Chapter Four of the second crossover. Everything from this point forward is written by thesuperone342. Hope you enjoy!
As me and Matt fell into the multiverse, a mirage of colors assaulted my vision.
The multiverse, to put it simply, was absolutely not anything like how I imagined it would be. Yes, I'd traveled between realities before, most notably between mine and Matt's, but our realities were kind of like right next to each other. Sister realities if you will.
I'd never really seen the inbetween of the borders of the realities that make up the infinite multiverse, but I had seen memories of them within Matt's mind. However, none of Matt's recollection could prepare me for what I saw. Colors, some that I was familiar with and other I didn't even know exist. Doors or maybe gateways of pure solid color dotted almost everywhere in my vision.
There didn't seem to be any order or specific way the gateways of the multiverse was set up, or there wasn't at first glance. Upon more careful inspection, I could find that there seemed to be lines, or some kind of anchor between realities. I saw one small line made up of some kind of crystal like structure, filled in with infinite colors, come from the top of the gateway Luke had created.
Me, Matt and Luke were flying through the fabric of the multiverse. We were surrounded by the uncountable number of gateways and random openings that seemed to melt together. I could barely keep my eyes on Luke's quickly retreating form, as the unfathomable color of reality nearly blinded me.
Luke's orange aura coated form shifted and he turned his head back towards us. Annoyance quickly sprouted on Luke's face, and his cracked skin covered brow furrowed. "Fools. Following me into a place as dangerous as the multiversal in-between plane is only asking for destruction. If not for your auras, you would likely be torn apart by the sheer pressure of the fabric of reality."
Matt just looked at Luke with a deadpan expression. "Haven't done too much multiverse travel, have you, Kronos Jr.?" The remark made a vein bulge out on Luke's head, but otherwise he didn't do very much. "That's not really how that works. You can exist here without any threat of being torn to pieces. It's not like it a black hole or anything." Matt proved this by dropping the aura around his hand, with nothing happening to Matt's unprotected arm.
Luke simply looked at Matt, a dark look of annoyance at the son of Hercules' presence clear on his expression. "Hm. It seems like my assumption that the in-between plane of the multiverse would be dangerous was wrong. Huh." Luke gripped the handle of his new Heavenly Diamond scythe, his normally sickly orange aura now being filled with particles and flares of blue and black energy. "Still, following me here was a death sentence. Even if I don't kill you, making your way back to either of your home realities is quite the tall order."
Both me and Matt looked back from where we had come from, only to see that our previous path looked the exact same as everything else. Millions of gateways and doors of color as far as the eye could see. We could look for weeks, if not months, and still probably not find where we had flown from. I coughed, before looking at Matt. "He kind of has a point, Matt. Why exactly did we follow him in here again?"
Matt rolled his eyes and sighed. "We couldn't just let him get away, Zane. He could wreak havoc on the multiverse with that new weapon of his. He could destroy universes just with a wave of his scythe. Just imagine how many innocent lives could feel his wrath on nothing but a whim." He looked at me with the same deadpan look he gave Luke earlier. "Plus, you were the one who said to follow him."
I felt my face heat up slightly in embarrassment and I pointedly ignored Matt's stare. "Y-Yeah, I guess I did." I cleared my throat, before looking back at Luke with a fierce glare. "Anyway, it doesn't matter. We're here now, Luke. Like you said, probably no easy way back. So we're going to have to kill you, then use that scythe to help us return home."
Luke smirked at my words, his fingers twitching on the shaft of the Heavenly Diamond weapon. "Kill me?" Luke's face then broke in a wide grin, before he nearly double over in laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Luke looked back up at us, the same insane look in his glowing, orange eyes. "You truly believe you weak, pathetic fools can kill me!? Even when I have my new Harpe?"
Matt looked confused for a second. "Harper? Harper isn't a Heavenly Diamond scythe, you idiot." I facepalmed at Matt's lack of Greek mythology knowledge. Did he seriously not know what Kronos' weapon was called? Matt noticed my facepalm and looked even more confused. "What?"
I sighed a bit, feeling kind of embarrassed that Matt interrupted one of Luke's megalomaniacal speeches with him being his usual self. "Dude, it's Harpe, not Harper. A distinct lack of an 'r.' Do you not know what Kronos' weapon is called? You know, the weapon he used to slice Ouranos into millions of tiny pieces?"
Matt's face turned red and he looked away at one of the multiversal gateways. "U-Uh…yeah, totally. I definitly, one hundred percent knew that." I looked at the son of Hercules with a deadpan expression. Yeah, sure.
Luke didn't even comment on our banter, or even seem to notice it. Luke touched the side of the curved Heavenly Diamond spike on the end of his staff, almost looking at it reverently. "No….not Harpe. Kronos, or I gave my previous weapon that name long ago. Harpe is gone, the scythe head being forged into Backbitter years ago. This is a new beginning. As such, a new name is required." Luke looked at the weapon for a few seconds, before grinning. "Aposynthesi."
Decay. That was what the new name of Luke's Heavenly Diamond scythe meant. Luke chuckled again. "Yes. Aposynthesi. That shall be the new title of my new weapon." Luke looked back to his, his smirk not disappearing from his face for a second. "You idiots really think you can beat me when I have Aposynthesi in my possession? Just feel my aura. I'm already stronger."
That he was. Reaching out with my aura sense, I could tell Luke had already made a pretty significant increase in power. Rather than being slightly weaker than my Heavenly Thunder Form's power, Luke was now slightly stronger than me. And I could tell Luke would only get stronger and stronger, the more he used the weapon. We had to defeat him now before that happened.
I didn't back down one inch. "You really think a new shiny chaos hoe is going to scare us away? You've done and said some stupid shit over the years, Luke, but that one might just take the cake." I closed my eyes, feeling the familiar pull feeling in my chest as I summoned chaotic power from Thymos. I yelled, thrusting out both my arms as my aura darkened and expanded. My lightning cage nearly quintupled in size, signaling my transformation in my Heavenly Thunder Form.
Matt followed in suit, grasping his hand around his watch. I felt my father's aura erupt from the mechanism, as a two foot long lightning bolt formed in Matt's hand. Matt's Red Aura became filled with Blue, creating a vortex of changing energy color around the son of Hercules. Matt's aura erupted, becoming far more powerful than normal. Not quite on mine and Luke's level, but still far stronger than anyone outside of Big Three level.
