This is the second crossover with thesuperone342 and his story "Zane Williams and the Gods of Olympus" Both of us do not own any of the characters (Except our OC's) Percy Jackson & The Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, or Trials of Apollo. All of that belongs to Rick Riordan.

(Matt's POV)

Salty waves crashed against the shore in front of me, tiny droplets of cool water splashed against my face, offering a refreshing feeling.

I raised Viribus in front of me, aiming it towards the ocean, like a baseball player calling his shot. Call me Babe Matt, or the Great Mattbino, if you want.

I smirked at the thought. Glad I didn't tell my friends that joke, they would've laughed, sure, but out of pity for my stupid taste of humor.

I shook the smirk off, getting serious. With a powerful swing, Viribus slashed through the air, creating a shockwave that practically split the sea. The water tunneled across the foreseeable distance and crashed back into one another, trying to heal the gash.

As my arm finished its swing, I felt a chink in my back, the flash of a searing pain. It hit me for one moment, and then it faded.

A memory played in my mind, I winced at it and lowered my head, shutting my eyes right. It didn't work, I still saw him, glowering over me, raising my body above his head, slamming my spine onto his knee.

He broke my back. He killed Levi.

That was by far the worst part of the battle. He had proved himself, he was one of us, and his life was cut short.

I stood up, the pain gone now. The physical, at least.

My cape flapped in the wind, the so called "Cape of Darkness" that allows its user to speak to the dead. Or so I've been told, I've never used it before. I haven't even worn it that much. A few times at most.

But right now I wore it, along with my sleeveless chest plate, lion's pelt, jeans, and sneakers. I had come out to the beach to train about an hour ago, but to be honest, I've done about fifteen minutes worth of actual training, the other forty five has been my own personal therapy session.

A lot of worries and questions. A few include - Where is Ouranos? Did he go to Tartarus? Is Zeus mad at me? What comes next?

I'm more confused than ever. It's only been a month, and yet things have changed so much. In Camp, in our group, everything.

Talon won't talk about any of his visions, or weird messages he's been receiving from Nikandreos. The cowboy will just throw a dismissive hand, saying "don't worry about it, kid" and "I got it under control." But it's clear that he doesn't, because every now and then, the mask falls, and I see that look of confusion, of fear, in his eyes. Something's got him bothered, more than ever. And while he is happy to have Malachi and Sera back, they've got problems of their own.

See, ambrosia is god food, and demigods can eat it, just...not in large doses. Well, apparently for the entirety of Malachi's time with Ouranos, that's all he ate. I'm not kidding, the guy downed that and nectar in a near constant rate. It's no wonder he wasn't burned to a crisp from an overdose or something. About a week or two ago, he collapsed in camp and started vomiting up blood, and a weird green substance that burned into the ground, like acid. We immediately knew something was wrong, and took him to the infirmary. After some blood tests, and examinations from Logan Barnes, we deduced what had happened. The Demi-Primordial's basically been on bed rest ever since.

And Sera, well, Sera's sort of traumatized from what happened at Mount Othrys. Olympus knows the pain, both mental, and physical, that she'd been dealt. Held captive by Ouranos of all people for a year, so that's enough right there to give you an idea. Also, while I hadn't seen it personally, I knew that Malachi had basically worked for his father, to keep her alive. She feels a certain weight of guilt from that, like it's her fault that innocent people were killed. She hated being scared of Malachi, because that just wasn't something that she associated with him. But some of the things he did...had just broken a part of the trust she had built with him. When we first got back, it was pretty awkward between them, but as of now, it's rare to see her away from his bedside, both of them talking fondly to each other, holding hands. So they must've had a conversation at some point to fix things. I hoped, because they deserved each other, and when you think about it, they're the first good things in each other's lives, what with their horrible upbringings.

Percy and Annabeth might be the only happy people in our group, and certainly the happiest in Camp right now. They got engaged. Yep, it finally happened, the guy finally popped the question, and she said yes. It wasn't like there was any doubt, I mean, we've all sort of been waiting on it, and at one point, there was a pool of drachmas betting on what day he would ask, how he would ask, and a bunch of other silly things with some of their old friends, like Leo, Piper, and those kids from Camp Jupiter, Frank and Hazel, I think were their names. Either way, they're cool people.

These days it's hard to get them to hang out with us, what with planning the wedding and what not, they're in a constant state of both frenzy, and bliss. Coated in it, actually. I wasn't about to bring them down with my sorrows and paranoia, let them be happy. I'll keep all of that stuff to myself, it's about time someone took the weight off their shoulders.

Never thought it would be me though. And I never thought it would weigh this much. Super strength doesn't seem to be an ability now.

But my burden is nothing compared to Harper's. Like I said, her brother just died, so you can imagine the pain she's going through. I've tried to talk to her, get her to open up, but the subject is off limits. She hasn't cried since the moment he breathed his last breath. Instead of letting her emotions out, she's been bottling it all in, training vigorously every chance she can, trying to keep herself as occupied as possible. We've barely spent any romantic time together, and certainly haven't gone on any dates. Not because we're angry with one another, but because...well, there's just a lot on our minds right now. It seems like we just don't have time for any of that stuff anymore.

I let my shoulders fall, and I just stood there, stiff as a board, staring at the sand.

I hated the way it was now, the way it had been since...well, since the ending of that first quest. Everything seemed so tame, so perfect after that. We beat Ouranos before he could reform, we freed Malachi and Sera, the monsters that were under control, Hera, I made good friends along the way, and got the girl in the end.

Only for the whole thing to get way more complicated than I could imagine. Spirals of events, new things getting thrown into the fray, more than we can handle. If you told me at fifteen that I would have fought titans, traveled to a different pantheon, met and grew to respect my father, and entered an arch-rivalry with the sky itself, a being older than time...then I would've called you crazy.

But here we are.

