Alright, here it is. The crossover with thesuperone342. This is the first chapter of four, and it is written by him, so expect a different style and POV. It will be in Zane's, the main character of his story, then it will alternate to Matt, so on and so forth. His review responses are on his story, and I will respond to reviews for chapter 56 on the next chapter.
If you wish to skip, go to Chapter 63.
Anyway, a short beginning, but I don't really have much to say, except he blew my mind with this chapter! I love it! And I hope you all do too.
If you haven't read "Zane Williams and the Gods of Olympus" You'll be confused. If you want to, go ahead and come back to this, if not, simply read and try to enjoy, or ignore until Book Three comes out. Either way, thank you for the support.
From this point on, thesuperone342 has written everything.
Let's blow this pop-stand.
(Disclaimer: Neither me or Echoxenvy own Percy Jackson or any related media. If you could tell that from the fact that this is on a FanFiction site, you're fucking retarded.)

(Zane POV)
The loud thundering sound of lightning crackled through my ears as I shot lightning forwards into the air, the sky above darkening with my power. I raised my other arm and did the same, shooting the power of my father from both of my hands like a Sith Lord, only the level of power and strength died up to a thousand. The entire sky was covered in lightning as it arched on and off of each other and sparked in the air. The normally would be dark sky caused by the dark clouds above completely brightened by my storm of lightning that ejected from my hands. I levitated in the air, now truly flying thanks to my new telekinetic abilities and I begun to spin the wind in all directions I desired. The wind all around me warped in every direction possible, the wind itself becoming sharp thanks to my pressurization. In the sky above, the clouds formed some sort of vortex, creating a spinning movement in the sky. Thunder could be heard in every direction, sounding as if bombs were going off and shaking everything around me. I reached out with my mind, lifting boulders and rocks from the ground, trying to train my mind and strengthen my hold over my new power. Sweat dripped down my head as I taxed every single one of my abilities all at once. I held it for minutes, trying to drain my stamina and overwhelm my mind. The lightning, thunder and wind part weren't very difficult, as I had put up more impress shows in my sleep. No, the difficult part was doing all of this while using my newfound telekinesis, which wasn't very well trained at the moment. Blood dripped from my nose as I pushed myself to my limits, my entire head straining and aching as I did so. Eventually, it all came to a halt.
Feeling my strength leave me, I collapsed to the ground, falling from about ten feet in the air. I landed on my feet as the dozens of massive boulders and rocks fell to the ground all around me and my powers in the sky and the area disappeared. I panted and huffed, my hands on my knees. "Fourteen minutes and thirty seven seconds. Twenty one seconds past my previous record." I said to myself, noting that my mental abilities were growing. They were growing rather quick, actually. A couple of weeks ago when I had started training them, I could only lift a solid five hundred pounds with my mind. Now I could lift hundreds of tons for long periods of time. Still absolutely nothing compared to my physical strength, but not too bad when considering I was lifting things without touching them. "Alright, let's get some real training in." I shifted into my Thunder Form, careful to control the burst of lightning as I did so. I looked at my lightning covered hands, further illuminated by my glowing eyes. I was nearly ten times more power than I was before my battle with Luke nearly two weeks ago. It still blew my mind how I could get stronger simply from healing when I was angry. Before my strength increase, I was very confident I could destroy the Solar System, thanks to something Koios said a while back, without much trouble. But now? I could probably destroy multiple solar systems. I couldn't even imagine the scale that my power could exceed to, so I tried to contain and control it as best as I could.
I reached down to my belt and drew my new Heavenly Diamond Morning Star, Thymos. My father had finally delivered the weapon he had promised me on Christmas, something he probably thought was funny. Basically, my new weapon was a four foot long diamond stick with a spiked ball of diamond at the end of it, with some black leather hand straps on the grip. Despite the fact that it glowed and was gleaming with primordial power, it didn't really look super ornate or fancy. That wasn't really a problem, since I didn't care too much for the looks of the weapon, just mostly it's effectiveness. I swung the weapon around, feeling how well balanced it was in my hand. Usually, morningstars are likely heavy and clumsy, but not when it was crafted by Hephaestus. I held the weapon up into the air and charged it with lightning. My lightning grew even brighter, if it was possible and it took on a strange aura. You see, Heavenly Diamond is filled with chaotic energy, which is the energy that existed in the place of the universe before its creation. Basically void energy. When I charged my lightning into the weapon, it took on some of Heavenly Diamond's properties. It made even my lightning far more dangerous and powerful than normal. I swung the weapon around as I took a combat stance, enjoying the lighter and more precise weapon than I did than the previous axe weapons I welded. I charged wind into the weapon and shot it out into a wave of pressurized wind slashes. The chaotic energy would even be charged into the wind as well, somehow making the wind a brighter color.
I continued with what could be called some kind of lightning kata as the power of the lightning Thymos generated grew. It was insane how the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar amplified my lightning to absurd levels. I was confident I could probably even damage Atlas with the lightning and wind by itself, much less the weapon. As my footwork and precise slashes and swipes continued, I could feel the power of Thymos grow even more. I began to wonder just how much power the weapon could bring upon the world, so I decided something that was probably a little reckless, but also something I needed to know. I charged more and more power into Thymos, lightning generating off the glowing Heavenly Diamond weapon like some kind of Tesla coil, just way stronger and more intense. The wind picked up around me and a small, blue aura materialized around my skin. After my battle with Luke and the breaking of my limits, my aura was now visible for some reason. Lightning continued to charge into Thymos, and my blue aura surrounded the weapon as well. When I finally reached a level of power I considered to be an absolute metric fuck ton, I chose a spot in the middle of my training area and pointed, unleashing the lightning into one concentrated spot. I worked hard on making sure the lightning did not fall out of my control, my vision starting to be obstructed by the incredible amount of strength that was building up in one giant sphere of lighting my blast created. I grit my teeth, trying to keep the immense power under control, even using my telekinesis to build a barrier around it just in case. However, it wasn't enough and the lightning exploded outwards through my control, blowing me back nearly twenty feet and knocking me to the ground. I groaned and stood up, seeing a crater where I had sent the blast. I was lucky I created that barrier, otherwise that blast probably would have destroyed the entire planet or possibly much more. But the other thing I saw send confusion and shock through me.
What stood directly in the middle of the sizable crater, was some kind of...rip. A large circular sphere of some kind that led to somewhere else. It was like the portals that Luke could create, only this felt more...odd and wrong. Like it wasn't supposed to be there. On the other side of the possible portal, there was the same open area surrounded by forest I had been training in, only completely untouched by my heavily destructive training. The portal made some sort of sound that was difficult to explain, but it sounded almost otherworldly and odd. Like a constant siren or something set at a low level of volume. I walked up to the portal, hesitant to approach and stood in front of it. I looked on the other side, again finding that I was looking at the same area I currently stood in, only no damage from my training. I hesitated for a second before sticking my hand through the portal, almost expecting for it to vanish or something. But no, it went through just fine and I was in perfect shape. I stepped through the portal to the other side, almost bewildered by what I found. The sky was completely clear, as I hadn't created a storm over on this end. I looked back to my side of the portal, expecting it to close or something at any minute, but no, it remained open. I thought about going back and telling everyone what happened before exploring the other side of the portal, but I decided to make sure it wasn't dangerous or anything first. And honestly, my curiosity was through the roof right now. Just what had happened and where was I? I didn't know what I was going to find over here, so I hid my aura just in case.
I walked away from the portal and the opening into the forest, noting just how similar it was to my side of the portal. I reached out with my aura sense, sensing a cluster of divine power nearby, some of them familiar. That confirmed it for me. I had just opened up a portal to a different Camp Half-Blood. The same forest and opening, auras coming from the same place as well. Not all of the auras felt familiar, some very different from my own camp, which could mean a number of different things. One, I could have somehow opened up a portal to the future or something, which doesn't make sense, but this entire situation doesn't make any sense. Or two, I could have opened a portal to another dimension or universe. Both options explained this situation, and both options had its own possible scenarios and consequences. I didn't really know which one was true, but I guess it was time to find out. I walked out of the forest, the outskirts of the camp starting to appear in my vision, however, it was not the camp I was expecting.
The buildings were run down, damaged, some destroyed even. As I entered the camp, I could feel some kind of atmosphere over the entire place. That was my telepathy and emotion sensing doing its job, as I could feel negative emotions all over the place. When I took a closer look, the camp looked like it had been attacked. There where scorched marks, craters and cracks all around the ground. The buildings showed signs of damage from the outside, and some buildings were not even there where they were on my side of the portal. Some of the campers I did see looked dejected or hopeless, like being here was one of the worst things that could happen to them. Buildings like the Ares cabin, Apollo cabin and others were damaged, some of them looking like lava was poured on them. Other buildings like the Hermès cabin were simply gone all together. Even the big house was not untouched, as it looked like something had cleaved it in two. I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. Who could have mustered up the strength to attack camp? The only person that came to mind was Luke, or basically Kronos. If this was the future, was this what was in store for us?
I walked to the other side of the camp, feeling how utterly dejected and downcast everyone I passed. None of the campers gave me a second look, despite the glowing Diamond Morningstar at my waist. Eventually, I made it to the lake and as I was approached, I saw them. Tombstones. Dozens of them. The graves were aligned in rows close to the river, and some of them looked hastily constructed. Names I did and did not recognize could be spotted on the graves. Some of the names I did recognize jarred me. I felt a feeling of pure shock and disbelief settle in my stomach as I looked around at all the graves by the lake. I felt almost light headed looking at them all. I looked back at the destroyed camp, my vision seeing some of the campers patrolling, looking more like soldiers rather than campers. It felt all too familiar, as something similar happened back when...Thalia's tree was poisoned in my camp. Only it was a lot worse here. I nearly tripped over the corner of a very large grave and feel into the water, but I keep myself up with my telekinesis, saving myself from Poseidon trying to tear me apart. I breathed a sigh of relief and felt my eyes wonder to the name on the large tombstone. My eyes widened, not believing what I saw. Chiron. That was the name I saw etched on the large tombstone before me. I fell to my knees in shock, wishing that it simply wasn't true. If this was the future, then it had to absolutely be the worst timeline possible. Eventually I stood up and continued to look at the graves, trying to and hoping I failed to find the names of people I cared about. Eventually, I came across a name I didn't recognize and thought was unique. I raised an eyebrow. "Who the fuck is Will Solace?"
