Okay, I'm going for it despite how much I despise Season 5. Let me know if you are not able to see the Season 5 poll for Arielle's hookups. As always would love to hear your requests!

Monday morning had Isaac and I giggling as we listened to Malia and Stiles talking, I know it's not super polite to listen in but he was making it so easy with his normal flailing.

"I mean, I see why you're worried. He's really hot. He's got like great hair, and a perfect body. You should definitely feel threatened," Malia told him honestly.

I snorted causing Iz to devolve into harder snickers "P-poor Stiles," I said wiping my eyes due to their watering.

"Thank you. Because I do. Now more than ever," Stiles told her. Isaac was grabbing his side in pain as he laughed.

It had been funny to start with but now we were setting ourselves off "Mom should no better than to give us all that sugar before we go to school," I laughed. As we walked toward them. Kids were giving us a wide berth and probably thought we were nuts. It was a nice tie-in from my very first day here.

We reached them as Stiles was lecturing about his plan "-Verify the facts. You find the piece that doesn't fit and... and catch him in the act. That's how you do it," He looked up at Isaac and me who could keep the grins off our faces "Were you guys listening in?"

I widened my eyes innocently "Who us? No way. We totally weren't listening to your girlfriend sing another man's praises,"

Malia looked confused "I wasn't singing?" That caused us to crack up again, we got a glare from both of them.

"That's so rude!" Stiles complained and then focused behind Malia. We all turned to look at Theo stepping out of his parent's car. He saw us and grinned his nice smile and waved. Stiles and I exchanged glances again, my smile fading.

"Why are you so suspicious of this guy?" Malia asked.

"Because I remember Theo from fourth grade. Okay? That's not Theo,"

I groaned "Stiles, it's been eight years. I am fully behind you thinking he is as suspicious as he could possibly be. However, do not use that as your argument when you inevitably talk with Scott about this. It's one of the worst arguments I've ever heard come out of your mouth,"

He looked affronted and then nodded in agreement. The school bell rang so we made our way inside. Stiles, Isaac, and I split from Malia who had to take a lower math class at the beginning of the day.

Second period Stiles came and grabbed me before tugging me outside "Um Stiles, usually if a guy was dragging me somewhere I would deck him. So um, could you tell me what's going on since I actually like you and the way your face is arranged,"

Stiles scoffed "You wouldn't hit me and you know it. I have a free period, so do you and Scott," Scott was looking at us in surprise "And so does Theo,"

Scott gave me a look, I just shook my head in amusement as we followed him to the locker room where Theo was waiting for us.

"Why is it always the boy's bathroom?" I questioned wrinkling my nose at the smell. Theo smirked at me.

"We could always go into the girl's locker room," Stiles replied brightly.

I rolled my eyes "Malia would break you so fast. Plus it wouldn't be the first time we've used Coaches office,"

Stiles waved erratically "You can handle it, so Theo. Origin story time?" He looked surprised but started into a story about how he was turned late one night when he was skateboarding, and that he was turned by someone who was later killed by twins. I narrowed my eyes, how likely was it for this kid to have been turned by the same Alpha as Ethan and Aiden?

Scott the trusting puppy that he was looked like he was believing him. He gave Stiles and me a look when we both sat there unimpressed. Theo looked a little panicked at the look on our faces.

"Scott, listen to my pulse. I'm telling the truth," he pleaded.

Stiles stepped up "Right. Or you just know how to steady your heart rate while you're lying your ass off,"

"Why would I lie?" Theo asked widening his eyes at us innocently.

"Because maybe you're not who you say you are," I groaned, I told him not to use that defense. He gestured "what" to me and I shook my head annoyed because I knew this little shit would have a good reply.

"Okay," He replied readily and turned to face Scott "In the fourth grade you had an inhaler, I had one too. I remember this day when I ended up in the nurse's office with an asthma attack. A bad one. I was waiting to be taken to the ER. You were waiting for the Principal. You told me what would happen when you go to the ER for asthma. How they give you oxygen, an IV of prednisone. You made it sound easy. Like everything would be okay," Stiles looked fed up, and Scott was nodding along with him "I've been by myself this whole time," I shared another look with Stiles "Everybody knows that lone wolves, they don't make it on their own. I swear I'm that same kid from fourth grade, I was hoping you were too."

Well crap, an A+ performance that left Scott smelling guilty. This kid is smart. Too smart. The bell rang "I better not be late for class. You're not the only ones I need to make a good impression on," Theo told us giving that innocent smile. Scott smiled back.

"No. Don't give me that look," Stiles annoyedly told Scott grabbing his backpack from the bench "Don't,"

"We have to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes," Scott implored looking at both of us like we should do better.

"Not this time. All right. I'm right. There's something off about him. I can feel it,"

"Lydia's the psychic. Not you," Scott told him walking out of the locker room.