"Here we are." I muttered and sighed. It was time to get back to training, there was no use in moping around. I needed to be ready for what came next, for whatever trick Ouranos still had up his sleeve. If I could just figure out where he was going, and what his new plans were...maybe I could stop them from even blossoming.

But just as I raised Viribus to strike again, I heard screams in the distance, and felt a flare of auras light up. Two in particular...felt very different from the rest, they were unfamiliar to me.

I knew something had happened, someone was attacking Camp.

It was already happening, Ouranos's new plan was in motion. Shit! It's only been a month! How did he-

Ah, it doesn't matter. I gritted my teeth and launched off the sand, speeding through the trees and grass, entering camp withing a single second. Before me, I saw the wreckage.

It wasn't as bad as the Big Four attack, but it could've given that a run for it's money. Part of the Big House was charred in flames, several of the cabins were nearly destroyed, with the roofs caved in and wood protruding everywhere. Pillars of large buildings and trees were laying across camp, limp and lifeless. Campers were running around in a panic, I saw several of them lying unconscious...or maybe even dead.

In the woods, behind the Zeus cabin, I saw the figure of Talon on his stomach, trying to push himself up to grab a bronze sword he had formed and get back into the fight. Over at the infirmary, Malachi lay on his side, blood dripping from his mouth and his face wincing in pain. Sera was kneeling by his side, trying to shake him to get up, I could see her screaming his name, but I couldn't hear it.

Percy and Annabeth, in the moment, I was thankful that they weren't here. They had gone back to New Rome, for how long, I wasn't sure. They said they wanted some time to plan the basics of the wedding, and tell their friends up there the good news. They left Dionysus in charge.

Speaking of the wine god, he was in the middle of Camp, at the center, where we usually have sing alongs by the campfire. Holding him by the neck, was a massive humanoid creature. Broad shoulders and beefy muscles, making bodybuilders look like little kids. He had wild, silverish hair that spread out from the top of his head, like Doc Brown from Back to the Future or something. Oddly enough, he didn't wear armor, but instead, a thick blue jumpsuit that reminded me of a janitor's uniform. In the free hand, he held a devilish looking spear, long and sharp at the end. But it wasn't anything crazy, just a regular spear. Dionysus was ichor covered and his face had been beaten in. At the moment, he slapped the monster's wrist and tried to gasp for air, but whoever it was, their grip was unbreakable.

Then I felt it. In the shield on his back...was Heavenly Diamond, a chunk of it, the top peeking out with a bluish, white, transparent appearance. Small black particles danced around it, and seemed to be floating towards the spear tip, joining it like moths to light. It was chaotic energy, he was...manipulating it to make the spear far more deadly than it actually was.

Essentially, he was turning a regular spear, into a god-killing spear...

I've never seen that, not even with Ouranos. Granted, I've never seen the Primordial in his prime form. But manipulating chaotic energy? That's entirely new.

Doc Brown wasn't alone though. Next to him, with a smirk on his face, arms crossed, was a teenage looking guy, with short, smooth looking blonde hair, tan skin, and a scar across his cheek. I'd seen him in pictures before, it was Luke Castellan. Only, he seemed to be a shell of the smiling, charismatic boy I saw in the pictures, here, he had cracks all over his skin, and golden, dead eyes.

And then it hit me. Luke, in my world, is dead. This is another Luke, and that monster...is probably from another world too.

What the hell's going on?

I looked over to my right, and saw Harper unconscious, lying in a strange position, on her stomach, one arm next to her head, and the other next to her thigh. It was like she had been knocked out, and then thrown, or maybe even blasted away. The Heavenly Diamond knife that had belonged to Levi, sat a few inches away from her fingers.

My friends were down, all of them. How long had they been here? Had I just not felt them? Were my senses getting dull? Surely it took more than five minutes to nearly destroy Camp and beat our strongest warriors, right?

It didn't matter. My face scrunched in anger, and I shouted, "HEY!"

The two looked at me, both of their auras brushed up with mine, feeling it. In turn, I got a good read on theirs too, and boy, it was nothing to laugh at. Surprisingly, Doc Brown wasn't as intimidating as I figured. Sure, his aura was big, and the Heavenly Diamond made him a serious threat, but compared to Atlas or even a possessed Malachi, he wasn't that bad. We could take him. The real problem was Luke. I caught a hint of orange around his frame, and I could tell, even suppressed, that he was far more than we could handle.

This...wait a second. Luke fused with Kronos a long time ago, didn't he?

What if...

I was interrupted by chuckling, and Doc Brown throwing Dionysus on the grass, his pudgy form bounced around and ichor flew everywhere, before the god fell in a fetal position near my feet.

"So, this is the Son of Hercules I've heard so much about." Luke said, smiling and greeting me with a hand gesture. "My, he is quite powerful. Almost as much as Zane, and certainly more so than that Jackson boy."

Wait, Zane? Did he just say Zane?

"Zane?" I called out, my tensed position faltering for a moment. "As in Zane Williams?" I hadn't heard that name in a while, and certainly haven't forgotten about it. How could I? A guy comes from another universe and helps you defend your home, and gives you one of the best fights you've ever had? Yeah, you don't forget about him.

Luke was a bit surprised at my question. "So, you know him? Interesting. I suppose it makes sense, you have a bit in common after all, what with your resilience, naiveness, and other annoying qualities."

I was confused. "How do you... I mean-"

"Doesn't matter." Luke interrupted, shaking his head and motioning to Doc Brown. "Iapetus and I are here on behalf of...a good friend of yours. To put it in simple terms, you're in our way, and we're going to kill you."

Looking around, I noticed that everyone's aura felt alive, and no one had actually been killed. It was as if they wounded everybody, caused this much damage...just to get to me.

I chuckled humorlessly, and gripped Viribus tight. Red aura erupted around me, enveloping me with warmth and power. It came naturally, and easily at this point. Summoning the power of the red energy was like blinking and breathing to me.

"Yeah right." I scoffed, pointing Viribus at Iapetus, "Doc Brown" and then at Luke, "Dawson's Creek" Finally, I pointed the club to myself, "Do your worst. I'm not letting you destroy my home."