I heard some coughing behind me, and I turned around quicker than I probably needed to, only to find a sight that absolutely boggled my mind. Standing in front of me about ten feet away was Nico di Angelo, one of my boyfriends, and what looked like to be a younger version of Percy Jackson. The two of them were holding hands and Nico had a barely hidden glare leveled at me. I tried to hide the utter shock on my face. What. The. Fuck. What the fuck was going on? Why was Nico here and why was he holding hands with someone who looks like Percy? A quick look at the two of them answered a few questions going through my mind. For one, Nico looked older. He looked nearly sixteen and his face was matured more. His hair was also medium long, rather than long and down to his upper back like my Nico. Also, the expression on his face was something I'd never seen on the Nico I knew. He looked like he had been through a lot, lost quite a bit of people, and looked like he was just tired with the world. There was just some spark of joy and happiness in his eyes, though you had to look past a lot of heartache and darkness to see it. I felt his aura, and was surprised to feel it was significantly weaker than the Nico I knew. I almost raised my eyebrow at that. An older but weaker Nico? That was odd. I turned my gaze to the other boy he was holding hands with, still jarred to see he looks like Percy. Although, he looks like Percy when he was twelve back in my world. He looked to be about fourteen, which was significantly younger than how old my Percy looked. He also didn't have Percy's perfect tan, awesome man bun, and bright seagrean eyes. He kinda looked like a bargain bin Percy now that I thought about it. The older Nico looked at me with no recognition, killing any theory on this being the future. "...Will Solace was my late boyfriend." I could tell alternate Nico was angry, but he was trying to hide it. "Now who are you?"
I nearly lost my train of though hearing alternate Nico speak, as his voice was deeper and more mature than the Nico I knew. "Uh, I'm Zane Williams." I nearly added son of Zeus to my name, but I decided to wisely keep it hidden. I noted than even though Nico was now clearly older, I still towered above him. He was only about five foot six, which made me stand close to a head taller than he was a six foot, as I had grown an inch in the past two weeks. I guess even in another possible universe he was still short. I continued to speak after my introduction. "So, who are you two?" I asked, no small amount of curiosity filling my voice, even though I knew who Nico was.
The other one was the one that answered rather than alternate Nico, likely noticing that his boyfriend was angry. "Oh, I'm Aiden Walker, and that's my boyfriend, Nico di Angelo. I'm the son of Nemesis and he's the son of Hades. Nice to meet you." The son of Nemesis held out a hand, which I took, careful not to break his bones. Aiden was about five foot eight, standing a couple of inches taller than alternate Nico and nearly came up to my chin. He was rather light and skinny looking, not even having half my frame. Seriously, he looked like a clone of early Percy, just taller and older looking. And alternate Nico looked relatively similar, although I think he has nothing on my Nico in terms of attractiveness. Once we stopped shaking hands, Aiden took the moment to ask a question. "So, you new here? I haven't exactly seen you here before." Aiden asked me with a raised eyebrow and a questioning gaze.
I almost said no in reflex since I've been at my camp for three years, but I was able to catch myself before I did. I nodded, trying to look clueless. "Uh, yeah. Just arrived today. I was just surprised at how all rundown the buildings look. And...all the graves." I went silent, looking at the several rows of what were dead demigods. I felt a little relieved, knowing that this wasn't my future thanks to the differences in alternate Nico. I turned back to the couple, which was honestly weird for me. I wasn't used to seeing Nico hold hands with anyone other than me, and it irritated me a little bit. I crushed the irritation immediately, knowing it was stupid. "What exactly happened here? Why are there so many graves?" I nearly asked what had happened to Chiron, but since I was supposed to be new, I held my tongue. I wasn't supposed to even know Chiron existed.
Alternate Nico immediately looked pained at the question and looked at me, now with an unhidden glare. "That's something you should probably ask someone else." I nearly jumped in surprise at alternate Nico's tone, not used to hearing someone with Nico's voice speak to me in such a way. Hell, if it was me hearing him a few months ago o would have probably gotten really angry. Alternate Nico didn't elaborate on why I should ask someone else, but simply changed the subject as quick as possible. "Have you had a tour of the camp yet? And what was the name of the satyr who brought you here?" Alternate Nico's tone was clipped and rather cold, being relatively unfriendly. He was probably pissed about what I said about that Will Solace guy I mentioned earlier, especially if he was his dead boyfriend.
I shrugged, looking like I didn't know what he was talking about. But inwardly I was panicking. Shit, I didn't know of any of the satyrs in this world. If anything, Grover might not even exist, and he's the only satyr whose name I knew in my universe! I just decided to make things up. "I didn't get brought here by a satyr...or however you say it." I pronounced the word 'satyr' wrong on purpose. "I just found this place." Both alternate Nico and Aiden looked at me with confusion and surprise, so I thought of something to placate them. "My mother told me about this place. She said when I was old enough that my father told me to come here. Was not what I was expecting." Hopefully that was enough to throw them off the real reason, even though the real reason would sound like complete asinine to them.
Aiden shrugged and alternate Nico didn't look like he particularly cared about my answer. "Well that's pretty odd, not going to lie. But I guess stranger things have happened before, especially with this world we live in..." The son of Nemesis said that under his breath more than to me, but I heard him perfectly fine. He looked back from the ground to me. "Well you need to get the tour if you haven't had it already. Come on, follow us and I'll get someone to give you one." Alternate Nico looked at Aiden in annoyance, like he really didn't want to leave the cemetery, but he didn't speak any objections. I nodded at Aiden's words, still noticing how he and Nico were holding hands. I reached didn't like that, and it weirded me out. Although, I knew there was nothing I could do about it, since the reason I was irritated was stupid and they wouldn't believe me either way. I followed both Aiden and alternate Nico to the camp, still not believing how the camp looked destroyed. How had this even happened. We walked past a couple of solder that were on patrol, the two of them looking absolutely miserable. Even, Aiden looked off in one direction and called out a name. "Hey, Harper!" The son of Nemesis called at a group of people working on something, and one of them turned around to look at Aiden.
The person who walked over could only be described as familiar looking. She looked to be about twenty years old, with long black hair and some black eyeliner. She looked rather on the goth side, wearing darker clothes and she had sheathed daggers on her belt. She was about five foot seven, slightly shorter than Aiden and much shorter than me. If I was attracted to women, I would have probably said she was one of the hottest people I'd ever seen, but I was not interested in that regard. She looked rather intimidating, with a slight scowl on her face. She looked at Aiden with a raised eyebrow. When I looked at her eyes, who I saw surprised me slightly. Her left eye was an icy blue, only being slightly dimmer than my own, but her right eye was dead and grey. She must have been blind in that eye then. "You need something, Aiden?" Her voice was mature and deeper, but not too deep as to sound unfeminine. Her aura felt similar to Aiden, so likely another child of Nemesis. Her eyes fell upon me. "Who is this?"
Aiden answered for me. "This is Zane Williams. He's new here and hasn't had a tour of the camp yet. Can you take care of that? Me and Nico were at the cemetery..." Aiden trailed off, looking at alternate Nico, who looked rather irritated. I guess he really didn't like being pulled away from his dead boyfriend's grave to help some dude who unknowingly insulted him. I don't blame him, no matter how weird this situation was. The girl I assumed was Harper didn't answer Aiden, and simply looked at me with an analytical gaze. Now that I got a better look at her, she kinda reminded me of...Thalia. I felt irritation fill my person, both from the reminder and from the suspicious gaze upon Harper's face. I tried to keep a glare I could feel rising off my face, knowing it would simply make the situation worse. Harper's eyes briefly fell upon Thymos, which hung at my belt, and widened slightly. She quickly hid the surprise and her regular, scowling expression. Aiden looked at Harper in confusion, who had been in silence for several seconds. "Uh, Harper?"
Harper snapped out of her silence and addressed Aiden. Her scowling expression melted away into a lighter and kinder one. "Yeah, I can take care of that for you Aiden. You and Nico get back to what you were doing. I'll take care of this." Aiden nodded at Harper's words, him and alternate Nico leaving immediately afterwards. Harper looked back to me, her scowling expression not returning but her kind expression fading. She had a carefully crafted expression of neutrality. "You're Zane Williams, right? I'm Harper Pierce, daughter of Nemesis. Aiden said you haven't had a tour yet? Who was the satyr who brought you to camp?" She looked kind of annoyed when she said the last part, but surprisingly not at me. I guess over here in this universe satyrs were supposed to give the tours, not demigods.
I slightly cursed, wishing Aiden had stayed around to explain this shit to her. "Yeah, I haven't had the tour yet. And there was no satyr who brought me to camp." She looked surprised at my words, her surprised face being the same as Aiden's was earlier. I guess they were siblings or something, which I should have worked out earlier due to their shared parentage. "Yeah, my mother told me about this place. She said my father would have me come here when I was old enough. So no satyr involved, whatever that means." I lied, trying to sound like I didn't know what was going on.
Harper's suspicious gaze returned and lingered for a few seconds, before fading away and she shrugged. "Guess your father cares about you or something." She sounded suspiciously jealous for a second as she spoke, but it faded away fairly quickly. She looked back to me, a raised eyebrow clear on her face. "Who is your divine parent exactly? I don't know of too many gods who would be willing to break the Ancient Laws to speak with their children directly, much less help them to camp." I panicked slightly, knowing I couldn't just say Zeus without bringing up a whole list of complications and problems. Harper continued. "You do know about the whole gods and monsters thing right? Do I need to show you the documentary? I wonder if it got destroyed too..." Harper said the last part more to herself, but I heard her clearly. I guess this place really did get attacked or something.
