(Start of Story/Author Notes)

Hello my fellow Followers of Chaos! Time for another chapter of Bloodstained Flames!

Now I'll be honest, I made this fanfic at random and because the Plot Bunnies wouldn't leave me alone. *stares at a random plot bunny whistling innocently but has a list of fanfic ideas in its paws* So this story wasn't fully planned out, but hey, has a fanfic ever been planned out from the start?

Anyway, while I was taking a break after I posted the first chapter I had some talks with CrazyPets about the Guardian Set that Tsuna will have and this is what we came up with for the final.

Storm- Ingrid (Storm-Cloud)

Lightning- Yoruichi Shihoin (Bleach) and Roronoa Zoro (One Piece, Lightning-Storm)

Rain- Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach), Takeshi Yamamoto and Mizore Shirayuki (Rosario+Vampire)

Sun- Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado (Demon Slayer, Tanjiro is a Sun-Rain while Nezuko is a Sun-Storm)

Cloud- Moka Akashiya (Rosario+Vampire, Cloud-Mist) and Mash Kyrielight (Fate, Cloud-Mist)

Mist- Kurumu Kurono (Rosario+Vampire, Mist-Storm), Chrome Dokuro and maybe

Mukuro Rokudo

Don't worry though, Hayato Gokudera, Kyoya Hibari and Ryohei Sasagawa are still gonna be in the group, but they're gonna have a wakeup call and work out their issues especially Hibari.

Mukuro on the other hand, I do not trust the creepy pineapple and regardless of what happened to him with the Estraneos, will be put under a thralldom of sorts to keep him on a tight leash. Never mind that he resembles Demon Spade, the fact that he wanted to plunge the world into chaos by starting a World War and invoke suffering pretty much means he can't be trusted.

And regardless of the 10 year Bazooka, Lambo isn't gonna be in the group. I don't care that he's immune to Lightning or whatever, he's just a kid and shouldn't be involved in Mafia Battles.

Well that's it, TIME TO START THE SHOW!

Chapter 2

Palace of Darkness, Yomihara, Japan

It's been 8 years since Tsuna was taken in by his Grandfather Edwin Black and a lot has changed. Gone was the clumsy 7 year old who couldn't do right and got bullied by other kids and in his place was a confident young man who wouldn't take shit from anybody, not even from his own so-called father Iemistu if the blonde bastard ever decided to show his face in Japan.

He had dropped the name Sawada and instead taken his grandfather's last name as a way of thanks for taking him in when he visited and discovered the seal placed on him all those years ago.

He had to admit, between educating and training him, Edwin was quite the taskmaster when it came to both but knew when to be patient and understanding if the Dhampir had trouble with something. Don't get him wrong though, he knew that the Primal Vampire only took him in because of the power he had and the fact he found the flames to be useful enough to take an interest in.

However, he also knew that the old Vampire cared about him. Just in his own way, especially when it came to training with his flames.

Speaking of the Flames. Doctor Sabato referred to them as the rarest type of flame known as Sky Flames and were known to act as a spiritual glue of sorts by bringing people together through enacting its ability, Harmony. Through Harmony, he would be able to gather several people of different flame types and put together what was known as a Guardian Set.

(When asked how he knew about flames in general, the Demon Doctor simply said it was his foster father who educated him and his sister about them but never went into full detail and only told the bare minimum due to being so dedicated to his work.)

His first Guardian was Ingrid, who was his Storm Guardian.

It certainly explained why he had such a close relationship with the woman. The dark skinned demoness was rather protective of him especially when he was younger and acted almost like an older sister of sorts that he never had. Of course as he got older, the relationship turned into a romantic one though all he did currently with the Hell Knight was some light petting, kissing and the rare movie date night.

Considering he heard from others like Kaliya and Doctor Sabato that Ingrid once had an unrequited love for his grandfather before it switched over to him, he could understand that the human-like demon wanted to take things slow and not do anything too serious.

However, she did say that she was willing to take things further once he turned 16 or when he graduated High School, whichever came first didn't matter much to her. She also said she would be willing to share him with other girls that interested him as long as they remembered that she was first.

For a Storm-Cloud mix, she was rather calm and collected at times but could also be rather scary when she wanted something.

Or when some idiot at NOMAD messed something up and she had to fix it all the while yelling at them.

Today was the day he went back to Namimori.

He had to admit, living with his grandfather was the best thing that could have ever happened to him.

Sure, the old vampire was secretive at times and seemingly unfazed to the point it seemed like not a lot bothered him regardless if it were something like a deal not working out or a rival businessman trying yet failing to intimidate him. Not to mention what really went on with NOMAD.

He had seen the Demon and Chaos Arenas and participated a couple times in unofficial fights in both of them that were off-screen. Usually killing Orcs, Goblins, Trolls and other undesirable demons that nobody would've cared about since most of them were aggressive and highly belligerent or just thought they were all that until they fought against someone stronger.

Between the fights and using the altar (which housed the statue of a vampire woman known as Mother Lamae) to pray and increase his Vampire Blood along with training, Tsuna could say that he was stronger than most pureblood vampires.

Walking out of his room, he went to the one across from his and knocked on the door. "Chrome are you ready?" He called out and after hearing a squeak of embarrassment the door opened and out came a girl a year younger than him with short, purple hair shaped in a pineapple and violet eyes. She was wearing a black sailor uniform that showed her midriff.

This was Chrome Dokuro. Originally named Nagi, Tsuna met her during a Charity Event he had attended with his grandfather alongside Ingrid and Oboro and the Dhampir noticed how the shy looking girl blended into the background at times particularly when her mother was around. And from the looks that the woman had given her it was obvious she was attempting to marry the girl off to someone or something similar.