I smirked at Matt's transformation, one which the son of Hercules returned. "Now we're talking." I glared back at Luke, drawing both Thymos and Prometheus' sword, coating both weapons in chaotic lightning. "This one is our last duel, Luke. Time to die."
Luke grinned at my words, as orange and dark blue and black energy erupted from his frame. "Yes. This will be our last meeting. However…" Luke appeared behind us, moving in a burst of speed. My eyes widened at his new speed, as I was barely able to track his movement. "…you don't really seem to understand just how outmatched you are at the moment.
I nearly gasped at Luke's show of speed, but I covered my shock. I quickly turned around, swinging Prometheus' molecular cutting giant blade at Luke's unprotected neck. Luke simply stood in the trajectory, grinning the entire time. Suddenly his grin fell, and he quickly dodged the blade narrowly. Matt didn't give Luke anytime to rest, as he quickly attacked the Titan with a barrage of attacks from Viribus.
Luke weaved and bobbed through Matt's assault, creating afterimages Matt couldn't even hit through sheer speed alone. Matt thrusted forward the tip of Viribus, coating the club in energy from the Master Bolt. Luke simply dodged to the side, before slamming his fist into Matt's gut with one powerful uppercut.
A wad of spit erupted from Matt mouth as he gasped and covered his armored torso in pain. Luke let out an annoyed 'tch.' "It seems like I cannot currently stop time or use any of my time abilities. A likely side effect from mantling a new symbol of power." Luke whispered to himself, but my enhanced demigod senses picked it up.
I appeared in front of Luke, my dark blue aura crackling. "Good to know." I slammed my fist directly into the side of his cheek, completely catching him off guard. Luke flew back in the multiversal plane several dozen feet, groaning slightly from my blow. I put a hand on Matt's shoulder. "You alright, man?"
Matt coughed, before floating in the air straight once more. "I'm good. He just hits really, really hard." Matt glared back at Luke's form, before slight apprehension covered his eyes. "I think he's even stronger than Atlas now. He's definitely way more dangerous with that weapon, too."
I cracked my neck, preparing myself for an epic battle. "All the more reason to end him now before his control of his powers comes back. Can you imagine, an Atlas level being with time manipulating abilities, coupled with a Heavenly Diamond weapon? Honestly terrifying thought." I dropped into a fighting stance. "But we can't back down, in spite of all what I just said. We have to kill him."
Matt seemed almost emboldened by my words, dropping into his own fighting stance as well. "You're right, Zane. Let's show this two-bit Kronos knock-off what happens when he messes with our friends." I grinned at Matt's courage as the son of Hercules glanced at me. "You're our big gun, so you have to fight Luke head on. I'll provide support, and healing with Viribus if need be. I'm not as strong as you two, so I'll have to be the annoying one in this fight."
I nodded at Matt's battle plan. "Right. I'll fight Luke head on and you support me. Now, let's do this!" Me and Matt nodded, before the two of us charged directly at Luke, who had been floating in anticipation of our next move. Me and Matt created a powerful shockwave as we flew right at Luke, causing some of the gateways to slosh around.
Luke grinned at our bold strategy. "Charging straight ahead?" Luke immediately dipped into a fighting stance, one where he held his scythe in a reverse grip against his forearm. "Utter foolishness." Luke met both mine and Matt's charge head on, the tip of Aposynthesi slamming against the spiked ball of Thymos.
The collision of our Heavenly Diamond weapons created an absolutely massive shockwave, as the weapons had been charged with both our energy and chaotic power. The blast blew Matt back, as well as me and Luke. As I flew backwards alongside the son of Hercules, I noticed several of the interdimensional gateways were now cracked.
I nearly did a double take. Were we breaking the fabric of reality in those universes? Luke didn't give me any time to even process that little nugget of information, as he appeared directly in my personal space and slammed a knee into my gut. I grunted slightly, not too injured thanks to my Universal Titanium armor.
Matt immediately came to my defense, swinging Viribus one handed towards Luke's skull. Luke brought the shaft of Aposynthesi right in front of the trajectory of Matt's swing, blocking the son of Hercules' attack just in time. I didn't give Luke any time to try and counterattack Matt, swinging Prometheus' sword to try and bisect Luke in two.
Luke released his aura all around him, the sickly orange and dark blue-black mix appearing around his frame. The force of Luke's aura blew both me and Matt back several feet, but we quickly recovered. Both me and Matt attacked in unison, the two of us using both of our weapons to try and end Luke's existence. Me with Thymos and Prometheus' sword, Matt with Viribus and The Master Bolt, which he swung like a small hammer.
We actually had Luke almost on the ropes, or we were at least stalemating him. Luke met everyone of our attacks with ones of his own, our blows creating shockwaves I know started to break apart the gateways around us. Luke tried to slice us to ribbons with Aposynthesi, something that would erase both mine and Matt's souls if that happened. Both me and Matt, working together in perfect synch, traded and matched Luke blow for blow.
All around us as we fought, I saw the gateways of all the different universes start to crumble. It wasn't happening to literally everyone of them, but I could see a couple dozen universe gateways barely holding together in the aftermath of our carnage. I'm not sure if it's just the gateway to that reality only, or if it was representing that entire universe that was being destroyed, but I would bet my money on the later.
And if that was true, we needed to end Luke now before entire universes came to an end. Trillions of lives, if not a whole lot more depended on us right now, and I wasn't about to let them down. "Matt!" I yelled out, getting the son of Hercules' attention. "We're literally breaking apart entire universes fighting Luke out here. Or at least I think we are." I charged more energy into each of my weapons, slipping back into a combat stance facing Luke. "We need to end him now."
Matt nodded solemnly at my words, before facing down Luke with a fighting stance of his own. "Right." Both me and Matt blurred towards Luke, moving at full speed. We reached the new Lord of Time nearly instantly, although I knew he saw us coming. We immediately entered another clash with Luke, the two of us fighting in unison against him once more.
Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of blows were exchanged in only but a minute or so. Reality itself seemed to become thick close by our battle, even in a space outside of reality somehow. Nearby gateways cracked and broke even more, some of them coming close to shattering entirely, which would probably end all life in them instantly. Eventually, the fighting stopped with a yell. "ENOUGH!"
Luke threw out both of his arms, unleashing a blast of a mix of sickly orange and blue-black energy towards us, knocking us back once more. Veins popped out of Luke's pale, sickly cracked skin, and an expression of rage was clear on his face. "I have had enough of fighting you clowns! Time. For you. To die!" Luke unleashed even more energy, powering up even further beyond his previous new strength.