"She's not psychic. She's a Banshee. Okay? There's a difference,"

I reached out and paused Scott's forward motion so that he would turn to look at me "Scott, you know you're the sweetest guy ever, right?" He narrowed his eyes suspiciously "But you are incredibly naive," he looked angry at that and I put my hand out to stop whatever he was about to say to me "Stiles and I have a history of being right," Stiles flailed beside me in agreement "And you have a history of not listening to us, and pulling the pack into a world of trouble," I stopped him from interjecting again "Scott. Right now I am telling you. That kid is not right, he is as fake as they come, and this is only going to lead to something…..I don't know but it won't be good,"

"I think the last year has changed you, Arielle, and not in a good way," Scott told me sadly and left us behind to walk to his class.

I was furious as I turned to Stiles who looked shocked "He didn't mean that," He told me.

"I think he did, but that doesn't matter. The fact that you and I took one look at this kid and knew he was bad news should mean something to him. He's letting his emotions get in the way. I also told you not to use the fact that it's not really him in your argument," I told him sternly "A kid like him is going to know how to tell a story. He paused all the right moments, made some self-deprecating conversation, and told Scott to be better. That story was tailor-made for Scott,"

"I completely agree," Stiles nodded looking in the direction that Scott went "We'll talk about how to get to the bottom of this, I don't know if we should include anyone else," I nodded in agreement and turned to walk to my class.

My last class was 4th period, I found Lydia waiting for me outside of it. She and I still were on the outs slightly after last semester but we had been able to have some stilted conversations.

"What's up?" I asked her as I passed by she fell into step with me.

"I need Parrish," she responded airily. I shot her a questioning look "I need someone a little more open-minded to go and check Tracy's house for anything unusual. I have a feeling something strange is happening to her," I nodded at this and pulled out my cell phone to call him.

"Hi Jordan, I was wondering if you had some time free to check into something for Lydia and me? Yeah of course, I'll text you the address," I turned to Lydia "Alright, field trip time,"

0000000000000000000000000000

I felt a little awkward getting introduced to Tracy in her bedroom but sucked it up as Jordan was checking out all of the windows. Tracy was rubbing her arms like she was cold, and staring at her shoes.

"I don't see any signs of an attempted forced entry," Jordan called to us after completing his look at all of the windows "You said something about birds, Tracy?"

She finally looked up "The bird was at the skylight. The one that woke me up," She said nodding toward it. She shot us a nervous look to see if we thought she was crazy. Stranger things have happened in Beacon Hills, and if Lydia involved herself I'm guessing something was happening.

"Can I take a look?" Jordan asked and got permission before hopping up on a chair "Tracy, you said the skylight was sealed for weatherproofing," Jordan asked her, when she nodded he barely pushed on the skylight and it popped open. She looked shocked and worried, but not as much as Jordan did when he looked around out there. Lydia and I shot each other a concerned look at his facial expression "Nothing here," he reassured her and climbed back down. Now that was a lie if I ever heard one.

I got a text from Stiles asking to meet back up at school to meet at the library. Everyone had agreed to do a group study session at least twice a week so none of us fell behind like we did last year.

"So there was a literal treachery of Ravens on her roof?" I asked Jordan after we had said goodbye to Tracy and followed him to his cruiser. He looked confused "Instead of flock a group of Ravens is called a treachery, or an unkindness. Similar to a murder of Crows,"

"Huh, interesting. Yeah, they looked like they put up a hell of a fight to get into her room. I can't do anything official right now, but I can come back after my shift tonight and watch the house for a couple of hours,"

"Are you sure Jordan? That's a lot to put on your shoulders, you deserve time off," I told him.

He leaned back on the cruiser smiling "It's not like the Sheriff is fully utilizing me right now, he's still afraid I'll catch something on fire if I get too worked up. I could use a little excitement,"

"I'll keep you company," chirped Lydia happily. I looked at her suspiciously, she was being awfully helpful today. Her gaze stayed locked on Jordan and I couldn't stop the snort of amusement that I was quick to cut off when they looked at me. I just shrugged.

"I think I'll be okay," he told her, she protested agreeing with me "I wouldn't do it if I didn't think something strange was going on. I also owe you guys,"

"For what?" Lydia and I asked at the same time.

"Three weeks of digging through every piece of old literature and mythology trying to figure out the something strange going on with me," the Ghostbusters song popped into my head and now I was never going to get out.

"But we never figured it out," Lydia told him fluttering her eyelashes at him "I'll bring you coffee,"

"I'd offer to come to, but tonight's my last night with Derek," Lydia looked at me sympathetically.

"Your last night with him? What does that mean?" Jordan asked.

"He's going to be leaving indefinitely to learn how to control himself. So we are splitting up amicably for now, and I just want to spend time with him before he leaves,"

Jordan leaned forward to pat my shoulder "Sorry that's happening," He contemplated it for a second "Medium Americano. Black, if you come tonight," He said smiling at Lydia. She grinned back. I shook my head calling out bye, then left to go meet with the rest of the pack back at school.

We had been waiting on Stiles for about twenty minutes before he came into the library and slapped some papers on the table in front of Scott, Kira, Malia, and me. We all leaned forward to see what he had.

"So you found something?" Scott asked. I was pleased that he was giving Stiles the benefit of the doubt.

"Another signature," he told us spreading them out "This is Theo's dad's signature on a speeding ticket from eight years ago. And, this is his dad's signature on a transfer form to Beacon Hills High School from just a few days ago," He pointed at them. I wanted to strangle him.