I nodded. "Yeah, I know about the whole divine thing. My mom explained it to me before I left home." Flashes of my mothers painful death came to mind, a familiar thought when I spoke about her. I continued to speak, trying to not think about my mothers demise. "Also got attacked by a giant cannibal dude on the way up here. He called himself a Laestrygonian or something. Whatever the hell that means." I did a fake shrug, about to answer her earlier question. "As to who my father is, I have no idea. My own mom didn't know who he was, she just got some instructions on what to do once I came of age after I was born. She barely even believes the whole divine thing herself."
Harper, surprisingly, believed my story apparently, or she was just really good at hiding that she didn't. "That's a rather odd origin story if I'm being honest, but stranger things have happened, especially recently." Harper's tone turned darker as she finished her sentence, alluding to something else that happened. She turned around and motioned for me to follow her. "Well, come on then. I don't have all day and we need to get you settled in after the tour." I nodded at her words. We began a very similar tour to the one I had been through with Clarisse over three years ago, Harper introducing me to several buildings I already knew, however there were several things missing from it, as accounting for several buildings that were gone. After we had seen the cabins, Harper turned to me as we walked. "Are you sure you don't know your divine parent? It's kind of important, as it's how we distribute campers into cabins around here." I shrugged, not really answering her. "You have no idea at all? Well, you're really tall and muscular, so maybe a son of Ares?"
I blinked. Was she hitting on me? The only people that point out my physique back home were Taylor and Nico, and I'm dating both of them. It was kind of weird being hit on by a female, much less an adult one. I decided to call her out on it. "Um, don't you think your a little old to be saying something like that to me? I didn't take you for a cradle robber." Harper's face went slack for a second and I continued. "And plus, I'm taken already. I don't think my significant others would take very kindly to that."
Harper's face immediately scrunched up and her face turned red. I could tell she was resisting the urge to smack me. "What the hell gave you that idea!? I just said you were muscular. Not anything else." Oh. I nearly cringed, remembering how I had taken her words. Was I really that socially inept that I thought any sort of bodily complements meant physical attraction? Harper continued. "Plus, I already have a boyfriend, so why the hell would I try to go for someone else?" I cringed again, my own face turning red for my own misinterpretation of the situation. Harper's voice then became shrill, offense clear on her face, "And I'm only sixteen, you look even older than I am! How old did you think I was!?" Wow, I really fucked this whole thing up now, didn't I?
I paused for a second, trying to think of something that wouldn't offend her further and worsen this situation even more, "Uh, I thought you were twenty. I mean, you look way older than sixteen." Ah shit, I just realized how that sounded after it came out of my mouth, and I decided to try and mend the situation. "Oh, uh, I didn't mean for it to sound like that. You don't look old or anything?" I cringed again at my own tone, wishing I could dig into the ground and hide. I remembered Harper's question. "Oh, and I'm only fourteen. How old did you think I was?"
Harper's eyes bugged out of her skull and her jaw went slightly agape. "You're only fourteen!? You look like a grown man!" She seemed to have forgotten my word from earlier, which was good for me and possibly my manhood if she was that kind of girl. "Look at your arms! What the hell did your mom feed you!?" I looked down at my own arm, noticing the defined and ripped muscle surrounding the bone. I knew I had definitely bulked up over the past few much but I never really noticed how much. Harper caught herself in her disbelief. "Uh, sorry. Didn't mean to freak out like that." She decided to change to subject. "So, you said your mom send you here when you turned a certain age. What is she like?"
My expression darkened. "She's...she's dead." Harper's face fell when the words came out of my mouth, but I continued to speak. "I found her in the process of getting killed by monsters. Eaten, actually. I think it was those Laestrygonian things I ran into on the way here. With her dying breath, she told me about the camp and about what my father was. I don't know how long ago it was, but I've been searching for the camp ever since." I looked down at the ground, stopping in the middle of the camp. I didn't even have to act as if the pain was fresh, as I could still feel it even after all these years. "It still feels fresh. I couldn't save her because I wasn't good enough, and they only targeted her because of me and my existence. I feel like a failure." My grip in my hand tightened, and I had to actively make sure I didn't have lightning crackle from my hand.
But surprisingly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back, seeing that it was Harper with a sympathetic look on her face. "I..." She looked like she was reaching for the words within her head, but coming up with nothing. Eventually, she found them. "I know how it feels. To lose someone." She elaborated. I saw a different range of emotions on her face flicker. Sadness, anger and grief all at once. "My father died a long time ago, forcing me to come and live here. I searched for his killer for years, doing things I honestly regret quite a lot in my search. I even sacrificed my eye to my mother for it." She pointed at her grey eye, her tone becoming angry once her mother came into the picture. "Whenever I finally found the killer, it turned out to be my brother. He..." She had difficulty speaking, but she eventually forced the words out. "He killed my father because he used to be abusive. My father loved my mother, but when she couldn't be there and abandoned us, he took it out on me and my brother. While he did get better and recovered as a person, my brother never forgave him for what he had done. He killed him." She started to look angry, her own grip tightening. "It's all my mothers fault. If she hadn't left my father, none of this would have happened." She noticed that I was still looking at her, and a red tint came to her skin. "Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to tell you my whole life story." She sighed. "I've just been holding it in for a long time."
I shook my head. "It's okay, don't worry about it. If you don't want me to tell anyone, then I won't." She nodded her head in thanks, and turned around to continue to tour. After going over a few more cabins and buildings, I eventually spoke up. "What did you do to him?" Harper looked confused, so I elaborated. "Your brother, I mean. You said you hunted your fathers killer for years, and you finally found him, only for it to be your brother. What did you do to him when you found him?" Harper was silent for a few seconds, and I then realized I probably overstepped a boundary. "Hey, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. It's none of my business and I shouldn't have even asked. Sorry about that." I tried to sound as apologetic as possible.
Harper shook her head. "Don't worry, it's fine. It's just something I don't really like to talk about." She, like a woman, proceeded to talk about it. "It was last year and I was on a quest. It was a long and important one, but when I found him, I swore to kill him for what he did. I even tried to very recently, but he nearly killed me. I'm still not sure why he didn't, but I guess that's something I'll ask him next time I see him." She sighed as we walked through the broken down camp, her eyes trailing to Thymos on my belt. She pointed at the weapon. "I forgot to ask this earlier, but where exactly did you get that weapon? I'm sure you can tell it's not normal." Oh shit. I looked down at Thymos, feeling the chaotic energy steam off of it with my aura sense and I tried to think of a believable story.
"Uh...well, when my mother died, she told me my father had left it for me before he had to leave her." I felt bad using my dead mother as a shield for my identity, but somethings just had to be done. "Apparently it's made out of some material like Heavenly Diamond or something. The note that was attached to it was rather smudged and unreadable." I saw her gaze shift into one of suspicion, as if she didn't belie my story. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Why do you ask? What's so special about it?" I knew exactly what was special about it, since it can erase mortal souls and permanently kill gods, but I wasn't sure if she knew that.
Harper looked at the weapon for a few more seconds with a furrowed brow, before she dropped it. "Nothing. I've never even heard of Heavenly Diamond before. Maybe it was something created by your divine father, whoever it is?" I could tell in her tone and from her emotions thanks to my telepathy that she was lying. She felt irritated and suspicious, and she wasn't doing the best job in hiding it. She continued to walk, ushering me behind her. "Come on, then. We have lunch soon and our leader is going to address the camp again at the pavilion. Let's go." Harper had shown me the pavilion on the tour, which had be run down and damaged, like the rest of the camp. I nodded at her words and followed behind the daughter of Nemesis. As we walked to the pavilion, I saw my own cabin, looking very run down and untouched for a long time. I wonder if there is a king sized bed somewhere in there. Eventually, the pavilion came into view and I could see maybe thirty campers sitting down at their respective tables for their cabin. There was maybe at most thirty five, which wasn't even half the one hundred plus at my own camp. What the hell had happened here? Harper turned to me. "Alright, you're going to be with the Hermès cabin until you get claimed, so go ahead and take a seat with them. I'm off to my own table." I nodded at her words, feeling very uncomfortable with the prospect of sitting at a different table other than mine.
Sitting at the Hermès felt weird and I didn't like it one bit. All of the other Hermès kids stared at me oddly, noticing how different I probably looked from them. The only ones who didn't look at me with odd looks were what I recognized as the Stoll twins, now much older than they were back on my world. The looked nearly eighteen, apparently as old as I looked according to Harper. I hated sitting with people I didn't know and trust, which was probably why I never sat alone without my friends back at my camp. I had my friends never follow the rule of sitting with their cabin, and Chiron, knowing he could never enforce it to me or my friends, had stopped trying. Speaking of the centaur, I wonder who replaced him as Activities Director over here, now that he's...no longer with us. I spotted a figure sitting at a familiar table, more specifically the Dionysus table. The only guy there was some overweight, middle aged bearded guy in a Hawaiian shirt sipping a drink from a wine glass. Wait. Wine glass? Diet Coke can on the table? Impossible. I reached out with my aura sense, only to be stunned when I found out that the middle aged over weight guy was Dionysus. I tried to hide my shock in the drastic difference on his appearance, noting he looks absolutely nothing like my Dionysus. This Dionysus was so...ugly. However, my shock would soon be blown out of the water, as two figures walked up on the main platform of the pavilion that made my jaw drop.
Standing about six foot two on the main pavilion, was an older version of my best friend Percy Jackson. I couldn't even believe my eyes. His skin was the same tanned tone I had been familiar with, although his hair was now at its original style back when we saved the world together by returning the lightning bolt to my father. That alone sent me for a loop. Percy's dope ass man bun was gone? He was taller than I was now, only slightly less muscular. He wore the signature Camp Half-Blood T-Shirt, along with a pair of khaki shorts and a pair of dark blue sandals. He looked very similar to my Percy, only slightly older looking, as my Percy looked to be around seventeen despite his age, and taller and with a different hair cut. To alternate Percy's left, was another very familiar face. Annabeth Chase. Only she, unlike Percy, looked very similar to my own version, just taller and older. She even wore the exact same outfit, only her signature dagger was different and not the same as the one she had in my universe. To my immense shock, she and Percy were holding hands. Percy and Annabeth get together over here? I felt a genuine smile build on my face, unable to hide it at the sight of them two together. I knew that the two liked each other, especially after their show at Atlas' mountain two weeks ago. I was going to make sure this happened back where I'm from.