Luke's face twitched at the comment, "Cute. I see even in other universes; demigods keep their sarcasm." He cocked his head, "Iapetus."

The titan grinned at me, his silver eyes glinting at me dangerously. He stalked over to me, the ground shook with each step. He really was massive, at least eight feet tall, the standard for titans, I assume.

"I'll make it quick, Son of Heracles." He said, his voice deep, lighter than Atlas, but deep enough to hold authority and power.

That was the trigger. Iapetus took a step, then pounced on me, raising his spear above his head and stabbing down at me. I swung Viribus and met its tip, smacking it away. Black particles of chaos flew everywhere like embers from a flame, I ducked in, and side swiped at Iapetus' ribs, the brunt of Viribus hit him, and he groaned in pain.

I barrel rolled behind him and raised the club in the air. A blue arc of lightning came from the sky and connected with the tip, lighting it up and creating a bright blue glow, perfectly in sync with the red one already around my body. I slashed the air and the lightning left Viribus, soaring in the air and crashing into Iapetus's back, the small part, just below the shield.

He arched and stumbled forward. Smoke wisped from his jumpsuit, and he turned around, glaring at me.

"Quick." Was all he said, as if testing the waters of my power, gauging my level. He turned slowly, reached over his back and unsheathed the shield. He positioned his arm inside the straps, and it clung to his forearm. That and the spear, were the only giveaways of his titan status. With the janitor getup, and the crazy white-silver hair, he looked cartoonish, and kind of wacky. But his power was no joke, I knew appearances could be deceptive. I wouldn't underestimate him.

Faster than I anticipated, either because he was too fast, or because of my distracted brain, I didn't catch the shield coming at my face. He slung it, swirling, but never wavering the straight line that it took, it hit me square in the nose and my head recoiled. I felt immediate pain shoot up my nose, my body felt like it was going to tumble and roll around forever, but I only did once, and came up to one knee, recovering quickly.

He was right on top of me, catching his shield, his spear was already halfway in its swing by the time I spotted him. He was fast, damn fast. I raised Viribus and caught it, our weapons crossed in an X shape. Shockwaves erupted around us, wind surges blowing grass and the campers' bodies back several feet, ruins and wood flew into the forest.

We held our struggle for a solid minute, with him pushing down, straining and using a good bit of his energy. I could tell, he'd already busted out the aura. It wasn't exactly silver, it was more like stainless steel, a fancy, jewelry color, which was kind of strange, given his unkempt appearance. I didn't waver though, I held his attack firmly, and pushed up with my back and legs, forcing him off of me. I jabbed with Viribus into his gut, causing him to lurch forward.

I decided to improvise, and free my hands up a bit. I tossed Viribus high in the air, ignoring Luke. He just stood there, arms crossed and watching on. He wasn't about to step in, he was confident in his power, as he should be. So I had complete freedom.

With the club spinning around, I connected my knuckles to his chin, knocking his head back. Then I leapt up to his face level, and began to deliver an onslaught. I punched both of his cheeks, right crosses and left crosses, headbutts and clouds of strikes. Finally, I stepped on his shoulder and jumped up to catch Viribus, when gravity took over, I swung it and aimed to smash his nose.

But he wasn't as disoriented as I thought. Before Viribus could hit his flesh, I heard the clanging of the shield and vibrations all over my body.

He stepped back and thrust his shield out in front of him. The little black particles of chaos floated in the air and clung to the spear tip. To my surprise, it's energy, along with his own, spiked as they mixed together. The spear tip left behind his gray color and acquired a black one, seeping a smoke-like substance.

I tensed up immediately. Alright, let's be careful now, very careful. He was really amping this thing up, more so than before. He wasn't just powering up his weapon, he was lining up the dark force with his own aura.

Before he could attempt to impale me, I heard the sound of a car roaring, and then skidding to a stop, just by the tree line of half blood hill.

Iapetus and Luke both peered to see who had arrived, and I did too, only in fear, not interest. Whoever it was needed to get out of here right now! This was no time for visits!

But as I squinted my eyes, I saw a blue Prius parked in the grass, the front of it sloped with the hill.

Out of nowhere, a green sword flew over me and stuck itself in Iapetus's shoulder. The titan howled in agony, and yanked the blade out, ichor trailing behind it.

As the green aura faded, I caught a glimpse of the sword itself. Three feet, celestial bronze, with the word Anaklusmos engraved near the hilt.

Percy.

The son of Poseidon ran up beside me, thrusting his glowing green hand out and summoning Riptide back to him. He looked like he had just woke up and thrown something together. His dark hair was slightly unkempt, but that wasn't really anything new, he wore a blue button up over a Camp t-shirt, along with jeans and sneakers. Casual Percy, so that told me he was not planning on fighting today.

"What's going on?!" He asked, looking around at the chaos, the fallen campers, the destroyed buildings. He turned to me, wide eyed. "Matt?"

I nodded at Luke and Iapetus, "We have some visitors. Remember Zane Williams?"

He had to think about it for a second, but he remembered. His face darkened, and he looked at the two invaders with shock. "That son of Zeus from an alternate universe? And they're…"

He took them in, and I could tell that he was shaken up. I'd forgotten about the history he had with these guys, well, the versions from this world. Percy and Luke had a long, complicated history together, and Iapetus, or Bob, as Percy liked to call him, sacrificed himself to Annabeth and he could escape Tartarus. Both were dead, yet standing right before my friend, as if they'd never left.

And I'm assuming they look the same here as they did then. When Percy scanned Iapetus, it was like he was seeing a ghost, he was pale and gulping saliva down forcibly.

"B-Bob?" He said, "What are you doing here?"

Iapetus dropped his position for a moment, raising an eyebrow. "Bob? What are you talking about fool? I am Iapetus the Impaler, titan of the west."

Percy looked like a deer in headlights, like he'd heard those words before, at one point. Then his eyes switched to Luke.

