how dare they act like we're criminals, they should welcome Team Rocket" said the man.
"Well, we'll teach them to respect that name!" Said the woman.
"Meowth! And when we snatch all their pokemon,those scared little mice will know I'm the top cat!" Meowth said.
"We know Meowth, we know" said the man and woman before they both threw their own pokeballs into the air.
"Ekans! Koffing! Attack!" they called out as their pokeballs fell, crashing through a skylight before the two balls opened, revealing two new pokemon, one looked like a purple balloon mixed with a sea mine, having a skull and crossbones symbol on its front with a goofy looking face and blowing thicc poisonous smoke from its holes.
The other pokemon was a rattle snake looking pokemon, its scales were purple with a single yellow ring on its neck and yellow rattle tail and orange eyes.
"What the?! An Ekans and a Koffing?" Dashie said before Koffing started spewing smoke everywhere, just then the criminals in the ballon jumped out and landed perfectly through the skylight, Ash managing to see them barely through the smoke.
"Who are they?!" he asked.
"Don't be frightened little boy" said the woman.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves" said the man as the smoke began to clear around them.
"To protect the world from devastation"
"To unite all peoples within our nations"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"
"To extend our reach to the stars Above…"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or Prepare to fight!"
"Meowth that's right!"
The trainers and nurse were in complete shock from this as Ash spoke up, "W-What are you talking about?".
"He just doesn't get it does he?" Jessie said.
"How can I? You don't make any sense" Ash said.
"Ash, I think they might be after our pokemon" XL said
"Well looks like one of you knows what we want" James said.
Immediately Ash went to protect Pikachu, "Your not getting Pikachu!" he exclaimed.
"Pikachu? We're not interested in your precious electric rat" Jessie said not caring for Pikachu.
"We're here for only rare and valuable pokemon" James explained.
"Your wasting your time, this is a center for weak and injured pokemon" Misty explained.
"Well that maybe so, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we find a few little pokemon gems among all the junk." Jessie said.
"Wait wait wait…..your whole MO is instead of catching your own pokemon you could sell. Very easily mind you. You instead try to steal other people's already trained and stronger pokemon who can resist you better and have a human to help command them…..that's your plan?" Rick said with a tilt to his head.
"Indeed, normal pokemon you can catch in the wild aren't as seeked out for payments, who wants to waste time catching such weak pokemon and spend forever training them, when you get just buy an already trained and powerful one?" James said.
"Rick, he kinda makes a good point, I mean, most rich people don't exactly go out to battle in the wild to go find a pidgey" XL said but glared at Team Rocket
"Yeah but that's what a Pokemon daycare is for. Their whole plan is stupid. I mean really why would I buy an illegally caught pokemon that can be easily hunted down thanks to the pokeballs chipping all caught pokemon and register them to the league. Also if it's predicated on the rich buying them they can just hire a trainer to get them pokemon…their whole scheme is the most moronic idea I ever heard. If you're gonna be evil, at least do something more impressive like take over the region!" Rick's whole break down made Jessie and James both irritated and embarrassed that a kid just called their whole organisation stupid.
"Oh yeah?! You'd be surprised how many rich idiots prefer illegal methods over the whole hiring a trainer plan!" Jessie said with a glare.
"Exactly! Besides, we've gotten this far, so we don't plan to stop now!" James said
"Oh yeah if your so good how come you have such lame pokemon like an ekans and koffing and nothing more impressive like a Toxtricity or a Gengar" Rick said which hurt the duo's pride.
"I'll have you know my koffing was gifted to me as a christmas present and is the best poison type I've ever owned!" James exclaimed.
"Oh so you have pokemon you care for as much as we do…ok…when i kick your asses i'll take them to give you a taste of your own medicine you no good-" Rick proceeded to call them every curse word in the english language causing them to leave their mouths agape and nurse joy to cover the kids ears
XL then grabbed Rick and just tried to cover his entire head with his body, "Rick hows about you oh I don't know STOP ANTAGONISING THE CRIMINALS INFRONT OF US?!" XL yelled at Rick trying to shut him up as Rick managed to push him off to keep speaking.
"Relax these jokers are nothing and I'll prove it right now, Lets go Razor!" he exclaimed as he lets loose his Gible from her ball she lets out a cry of her name
"Oh we'll show you Brat! Ekans! Use wrap!" Jessie called out.
"Koffing, Poison Gas!" James commanded.
"Dodge 'em both with Dig." Rick commanded calmly as his lil Gible burrowed fast underground avoiding both attacks.
"Nurse Joy, I think you, Ash and Misty should go and hide, we'll deal with this" XL said as Nurse Joy nods as they go into the back, "Dashie you go with them to protect them incase they get through us" XL said.
"Are you sure? You have more pokemon then me right now" Dashie said.