Alternate Percy, his signature smile on his face slightly strained and tired, addressed the campers. "Well, good afternoon today, everyone. Or at least everyone currently here, as some people are still out doing their camp duties." All alternate Percy got was silence, which really reflected the state of mind of the campers here. He didn't let this affect him. "Repairs are going good. We just got the Athena cabin mostly repaired, although there wasn't much of the library would could salvage." Alternate Percy said with regret, which also showed on alternate Annnabeth's face as well. "No monsters were spotted at the border of camp so far today, so that's at least a positive, right guys?" Alternate Percy asked the campers getting no response. This time, Percy visibly sighed and then continued to speak. "On another bit of news, no new campers today, so we can skip over that bit." As soon as he said this, everyone looked at me, having noticed my appearance and the fact they haven't seen me before. I looked around anxiously, noticing Harper was looking at me with a raised eyebrow. I forgot I haven't spoken to this Percy yet, who was the leader of the camp. I bet everyone, including her was wondering why I hadn't spoken to alternate Percy before being allowed in. I even saw Aiden sitting beside Harper, looking at me with a bit of confusion. Alternate Percy looked at me, his familiar sea green eyes piercing my soul. "I guess I was wrong, we do have a new camper today. Stand up and introduce yourself, man." Alternate Percy's tone was casual and carefree, not really noting how I had gotten into camp without speaking to him first.
I stood up, trying as hard as possible to not be awkward. It was rather difficult when you didn't have the reputation I was used to having at camp. As soon as I stood, I noticed that alternate Percy's eyes shifted to my waist, lingering on Thymos for a few seconds. His eyes narrowed, as if he'd seen Heavenly Diamond before, like Harper's had earlier. They quickly went back to normal once he noticed I was staring at him, but alternate Annabeth's eyes behind the son of Poseidon did not. She continued to state at the weapon in suspicion, like a true daughter of Athena. I guess some things never change, huh? I coughed, trying to find my voice. "Um...I'm Zane Williams. Son of...uh, somebody, I guess." My words got a couple of chuckles out of the campers, but most of the people remained silent, looking at me with mostly uncaring eyes. Especially alternate Nico, who I found out of the corner of my eye sitting at his table, looking at me with a face of barely hidden dislike. I was absolutely not used to that expression on the son of Hades' face, and didn't like it one bit, especially directed at me. "Nice to meet you all." The campers halfheartedly welcomed me to the camp, prompting me to finally sit down. Alternate Percy returned to announcing, however, he and alternate Annabeth's eyes would consistently linger on me for long periods of time. What about this Heavenly Diamond shit tipped them off so much?
Once lunch was over, I quickly followed Harper and approached her, intent on finding out what exactly had happened to the camp, and why everyone was looking at Thymos so weirdly. Yeah, I know it's an incredibly powerful weapon that can destroy souls and kill gods, but I didn't think it would make some people look at me like I had just said 'God doesn't exist' at a Sunday service. I tapped her on the shoulder as she was walking back to camp, which at first prompted a look of annoyance from her, but it faded into a look of resignation when she saw me. I guess she was expecting more questions or something. "Zane, right? What is it exactly?" How did she not clearly remember my name? Yeah I know we just met, but you told me about how you wanted to kill you brother after the tour you took me on. How did you forget my name?
I didn't bother to ask her about any of this, as I knew it would probably just offend her or something else like that. "Yeah, I've been holding it in for awhile now and Nico didn't want to tell me earlier. What exactly happened to the camp?" Harper sighed, knowing a question like this was coming. I needed to know, since I hadn't been clued in whatsoever about what happened, and my curiosity was getting out of control. "Why are all the builds damaged and destroyed. Why is everyone sad and depressed about everything? What was the deal with all of those graves at the lake?" I nearly asked why there was way less campers than before, but I rephrased my question into my third one, knowing I shouldn't have been able to know there was more campers beforehand.
She was silent for a second, but she eventually answered me. "Well, I guess you can obviously tell it wasn't always like this, with how everyone is acting and everything." She sighed again, obviously having trouble finding the right words. "Well, to put it simply, we were attacked. An army of monsters did this. They were led by...my brother, you know the one I mentioned earlier, and three other evil demigods who were being manipulated by our enemy. The led the army of monsters, along with some help from two other demigods, into our camp and they did this. They killed a good chunk of our campers, including Nico's boyfriend, and...Chiron, our old Activities Director." I could hear the pain in her voice as she spoke about Chiron, nearly rivaling the pain in her voice when she spoke about her brother earlier. "He was like a father to me, to all of us in camp." She shook in anger, looking down at the ground. "My brother and those bastard evil demigods of his killed him, then they started executing demigods who wouldn't join them." I didn't know what to say to that. I couldn't even find the words to say anything. I knew no amount of pathetic 'I'm sorrys' would help her or make her feel better. Harper quickly composed herself and she looked at me. "Sorry, it's still pretty fresh."
I shook my head. "Hey, you don't need to apologize to me. I know how it feels to lose people, but not on that level your talking about." I felt guilty even bringing it up, knowing it had to pull memories out of her mind she likely desperately wanted to keep locked away. "I'm sorry for even bringing it up. I know it's probably painful for not just you, but for everyone asking what had happened here." I closed my eyes and shook my head. Before I could say anything else, a new aura I hadn't felt before approached us. It felt incredibly odd, almost as if it's an amalgamation of all the gods in one aura. I looked at the source of the aura, only to find a man approaching us. He looked to be around nineteen or twenty, and he was dressed like a modern cowboy. He had on a brown authentic duster, complete with a very oddly decorated revolver on his belt, which was also that of a cowboys. He had a pair of sunglasses on his face, hiding his eyes completely from sight, and a dark brown cowboy hat on his head. He walked up to Harper with a smirk on his face, paying no mind to me.
"Goth girl, are we having Capture The Flag this week or what?" The modern cowboy looking guy asked the daughter of Nemesis as he approached her, having a distinct southern accent in his voice. When he stood beside me, he stood at least a couple of inches shorter than me, and only had a medium build, but the way he carried himself and his odd aura told me that this guy was absolutely not a pushover in the slightest. "I'm getting tired of all the other boring shit we've being doing the past two weeks ever since we got back. And even before we left we were doing boring things! So can we please have some fun this week and do something at least a little exciting?"
Harper rolled her eyes at the cowboy guy's words, looking less sad and depressed as soon as he had started speaking earlier. "No, Talon. We're not having it this week." She facepalmed, hiding a slight smile I could see creeping up on her face. "I swear, you ask me that shit every single day. 'Hey, goth girl! Are we having capture the flag even though you've told me no like five hundred fucking times already? No? God fucking dammit, goth girl!'" Harper's voice took on a poor mimicry of Talon's southern accent as she spoke.
Talon, took offense to her mocking of his accent. "Hey, for the record, I absolutely do not sound like that at all." He held up a finger as he spoke. Another finger came up. "And secondly, I do not ask you that every single day. You're exaggerating there." Harper looked at the modern cowboy dude with a deadpan expression and a raised eyebrow. Talon stammered a bit. "U-Uh, okay maybe I do, but it's because you might change your mind every day, so I have to make sure just in case you do." Harper's deadpan expression did not let. Talon shook his head. "Ah, fuck off, goth girl. You just don't understand my love for Capture the Flag." His face shifted, or at lest his expression did. I couldn't see his eyes. "And if we're not doing Capture the Flag, what about Pegasus riding? Snowflake needs to be taken out and ridden at least once a day otherwise he'll get a little cranky." Wait, this guy had a Pegasus named Snowflake? I snickered a little bit at his Pegasus' name. He turned to me and scoffed. "What? You got a problem with my Pegasus' nam-?" He paused, and while I couldn't see his eyes, I could see that his head was titled down towards my Heavenly Diamond Morningstar, Thymos. His jaw went a little agape for a split second before it returned to normal. This guy could hide his emotions very well.
I raised an eyebrow, visibly noting his slight pause. "You okay, man?" I looked down at the cowboy with my arms crossed, my arm muscles bulging slightly. "You paused for a second there." Maybe I could finally find out what was up with these people and their reactions to my Heavenly Diamond weapon.
Talon quickly recovered with skill shook his head. "Yeah, I'm alright. Just noticing I've never seen you here before. We don't really get that many new campers here, so I guess you kinda just surprised me." The cowboy said with a fake smirk that would be difficult for most people to determine was real or fake, but consider his and the other's reactions to my weapon, it was easy for me. He turned back to Harper. "Ah, well, don't worry about me and Snowflake. I'll take him out for a ride by myself later." He looked back to me. "What was your name again, kid?" I bristled slightly being called kid, but I told it to him anyway and didn't say anything. "Zane, huh? Interesting name. Anyway, I got some shit I need to do and it ain't going to get itself done, so I gotta get to it. Later, y'all." Talon started to walk away, however, I noticed him subtly signal for Harper to follow him. It was difficult to spot, but thanks to my enhanced senses, I was able to spot it.