Both me and Matt were sent flying back once more. Using my telekinesis, I quickly stopped both of us several dozen feet away from Luke. Luke's aura climbed even more, and his sickly orange and blue-black aura grew in size around him. My eyes widened. "He's charging a blast." I sheathed my weapons and pulled back both my armored hands. "Matt, we're going to need some good ol' Red Beam Cannon as fast as possible, right now."
Matt looked around in confusion, before placing both hands in front of him. "Where do I gather the energy, though? There's no life around for as far as I can see." As Matt spoke, Luke's mixed aura continued to get brighter and larger, and I knew he was about to fire. I channeled my own dark blue aura into my hands, forming two energy spheres that crackled with lightning.
I turned my head to Matt as I charged my own attack. "Matt, just draw energy from the surrounding universes. They have to have plenty of energy, more than enough to help us overpower whatever Luke is about to do." Luke's aura reached a new peak, and I knew a blast from him was imminent. "Do it as fast as possible, please. I have no idea how long I'll be able to hold Luke's attack back on my own."
Suddenly, the thundercracking sound of Luke firing his massive orange and blue-black blast in my direction. I thrusted both my arms forwards, the energy spheres floating in both of my open hands intensifying exponentially. My dark blue aura exploded around me even more, as well as increasing the size of my lightning cage.
"Heavenly Fury!" The two dark energy spheres in my open hands erupted into a singular massive beam, converging into one right in front of my outstretched hands. Both mine and Luke's beams flew directly at each other at speeds far beyond light, easily by trillions of times. My dark blue beam collided with Luke's multi-colored one, creating a massive beam struggle that started to further tear apart nearby realities.
I could feel the weight of Luke's power against my beam. It nearly made my arms buckle from the force, easily being the heaviest thing I've ever pushed against. My arms screamed in protest, the muscles on them bulging with veins. I yelled in pain as I held back Luke's blast, struggling against it with all of my might. It was a far cry from our previous beam struggle, as we were nearly dead even then. Now, Luke had all the advantage.
"M-Matt! I don't know how long I can keep this up! Hurry up and gather the energy from the nearby universes!" Matt, as if spurred on by my words, closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He only thrusted out one arm, as his left hand still held the Master Bolt to use as an energy conduit. Matt's red and blue aura exploded around him, much like mine and Luke.
Suddenly, pure ethereal energy started to slowly pour out of several nearby cracked and nearly shattered gateways. The energy joined with Matt's aura, causing it to skyrocket in power. A sun-bright burning ball of red and blue energy formed in Matt's hand, quickly catching up to the power of my own blast. Energy poured more and more out of the broken gateways, rapidly increasing the power of Matt's one armed Red Beam Cannon.
The power of this new blast outstripped any Red Beam Cannon Matt had ever done before. I had seen all of the ones he had used in his memories, and this new one was more powerful than all of those previous blasts combined, including the Red Beam Cannon he used against Atlas. The sheer amount of energy drawn from several universes will do that.
It only took a few seconds, which felt like a long time as I was still clashing with Luke's own powerful beam, but Matt had completed his blast. "It's ready!" Matt thrusted his arm forwards, channeling the power he got from the Master Bolt into the already insane strength of his blast, making the blast even more ludicrously powerful. "Red Beam Cannon!"
Matt then released the absolutely immense amount of energy stockpiled into his Red Beam Cannon, unleashing the red and blue blast right alongside my own. Matt's beam fused with mine as we stood side by side, becoming one monumental multi-colored dark blue, blue and red beam. Me and Matt's combined blast smashed against Luke's own once more, stalemating it.
The two massive multicolored blasts fought for supremacy, creating rips and bursts of energy that continued to rupture small parts of the multiverse around us. Some gateways finally tore apart, shattering into millions of infinitely colored shards of reality, ending those universes entirely. I felt my stomach drop seeing the sight, knowing there wasn't much I could do to save them.
With my enhanced sight, I could Luke continuing to fire his blast from his left hand, holding Aposynthesi in his right behind him. Sweat dripped down his cracked and pale brow, as veins bulged out of his head and arms. I could hear him growling as he continued fire the blast, but eventually, his grasp around his Heavenly Diamond scythe tightened.
Luke suddenly let out a massive roar, and a dark blue energy erupted around his scythe. Luke swung Aposynthesi in a diagonal arc, seemingly slicing through the two massive beams. Both beams suddenly erupted with chaotic energy from within, basically exploding and imploding all at once. Several universe gateways cracked apart completely, ending all life inside them.
As our auras calmed down and the dust settled, Luke let out a heavy breath. He had no injuries, as he had grown more powerful and none of our previous blows, but I could tell he was a little tired. Speaking of being tired, Heavenly Thunder Form was starting to take it's toll. My strength hadn't decreased just yet, but I knew I had maybe a minute or so before I would start rapidly losing energy.
Luke, still breathing heavily, looked at both me and Matt. "You two have absolutely no idea just annoying it is to fight the two of you right now." Luke motioned his arms to the damaged portals and gateways to their respective realities, annoyance clear on his face. "Do you think I came out here, to the in between of the infinite multiverse, to fight you two naïve idealistic fools?"
Something didn't exactly seem right with what Luke said, and it wasn't his stupid villain speech. "Why the hell would you even come out here in the in between of the multiverse? Why not just return home to our original universe, Luke? What exactly does coming out here to other universes even gain you?" I asked the new Titan of Time, completely confused on his motives.
Luke just gave me a disturbing grin, one that seemed to stretch across his entire face. "Why indeed, Zane. With Aposynthesi now in my possession, something that can traverse the infinite multiverse, why would I not scout out worlds for my future empire?" My eyes widened at Lukes words. Future empire?
Luke grinned even deeper something that seemed impossible. "You understand, Zane. Once I defeat the Olympians, kill all of your friends and crush your skull in my bare hands myself, I will turn my attention to the rest of reality." Luke outstretched both of his hands and laughed. "Why settle for only one universe, when I have the tools to make all of them mine!?"
To my left, Matt, seemed completely in shock just how insane Luke's words sounded. "He's completely insane." Matt said it as if it was a complete fact, and honestly, it was. "Taking over all of reality? How conceited and arrogant do you have to be to believe you have anywhere even close to a hell of a chance to even pull that off?"