Rather Kronos, at this point. There was no way a son of Hermes held this much power, and looked the way he did. Downright nightmarish, like the way I appeared when Ouranos got a hold of me. The black veins on my face, the sunken eyes, it's not something I think back fondly on.

"So you must be this world's Percy Jackson." Luke said, regarding Percy. "Hmm, older than the other, and formidable as well. Tell me, are you running the place now? Iapetus here tells me Chiron is nowhere to be found."

Percy couldn't speak, all he could do was mumble, mouth words that held no volume.

So I spoke for him. "Chiron isn't your concern. We are."

"Sure." Luke laughed, holding his hands up. "As you were then, as you were."

"Percy, what are you doing here?" I asked him in a whisper.

"Uh, I…I just came down for the weekend." He gulped again, "Never expected this…"

"Yeah well neither did I." I grumbled, "But listen, they're not back from the dead, okay? They're from Zane's universe. Luke mentioned him."

At that, he broke out of his trance. "Another portal?"

"I'm guessing. But from the sounds of it…they didn't get here today. Or at least, they've been here before. I just have a bad feeling."

We didn't have time to discuss it further. Iapetus was running towards us again. I signaled with Percy to go left, as subtle as I could. I darted right and we both attacked the titan from dual sides. He caught my punch and blocked Percy's strike with his shield.

Percy did something next that surprised me. Still suspended in the air, his body started to morph into another element. His skin became clear and moist, then, his body was nothing but an outline of blue water, like he'd transformed into it, which he had. The water that was Percy jumped over Iapetus' shield and circled his arm, expanding and wrapping around the majority of his body. Iapetus struggled and tried to break free, but Percy was holding him down.

"Do it!" He said, without a mouth somehow.

I wanted to laugh. He had been training his aura, it seemed. I was more than happy to discover that Percy had awakened his aura, and along with it, some serious power. He deserved it.

I jumped up and raised Viribus once again. Iapetus, unable to use his shield or spear, simply braced himself for impact. I bashed the club into his forehead this time, and simultaneously, Percy let go of his grip, letting the titan fall on his back.

He slithered up the ground and reformed back to his old self. I gave him a smirk, "Nice technique."

He chuckled, "Yeah, I watched a lot of Bruce Lee videos recently. Took his 'be like water' comment a bit too seriously, I guess."

As soon as Iapetus touched his palm to the ground, a wide blue cylinder of electricity came down from the sky and enveloped him. There was a loud crack of thunder, and shockwaves of energy. It sent Iapetus right back down, burying him in the Earth. The titan's screams of pain could be heard even through the blast.

When it subsided, smoke and steam billowed from the new crater. By the infirmary, I saw Malachi with his hand out, breathing heavily. While it would be better if he rested, for his own good, I wasn't about to complain. We needed everyone we could get right now.

Malachi zapped away and teleported next to me, struggling to stand and his back heaving with breaths.

"You okay?"

"Do not worry about me." Was all he said, and gave a reassuring nod.

We all averted our gazes to Iapetus, who was growling in rage and scrambling to get up. When he did, he roared and threw his spear, black chaos all over the tip. If it made contact, we were toast. But it didn't. Malachi and I both summoned wind at the same time, and willed it to blow back at him, tip first. Iapetus reared his head back and caught the spear, still running at us. Percy moved his hands around in a circling gesture, creating water whips from virtually nothing, using them to grab at Iapetus's shins.

From there, it was in our favor. The titan couldn't do much against our combined strength. We punched, kicked, struck, stabbed, slashed, and pretty much any other verb of violence you can think of. We weren't even finished yet, and he was bloody with ichor, his hands dropped, just taking it at this point.

Then, we were blown back.

A force too powerful for us to withstand hit us all like a dump truck. We felt a surge of power against our skin and we covered our faces, hitting the ground and skidding backwards on our heels.

When I unblocked my face, I saw orange hazes in the air, and Luke standing in front of Iapetus, his face angry.

"That is enough." He snarled, and turned to the titan with disappointment. "I'll handle this fight, since you can't."

Iapetus wiped his mouth free of ichor, and I could see his regenerative properties already taking over, boosted from the Heavenly Diamond maybe, I didn't know. I figured chaotic energy didn't heal though, it only decayed and destroyed. Immortals at least.

"I can do this." He said, annoyed that he couldn't finish the fight. "Let me-"

"You've done enough!" Luke shouted, "I will handle it!" He turned to us and smirked, "You think you have it all under control, Matt Beckett? Well, let me tell you…you have no idea of the hell you are about to witness. Nightmarish is the kindest word I can use to describe the experience you are about to have. For you face Kronos, the king of the titans, the king of the gods, the king of the entire world."

He seemed proud of himself, and while his power was steadily rising to baffling levels, I found myself trying not to groan. I'd heard this before, and I was long tired of it.

"Yeah yeah, blah blah." I said, rolling my eyes. "I've heard that crap plenty of times before. Turns out, we've got a guy just like you over here, and believe it or not…he's even more annoying."

Luke's face twitched. He wanted to see me cower in fear, crumble before him just because he's got an impressive aura. Well, Atlas had one too, and while yeah, I was scared of him, I did my best not to show it, and I fought him anyway. I would do that here, too.

Luke was barely keeping himself together. He wanted nothing more than to flick his finger or wave his hand, and wipe us all out. But that would be too quick for him, too easy. No, he wanted us to suffer.

Oh yeah, this guy is Ouranos's son, alright.

"Well then, if I am so annoying to you, then why don't you get rid of me?" He said, that confident, smug smirk returning. "I'll even put one hand behind my back for good measure. How's that?"

"Don't treat us like children!" I shouted, "Come on guys!"

We all jumped after him, which alone took a great deal of courage. I could tell we were moving in slow motion for him, and he could see all of us coming at him perfectly, what move we were about to make, what we were thinking, he had all the cards. We had already lost.

But damn, I'm going to try anyway.