Harper chuckled at Talon's words, obvious being fake and filled with nervousness. "Well, Zane. That reminds me, I also got a list of shit I need to get done, too. You need to get fully settled in, so go talk to Percy and do whatever he says, since you haven't seen him yet for some reason. I need to go." I nodded at her words, having absolutely no intent on following what she said in the slightest. No, I was going to follow her, and eavesdrop on whatever they had to say about me and my weapon, as they were going to obviously go do that. If not that, probably have sex at least, as these two were obviously fucking. I pretended to walk in the direction of the big house, making sure to follow Harper with my aura sense as she followed after Talon. When sensing both of their auras, I felt two weird things about each of them. One, Harper's aura was definitely strong as hell for a daughter of Nemesis. Most Nemesis children were rather on the weak side, except for maybe Ethan Nakamura. And two, Talon's aura fluctuated in strength constantly. Sometimes it felt only significantly stronger than a regular human, and other times it became nearly twice as strong as Harper. It constantly switched strength levels like a seesaw. Eventually, when both Harper and Talon stopped and were near each other, I super sped over towards their directions, seeing them talking behind a cabin. I leaned up against a wall close to them and listened.
"That's fucking Heavenly Diamond! I know it is!" I heard Talon yell out, clear anger in his voice. Okay, this material was apparently really shady, if everyone over here hated it so much. "It's as clear as day that this Zane guy is some kind of spy of sorts! I mean, who else besides Ouranos' people have fucking Heavenly Diamond!?" Ouranos? The sky primordial? From what secret Greek history class told me, Kronos castrated him, cut him into a million tiny pieces with his scythe, and then took his position as king of the universe. Was he back and an enemy of the camp or the Olympians in this universe? Would he show up in mine?
Harper spoke to Talon, trying to be the voice of reason or devil's advocate. "We don't know that he's a spy, Talon. For all we know he could be telling the truth about his father giving him the Heavenly Diamond." She shook her head, apparently defending me. "I mean, how fucking stupid would Ouranos have to be to send a spy carrying a weapon made out of the same material as his spear. It doesn't make any sense." I honestly appreciated Harper's defense of me, feeling my heart warming up to her, despite looking just like Thalia.
I could see Talon shaking his head. "That doesn't make any sense either, goth girl. What kind of fucking god would give something as powerful and rare as Heavenly Diamond to their child, especially one who was just coming to camp and hasn't had any training yet?" He did something akin to a combination of a growl and a sigh. "He has to be a spy for Ouranos. Only he would give something like that to an underling. And he's one of the only people to be able to even harvest the Diamond in the first place. There's only one place in the universe where Heavenly Diamond can be located right now, and that's Mount Othrys. The Olympians have had that place completely locked down ever since the war ended, so it only makes sense that Ouranos gave him that weapon."
I wanted to hear Harper to defend me again, to tell this cowboy looking motherfucker that I wasn't a spy for some dead primordial god. But that wasn't the case. "Maybe you're right, Talon. It does make sense." What? I had never even met a primordial god in my entire life, much less a dead one. Well, maybe he wasn't dead over here, based on what I'm hearing. "Whatever the truth might be able this kid, we need to tell Matt. He's the one to go to for stuff like this, and he'll know what to do." Who is Matt? I thought Percy was the leader of this camp. Is this guy even stronger than this older Percy must have become? Harper and Talon walked off, presumably to find this Matt guy. I was about to follow hem, but a familiar voice stopped me.
"There you are, man." I turned my head, finding alternate Percy walking towards me with his signature smile on his face. I looked behind him, finding alternate Nico following behind the son of Poseidon. "You vanished after lunch and I couldn't find you. But Nico over there was able to help me with his shadow traveling. I gotta get you settled in." Alternate Percy pointed back to alternate Nico, who nodded at alternate Percy's words. Alternate Percy held out his hand. "I'm Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and the Activities Director here at camp. You said your name was Zane Williams back at the pavilion, right?" I nodded at alternate Percy's words, still not believing I'm speaking to an older version of Percy. I reached out with my aura sense so I could get a feel on how much stronger he had gotten, but I was surprised to find that he was significantly weaker than the Percy I knew. I could feel quite a large amount of potential within him, but not much of it was realized, unlike my Percy. Strange, someone else that I knew that was weaker but older. "Well, until you get claimed, you'll have to stay with the Hermès cabin. You have any idea who your divine parent is?"
I shook my head, obviously about to tell a massive lie for the millionth time today. "No, my mother told me she didn't know which god my father was before she died." Alternate Percy's eyes widened when I revealed the death of my mother so casually, and alternate Nico looked surprised, his own eyes widening a fraction. "I've always been really strong, so maybe that can point to my divine parentage?"
Alternate Percy was silent for a couple of seconds, still in shock about the death of my mother, I guess. "Well, every demigod here has some level of superhuman strength, so I'm not exactly sure that would help you figure it out. And sorry about your mom." I nodded in thanks at alternate Percy's words, actually feeling a little bit better from his words. "Well, anyway, someone gave you the tour of the camp, right?" I nodded. "Good, so I guess we can skip that part. You know about the whole divine world? You know, monsters, demigods, gods, etc." I nodded again, getting a little irritated. I needed to follow Talon and Harper so I could eavesdrop on them some more. "Alright, good on that, too. Didn't want to have to bust out the orientation video. You know, I've never actually watched the whole thing." He said that more to Nico that to me. He turned to back to me, easygoing smile still on his face. He continued to talk about some other things about the camp, rules, patrols, curfew, camp duties, whether or not I'd be year round, etc. It was taking several minutes, and I was getting really annoyed. I needed to follow Harper and Talon. "Alright, well since you know where the Hermès cabin should be, or at least where they're staying now, you should be able to get there by yourself. I'll leave you alone now, man." I nodded at his words, thankful that he was finally leaving and I could go follow Talon and Harper now.
"Thank you." I called to alternate Percy as he was walking away, alternate Nico behind him. I turned around and started walking into the direction of where Talon and Harper's auras had gone off to, only to run smack into the chest of someone else. "Ah, sorry about that, man." I looked at the person I had just run directly into, now finally noting they didn't budge an inch when I did. He was slightly taller than me, standing at six foot one. His build was also impressive as well, as he looked to be about two hundred pounds and all of it rippled muscle. He was handsome, almost looking like some kind of vampire in a way. He had a small scar on his chin, although it was very noticeable. His hair was on the shorter side and spiked up. He wore some kind of Greek armor, similar to the armor that we wore during Capture The Flag, only without a helmet and a brown cape that hung from his back. He also had a very peculiar necklace around his neck I felt a strange aura from. His aura felt very similar to an average demigod at camp, however, simply from the way he carried himself, I could tell that was not the case. He carried himself like an individual who had fought a lot of people and almost always come out on top. I knew what that was like, as I also carried myself in a similar way. I saw his brown eyes dart to my Heavenly Diamond Morningstar and narrow. I nearly sighed in exasperation of it happening. Why was this weapon drawing the attention of literally everybody? "You alright, dude?" I asked the unnamed demigod.
The demigod caught himself looking and immediately stopped. "Yeah, I'm okay. Sorry I ran into you. I wasn't paying attention." Well, I feel like that was me, but if he was taking the blame I wouldn't stop him. "My name's Matthias Beckett, son of Hercules. But people just call me Matt." This was the guy that Harper and Talon were talking about, the guy who they were going to tell I had a Heavenly Diamond weapon. Matt held out a hand, which I grabbed and shook. I could tell simply from his handshake that he wasn't a regular demigod. He was strong, but he was obviously holding back on the grip, just like I was. "Who are you? I haven't seen you around here before."
I feel like that's been said way too much to me today. "Name's Zane Williams. I'm not sure who I'm the son of, and yes, I'm new here." I didn't really like the way he was looking at me. It wasn't exactly unfriendly, but it definitely wasn't welcoming. Like that of a police interrogator in a crime show or something. "The leader, his name was Percy or something, just introduced me into the camp and told me to go find the Hermès cabin, so I need to go do that. Nice meeting you, Matt." I started to walk off away from the son of Hercules, knowing that Harper and Talon had likely told him about my weapon. I needed to get away from this guy as fast as possible. However, o felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Wait." The son of Hercules said. I resisted the urge to knock his hand away from my shoulder, because that would just make everything worse. Matt pointed at the coast off the edge of the camp and at the beach. "Can the two of us talk in private over there. Just me and you?" Dammit. From how Harper and Talon had spoke about me earlier, I knew he was going to grill me on apparently being Ouranos spy for the camp or something, which I wasn't. But why was he trying to take me away from the camp? I found that very weird. Before I could say anything, I started to notice we were being surrounded by campers. Everyone I had seen at the Pavilion and more that must have been away, I quickly found myself being surrounded by almost fifty demigods. Quite a bit of them had fear in their eyes, and even more had anger and hatred, which greatly annoyed me. What had I done to them? Matt raised his eyebrow at me. "Well?"
I didn't immediately response, continuing to look at all the campers around me. I felt a great urge to blast them all away with telekinesis but I suppressed it. I knew unnecessary violence was going to make things worse, so no killing anyone just yet. I saw Alternate Percy, who walked up behind Matt, looking rather confused. However, Harper and Talon came up from behind him and Harper whispered something in his ear. Alternate Percy's look of confusion vanished, and it turned into a look of understanding. He stepped back and allowed Harper and Talon to stand behind Matt. I looked at Harper with a pleading look, almost as if I was asking for help. I had opened up to her about my mother, and she opened up to me about her brother, so I thought the two of us would be cool. However, it seems we weren't, as she just crossed her arms and glared at me. I felt a spike of anger and I tightened my grip into a fist. I glared at the daughter of Nemesis. "I opened up to you about my fucking dead mother, and you leave me to burn here? You fucking bitch." Okay, maybe I was more than a little irritated. I stepped forwards, not really sure what I was intending to do. However, I felt a force on my chest and I skidded back a few feet. Matt had his hand up, clearly having just pushed me back. A dangerous glare was on his face. I laughed at what had just happened, feeling a bit of my old bloodlust leak into my voice. "Dude, I wouldn't do that again if I were you." I glared at the son of Hercules, trying to keep a sadistic smirk down.