I stared Luke right in his cracked face. "Matt's right. You actually believe that a whiny child too powerful for his own good can take over all of reality? I guess fusion to someone whose soul and mind was sliced to millions of pieces can make you believe that bullshit. You can't even beat my father, even with that new little farming tool of yours. What makes you think that you can beat the infinite versions of him out there?"
Anger and rage popped up on Luke's face. "Shut up! You two are nothing but two more doubting fools who are trying to keep me from eternity. I have already mantled Kronos, created an army powerful enough to challenge Olympus itself, and now I wield a weapon strong enough to command reality as if it was a toy. Taking over all reality? Nothing but the next challenge in a long line of goals I've achieved."
I scoffed at Luke's delusions of grandeur. "Yeah, sure. Instead of daydreaming about being the king of everything, how about you worry about the challenge in front of you?" I pointed Prometheus' sword at Luke's form and channeled chaotic energy throughout the weapon. Despite my heroic stance and brave words, I knew I couldn't hold my form for much longer. Another clash with Luke could mean my death.
Luke simply smirked at my words, before placing Aposynthesi in a sheath on his back. "Hm…I think I've wasted enough time fighting with you children. Frankly, I've grown too bored of our fights, Zane. And the son of Hercules, well, he is the poster boy of naivety and idealism. Even being within a ten feet radius makes me want to vomit."
Matt scowled at Luke's insult, crossing his arms across his armored breastplate. "Well okay then, Mr. 'Textbook definition of a mustache twirling villain.'" Matt motioned around to the multiverse around us. "And where exactly do you think you're going to go? We're literally in an infinite void of multiversal gateways. Not exactly a lot of hiding places around here."
Luke simply looked at Matt with a smirk that said 'Look at this dumbass motherfucker.' "There's lots of places to hide around here, Matthias Beckett. You just can't seem to look closely and see them." Luke vanished from our vision, disappearing in a burst of speed. He appeared behind me and Matt, causing both of us to jump.
Luke turned his head and grinned, before floating towards the nearest gateway. "Goodbye, clowns." Luke then made contact with the portal, seemingly melding into it. It looked like he was entering a sheet of pure water, before completely disappearing from sight. His aura was gone and everything.
Both me and Matt were silent for a few seconds, simply floating in front of the non-damaged portal Luke had just entered. I looked at Matt. "Did he just go into that universe and leave us here?" My face was a mix between confusion and deadpan.
Matt's face was simply completely deadpan. "Yeah, I think he just did." I sighed, before dropping Heavenly Thunder Form. Secretly, I'm kind of glad Luke got away, as I couldn't hold that form for too much longer anyway. Another couple of minutes or so, I would have been deadweight in the fight.
I sighed again, before pulling out a piece of ambrosia I had nicked from Matt's cabin before we left, wharfing it down quickly. My aura returned to full power and my stamina returned. "We have to follow him. If we just leave him to freely traverse the multiverse, he could kill untold amounts of people and cause irreversible damage." I looked around to the shattered and destroyed portals that had been caused by our battle. "If he hasn't already."
Matt looked at the damage our battle with Luke had caused, as if just noticing it for the first time. Matt was hiding his emotions very well, but I could tell he was enraged right now. Matt's brow furrowed and he gripped his left hand into a fist. "Luke is going to pay for this." He looked back at me. "Let's go get this bastard."
I nodded at Matt's words. "Yes. Lets." I turned back towards the porta, before taking a slight breath. "Alright, we go in on three. One." I grabbed Matt's wrist, and he readied Viribus in his other hand. "Two." I pulled out Prometheus' sword from it's sheathed and tightened my hand around the hilt. "Three."
I pulled Matt with me as I entered the portal, both of us tensing and being ready for anything. As we passed through the gateway, a kaleidoscope of infinite colors filled my vision and an eternal hallway could be seen as we flew through the portal. It felt like eternity, but I could tell it only lasted a few moments. And as soon as it began, it stopped.
Both me and Matt were spat out by a newly formed portal in a tall grassy field in the early afternoon, tumbling on the ground. I groaned slightly, before pulling myself to my feet shakily. Matt did the same, but he was much more composed than I was. I felt my stomach lurch, and I had to stop myself from throwing up.
Matt laughed as I put my hand over my mouth and forced down the puke. He slapped me on the back, the gesture banging off my armor. "First weird multiverse trip? You'd think traveling to my universe twice over would prepare you for that."
I swallowed the last of my vomit and wiped my mouth. "Shut up. Usually the trips aren't anything like that. It's just like a door or something straight to the other reality, not some weird trippy drug hallway." I sheathed Prometheus' sword, as it seemed there was no immediate danger. "Where the hell are we, anyway?"
Matt walked forwards a few feet, towards the edge of the tall grassy field. "This seems eerily familiar." I walked up right next to Matt, eager to see what the hell he was talking about. I quickly got my answer as my gaze followed Matt's. It was a school, a high school by the looks of it. It seemed to maybe be in the last period or block of the day, as the sun was just now starting to set.
I looked at the school, spotting a sign that read 'Olympia High School' nearby. It even said Olympos county on it. I turned back to Matt. "This reminds me of the memory I saw in your mind of Hendricks sending you to another universe where everything was normal." I looked back at the high school, seeing a class of teenagers run around a nearby track. "Is that was this is?"
Matt was silent for a bit, before shaking his head. "If it is, then it doesn't matter. If Luke came here on purpose, it's just to distract and trick us. If not, it's a coincidence. All we need to do is find him." Matt's brow furrowed slightly. "Speaking about that, can you sense his aura anywhere? I'm coming up with nothing."
I shook my head. "Not anything concrete. Luke's probably just hiding his aura right now. However…" I closed my eyes and reached out with my aura sensing, meticulously looking for any speck of Luke's energy. I pointed at the school as I opened my eyes. "He's definitely in the school, or at least he's been there. I can find leftover traces of his aura leading there."
Matt nodded. "Guess we gotta find him on the inside then." Matt then took off his cuirass and cloak, folding the cloak around the cuirass and pulling out a shirt from inside the armor. "We don't need to cause any unnecessary trouble here, so let's just sneak in by acting like regular teenagers."
I looked at Matt dubiously. "You sure that's going to work, man? I mean, look at us. We're both over six feet tall and look like professional bodybuilders. We'd get kicked out the moment we walk in there. Not to mention I literally have a beard."