We all slashed down at him, hitting nothing but air. Behind us, he reappeared, and gave a mocking wave of his hand. I turned around and shot small burst of red aura at him, something I've been trying to work on. See, instead of the usual Red Beam cannon, which takes a lot of time to charge, I've been coming up with an sub-technique, where I blast a lot of weaker surges, but there's so many of them, that it dishes out equal damage.

I thrust my hand out and focused my aura, letting it leave me in five powerful bursts. Luke cocked his head at the technique, and held out his palm. My red blasts hit his orange gloved hand like baseballs to a mitt, dissipating on impact. They made his hand recoil a little, but other than that, he was unharmed.

He looked at his fingers, "You have very good control of your aura." Then he studied me as a whole, and nodded with slight admiration. "Overall, your strength is very considerable, along with that club and that watch on your wrist…" At the watch, he furrowed his eyebrows, as if trying to figure out what it was. He might've been able to sense it's potential, and the fact that it was no ordinary lightning bolt, which in fact it wasn't. It was the Master Bolt, given to me by an older, alternate version of myself in another timeline.

Yes, I just told you those exact words. Sounds crazy, I know, but well, our life's crazy.

Either way, it suppresses itself on its own, and basically hides it's identity. But I don't know…if he really is fully Kronos now, then he might be able to tell what it is, or remember the taste of it.

If he did, then he didn't give a sign. He just kept nodding and humming. "You would make a very good right hand man, Matt. Your friend too, the fair haired one. He is also great in power." He curled his lip at Percy, "Enough experience with you to not even bother."

Percy glared at him.

Luke finally got to his point, holding his fist out in a "righteous" manner. "How about I save us a lot of time here? I'm going to give you the biggest offer of your lives, and if you accept, you won't be killed here, but instead, you'll be made kings. Both of you, will you join my cause?"

Malachi just stared at him, and I tried my best not to burst into laughter. Was this guy serious?

"Wow, you're even more stereotypical than our bad guy." I said, "Dude, you talk about showing me hell, and some nightmarish experience…and then you just offer me a spot on your team? Make up your mind."

"It is the work of a silver tongue." Malachi said, "All too familiar. It was foolish of you to try that on us, Kronos."

Luke tightened his lips. "I assure you. I am nothing like that, that pathetic Primordial. I am smarter, younger, and stronger than him. My empire is absolute, and my plan cannot be stopped. I've made more progress in my world than he has here, I promise you that."

"Answer's still no."

Luke stood straight and let his hand fall to his side. He lowered his head for a moment, closed his eyes, and started laughing. Then he full on laughed, loudly and from the belly, nodding his head.

Yeah, this guy was insane. Batshit insane.

He wiped his face, running it over with his hand. "Very well then. You'll die fools."

At an incomprehensible speed, I saw his orange frame reappear next to me, in front of Percy. His fist connected with Percy's stomach, blood flew out of my friend's mouth, his eyes were bulging out of his head from the blow. I only saw it for a split second before he was shot out from the ground and splitting a tree in the woods. Sounds of leaves and bark could be heard as he continued to tumble around.

It was Malachi's turn next. He had more time than Percy to realize what was going on, and tried to summon his lightning spear. But just as he did, Luke grabbed it and squeezed, dispersing it instantly. It crackled everywhere and thunder rang, Luke smirking as all of it happened. All he had to do was shift his weight and grab Malachi by the neck. He picked up his entire body and flung him across Camp casually, as if it was no trouble at all. He soared through the air and crashed into one of the cabins.

Then it was me. By now, I had time to react. Luke reared his fist back and delivered a deadly blow. I had barely enough time to bring Viribus up and catch the punch, it was like a blur, a flash of orange light, and sheer luck allowed me to avoid it.

His fist connected with the club, and sent me rolling on my back. I reached out and slammed Viribus in the dirt like a flag, stopping me from going any further. It was indestructible, so I wasn't worried about it, but my body on the other hand…very destructible.

His orange aura concentrated to the point of his chest, gathering and gathering like my cannon would. I knew what he was about to do, and I focused all of my aura at the same place.

He blasted it, not even using his hands, but simply his mind to manipulate the aura in such a way. It came at me, swirling and glowing like the sun. I held out my palms to block it, and the red aura did most of the work. It was nigh-unbearable, which I know I say that a lot, but I really mean it. The force was that of Atlas, something akin to this universal strength that just couldn't be touched by me alone. I strained and felt myself getting pushed back, using all I had just to keep from being atomized.

Finally, I caught enough traction, and I spread my hands apart, dispersing both of our blasts.

Luke looked a bit surprised at this, and he nodded, like a teacher when a student gets a question right.

"Very good." He said, and started to walk towards me.

I stepped back, trying to look braver than I felt. I didn't have many options left. I was kind of by myself here. I mean, Percy's power is new, and he can only do so much, and Malachi's sick, so he's kind of out of the picture too. I mean, even at full power, I don't think the both of us could stop him. Luke/Kronos, was too strong.

Behind Luke, I saw a glint of blue in the air, and something flying towards the back of his neck. Luke turned around quickly and caught whatever it was.

When time slowed down, I saw that he was holding the Heavenly Diamond Knife, Harper's knife.

Behind him, I saw her, barely on her elbows, and her hand outstretched. She had thrown it.

"Such tenacity." Luke said, clicking his tongue. "How disgusting it is, to see such pathetic fools wielding such dangerous weapons."

Before he could do anything to her, or even think for one second about using the knife, I decided to go with the last resort. It had to be done. I had no other options.

I used one on Atlas, so I had four shots left. I might have to use all of them on him, and maybe that might not be enough. I guess I'd find out soon.

I sheathed Viribus and put the necklace around my neck. Using my left hand, I covered my watch, and let everything else take control.

Warmth filled my arm, electricity crackled and surrounded me. I felt my power rise, rise, and rise some more, to astronomical levels. It got to the point, where the air was so hot, and my power grew so much, that Luke dropped the knife and turned around, his eyes the size of saucers.