Matt continued to glare at me and he put his hand down. "Follow me to the beach. We need to talk. Now." Matt's tone was stern and serious, and he wasn't going to take any shit from me. However, I would have to admit, I was rather excited. When he pushed me, I could feel his aura flare to much higher levels. I hadn't had an actual fight that was fair and enjoyable since Hyperion, and maybe this guy could give it to me. Luke hadn't really counted as a fair fight, since he could have used his time stop to end me at any second. He just limited himself
I took great offense to Matt's tone and I felt a snarl build on my face. I glared at the son of Hercules, my entire body tensing. "Make me." At my words, I could feel the entire air of the camp shift. Everyone looked surprised and shocked at my words, as if they couldn't even believe what I had just said. Harper in particular, as her jaw as hanging open as she stared at me in shock. I felt emboldened by the response, as my entirely being felt pumped up. I didn't care about why everyone was suddenly against me. I wanted a fight.
Matt had been shocked at my response as well, just as much as everyone else had been, but he recovered first. His lips tightened and he sighed. "Look, man. I just want to talk. Can you come over there to the beach with me for like...five minutes? Please?" I felt the desire for a fight wane slightly with the son of Hercules' words. He was clearly trying to be diplomatic and I was the one being unreasonable. I sighed after a few seconds, agreeing to Matt's request. We walked over to the coast of the camp, the crowd immediately separating as we walked close to them. We stopped in front of the water on the long stretch of beach and faced each other. As soon as we stopped, Matt grabbed me by the shirt. His glare returned and he bared his teeth at me. "Alright, enough games. Tell me, spy, why did Ouranos send you?" My desire to fight returned with a vengeance at Matt's provocation.
I pushed him back a couple of feet, forcing him away from me. He looked surprised, and then it narrowed back into a glare. I glared right back at him. "What the fuck are you talking about?" I felt the anger of being turned on, the anger of being surrounded and the anger of the lack of knowledge about the whole situation burn through me. "Why the fuck did everyone surround me like that!? And why the fuck does everyone think I'm working for Ouranos!?" I was mad as hell and I was completely ready to bring the smack down on this bastard. What the hell had I done to him?
Matt scoffed, clearly throwing what I just said aside. "Don't even try to lie. You're not exactly hiding it." He pointed at my Heavenly Diamond Morningstar, Thymos, on my belt. I looked down at the weapon in confusion. "Heavenly Diamond is only something Ouranos can get his hands on or has access to! Only someone like him would give such a weapon to a spy." I glared at the son of Hercules, anger at this entire situation boiling through my veins. I was not a spy for Ouranos! I had never even met the fucker. I was silent at Matt's accusation, thinking on a way to try and convince him to back down. Matt glared at me more. "You don't want to tell the truth? Fine. You brought this on yourself." Matt blurred in my line of sight and slammed his fist into my face. I expected for the punch to do nothing, like most punches usually do, but this punch sent me flying across the beach, rolling in the sand as I landed. When I evenly stopped, I got on my knees, shaking in anger. Any thoughts of trying to end this peacefully went out the window after that, and it was time to get some payback.
"Brought this upon myself, huh?" I chuckled, anger coursing through me. I felt my cheek, noting that the attack had actually hurt. It even felt a little hot when I touched it. I felt excitement and an old bloodlust fill me. Maybe I could actually have a fight here. I zoomed back towards the son of Hercules, taking in the surprise on his face with no small satisfaction. I slammed my knee into his gut, creating a shockwave all around us that knocked up the sand. A blob of spit escaped Matt's mouth as he groaned in pain from my knee. "I could say the same about you!" I unleashed a small barrage of strike to his torso and face, small shockwaves being produced with each one. I then head butted him in the face. Matt grunted in pain as a small amount of blood escaped his nose. I then pulled my right arm back, unleashing a devastating right hook, creating a shockwave and launching him out into the ocean. Matt fell into the water and did not surface. "Hm." I grunted in disappointment. That was it? I got worked up over nothing. "All that bluster and he couldn't even defend himself. Whatever, I guess." I turned around and started walking back to the camp. Suddenly, I felt a massive burst of aura behind me. I turned around, only to see Matt and blown out of the water, creating an empty space on the ocean and had appeared back on the beach, a pissed off expression on his face. I grinned, noting his aura was far stronger now. "Guess this actually will be fun." Both me and Matt charged each other, creating shockwaves that blew up sand underneath our feet as we did so.
Both of us met each other in the middle of the beach, smashing into each other with incredible force. A massive shockwave was created as me and Matt trying to overpower one another, pushing against each other. The sand underneath us buckles and broke as we struggled. Eventually, I head butted him once again in the nose, drawing both blood and a grunt from the son of Hercules. I followed up with a hook to the liver, which downed Matt on one knee. I kneed him in the face, sending him flying back in the air. However, the son of Hercules somersaulted mid air and recovered with a landing and rushed me. He kicked me in the stomach, forcing me back and knocking the wind out of me. He delivered a left hook to my jaw, which staggered me and he tried to follow up with a kick to the head. I caught his attack and lifted him off the ground. I slammed him into the sand, creating another shockwave and blowing up more of the course, rough and irritating material. Matt spun on the ground and tried to trip me up, however, I jumped over his leg. Matt quickly stood up and attack me with a barrage of punches and kicks, which I met and blocked in return. The two of us traded blows for nearly a minute, with the two of of only landing hits sparingly. As we fought, I noted that his attacks were precise and thrown with skill, not the moves of a violent berserker. He was a skilled fighter, no doubt.
However, I had the advantage in this regard. I dodged under a strike from the son of Hercules,p and elbowed him in the stomach. Matt grunted in pain as a slight amount of blood escaped his mouth. Matt staggered back, clutching his torso, which allowed me to take the initiative. I unleashed a flurry of blows upon Matt, landing strike on his face and his torso. I drew my fist back, landing a strong uppercut on his chin. Blood escaped Matt's mouth as he flew into the air. I prepared to launch myself into the air after him, however, he grabbed his necklace in the air, which somehow transformed into something. I didn't get a good look at it before Matt recovered and charged me, but it looked like some kind of large white wooden club. Matt swung the weapon at me, prompting me to block the attack. However, the club slammed into my arm and I heard a sickening crunch. I felt a flash of pain, realizing it had come from my arm. It was bent at an odd angle and very obviously broken. I couldn't look at it very long, as Matt swung the club into my face, cracking and dislocating my jaw. I staggered back, feeling pain shoot through my jaw and my arm. I clutched my broken jaw as I took a knee in the sand. Matt looked at me with a glare as he held his club. "Have you had enough yet? Ready to surrender?" He held his club on his shoulder, as if it was an oversized baseball bat.
I scoffed, which kinda hurt with a broken jaw. I pulled my jaw back into place with a sickening crack, which made Matt flinch in surprise. My jaw healed in seconds, and I scoffed at the son of Hercules. "Please." I pulled my arm into place, setting the bone and allowing my healing factor to bring it back to full condition. Matt's expression morphed into one of shock as I stood up off the ground. "We've only just begun." Matt glared at me, before the wind picked up around him. I raised an eyebrow as he lifted off the ground and into the air, floating. He can fly as well? A small storm built up in the sky, one I didn't create and Matt raised his white club. Lightning struck the weapon and he pointed it at me. My eyes widened. This guy can also use lightning!? The lightning shot of his club towards me, the electric bolts surging in the air. I didn't even bother to avoid the attack, and simply raised my hand. The lightning made contact with me, however, it did nothing. I grabbed the lightning as it got close to me and poured my aura into it, strengthening it. I spun around and threw the lightning back to its sender, who looked completely shocked. He held up his club, blocking the lightning, but being forced back down to the ground as he did so. Time to take this battle to the next level.
I closed the distance in an instance, lightning surrounding my fists as I did. Matt's eyes widened as I appeared in front of him, and he was forced to block of barrage of lightning enhanced punches and kicks from me. He grunted in exertion as he did so, fighting off my many fast paced attacks. Matt jumped back, swing at me as he did so. I caught the club with both hands, grunting in exertion as well. I charged lightning into the weapon, allowing it to travel around the club and into Matt. He yelled in pain as lightning slammed into his arms and traveled throughout his torso, stunning him. I slammed a lightning encased fist into his cheek, shutting him up and knocking blood from his mouth. With his guard sufficiently dropped, I attacked him with another barrage of lightning based attacks. He grunted in pain as he was filled with lightning and struck by my blows, blood dripping from his nose and mouth. I kicked him away with a spinning heel kick, and quickly chased after him in the air to continue wailing on him. However, he summoned a burst of wind and released it in all directions. I walked through the wind as if it was nothing, surprising him. He summoned the wind under him, taking flight much like I could. He touched his white wooden club, which had held against my blows flawlessly, and all of his injuries vanished. A healing club? That was new. I raised an eyebrow. "Trying to run away?"