Matt slipped on his T-shirt and held his folded cloak and cuirass underneath his arm. "Well, I was able to pass as a regular teen last time I was in a normal mortal school. Hell, I still actually go to school. We'll be just fine." He looked at me. "I'm not sure where you're going to store your armor, though. I can just keep my chestplate under my arm and throw it on real quick."
I shook my head. "I'll just go in like this. I don't want Luke catching us unaware and surprising us without my armor on." Matt looked like he was about to protest, but I held up a hand real quick. "Don't worry about people seeing me. I can just use my telepathy to passively brainwash any unshielded minds to see me in regular clothing. Which should be everyone here, unless there is actual divine presence."
Matt was silent for a second before he nodded and threw his cuirass back on. "Alright, that sounds pretty solid. You can do the same for me too, right?" I nodded at Matt's question, something he returned. "Alright. Let's do this then." Matt started to walk towards the school, and I quickly followed him.
As Matt and I approached the school, we walked past a group of students jogging around the nearby outside track. They didn't even look at us, signaling that my telepathy illusion technique worked. We simply walked past the track and right into the gymnasium, where there was dozens of more students.
"Hey!" Both me and Matt heard a deep voice loud enough to crack stone call out only three seconds after we walked into the gym, causing us to tense up. I turned around only to find…Coach Crawford!? I wiped my eyes not believing what I was seeing, but sure enough, nothing changed. Standing right before us was Coach Crawford, who was secretly a Laestrygonian and the first monster I had ever killed.
Coach Crawford was a carbon copy of the version in my universe, or at least his mortal disguise. Seven feet tall and heavily muscled, complete with an ugly face and shaven head. However, unlike my universe's version of Coach Crawford, I could tell this one wasn't a monster. His aura was completely mundane and weak. Nothing special about him at all.
"Did you two hear me? I said, why are you two not wearing your gym clothes?" The coach barked at us, his brow furrowed. Just looking at his face made my blood boil. This guy murdered my first best friend, Jacob. Crushed his torso like aluminum foil.
Just before I was about to do something stupid like yell at him or maybe tear his head clean off like I did to my universe's Crawford, Matt stepped forward. "We're sorry, sir. We had a very pressing emergency we had to attend to. Our aunt had a heart attack."
Crawford's face softened at Matt's explanation, and he grunted. "Hm. Well, guess that's a better excuse than most." Crawford waved us off. "Just go get changed and tell me next time before you run off. I don't need anyone going missing while I'm here. Need to keep this damn job for once." Crawford walked off, leaving me and Matt standing in the middle of the gym.
Matt looked at me. "Are you good, Zane? You looked like you were about to decapitate that guy. Do you know him from somewhere?" Matt started to walk towards the doors of the gym, prompting me to follow him again.
I sighed and nodded. "Yeah. I know that guy. Remember the first time we shared memories, you saw a Laestrygonian kill my first friend, Jacob?" Matt looked like he was trying to remember for a second, and then a lightbulb went off in his head. "That was the guy who was the Laestrygonian. Except…he was mortal here. Completely normal."
Matt looked back at the gym doors that had just closed after we walked through them, his face solemn. "Well, that's the multiverse for you. Some people who are your worst enemies can be just normal people somewhere else. Heh, I bet somewhere out there in the multiverse, Ouranos is a McDonald's worker."
I chuckled, thinking of the ridiculous thought. "I can just imagine him laughing all evil making a McChicken sandwich, thinking about how he just got someone so good because he spit in their food." Matt laughed as well hearing that. I looked around in the locker and student filled hallways. "So what are we looking for anyway?"
Matt surveyed the surroundings with his eyes, looking completely serious. "I'm not too sure, to be honest. Last time I went to a school in another universe, the bad guy found me. And with the bad guy being Luke, I don't think I want that to happen this time."
Before I could say a word, the school bell rung, signaling either then end of a period or the beginning of another one. Students began to pour out from classrooms and into the hallways, all of them moving to a specific area in the school. I looked at Matt. "Should we follow them?"
Matt nodded. "Everyone is going in the same direction, so I assume it's either break time or it's a pep ralley. There will probably be a lot of people there, so it's honestly our best bet to find Luke at the moment. He might make his appearance there."
I nodded in affirmation. "Right. Come on, then." Me and Matt followed the students, which led to us leaving the school again out the main front door. We followed the students through the parking lot and through a pair of massive black gates, which led to a football field and another track.
Matt's assumption had been correct, as it was a pep ralley. We sat in the bleachers with the other students, which numbered in the thousands. Damn, this was a massive high school apparently. Most of the students were talking, interacting and just generally being teenagers. However, in the middle of the field, someone walked up to a podium and tapped the microphone attached to it.
"Can I have your attention, please?" A familiar voice spoke into the microphone, and every single student immediately shut their mouth. I looked at the source of the voice with my enhanced vision, and my eyes widened at who it was. "Thank you." It was my father. In the flesh.
He was different from my actual father, but I could still tell it was him. He looked exactly like my universe's version, only normal sized and not overly muscled. His hair was long and jet black, and his beard that covered his handsome face was speckled with grey and well kept.
"I would like to welcome you all to our Basketball teams seventh pep rally of this session." Wait, why the hell were they having a Basketball pep rally on a football field? My alternate father raised a finger and wagged it around a bit. "I would also ask that you lot behave yourselves this time. I don't need to remind you of the punishment last week's vandals received." I reached out with my telepathy, trying to scry for some information about this universe's version of my dad.
I found quite of bit of it. This version of my dad was named Zeus Panhellenios. Not a title the Greeks called him many thousands of years ago, but his actual legal name. Forty-seven years old and the principal of Olympia High. His secretary was…my mother. Tracy Williams, or Tracy Panhellenios in this universe.
I only scratched the surface of a few students minds and I got all that from a few seconds of telepathic searching. Alternate Zeus was not finished with his speech, however. "Before we get on to anything else, I would like to introduce our team captains for this week's game." Alternate Zeus turned to a new figure, who had walked up by my father's podium. "Coach."
The coach nodded, taking off his cap. My eyes widened and jaw dropped seeing who it was. "Hey, everybody." The new person stepped up to the podium as my father made way for him. "If you don't already know me, I'm Luke Castellan, head coach of the basketball team. I'll introduce the captains real fast and get out of your way."
My mind was going a million miles a second. I know the concept of the multiverse means anything is possible, but Luke, my main big bad guy, a basketball coach? I nearly laughed out loud. I guess there really is a universe where Ouranos is a McDonald's worker.
Matt noticed my snickering and looked confused. "What's funny, dude?"
