Chapter 26: A Haunted Castle pt 1
~Isabella's POV~
When Monk, Ayako, John and myself chanted to banish the demon and I did a chant to help the spirits to move on. Right before the demon was banished for good, The demon did a good number on me by 3 scratches on my right side of my face, Scratches on my body and he wanted to take me with him, but my grandparents stopped him and saved me. The demon was banished for good and my grandparents told Monk to tell Gene and Lin that I'll be taken to China to heal. They took me to China where my mother, Sally, did her best to stop the bleeding and had a doctor on site just incase this happened to one of her children. I told my mom what happened before blacking out. I didn't know how long I was out. I heard talking and footsteps coming near to the room I was in. I heard Gene and I wanted to wake up for him and I wanted to tell him that I loved him deeply. I heard Gene come to the bed side and take my hand in his. I knew that I would wake up soon. Over the next few days, I recovered and I woke up and I saw how Gene is by my side and smiled softly.
I squeezed his hand letting him know that I'm awake. Gene called out to my mother who was a few feet from my room. When my mother came in, I saw how worried she gotten because of me. Gene helped me sit up as the doctor came in and checked my wounds. Gene told me I was out for a few days, but happy to know I was awake. I nodded softly and smiled softly. The doctor said that my wounds would be fully healed in the next month or so. The doctor left and Gene helped me stand up. We headed to Sally's office to video chat with Lin. Gene went to grab a bottle of water for me and left the office as Lin popped up on the screen.
~Gene's POV~
When I was at the base camp, I was radioed by Monk. I ran to where they told me to meet them at. Lin followed behind me and I was worried for Isabella. When Monk told me and Lin what happened and where Isabella went. I was shocked that Isabella is in China. I wanted to be by her side before she woke up. Soon we had to pack up the base camp and get ready for a new case. Lin told me to take Isabella's clothes to China and to be there by her side. I nodded and packed mine and Isabella's clothes up. I headed to the airport and headed to China. I made my way to the Koujo clan house hold. I was greeted by Sally as she explained everything that Isabella told her. I nodded and followed behind her to where Isabella is. When the doctor finished cleaning up the wounds and putting bandages on the wounds. I came to Isabella's side and sat in the chair. I was worried for her and I wanted to protect her at all cost. Sally told me while Isabella is healing, she could teach me some chants that could help Isabella and some chants I could use just in case to protect him and Isabella. I agreed and I took Isabella's hand and stayed by her side.
For the next few days, I stayed by her side and waited there for her to wake up. I wanted her to know that I wouldn't leave her side. That morning, I was slowly waking up when I felt a squeeze on my hand. I looked over at Isabella was awake. I called out to her mother and told her that she was awake. Her mother had the doctor check out Isabella if she was able to move. The doctor cleared her and and left. I helped her to stand up and walked to Sally's office. I went to get a water bottle for Isabella as Isabella talked with Lin to tell him that she would be fine and would be returning shortly. I came back and told Lin to go on a case with SPR team and at least let them know she is safe. Lin nodded and for the next few weeks, Isabella healed up and I would often see her talking to her grandparents in the garden that she would take care off. I smiled softly as I went to call Lin to see what case the SPR is doing.
~Lin's POV~
I got a video chat call and I smiled when seeing my sister up and about. Gene told me at least go on a case with the team and I nodded. Gene told me to tell the team that my sister would be coming back shortly after her wounds heal from the exorcism on the museum. I nodded softly and left to go meet with the others at the SPR office. Mai has been staying with me and Naru for a while till my sister and Gene to come back from china. Naru told me that there is a castle that is haunted in Ireland and the team would go there to see what place in Ireland that seemed haunted. I nodded and I let Gene know where the team is gonna go for their new case. Gene set a text back and I would help pack up some cameras and other stuff that we would need. On the plane ride there, I looked into the history and found out that there was no demon and no evil spirits that would attack people. So I asked Gene if he and Isabella could come to Ireland to see if the castle that we are investigating is dangerous or not since Masako was doing something back in Japan. Gene said that he ain't leaving Isabella's side while she is healing and I completely understood and I let him know that I would help out if needed.
Gene let's me know that Isabella wants me by her side and even Mai as well. I let him know that I would let Mai know. After we landed, we headed to the castle and set up our base camp where I cleansed and blessed it by chants and what not. To keep my sister and everyone safe from danger. I was grateful that My sister would be to be the voice for the spirits. Within the morning, I went and picked up my sister and Gene. I was smiled as I carefully hug my sister and carried her's and Gene's bags to the castle as Gene helps her walk. When We made it there, Everyone was happy to see Isabella is alright and healing. Mai Carefully hugs Isabella and grateful to have her here.