Matt didn't respond and simply just floated with the wind above me, as if he was thinking about his options. However, I wasn't just going to let him. I commanded the sky above to darken with a storm, once much larger and more power than Matt had summoned earlier. Lightning struck down in a flurry of bursts, taking Matt by surprise. He deftly dodging all of the lightning bolts called from the sky, however, he was now throughly distracted. I summoned balls of pressurized wind in my hands, sending them at the son of Hercules while he was unaware. He barely reacted to the first one, narrowing avoided being hit, but the second one collided with him. Small cuts and gashes appeared all of Matt's body, however most of it was absorbed by his armor. He hissed in pain, but a single touch to his club got rid of all the wounds. I narrowed my eyes before sending more blasts of wind at him. He did much better this time dodging them, so I decided to stop sending wind with one hand and send lightning instead. Combining both elements from my father, Matt could barely dodge them, having to use his club as a defensive tool on several occasions. Eventually, he got tired of being a floated target, so he threw his club at me like a throwing axe. The white club raced towards me with incredible speed, forcing me to avoid the weapon, only barely. However, Matt didn't let up. He dived after his club as soon as he threw it, so when it hit the ground and I avoided the throw, he was right in front of me grasping his club. He swung the weapon right into the right side of my face. I growled in pain from the attack as I skidded back. Matt tried to press the attack, however, I rose my hand and forced him back with my telekinesis. He grunted in surprise, but quickly recovered thanks to the wind that he commanded. I felt my face, noting that half my teeth were gone, along with chunks of my flesh. I hissed in pain as the wounds regenerated and I grew new teeth. Matt's face took on a shocked expression at my healed face. He tried to shake away the shock, taking flight once more with the wind. However, this time I joined him in the air, flying with my telekinesis. His jaw dropped at the showing of my true flight. "Just who the fuck are you!?" He shouted at me in disbelief
I smirked at him. "Son of Zeus, bitch." My form immediately was surrounded with an explosion of lightning, signaling that I had entered my Thunder Form. I glared at the son of Hercules with my glowing eyes, taking his his expression of total shock. He looked like he was seeing something he was almost familiar with. My aura shot through the roof as the entire camp shook from my transformation. I immediately appeared behind Matt, faster than he could even process and chopped him in the shoulder. I heard his bones crack as he slammed into the ground and he groaned in pain. I picked him up and slammed him back into the sand several times, before throwing him in the direction of camp. He smashed into the ground, creating a crater where he landed. I appeared in front of Matt once more and waited for him to get up. I was specifically holding back as to not kill him in a single hit. Hopefully Matt is stronger than he's shown so far, since it's been pretty fun so far. Matt touched his club, healing all of his wounds and repairing his bones. He shot up faster than most people could follow, swing his club at me as he did so. I lazily dodged the weapon, seeing it approach me in slow motion. I dodged several swings from the son of Hercules, letting a final on slam into me. The attack didn't even make me move a millimeter. I kicked Matt lightly in the gut, sending him flying back towards the camp. He landed in front of the campers, who had all been watching our battle in awe the entire time. I appeared right above Matt again, waiting for him to stand. He got up, but before he could do anything, I unleashed a barrage of attacks quicker than he could even see. I made sure each blow wouldn't kill the son of Hercules, but they would all hurt a fuck ton. Matt fell down to a knee, blood coming from his mouth and panting severely. I grabbed him by the neck and lifted him in the air. He tried to swing his club into my face, but it bounced off me like a balloon weapon. I looked around at all of the camper, who stared at me in total shock and fear. However, Talon, Harper, Alternate Percy and Alternate Nico all tried to step in and stop me. I held up another hand, stopping all of them in their tracks with telekinesis, making them unable to move. I looked at at Matt, disappointed by the whole fight. "I gotta admit, you were pretty strong. But...you were disappointing." I then punched through his torso in a single move, spewing blood from both Matt's wound and his mouth. Matt's eyes went wide at his injury and the camp were all shocked and horrified. Maybe I shouldn't kill him in front of them all. I appeared back on the beach, my arm still through Matt's torso. I ripped my arm out of the son of Hercules and threw him out into the ocean. I walked away from the ocean with my back turned, disappointed by the fight as a whole. Either everyone I fight is weaker than me, or far too strong. I needed a challenge.
But as I was walking away, I felt a massive aura flare up. I turned my head back to the ocean just in time to see it part like a screen out of the Bible. No, the ocean didn't part, a massive chunk of it basically disappeared. I saw a geyser of red energy off in the distance. I knew from the aura that it was Matt, his aura blazing and nearly being on par with my own. I was shocked at first, however, my shock then turned into a grin. Maybe this could be a fight that was worth something. I raced to Matt's aura, stopping in front of him. He was completely healed, likely either his transformation healing him or his club doing the job. He had a face of raw anger, which just excited me more. His aura was keeping the ocean back, burning in the middle of the open space. It was similar to Ares' aura, only brighter and less malevolent. I smirked at the son of Hercules. "I may have spoken to soon. Maybe you are really strong. Now let's go even further beyond..." I threw out both of my arms, my lightning aura increasing tenfold than what it was. I yelled, unleashing my full strength. My lightning aura grew to the size of Matt's burning red aura and a small blue aura surrounded my skin, like something out of Dragon Ball Z. The gap in the ocean just got bigger with my own power added to Matt's. Matt's eyes widened a fraction before returning to normal. Let's get this party started.
The two of us charged each other like we had at the beginning of the fight. Matt pulled back his club and filled it with his aura, and I pulled back my fist and filled it with lightning. Our attacks collided, bouncing off each other and creating a massive shockwave that no doubt the entire world could feel. We exchanged a barrage of different attack, club swings, punches, kicks, lightning attacks, everything you could think of in the span of five seconds. Both of us jumped back, getting a break. We were already both injured, bruises, broken bones, cuts and gashes already filled our bodies. Matt touched his club was was better in seconds, and I was much the same with my natural healing ability. We circled each other for a couple of seconds, before attacking each other once more. Matt stabbed his club and me with a lunge, causing me to dodge to the side and step on his club, pinning it to the ground. Matt charged his aura into the club, blowing the ground to pieces and he continued to attack. I dodged under a swipe and landed a side kick, knocking the son of Hercules back. I summoned a barrage of wind around us, creating tornadoes. Matt looked at my casual display of wind control in surprise, but continued to attack me immediately after. I weaved through his quick and fast club attacks, and send my tornado at him. Matt jumped back and dodging through and around my tornadoes, being out on the defensive. I shot lightning at my tornadoes, filling them with the charged energy. Matt was soon surrounded by the lightning tornadoes, but he clutched his club with both hands and the very earth itself tried to tear me apart. I was pinned down by the earth momentarily, which allowed Matt to close the gap faster than I thought he could. By the time I ripped out of the ground, Matt had already been swing his club at my head. His white club collided with my face, knocking me in the air. I slammed into the water of the ocean at the edge of the opening we had been fighting in, having being hit harder than I expected.
As soon as I hit the water, it tried to rip me to pieces. The horrifying liquid attack me at all directions, forcing me to fight the water itself. Matt, however, didn't give me any time to do so and followed me into the ocean as quick as possible. As I forced my arm out of the grasp of the water, Matt slammed his white club in the side of my ribs, knocking me to the side and deeper into the ocean with a crack. Pain flared up in my ribs, making me gasp. Matt didn't let up, attack me with a barrage of club strike. Each hit send a rattle and a pant of pain throughout my body, making me grit my teeth. When a strike from Matt hit me in the leg and I heard it break with a snap, I felt myself start to panic slightly. I was in the territory of my fathers enemy while someone nearly as strong as me was attacking me relentlessly. I frantically tried to block Matt's strikes, but the ocean was my enemy and attacked me at the most inopportune times. Before a blow could strike me directly in the top of my head, I was done with it. "ENOUGH!" I shouted, allowing my telekinesis to blast out in all directions, sending both Matt and the water away from me about a hundred meters. I felt my healing start up and all my broken bones start to knit together, but Matt and the water were not going to let that happen. Matt charged back at me, the water not too far behind him. I threw both my hands out. "I said get the fuck away from me!" This time, both Matt and the water were send back thousands of meters, as I put way more strength into this blast of telekinetic power. I finished healing and drew Thymos from my belt. This wasn't a game anymore. I could feel Matt's aura coming towards me again, but this time, I charged right back at him. He looked surprised at the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar in my hand, but was able to block a swing from it in time. He was sent skidding back nearly ten feet from my blow, surprised at the strength of it. I attacked him relentlessly, several quicks swings with Thymos coming from me. Matt block all of them with difficulty and I shoulder checked him, breaking his guard. I kicked him in the chin, sending him flying in the air. I flew in the air after him, swing Thymos at the son of Hercules. Matt brought up his club, blocking my attack. Both of us were knocked back from the force, but we recovered in the sky. I flew at him again. "I'm going to destroy your fucking soul!"
Both of us continued to clash in the sky, our weapons bouncing off each other and creating shockwaves that continued to keep the clouds away. Both me and Matt grunted and roared as we fought, this fight now becoming one to the death. We moved quicker than even gods would be able to see, even able to comprehend. We soared higher and higher as we battled, the ground becoming more and more distant. Eventually, the sky above us darkened and gave wave to space, leaving the atmosphere behind us. We could both feel the heat of the thermosphere, however, we ignored it in favor of fighting each other. I slammed Thymos against his club, causing Matt's arms to strain against my blow. He then bashed my Morningstar away, slamming his club into my stomach. I coughed up blood, feeling the pain of the blow. Matt tried to take my head off with a powerful swing, but I narrowly avoided it. I charged lightning into Thymos, feeling massive power from the weapon. Matt's eyes widened, feeling it as well. I smashed my weapon down onto Matt's club, causing him to block my strike again, only this time with much more difficulty. I commanded the lightning to dance up his weapon, bypassing his block and colliding right into him. Matt twitched and grunted in pain, his aura getting slightly weaker from the Heavenly Diamond enhanced lightning. I swung at his head, intend on taking his head off, but he barely dodged the attack. I overextended on the swing, allowing Matt to take advantage and kick me away from the planet.
I smashed on the surface of the moon, cracking the moon rock where I landed. I felt odd about the lack of air, however, my body didn't exactly need oxygen anymore after breaking my limits. I looked up, seeing Matt flying down where I landed with his club arched down to attack. I avoided his club strike, allowing it to smash down into the moon, creating massive web of cracks as far as the eye could see. I grabbed Matt's head and smashed it down into the ground. I took flight, dragging Matt's head along the ground and slamming him into a large Boulder created by Matt's attack from earlier. Matt smashed through the rock and grunted, not really from pain but more so from the movement. He stood up, gripping his club with both hands. The moon rocks below struck up as I landed on the ground, trying to pin me to the ground once again. I wasn't having any of this again. I tore the rocks away from me with my mind, carrying several massive chunks of rock with my telekinesis alone. I launched them at Matt, how simply moved through them. A dumb idea in retrospect, as it just kicked up dust and obscured my vision. Matt appeared from behind me, kicking me in the back. I was launched nearly fifteen feet away, before I recovered, landing on the ground once more. The two of us were panting, having to have exerted quite a bit of force throughout the fight. I might have had the upper hand for most of the bout, and I could tell I was the superior in terms of physical ability, but Matt had quite a bit more stamina than I did, which was a first. Not to mention his healing with his club, which didn't seem to draw from his own stamina, unlike my healing.