I tried to contain my laughter, only partially failing. "Heh. It's nothing, dude. It's just Luke is a basketball coach here. Just the idea of the Titan of Time from my universe being something as simply as a basketball coach in this universe is…mind-boggling."
Up on the podium down on the field, Alternate Luke coughed into the mic. "Our first captain, Arthur Wayne!" Cheers erupted from the stands, and I did a double take hearing that. Arthur is here too? After his name was called, Arthur Wayne walked up on stage, clear as day. He looked virtually the same as my universe's version of Arthur, only less muscled and mature.
Alternate Arthur walked up by the podium and held up a peace sign to the crowd. Alternate Luke chuckled a bit, and spoke into the mic again. "Our second captain, Charles Beckendorf!" I shouldn't have been surprised, but I still was. Seeing another version of Beckendorf walk down to the field and stand beside another version of Arthur nearly broke my brain.
This universe's Beckendorf was virtually identical to my universe's version. Same face, same height, same frame, same serious expression, same everything. Honestly, he could have been my universe's Beckendorf and I wouldn't have even noticed, if I didn't sense his mundane aura beforehand. Alternate Beckendorf walked beside Arthur, solemnly nodding towards the crowd.
Alternate Luke cleared his throat again. "And our last captain…Zane Panhellenios!" My brain felt like it was melting as I heard the words leave Alternate Luke's mouth. If the last two captains got a loud pop from the students, this one had a bigger rise than the other two combined. I saw an alternate version of myself stand up from the bleachers and walk down to the podium, and I could barely believe what I was seeing.
My alternate counterpart was clearly different that me. For one, he didn't look anywhere near as old as I was. He had no beard, was about seven inches shorter and was lighter by nearly sixty pounds of muscle. He actually looked fifteen and not like a grown man like me. While I said he was lighter than more by a good bit, he wasn't out of shape. He didn't have much mass, and hell, his definition wasn't crazy either, but he wasn't unhealthy.
His face was like how mine was a couple of years ago. More hot rather than handsome, and pretty androgynes. He was…normal. He wasn't powerful feeling, he didn't have a strong mind, he wasn't heroic. He was just…a normal teenager.
I looked at my alternate self, my jaw no doubt hanging all the way to the floor. "Holy shit…." I watched Alternate Zane walk up by the podium, clapping Alternate Luke on the shoulder as he did so. I turned to Matt, who looked much less astounded than I did. "That's me, but…not me. Is this what you felt when you met those alternate versions of yourself, Matt?"
Matt nodded at my question. "Yeah, I'd say what you're probably feeling right now is pretty similar to what I felt. The mortal version of me, Insano, and the godly future me in that timeline where Ouranos won. All of them nearly made my brain melt just looking at, much less actually contemplating that they really exist."
Back down in the middle of the field, Mortal Luke coughed into the mic again. "Everyone, our captains for tonight's game have something they want to say to all of you, so let's give them the floor." Everyone turned their attention to the captains, and Mortal Zane took Mortal Luke's place at the podium.
Mortal Zane smirked into the mic. "What's up, everybody!?" Mortal Zane nearly shouted into the mic, which got many cheers from the crowd of students in the bleachers. Mortal Zane chuckled and waved his hand. "Settle down, everybody. Don't want to make my dad too angry, now do we?"
By the track with the other teachers, which I just now noticed were the other Olympians in mortal form, my mortal father smiled good naturedly, before waving the attention off. Mortal Zane took it in stride and continued. "Well, anyway, hope to see all of you at tonight's big game. We're going to smash the Titans and send them packing back to Othrys!"
The students in the bleachers around us erupted into even more cheers, almost shaking the stands themselves. Huh, I guess this version of myself is a real celebrity here. Mortal Zane gave the crowd a salute. "I'll catch you at the game tonight! I have a bet that I'll score forty points. Later, everybody!"
Mortal Zane then walked away from the podium, with Mortal Arthur and Mortal Beckendorf following right behind him. The crowd cheered once more as they walked back up into the stands with them, shaking the bleachers once more. Mortal Luke spoke into the mic once more. "Let's hear it one last time for tonight's captains!"
The crowd's cheering reach an all-time peak, making it almost deafening to hear. Beside me, Matt chuckled at the student's antics. "I guess this version of you is also a massive showman, Zane. And really popular, too. He's got literally everyone here blowing their lungs out just from a few sentences."
I nodded in agreement with a slight smile. "Yeah. Really makes me think if this is how I'd be if I never found out I was a demigod." The thought was pretty intriguing to me. I mean, just think, what if Crawford had never killed Jacob and exposed me to the divine world? Would I also be some sort of basketball star? Some kind of school celebrity?
My thoughts about my alternate self made me curious about what his aura felt like. Yeah, he was probably just a regular mortal like everybody else, but wouldn't it be really cool if he turned out to also be some Titan slaying demigod hero, too? I reached out with my aura sense around Mortal Zane's energy, and I found something incredibly surprising.
No, my mortal self was not secretly even more powerful than I was. No, his aura was normal, completely mundane and powerless. But what was permeating around his aura was shocking. It was Luke's energy. Not the mortal Luke from this reality, but the Luke we had just fought to the death with in the infinite void of the multiverse.
Luke's energy was around Mortal Zane like a bunch of spider webs. That either meant Luke had somehow disguised himself as my Mortal self, or he had secretly been around him quite often. Likely the second one. My eyes immediately darted in the direction I had last seen Mortal Luke, only to find him completely missing. His aura was gone as well, as if he just straight up vanished.
Matt noticed the intense focus on my face, and he raised an eyebrow. "Yo, dude? You good? What is it?"
"Focus your aura sensing on my alternate self real quick." Matt's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but he did what I asked. "Now tell me, what does that feel like?" Matt's eyes widened before he looked back at me.
"Luke." He breathed out, before he clenched his fist. "Either he's replaced himself as this version of you, or he's been stalking your mortal counterpart pretty heavily. What about this universe's version of Luke?"
I shook my head at the Son of Hercules' question. "He's gone. As soon as I found Luke's trace energy on my alternate self's aura, I tried to get eyes on Mortal Luke. But he vanished, gone without a single trace. I think he was the one who got replaced by Luke, not my mortal self."
Matt hummed in thought, before his eyes landed on my mortal self again, who had taken a seat with the rest of the basketball team. "Well, if you're right, then he's not exactly just going to come to us. We need to find a way to get to him. And if he's apparently been spending enough time around this universe's version of you to have his aura surround your counterpart…" Matt trailed off.