"I know that power…" he gasped, "That's…that's Zeus."

Come on, bolt! Faster!

"What the hell…" He said, his face contorting in frustration, and a hint of fear, like he'd been hit with the bolt not long ago, and didn't want to deal with it again.

I knew it was too late. It wasn't going to form in time. He was going to stop time, or rush me and kill me before I had a chance. I was done.

But maybe not.

In the sky, I heard a crack, not of thunder, but of something ripping. As if the very air had been torn, a rift or something whirred above us, and I felt a new aura enter the fray.

A familiar aura.

Both Luke and I turned to the sky, to see who had disrupted us. Strangely, it felt a lot like Zeus's aura, only…weaker, maybe suppressed. It had it's own identity too, and wasn't completely like the Olympian king. But I could swear…

However, when I looked past the trees and saw who it was, I felt a lot happier than I would've been if it actually was Zeus.

Floating in the sky, was my friend, Zane Williams.

"Sup, Luke." He said, "Why don't you pick on someone from your own world?"

Zane Williams is back, and boy am I glad to see him.

The guy, or should I say man now, was looking sharp as ever.

He had grown in height, a couple of inches or so. Along with me and Malachi, I'd say he was about even to us, maybe a hair taller, which was kind of astounding, considering he's like two years younger than me.

But man, he really didn't look it. The first new thing I immediately noticed about him, was the beard. It was neatly trimmed, and covered his jaw, chin, and lip, as dark as his long hair, parted in the middle and flowing on both sides of his face. A lot like Malachi's hair actually, only longer and black.

His looks and features were comparable to Malachi too, as far as flawlessness goes, they've got it down pat. Zane's not really into girls though, and as far as I remember, he's dating two dudes, one of which is the alternate Nico. Not judging, believe me, but I couldn't imagine if he was straight, and lived in my world. Geez, the girls would be flocking to him and Malachi so much it wouldn't be funny. More him than Malachi probably, only because the girls around here know about he and Sera, and are kind of intimidated by her, since word of the outburst last year at her old mansion spread around. They're kind of intimidated by her.

But back to Zane. As far as the rest of him goes, well…that was new too. Last time we met, he quite literally only had red jogging pants on, since I sort of burned off the rest of his clothes in our fight. Now, he donned something completely new; a huge, awesome looking set of armor. Picture a half spartan, half medieval set, and that's pretty much what you've got here. A full cuirass of Greek descriptions and what looked like designs of Zeus, pauldrons and gray metal covering the length of his shoulders, arms, chest, legs, and virtually everything. I could tell even from here that it wasn't ordinary metal. It looked far too dense and durable that that, but the material…I couldn't really place it.

I didn't think about it for too long, because my eyes fell to the next cool thing on his body. Strapped to his back, was the biggest sword I think I've ever seen. It kind of reminded me of the one Levi used to have, only this was even bigger. It was wide, thick, and at least seven feet long. Dark black, long hilt, probably meant to be wielded with two hands, though I could tell that Zane only needed one to hold it. It seemed to have little attachments on the hilt, and that could be the reason for it's length. I wasn't sure what it was for, but all around it were little hatches, compartments, and buttons. You know, looking at the blade itself again, in the sunlight, it had a lot of weird inscriptions on it, not for decoration, but for battle.

And of course, at his waist, was Thymos, his Heavenly Diamond Morningstar. Really quick, if you don't know what a Morningstar looks like…you're missing out on probably the most brunt, yet interesting looking weapon ever made. It's basically a ball of metal surrounded by spikes, on the end of a long wooden handle. Looks cool, and hurts when you get hit with one.

To put it shortly, Zane looked different than before, but a really good different.

Luke growled and glared up at Zane. "Zane, how nice of you to join us. Just when I think I've plucked out the thorn in my side, it keeps coming back."

"Cute, Luke. Real cute." Zane said, not impressed. He slowly floated down to the ground, beside both Luke and I. Little sparks of lightning danced around his body, his eyes kept flashing from a blue glow and regular pupils, like he was on the edge of letting loose.

He looked as ferocious as ever, and ready to fight. That is, until he saw me.

When he did, his serious face turned into a toothy grin, and he waved. "Hey buddy! Oh…shit, nice watch!"

He pointed at the Master Bolt watch, and I may have given a nervous chuckle, I wasn't sure. I was kind of sitting there, just trying to take it all in the best I could.

Zane got serious again, and nodded at me. "You've done good Matt, but I'll take it from here." He spat at Luke, "He's not worth your time anyway, or mine for that matter. But every now and then you gotta roll around with the pigs. Am I right, Luke?"

Luke looked absolutely infuriated. Veins popping from his forehead, knuckles white, a sense of undying hatred towards the Son of Zeus. He wanted to kill him badly, so badly that I thought I was feeling Talon's bloodlust right now. Wow, he hates Zane as much as Ouranos hates me. What is it with these psychotic old beings hating young guys like us?

Luke shook as he responded, barely containing his rage. "I suppose so, Zane. What are you doing here? Figured you were trying to come up with a plan to stop me, pacing around that pathetic Camp of yours, futilely swinging the chaos stick."

Zane shrugged, "Oh I have been, believe me. But I've also been keeping track of you. I know you're up to no good, Luke, but in this world? Well, whatever it is, it ends today."

"I don't think so, boy." Luke smirked, "This plan that I've been cooking up, is much bigger than you. Even bigger than your father…"

Zane seemed unphased, but I could tell that he had been bothered by something for a while. It was in his eyes; it was in his emotions. As well as he hid it, I've done enough reading, and been in his position to know that he was a bit worried.

Luke motioned at Iapetus, "Here's your second chance. Dispose of the trash."

Iapetus nodded, and held his spear firmly again, along with the shield.

Zane instantly noticed the Heavenly Diamond charging the spear up, as if the black particles weren't a dead giveaway. His eyes furrowed a bit, but he took the new information in stride, accepting the terms.