"Now Razor! Take em down!" Rick commanded as a whole was made, only for nothing to happen, confusing everyone, before Razor peaks out with a scared look, making Rick sweatdrop at this, "Come on Razor you can do this your strong!" she just goes back into her hole, "Aww man what's wrong?"
Jessie and James smirk as they laugh at this, "Well well, looks like you made a big mistake kid! Ekans! Get in there and bring that Gible out of there!" Jessia commanded as Ekans was about to charge into the hole.
"Not so fast!" XL said as he threw a pokeball, "Angel! Use Psybeam!" appearing in the battle was his Indeedee as she then shot a psybeam at Ekans, blasting it away from the hole.
"Oh no you don't twerp! Koffing Poison gas!" James commanded as Koffing spew black smoke at Indeedee.
"Piplup use Bubblebeam!" from the opposite direction bubbles come in that clear away the smoke and slammed koffing into a pillar revealing Dashie standing there with Piplup
"Oh great now they become a trio of twerps" James said as Koffing kept spewing smoke while Ekans charged in for an attack again, somehow being faster than before as Angel dodged, making Ekans destroy the front desks computer.
"Oh crap, this is getting more intense" XL said before looking to Rick, "Not that I wanna sound like a coward Rick, but we should group up with the others, we could end up damaging the entire Pokemon center if we keep battling here" XL said to him.
Rick was too busy trying to get Razor out of the hole. As he was distracted Meowth was sneaking up behind him.
"Shoulda quit while you were ahead twerp!" Meowth said before his claws extended out and slashed Rick at his back
Rick shouted in pain but he made sure to block the hole to prevent meowth from getting to Razor.
"Rick!" Dashie and XL yelled in concern.
"Rick get Razor outta there, we need to go find the others!" XL called out as Angel kept trying to dodge Ekans and Koffing while Piplup kept providing cover fire.
Meowth kept on hitting the boy telling him to give up..but seeing Rick in danger triggered something in Razor as her primal instincts kicked in as she launched out her hole her eyes glazed over and started attacking poor meowth ferociously
"Nya! Get dis crazy thing off of me!" meowth screamed as Razor in comedic fashion bit on his head and started spinning him around at high speeds before letting go causing meowth to crash into Koffing and Ekans.
"Hey what happened to it being a scaredy cat?" James questioned.
"Well it doesn't matter, we came here looking for rare and powerful pokemon, and we have a few of them right in front of us, let's grab them and take the rest of this center's pokemon too!" Jessie said.
Not wanting to waste time, XL ran in, grabbed Rick and Razor, even grabbing Angel and proceeded to drag them along, "While we have the chance, let's go!" XL yelled out in frustration
they all ran to the back where the poke balls are stored, inside Nurse Joy, Misty and Ash were trying to get the pokeballs sent to another center.
"Did you get rid of them?" Misty asked.
"No, they are surprisingly tough,not to mention Razor couldn't exactly fight until Rick got attacked" XL said as they looked to see Rick covered in scratches.
Just then a loud rumble is heard before all the lights turned off.
"What happened?!" Ash exclaimed.
"They must have knocked out the power" Nurse Joy said before smirking, "But we have our own Pika power source" she said before a large light is seen inside a nearby chamber, looking inside, the kids all saw a whole group of Pikachu, running in a machine as they generated electricity, soon power came back on as the teleporter for pokeballs resumed its work.
"How many pokemon have been sent away?" Dashie asked.
"Not enough, we still have so many to send off to the Pewter city pokemon center" Nurse Joy explained before loud bangs are heard on the door.
Before anyone could do something, the doors were blasted off as Koffing and Ekans barged in with Jessie, James and Meowth following too, the force ofthe explosion caused all of the pokeballs to fall to the floor.
"Quick! Get those pokeballs!" Nurse Joy exclaimed.
"Right" Ash said as he went to grab them.
"This is war! Don't just hold em, throw em!" Misty exclaimed.
"EH?!" Dashie and XL exclaimed at that.
"Alright then" Ash said as he went to throw a pokeball, "Pokeball, here we go!" he said as he threw the ball, coming out of the pokeball was a pidgey, however at first sight of the Ekans, it flew back to its ball and tapped the button, zapping back in.
"How about this!" Rick threw another ball and out popped a useless goldeen that only hopped around on the floor.
"...thats just sad" James said.
"What ya gonna do? Cook us a fillet?" Meowth quipped.
"Try this!" Dashie threw a ball and out pops a nidoran female, however just like the pidgey, the first sight of the Ekans caused it to retreat.
"Ok then, lets go with this!" XL said as he threw a pokeball, and out popped was an Alolan Ratata, even with its dark typing, it still shivered at the sight of Ekans as it ran away, "Oh come on how many Pokemon are useless here?!" XL exclaimed as he looked to Rick, "Hey Rick, can't you just use that Terastilise thing earlier to crush these guys?!".
"No I can't my terastal orb needs to charge, Why can't you just Dynamax and crush them!?" Rick exclaimed back at XL.