I knew exactly where Matt was going with this. "Then my Mortal self can likely lead us to Luke. As soon as the pep rally ends, we follow my Mortal self until we find Luke." Matt nodded in agreement, and now all we had to do was wait.
The rest of the pep rally went by relatively quickly. There was a few games that the cheerleaders led, but neither me nor Matt paid any real attention. Our focus was clearly on Mortal Zane and trying to locate either Mortal Luke or our Luke. Eventually, the pep rally ended and the students started to return to the school en masse.
Me and Matt shadowed Mortal Zane, using our incomprehensible speed to keep pace and my telepathy to stay out of the mortal version of me's sight. We followed Mortal Zane into the school gym and after that, the locker room. Mortal Zane was the only one inside, with the locker room being completely clear of any other Basketball players. Or that's what we thought at first.
Mortal Zane sat on one of the nearby changing benches and tossed his bookbag down beside him. Me and Matt hid around the corner away from the mortal version of myself, staying completely out of his sight. Eventually, the locker room door opened, causing Mortal Zane to turn his head towards it.
Mortal Zane's face lit up in recognition of who it was. "Ah, Coach Castellan. You finally showed up." Mortal Zane stood up from the bench and stretched his neck. "So what was so important that you needed to talk to me in private for? Am I not doing well enough on the court?"
Mortal Luke, who had been the one who had entered the locker room stood in the doorway in complete silence, shooting my suspicions through the roof. I reached out with my aura sense around Mortal Luke's aura in alarm, only to find nothing out of the ordinary. "Uh…coach? You okay? You haven't been messing around with the edibles again, right?"
Mortal(?) Luke chuckled at Mortal Zane's words, before staring at him with a slight smirk. "You're just as annoying, naïve and conceited as the Zane I know." Alarms blared off in my mind as I heard those words, confirming my suspicions. Luke's face fell into a serious expression and he raised a hand. "Die, pathetic clown."
I grabbed hold of Thymos, immediately shifting into Heavenly Thunder Form as quickly as possible. Moving at trillions of times the speed of light, carefully as to not create at shockwave that could destroy the planet, I appeared right in front of Luke's face and slammed my fist directly into his right cheek. Luke reacted just in time to roll with the punch, which sent him smashing through the walls and flying off into the atmosphere in an instant.
When my perception of speed returned to normal, a burst of shock energy erupted from my, shooting open all the nearby lockers and cracking the remaining walls. The force floored Mortal Zane, knocking him down almost immediately. Matt appeared by the fallen Mortal Zane's side, helping him back to his feet. "Are you alright?"
Mortal Zane was shell shocked, and could barely say anything for a few seconds, stuttering over his words. Eventually, he found his confusion and outrage. "A-Am I alright? What the fuck just happened!?" Mortal Zane pushed himself away from Matt and looked at the massive wall crater. "Why did my coach just act like that? Who the hell are you? Who the fuck is he!? Do you two have superpowers or something!?"
Mortal Zane was freaking out, and we couldn't have that. I could just wipe his memories of us and Luke with my telepathy, but it just felt wrong violating the mind of my alternate self. "Hey, calm down." I put an aura covered arm on Mortal Zane's shoulder, using my telepathy to send feelings of security and certainty towards the terrified mortal. "It's okay. That wasn't Luke, or at least the Luke you know."
Mortal Zane looked completely lost, but he was calmed down now. "'The Luke that I know?' What are you talking about?" His eyes widened as he seemingly finally noticed the Universal Titanium armor I was wearing, as well as Thymos and Prometheus' sword. "Woah, are you wearing knight armor? And holy shit, that sword is gigantic! Who are you?"
Matt, realizing that Mortal Zane could see my armor and my weapons, facepalmed. "Zane, you said you could mask us with your telepathy from mortals. Why can he even see you at all, much less your armor and weapons?"
Before I could even respond to Matt, Mortal Zane's jaw dropped. "How do you know my name, and what the hell are you talking about?" Mortal Zane's eyes widened and he slowly looked at me. He analyzed my face, before realization came up on his expression. "Holy shit….are you-?"
I cut him off, putting a firm hand on his shoulder. "Yes. I'm you. Or at least, a different version of you. There are some clear differences." I smirked as I spoke, motioning between me and him. My face then turned serious, and I squeezed his shoulder slightly. "Listen, Zane. You need to get the absolute hell out of here right now. Leave the school and go home."
Mortal Zane had so many different emotions and thoughts running through his unshielded mind, but he was able to understand what I said. "Why? You already beat that evil version of Coach Castellan, right? I mean, you literally punched him through a wall." As if on cue, Luke immediately appeared right in front of us, ripping through another wall with a thundercrack. Mortal Zane nearly fell down. "Holy shit!"
Luke, a developing bruise on his face, looked absolutely pissed. "Zane and Matt. I was wondering when you two would show up here. You didn't immediately follow me through the portal and even gave me enough time to impersonate my double here and take his place."
With Luke's words, the false illusion of non-cracked skin faded away, revealing his normal appearance, along with Aposynthesi. Luke's face of rage was mixed with one of mocking. "What, did Zane have to get a bit of a breather after using that little chaos form of his for five minutes? Really says a lot about how you'd perform in the bedroom."
I didn't respond to Luke's taunt at all and simply glared at him. "Well, if you must know you universe destroying psychopath, we did follow in right after you. I guess the flow of time works differently in this dimension or something." I turned my gaze to my alternate self. "Get out of here, now. You're going to die if you stay here."
Luke's smirk turned into a downright evil grin. "Oh, you don't have to worry about leaving here, weakling version of Zane. You're going to die regardless." A sickly orange and dark blue aura erupted from Luke. "Just. Like. This." Luke touched the ground with his aura covered foot. Nothing happened for a half second, but that quickly changed.
In almost and instant, the ground became covered in Luke's energy around his foot. Suddenly, the energy expanded all around him, completely enveloping everything in sight. The energy did absolutely nothing to me and Matt, however, Mortal Zane was instantly atomized. His entire frame was just quickly covered in the energy, and then he was completely gone. Nothing left.
The energy didn't stop after murdering my alternate self. No. With my aura sense, I could feel the energy quickly erupt throughout the entire high school, reducing it to ash within milliseconds. But once again, Luke's energy didn't stop there. I felt his aura erupt around the entire planet, spreading to every corner of the world.