"What are you doing with that thing?" He said, sarcastically chuckling. "Charging your titan phone, dumbass?"

"Killing you with it, prideful brat." Iapetus said.

Zane scoffed, and gestured for the titan to come at him. As confident as he was, and yeah, he'd probably give Talon a run for his money in that regard, I saw Zane's posture tighten at the sight and sense of Heavenly Diamond. It was no joke, and he knew it. I mean, with just a small chunk, the air seemed to bend around it, the ground was like jelly, and everything got really shaky. The sheer power…it was unreal. It really makes you think about the being, the thing itself. Chaos. Is it even sentient? Like one day, could it decide that the human race is annoying, and just wipe us all out, or what if it wanted to be king? Could it just take a physical form and kill Zeus with it's pinkie finger? I don't know, and nobody else really does either. Every time I've heard it described, it's this void, this empty void of nothingness, black space that begun the world, begun everything that now exists. It was sentient, to a point, as in it had a consciousness, but a different one that what I'm used to, or what even a god is used to.

Confusing. How about I stick to describing the fight, and not ponder the existence of Chaos, okay? Okay.

Iapetus charged Zane, running hard and with effort, while Zane just casually jogged towards the titan, his entire form being enveloped with blue aura and a cage of lightning. His patented "Thunder Form" If I remember right. He unsheathed the giant sword on his back. It was so big, that he couldn't even unsheathe it the way you would normally. Instead, he smacked the hilt, and it flew in the air, unsheathing through sheer momentum. Zane caught it smoothly, and his thumb slid down the hilt, pressing a large button near the bottom.

I was confused on what he was trying to do, but when the blade started to glow a bright orange and red, I knew what was happening. Zane pointed the sword at Iapetus, and from the hilt, fire erupted, encircling the sword and shooting up at the titan, covering him from head to toe in fire.

Iapetus howled in agony. Normally, fire doesn't really affect titans, or anyone generally that strong, but for some reason, he smacked at the fire, trying his best to get rid of it. It must've been enchanted or something, making it stronger than a normal flame. My best guess was that the inscriptions and gems on the sword were magical items, boosting the devices on the sword.

Zane slid behind him and smacked the hilt of it in Iapetus' back, causing him to stumble. Then he sliced across his spine, and left a sizable gash, causing ichor to fly out and drench the ground. Iapetus didn't even shout, he just grunted, and his entire face turned red.

"You little shit!" He tried to stab his spear at Zane, but it was no use. The giant sword was already doing it's magic. The gash on Iapetus' back was now laced green, and bubbling in an acid-like manner. Iapetus took notice of this, and started howling in agony, clawing, and reaching for his back, but failing to get the most important spots.

Poison? Wow, that was…some sword. Just where did he get that thing?

Iapetus smacked at Zane, but he just raised the sword up and allowed the titan's fist to clang against it, using it as a makeshift shield. Still in midair, Zane kicked Iapetus in the face, knocking him back several feet.

Zane pressed another button, and several mechanical holes opened up on the top of the hilt, out from them, chains with small spikes, made from the same material as his armor, shot in a straight line.

There were about six of them, and they all hit Iapetus across the body, sinking into his flesh. At this point, it was a massacre. Iapetus had no time to increase his power, and he was still wounded from our onslaught earlier. Zane was too fast.

Finally, the son of Zeus smirked and pulled on the chains, the titan came with them, being forced against his own will, he flew at Zane, completely exposed.

He had him right where he wanted him. Quickly, he pressed the same button that activated the chains, and they fell from the hilt, detaching themselves. Zane reared his fist back, coated it in bright blue aura, and punched Iapetus hard in the jaw.

The titan's head fell in the ground, forming yet another crater. By the time it was over, he lay there, out of it.

Zane regarded the fallen titan, and reached down, picking up his shield, with the Heavenly Diamond in it.

At that, not Iapetus being beaten mind you, there was an immediate reaction from Luke. His aura flared, rising even higher than it did before when he annihalated us. An orange cylinder surrounded him, and his face was contorted in rage, his fists were clenched. What about that had set him off? Yeah, Zane was strong, and that display against Iapetus was impressive, but Luke still had him overpowered, by a good amount. There was no way Zane could beat him on his own, especially now.

But above all odds, he smirked.

If I'd been in a chair, I probably would've fallen out of it. How could he still be standing after that? Luke's aura was massive, it was Kronos at this point, all of him. He couldn't handle that!

I got up, and started walking over to him.

Zane noticed, and his smirk fell. "What are you doing?"

"Helping you."

At that, he thrust his hand at me, and the weirdest thing happened. I felt an invisible arm wrap around me and keep me still, stopping me from taking another step. His face was full of concentration, as if he'd willed the air to do that. No wait, it wasn't the air, it was…telekinesis. He did that with his mind…

"No Matt! Stay there! I got this!"

"But-"

"No buts! I can't risk this universe's fate too! You're the one to save it, so I'm not letting you die!" He calmed down, and breathed an exhale. "Let me handle him."

I stared on in bewilderment. He was insane, utterly insane. What gave him such delusion that he could even touch Luke right now? He was in his elevated form! And Luke still had him overpowered!

But Zane, surprisingly, just popped his neck, and said, "Alright, here we go."

As if things couldn't get crazier, they did. Suddenly, the black particles from Iapetus' shield began to float in the air, and join themselves with Zane's aura.

Yeah, you heard that right. They flew towards his aura. What was once bright blue, began to turn a massive, dark blue that surrounded him in an outline, and another outline, taking up about ten feet of space. It was huge, and the power…it was incredible. It rose far beyond anything I'd ever felt from him, or thought I could feel. Dark colored lightning coiled and crashed around him, eliciting thunder in all directions, booming here and booming there, close and far distances.

Eventually, it got to the point, where he matched Luke's power, and then…slightly surpassed it.

My eyes were the size of dinner plates. How and the…hell did he just do that? What was this power up? I mean…No, I mean…that wasn't possible?