"How did you get his transfer form?" Kira asked him not bothering to inspect the pages.

Scott gave him the look "You didn't break into the Administration Office?"

Stiles Sighed "No, I did not break into the Administration Office," we all gave him the look "Okay, I might have broken into the Administration Office," He grabbed his hair for a second and then pointed at the pages "Can we just focus on the signatures, please? They're different,"

"They're sort of different," Malia was quick to agree.

"They're completely different. Come on. Look-" He went off to talk about the differences.

Kira looked confused "So now, Theo is Theo, but his parents aren't his parents?" she asked him.

I could tell he was growing more frustrated "Someone's not someone. And when I figure out who that someone really is, someone's in big trouble," He told us and then looked confused about what he just said.

"But no one's done anything wrong," Scott said in a questioning tone. It was my turn to sigh in exasperation.

"Yet. If Theo's parents are both psychotic K*llers then obviously, we should not trust him, right?"

Malia looked a little put out "My parents are Peter and the Desert Wolf," Everyone paused to look at him. Stiles scrubbed his hand over his eyes.

"Okay… It's fine. You know what? I'll figure it out myself. Right? I don't need you or you or you, I don't need anyone." He yelled out the last part as he grabbed everything and walked out the door. I waved at them as I scrambled after Stiles.

"Stiles, Stiles wait," I called out as he was about to get into his jeep.

He groaned and slammed the door back closed as he turned to look at me. I paused in surprise because he always treated Rosco like his baby "Where was my backup, Ari? You are supposed to be supporting me in this,"

I shook him "Stiles I am on your side, but signatures…really? I can't get mine to look the same ever, and you're again comparing stuff that has too much time in between them to be definitive proof. You're grasping at straws," He protested and I cut him off "You are. It has only been a day, you don't have to rush to find all the answers right this second. You know better than anyone how much time an investigation takes. You coming up with conspiracy theories is not going to bring Scott around," I finished firmly.

He sighed in defeat "Will you come with me tonight to help me plan the next steps?"

"I can't, not tonight. It's Derek's and my last night together. I need this time with him. I am fully available tomorrow," I told him. I looked questioningly at Liam who I just noticed was in Stiles' passenger seat. I nodded at him and then walked to my car, finally I could meet up with Derek.

000000000000000000000000000

Stepping out of the elevator into Derek's loft my eyes immediately start to water as I look around. The whole loft is covered in candles. Every surface except for a walkway and space in front of the window of the floor-to-ceiling window. Blankets covered the open space, and plates of food sat there. The best sight though was Derek. In black slacks with a white button-up tucked into them, the sleeves rucked up to his forearms. He looked delicious.

"Arielle?" he called for me, he was nervous. I swallowed heavily making my way to him. He smiled as he took my hand pulling me toward him "If you're worried about the candles, the ones on the floor and any on wood surfaces are flameless,"

I reached up to touch his cheek "I can't believe you did all of this," I whispered. He smiled and leaned down to press his lips on mine.

"I may have called in all my favors to Scott's pack to get it all ready," he murmured to me "I got teased mercilessly for you. If that's not love I don't know what is,"

I choked on a laugh and then tears started to run down my face. He looked worriedly at me "Please don't go," I sobbed leaning my head against his chest so he couldn't see me losing it. He pressed me tight against him.

"You know I wouldn't go if I didn't have to. It kills me that we have to go our separate ways. I know we keep fighting to get back to each other, and we will, we always do,"

I shook my head against him, my tears soaking his shirt "You are breaking my heart," He pulled my head up to kiss me.

"I know,"

We stood there for a few more minutes before I got it together "Sorry I cried all over you," I told him wiping my eyes.

"Don't apologize, but I would hate for this food to get cold so come on, let's get you fed," He pulled me down to sit on the padded blankets and handed me a plate of tiny finger foods. I smiled at him, trying to not let any more tears fall. Derek pulled his phone out and pressed a button, soft music came spilling out of the speakers, low enough that we could talk, but loud enough that it filled the space. This was the sweetest thing someone had done for me. He made me play twenty questions with him and made me laugh at some of his younger antics. When we finished our food he pulled me to him and laid down so that we faced each other.

"I know we can't do much right now considering my control issues, but I want to kiss you," Smiling I leaned forward to give in to his request just for him to pull away. Instead, he brought my hands up, kissing each fingertip, then knuckle. His kisses trailed down my arm, across my collarbone, and repeated the process on the other side. I was crying again as he laid kisses against my neck, my chin, my cheeks, and up to my forehead. He ended it by kissing my lips softly. "I love you,"

I couldn't say anything so I repeated the whole process on him. After I kissed his lips he brought me to lay on his chest. We fell asleep a little while later.

It was around five when he got up and gathered his things. I pretended to be asleep, and he let me. I sobbed when the door closed and the elevator came to take him down to his ride. I didn't have to pretend anymore so I gathered my things, made sure everything was off, and drove home. I didn't go to my room, I went straight to Isaacs and laid down next to him. His arm came around me to pull me to his side and his hand stroked through my hair until I fell back asleep despite my tears.