"You know dang well I can't! If I do I could bring the whole Pokemon Center down on top of us!" XL exclaimed back.
"Ash, get Pikachu out of here, we'll try and hold em off" Misty said.
"Are you sure?" Ash asked.
"Just do it" Misty said as Ash nodded before running with Pikachu still on the stretcher, seeing this, Koffing and Ekans pursued him.
"They're going after Ash!" Dashie said as she tried to follow, only for Meowth to stop her.
"Not gonna happen twerp" Meowth said, extending his claws, Piplup glared at the cat pokemon as it stood in front of Dashie to protect her.
Meanwhile, Ash managed to get back to the lobby as Ekans and Koffing followed, however due to the rush, he accidentally crashed into the destroyed back from earlier, making him fall to the ground.
At the sudden recoil, Pikachu weakly woke up, just then the entire group of Pikachu from the back up generator had run into the lobby and started to pile on Ash's Pikachu, Jessie and James had ran into the lobby to catch up to their pokemon and see the Pikachu pile up.
"Whats going on?" Jessie asked her partner.
"I don't know" James said before all the Pikachu simultaneously used Thundershock, sending an electrical blast at Team Rocket, sending tons of electrical energy into them, after the Pikachu's stopped, Ash's Pikachu climbed onto of the pile, healthy again.
"Pika pi!".
"Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed happily.
Meowth finally caught up to his team and saw them fried, "Do I have to do everything?! That mouse is cat food!" Meowth said as he approached Pikachu and Ash.
Ash glared at the cat pokemon, not willing to give up now as Pikachu spoke to Ash, "Pika pi, Pika Pika".
"Pika Pika?" Ash asked.
"Pika"
"Pika Pika power?" Ash asked and got a nod from Pikachu, "so you want, you want more power!" Ash said as he grabbed the burnt bike and put it upside down before starting to peddle on it.
"Huh, whats this?" Meowth asked, confused.
"Well, lets just say that Pikachu and I and gonna generate a little excitement for you Meowth" Ash said as he peddled faster, the light on the bike glowing brighter and brighter, which made Team Rocket nervous as Pikachu jumped onto the headlight before absorbing the electrical charge, Pikachu then let loose a very powerful electric charge as it zapped Team Rocket, the sudden shock made Koffing let loose more smoke, as the electricity zapped it, caused the smoke to ignite, which in turn ignited all the smoke that was in the building, blowing the roof off it, very literally as Team Rocket were blown into the sky and into their hot air balloon which was blown away due to the force of the explosion.
Officer Jenny rode in on her motorcycle to see the explosion, "I'm too late, but not for the fireworks" She said as the Pokemon Centers front was basically destroyed.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket were dangling by a rope off their balloon as they were covered in soot, their clothes damaged and covered in bruises.
"Great, a cat losing to a mouse!" Jessie complained.
"That Pikachu is no ordinary Pikachu" Meowth argued.
"Its certainly very rare, a perfect prize!" James exclaimed.
"Lets catch it! And get revenge on those twerps! Especially the one with the gible!" Jessie exclaimed.
"Perhaps we will" Meowth said, just then their balloon tore a hole open as the hot air balloon zoomed in the air, flying out of control as Team Rocket panicked while flying out of control.
Later on it was a new day, and the group of trainers had managed to head towards the Viridian forest.
"I still can't believe we faced a bunch of Pokemon thieves last night" XL said
"I cant believe ash blew up a building" Rick said as everyone chuckles at Ash's misfortune as Ash had to deeply apologise to nurse joy but was thankfully pardoned as it was an unforeseen result of defending himself against Team Rocket.
"Still last night was crazy, and to think, we wouldn't have won if Ash didn't destroy Misty's bike" Dashie said.
"Which your still gonna pay back for!" Misty said to Ash
"I said I was sorry!" Ash said as the group kept walking, as they did XL pulled out a map, "So where are we now?" he asked.
Before they could get an answer, they hear Misty scream as XL, Dashie and Rick pulled out their pokeballs.
"What is it?!" "Are Team Rocket back?!" "Whats wrong?!"
What they saw made them sweatdrop, Misty was screaming, because she saw a Caterpie.
""Get that disgusting creepy bug away from me!" Misty yelled out.
"...Are you for real?" XL deadpanned.
"Cool a caterpie, never seen one before, I think I'll catch it" Ash said.
"Go for it dude!" Rick exclaimed.
"Try not to anger a bunch of them dude" XL joked.
Ash pulled his cap back, got into position and threw a pokeball right at caterpie sucking it in. And after 3 shakes caterpie was caught, Ash smiled in excitement as he grabbed the pokeball and held it up high, "I caught a Caterpie!" Ash exclaimed in excitement.
With the recent defeat and their first encounter with Team Rocket, our heroes journey on, with new friends and more Pokemon to encounter, As the journey Continues.