But apparently, it was. What else am I looking at? He just imbued chaotic energy with his own aura! How's it not killing him?!

But upon closer inspection…I noticed that it actually was killing him.

See, there's aura, and then there's lifeforce. Aura is what we all use to fight, to use our experience and power in battle. Lifeforce is what our body runs on, what keeps us breathing and alive. We don't tap into that. I mean, you could, but you'd probably die.

I could already tell that Zane was gambling heavily right now on this, and he didn't have much time at all to finish Luke. The chaotic energy was eating away at his lifeforce, waning it drastically. Within a few minutes, if he didn't stop imbuing it, he'd be dead.

That's a hell of a drawback, but the power…yeah, it's insane. Still, that's a really big gamble, and it's pretty crazy to be honest. Any overexertion could speed up the process.

Just how did Zane come across this? What made him decide to use this in the first place? I was curious.

But that curiosity would have to wait. Because the two started circling one another, the air in between them getting hot.

"It's no use, Zane. I've gotten even stronger since we last met. My plan is coming together, and I will execute it without fail."

"Yeah? We'll see in about two minutes."

Luke chuckled, "But that's the thing here, Zane. All I have to do is last that long, and then your little boost is gone. And if you use it too much…well, you know what happens."

"I think I can finish you off in time." Zane said, pulling out Thymos and dual wielding both it and the massive sword. "Enough talk. Let's end this."

With that, the two clashed in the sky, shooting up from the ground quicker than I could even comprehend. I thought I could see speed, but apparently, I was dead wrong. It only appeared to me mostly, as sickly orange, and dark blue blurs, throwing themselves at each other in the sky, the clanging of weapons roaring out across miles of distance, shaking the ground.

I was getting a headache just watching them, my senses were even starting to hurt my neck, painful stings coursing through my nervous system, at just being in the same vicinity as these two. Hell, in the air, I saw cracks form, literal cracks, showing off red and purple colors, lines getting bigger and bigger, like little portals and rifts forming from the energy output. It was like reality itself couldn't handle the weigh of the fight.

It might've been minutes, or seconds, or even hours, I didn't know. I was so drawn, so glued to the display, I stood up and just stared in awe. This guy…it was so hard to believe that I fought him equally at one point, and now, here he is, fighting the literal Titan king, on his own. I remembered him saying something about becoming the strongest. That was his goal. Well, he's making good headway, I can tell you that.

Finally, I saw something that resembled visible action. Luke threw a blow and Zane dodged, the momentum of Luke's punch sent him spinning, offering up his back to Zane, who took his shot and kicked him square in the spine.

Luke flailed around before halting abruptly. They hovered about a hundred feet apart from each other, their auras condensing and rising steadily. What were they doing?

The next moment, I had my answer. Two beams erupted from their outlines and got closer, closer, and finally, clashed. The sound was that of a nuclear explosion, and the brightness matched the sun not a few feet away in my vision. I found myself squinting my eyes and covering my ears, glad that everyone else was unconscious, otherwise, they'd probably just be knocked out again from the sheer force.

I felt someone walk up beside me. It was Malachi, still breathing heavily, and clutching his shoulder.

"What on Earth is happening? Who is that up there?"

"No time to explain." I said, "Help me contain the shockwaves, if they go free, they'll destroy Camp."

I could tell Zane was trying his best to keep rogue shockwaves and spurts of energy from hitting the ground or the city, but the swirling energy, the weight of the continuous blast…there was nothing he could really do.

So Malachi and I would do it. He agreed, and we both raised our hands, concentrating our auras.

In front of us, we formed a blue and red dome, spread out over camp protectively, encompassing hundreds of feet. I felt the shockwaves bounce off of it and even push us back a little, thousands of energy bullets rained down from the sky, nearly invisible, since they were so small, but each one held the destructiveness of a truckload of dynamite.

The beam struggle lasted another few seconds, and in that time, it was a show to watch. The colors swirling together, pushing back and forth, both of them gaining the edge every few seconds. It was indecisive, it was powerful, it was raw. I couldn't fully process it, and if I stared any longer, I might've been atomized on the spot.

When it was over, Malachi and I dispersed the dome, and Camp was unharmed. We both slumped a little, and sighed with relief.

But then, Luke came crashing into the ground, a whirring surge of energy blasting around him and hitting us in the face with strong winds.

Zane came next, still surrounded by this new form. I could tell though, his lifeforce was getting dangerously close. He had maybe a minute and a half.

Luke though, after his aura faded, looked horrible. He had burns and cuts all over his body from the exchange, ichor flowed everywhere and soaked his skin. Man, they had delivered that many strikes? I couldn't even tell.

But one second he was wounded, and the very next, he was perfectly fine. It was like we blinked, and Luke was good as new. In an instant, he appeared healthy, unwounded, and back to normal. His energy even returned.

Zane eyed him, tensed up and still ready to go. He gave him a look, like he was saying well, are we still doing this or what?

The tension held for a few seconds, then finally, Luke's aura diminished, and he dropped his posture.

"This shit isn't' worth my time." He said, and motioned for Iapetus to come over, who looked about as baffled and thunderstruck as I had been. "I've got things to do. You and I will finish this when the time comes, Zane, but as of now…well, I'm a bit busy. Later."

Zane snarled, "No! You're not getting away that easy!"

He tried to jump after Luke, but the titan/demigod was already slicing the air open with his own personal aura blade. He literally made a cutting movement in the air, and it opened, the new rift surrounded by orange. Just like that, he'd created a path between dimensions. Pushing Iapetus through, he quickly jumped in afterward.

Just as Zane caught up with him, and swung Thymos, he was gone. The rift had closed.

Malachi and I stood there for several moments, just staring at Zane, who shouted an angry "SHIT!" and sheathed his weapons, putting his hands on his hips in frustration.

But then, in an oh well moment, he shook his head and shrugged, turning to us.

"So…did you miss me?"