Matt stood in front of me, leveling a glare in my direction. He touched the end of the club, and the white club turned back into a necklace right in front of me. I really need to get something that does the same to Thymos. Matt put the necklace in his pocket of his jeans. "No more." Matt said. He looked rather worse for wear, despite having zero injuries thanks to that club. The armor that he had wore at the beginning of our battle was gone, having being been destroyed by an attack from Thymos and his cape had fallen to the ground below. His hair was a mess, going in all directions rather than just being pointed up. "Our fight is threatening not only the safety of the camp, but the safety of the planet. If this escalates any further, who knows what could happen?" I raised an eyebrow in confusion. What did he mean? I took a moment to look at myself. My own outfit was even more damaged than Matt's despite taking significantly less hits than he did throughout the fight. My Camp Half-Blood T-Shirt that I was surprised no one was surprised I was wearing was gone, along with my shoes. I only wore my Nemean Lion cloak and my red sweatpants, which were currently more akin to shorts instead. Matt put both of his hands together, his aura condensing. "I hate to admit it, but you're stronger than I am. And one good hit from that weapon, I might as well be done for. That means I'm forced to bring this out." I felt my own aura drain slightly for a second, noticing Matt's was strengthening. I condensed my aura in an instant, not allowing him to take anymore. An energy draining technique? Odd. Matt noticed I resisted his draining, and his looked annoyed. "For what it's worth, sorry it had to be this way." What the hell do you mean? You were the one who started this fight.
Matt's aura continued to rise even though I didn't let him take any of my energy. It started to rise to dangerous levels, quickly surpassing my own. A bright red, burning ball of pure energy erupted in his hand and he pointed it at me. It continued to get stronger and brighter, getting stronger than I knew I was capable of dealing with. It even reach the level of Atlas, the Titan who I had killed two weeks ago. I looked at the ball of energy in pure shock. What kind of fucking attack from a demigod is as strong as one of the strongest beings in the universe? Eventually Matt's aura reached it's peak, surpassing even Atlas. "Goodbye!" He unleashed the blast and a massive burst of red energy erupted from his hands. I saw the beam of red energy start to approach me, time slowing down in my perspective. I knew I was done for. There was nothing I could do against an attack like that. I looked down at Thymos, an idea sprouting in my mind. This just might work, and if not, worth a shot. I held up Thymos in front of the blast, charging my energy into it. Lightning wind surrounded the Morningstar, almost completely covering the weapon. I felt the chaotic energy within the weapon completely surge, forming a barrier in front of me. I put as much of my power as I possibly could into the shield, knowing this was all of nothing. Time resumed to normal and the beam slammed into me. I felt a weight on the other end of the barrier so heavy that it absolutely dwarfed the weight of that cube I held seven months ago, however I held steady. All I could see was red on the other side of the barrier, and it made me furious. Me and Matt were locked in a stalemate, neither of us giving any ground. I charged more power into Thymos, wiling my shield to turn into a beam of its own. The chaotic energy and energy from my aura mixed, erupting from the Morningstar in a bright blue beam surrounded by lightning. It started to push Matt's beam back, overpowering it until it reached the middle of the distance between us. I roared putting everything I could draw out of myself into the beam. Eventually, both attacks causing a massive burst of energy in the middle, canceling out both of the beams. I collapsed to one knee, heavily breathing from the attack. In front of me about thirty feet away, Matt did the same. He had an expression of complete shock and horror on his face. "W-W-What...H-How did...Imp-possible..." Matt could barely get the words out, sounding completely shook.
I breathed heavily before standing up and glaring at the son of Hercules. "Yeah, I think I'm going to kill you now." I didn't give him a chance to do or say anything, as I took flight and slammed into him. I lifted the two of us off the moon and we flew towards the planet. Matt tried to reach into his pocket and grab his necklace, but I slammed Thymos into his jaw before he could. Blood erupted from Matt's face as part of his lips and some of his teeth were torn asunder by my Heavenly Diamond Morningstar. I slammed the weapon into Matt's chest, causing his sternum to bust and a savage crack to be here. I felt heat build up around the two of us as we reentered the Earth's atmosphere, however I didn't care. I just wanted to see this bastard dead. I felt an old bloodlust overtake me and consume me as I unleashed fury on Matt. I slammed Thymos into his face and chest several times, hearing sweetly savage cracks and seeing the blood erupt from his flesh. The two of us slammed back down onto the beach we had started our battle, luckily landing here rather than across the country. Matt grunted in pain as we smashed down onto the beach, creating a massive crater that practically destroyed it. I started to just slam Thymos into Matt's head over and over and over again. Blood started to cover my arms and chest, and then eventually my face. I smiled as my face was covered in blood. I looked at what I had done to Matt, seeing his face was basically featureless and unrecognized. Blood covered the sand and sandstone around us. Matt's head was just one good hit from basically exploded into bits of skull, brain and blood. I savagely grinned, raising my Morningstar one last time. I roared, about to bring my weapon down on his skull, but I stopped. What the hell was I doing?
I looked at my arms and torso, realizing what I was covered in. I looked at Thymos, noticing it was caked in Matt's blood. I looked at the son of Hercules, noticing he looked more similar to a corpse rather than a living person. "No..." I whispered to myself, realizing I had just let my old self take over again. My arm shaking, I put Thymos back in it's sheath. "W-What have I done?" I just killed him. I know it might have been sorta justified, since he just tried to atomize me with a red version of The Final Flash because he thought I was a spy, but he was just doing what he thought was right to protect the camp. He wasn't a bad guy, not at all. And I just killed him, and enjoyed it. However, I felt a speck of Matt's aura spike slightly and I saw his hand move. He tried to grab at something, at what I didn't know, but his hand suddenly went limp. I put my hand on his blood covered neck, feeling that he did have a pulse. It was slight, but it was there. I reached into his pocket, finding Matt's necklace in there. How did he turn this into that club? I needed to make this right, and explain this absolutely massive misunderstanding. I looked at the camp that wasn't too far away, and I decided I would ask them.
I dropped my Thunder Form, and I lifted Matt of the ground and onto my shoulder. I speedwalked over to the campers, who were still huddled up where they had been. I laid Matt down on the ground in front of everyone, expecting everyone to gasp in shock and disgust when they saw his face, or lack thereof. However, there was none of that. Everyone was completely stunned, not making a single sound. I looked at everyone, covered in Matt's blood and held up his necklace. "How did you open this?" I said, my voice tired and exhausted. When I spoke, everyone absolutely started to freak out. Most everyone back away in fear, saying incoherent things, but people like Harper, Talon, Alternate Percy, Alternate Nico and Alternate Annabeth took out their weapons and pointed them at me, gingerly approaching. I rolled my eyes at the hostility, but I understood it. "I'm just trying to-" I felt a knife trying to dig in my throat in an instant, knowing Harper was the one holding it there. She was rather fast. She was glaring at me, tears brimming in her eyes and rolling down her face. She had not hesitated one bit and tried to shank me in the throat. She mentioned she had a boyfriend earlier, and I finally realized it must have been Matt. However, I was still rather pissed about her turning on me. I returned the daughter of Nemesis' glare. "Harper...you'd best take that knife away from my neck, if you know what's good for you." She shook in anger and drew the knife back, poising it to stab in my eye. Before she could even react, I put my hand against her head and attacked her mind with my telepathy. I briefly felt her hatred before I forced her unconscious and she dropped to the ground. All of the demigods who had their weapons turned on me immediately hesitated at my casual defeat of Harper. I groaned at the look of fear in their eyes. "Look, I'm just try to figure out how to open this so I can give it to Matt to heal him. He's still alive and I don't want him to die." Everyone looked confused as I looked ashamed. "This whole thing is my fault. I should have just explained the situation and we wouldn't be in this mess. I just want to make things right."
Eventually, Talon told me that you open it by pressing the Lion at the bottom. He obviously didn't trust me one bit, but he didn't want Matt to die, so he would take a gamble. I pressed the Lion head on the bottom of the necklace, and it shifted into the white club from earlier. I felt incredibly powerful in my hands, and I felt tempted to take it. I could feel the power of lightning, wind and something else within. However, I resisted it. Matt was going to die without it, and I didn't want to have to live with that. I walked over to the son of Hercules, whose aura was starting to fade. I placed the weapon in his hand. Matt's horribly damaged face and head started to knit itself back together before everyone's eyes, his features of his face returning. It only took about twenty seconds, but Matt was fully healed. His eyes shot open and he jumped up off the ground, looking around wildly. "What the fuck!?" He shouted in confusion. His eyes finally landed on me and he pointed his club at me, but his confused expression was still on his face once he realized I was standing in the middle of the campers again. "What is going on? What happened?" He caught Harper unconscious on the ground in the corner of his concern immediately filled his face. "Harper!" He immediately rushed to go check on her, as tired and exhausted as he was. He found she had no injuries but still pointed his club back at me with a glare. "What did you do!?"
I held up my blood covered hands, not having any desire to continue fighting him. "I only put her in unconsciousness. She kept trying to kill me when I was asking everyone how to get your necklace to turn back into a club so it could heal you. She's completely fine." Matt's glare faded and was replaced with confusion after he heard I wanted his club to heal him. I sighed as I saw his expression. "We have a lot to talk about, Matt."

Fucking yes! I wrote this monster shit in only four days. The old me is back, baby. Honestly, this chapter is the best in the entire story, bar none. While I said I wrote this in four days, it is going to be upload much later since I'm still waiting on Echoxenvy to finish Storm Bringers. We're going to be uploading this together on both our stories, so a little bit of a delay on my end as I didn't expect for this to get done. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed part one of this four chapter crossover and are looking forward to the next one. Remember people, it's going to be written by Echoxenvy, so expect a different writing style and a different POV character in the form of Matt next time. Anyway y'all, hope you enjoyed this chapter, I'll release a full tier list on each character in a little bit, so be on the lookout for that was well. Bye bye!