After all this occurred in less than half a second, the ground beneath us crumbled away into nothing, being completely annihilated by Luke's energy completely. Luke's energy simply went absolutely everywhere, destroying everything in a near instant in all directions.
After only three seconds after Luke spoke to the now dead Mortal Zane, the entire planet was gone. Completely. There wasn't even space dust or small rocks left. This version's Earth was completely gone. Me, Matt and Luke simply floated in space, with Luke's foot being outstretched and a fucking smile on the monster's face.
Both me and Matt were completely shell shocked into silence, neither of us saying anything yet. Eventually, I broke it. "Did….did you just destroy the entire planet with a foot touch?" It was a rhetorical question, as I literally saw it happen in the blink of an eye. I…had no words. I knew our kind were powerful, with us being the prime examples, but…all of Earth, everything from all of Mankind and everything I knew, gone in an instant with no effort.
Luke simply looked at me with that same fucking smirk on his face. "Yes. I did. I destroyed it with absolutely no effort. I can literally breath harder than the effort I put it without even trying." Luke threw out both of his arms in his classic villain pose. "This is the power I can bring forth from my hands! The power that we can bring forth, Zane."
Matt, who had been completely quiet about what Luke had just did, finally spoke. "Y-You…killed everyone." Matt's words were softly spoken, but I didn't even need empathy sensing or telepathy to tell that furious rage burned through the Son of Hercules. Matt reached for Viribus, pulling it out of it's necklace form. "You son of a bitch…" Matt quickly brought out the Master Bolt again, charging his aura with it. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
Red and Blue energy erupted from Matt as he flew at Luke at full speed, swing a Master Bolt enhanced Viribus right towards Luke's temple. Luke brought Aposynthesi up to block Matt's attack, Adam Tree slamming against Heavenly Diamond. The force that was created by the two weapons instantly obliterated the entire solar system, as I saw the Sun immediately vanish, along with Earth's nearby moon. Hundreds of other nearby Stars suddenly died out as well.
Matt was in an absolute berserking frenzy. "You fucking monster! You just killed an entire planet of innocent, helpless mortals! And for what!? Why did you kill all of them!?" Matt slammed the Master Bolt and Viribus against Luke's guard millions of times in the span of a second, creating even more powerful shockwaves that extinguished even more of the nearby stars. "WHY!?"
Luke dodged a swing from Matt and slammed his fist into the Son of Hercules' chest. Matt flew back towards me with a grunt, quickly catching himself. "Because you two pathetic idealistic heroes don't understand!" Luke pointed to himself. "I…am a god. You two…are basically gods. We are so far beyond those insects I just annihilated, it's not even funny."
Luke floated around in the void of space, barely even illuminated as most of the nearby stars had been atomized. "We, in only a few seconds of confrontation, we just shattered the Milky Way into millions of pieces. And the son of Hercules was containing the force of his blows! We are beings far beyond the comprehension, beyond the scope….of these pathetic creatures."
Luke motioned to nothing with his open arm. "And that…brings me to why I snuffed out their lives. Simple really. Because I could." My eyes widened at Luke's dumbass reason. He killed seven billion people because he could? Because he felt like it? What kind of monster had Luke become? "And it's why I despise what you two fools are. You restrain yourselves."
Luke quickly elaborated on his words, giving no time for confusion to form. "You hold back. You don't fight with everything you have, not truly." Luke looked at me, a glare on his face. "Zane. If you had stopped holding back, you would have killed me back in the Sea of Monsters. And on Atlas' mountain. You could have ended the Second Titan War before it even started."
Luke quickly whirled his attention to Matt. "And you, Matthias Beckett, could have saved your father, had you not held back your true potential after unlocking your powers." Matt's eyes widened in surprise. "Surprised I know about that? Ouranos told me some things about you. If you had truly embraced your divine heritage as a child rather than hiding from the world, your father would probably still be alive."
Matt's face looked completely downcast at Luke's words, but Luke wasn't even done. "You two, held back by your pathetic values and morals and dedication to your friends, will always falter when it matters the most. Unlike me. As I use my power to it's fullest, I will always be one step ahead."
I glared at the Titan, completely pissed by his words. "Luke, you're talking absolute nonsense. 'Always be one step ahead?' Bitch, please. You've literally run away with your tail between your legs in literally every major confrontation, usually from me. Me and my friends from Camp have beat your ass black and blue every time you've stepped to us."
Veins on Luke's head bulged as I spoke, rage clearly running through him. "That was before. That was before I truly started to understand what it meant to be the King of The Titans. Back before I really realized the scope of my power. Things are different now, as you can see." Luke motioned to Aposynthesi, which gleamed with chaotic power.
Luke looked back at me with a glare. "As for your friends, well, I'll show you just how useless they are in the grand scheme of things, Zane. Just you wait." Luke immediately slashed the air with his Heavenly Diamond scythe, creating another portal to the multiversal hub. Luke flew straight into it without another word.
Me and Luke immediately followed behind the Titan of Time, flying as fast as we could through the multiverse. We passed by several portals, some of them displaying images of the realities inside. I saw images of Percy, the Percy I knew from my universe, fighting….Malachi? I saw another universe where the Olympians were a group of…superheroes? Some of the sights I saw were mind-boggling.
Eventually, Luke flew into a portal at random, completely disappearing inside. Matt and I followed through, the two of us seeing the infinite colors of reality take over our vision for a few seconds. Once the familiar sight stopped, Both me and Matt were shot out of the portal onto a street.
I stood up from the ground, dusting myself off. I reached out with my aura sensing, predictably finding no Luke. Hell, I couldn't even detect a thing. Not a single lifeform, divine or mortal. Matt stood up beside me, looking around at our surroundings. "Oh….shit." The son of Hercules uttered.
The reality we had landed in was some kind of post-apocolyptic New York, with the sky orange and red, the buildings heavily damaged and destroyed, and dead bodies and gore completely filling the street. I turned to the son of Hercules. "Matt? What do you mean: 'Oh shit?' What has you so worried?"
My answer was in the form of a growl nearby, which sounded like it came from some kind of horrific animal. I turned my head and my eyes widened. A very familiar yet unfamiliar frame came into view, and the smell of dead flesh filled my nose. "Oh."
Pretty good, huh? Looks like some familiar faces from that multiverse chaper in Book three will return. I wonder who else we'll see? Either way, hope you guys liked this. There's only a couple more to go!
Until Next Time.