Feeling concerned for the violet haired girl, he'd talked to her and let her shadow him around while he conversed with the others. After the event ended, either by strange luck or Edwin suddenly having an odd sense of humor, it was revealed that there was a betrothal contract between him and her.

Tsuna had a feeling that Black had convinced the actress to write it up between them. Either way, Chrome was relieved as she feared being married off to someone old enough to be her father or with less than noble intentions.

Ingrid and her got along pretty well with the Hell Knight apparently taking the young girl under her wing and teaching her how to use weapons suited for her. And that was before they learned that the girl had Mist Flames which were quite similar to Magic in a way.

"Y-yes I am my beloved." She stuttered out with a light blush to her face. She seemed to have developed a habit of calling him by affectionate nicknames or just trying to be affectionate in general even though she didn't need to do it in the first place. "Is it that time already?"

"Yes it is." Tsuna said, blushing slightly from embarrassment. "Be sure to tell Tanjiro and Nezuko to get ready. I'll go down to the lab and see if Mash is up and I'm sure Zoro is either sleeping off a hangover or fighting in the Demon Arena." He said the last part with a snicker and Chrome giggled, thinking the moss haired demon is either drunk or picking fights.

The elevator ride down to the lab was short.

As Tsuna entered the facility, he noticed that Mash was awake but was laying in a medical chair overlooked by Doctor Sabato who was running a diagnostic scan on her while checking something on his laptop.

To his annoyance, Fulst was also there overlooking the scan and making 'tsk-tsked' noises while sporting a typical arrogant smirk on his face.

Now Tsuna didn't have a problem with the renaissance-looking man and was willing to ignore him, but what really bothered the Dhampir the most about Fulst was his arrogance and self-assuredness in believing that he was the most important member of NOMAD. Not to mention his near obsessive loyalty to his grandfather and disdain towards anyone who he felt was 'in his way' or 'unworthy of Lord Black'.

And to his dismay, the fat and near balding man's loyalty to Edwin extended to him as well.

"Hello there Tsuna." Sabato said casually as he looked up to the half-Vampire briefly before returning to his work. "Just doing a routine check-up on Mash before she heads out with you and the others."

"Show some respect boy!" Fulst said rather arrogantly at Sabato before turning to Tsuna and bowing. "My apologies young Lord, we had no idea you were coming down today but rest assured that your most loyal servant Homunculus Shielder is in prime condition!" He ranted rather passionately as Tsuna stared at him.

"Her name's Mash Kyrielight and she's a friend not a servant." He said in a deadpanned tone that made Doctor Sabato and Mash chuckle while Fulst looked like he was about to choke on a lemon. "Don't you have some important work to do other than hovering over Doctor Sabato?"

"O-of c-course m-my young lord." The Hell Tech Pioneer sputtered out feeling rather incredulous. "I-I w-was just m-m-making sure t-that he did his work c-c-correctly…" He was cut off by Tsuna who was now glaring at him, eyes blazing.

"Fulst I don't care what excuses you make. Just go and do your damn job!" He nearly hissed out and Fulst stuttered weakly before leaving the lab.

"You don't like him much do you, Tsuna?" The Demon Doctor asked as he finished Mash's check-up with the lilac-haired Homunculus getting up from the chair.

"I find his near obsessive loyalty to my grandfather and to a lesser extent to me to be rather repulsive." Tsuna said as he walked up to Mash and patted her head causing her to giggle and blush. "Regardless of him being one of the founders of Hell Tech Research, his arrogant attitude annoys and pisses off everyone. Not to mention he antagonizes Ingrid and claims that she is not 'worthy' of me or whatever the hell he's talking about." He said the last part with sarcasm.

For all his intelligence, Fulst was a fucking idiot at times with an overinflated ego that was bound to get him killed.

Doctor Sabato sighed. "I know Tsuna, I know, Master Fulst has had several complaints levied against him by others about his behavior but don't worry. If he tries anything then Lord Black will have him removed permanently." He said with a glint in his eyes.

Tsuna just smirked at that. "Good, well anyways, how has contacting your foster father been? Has he called back yet?" He asked.

The Demon Doctor shook his head. "Not too well that's for sure." He told the half-vampire. "He is a man so dedicated to Science and Research it's almost impossible for anything else to catch his interest. However, I left a message about Hell Technology and the Master-Servant Project that Mash is a part of so hopefully that would interest him well enough to take part in… or at least visit if only for input." He said the last part with a deadpan snark and Tsuna snickered at that.

It sounded like Sabato's foster father was quite the workaholic from the way he spoke about him.

Then again, Doctor Verde was known as the World's Smartest Scientist so it wasn't too far fetched.

Tsuna left the lab with Mash in tow to go look for Zoro, but not before Sabato told him "Be sure to give Mash plenty of mana transfers to keep up her reserves!" while smirking mischievously.

The Dhampir blushed slightly at that thought while Mash laughed but smirked at him suggestively. Considering the Cloudy-Mist was a special type of Homunculus known as a Servant which required a certain amount of energy to function and fight, he often gave her his blood to satisfy her or gave her some special massages.

Didn't really stop Mash from giving him a blow job almost every morning. Not that he complained since Ingrid would join in at times.

Finding Zoro was rather easy, at first Tsuna thought he was in his room sleeping off a hangover but his senses told him that the green haired swordsman was down at the Demon Arena fighting and killing other demons.

When he and Mash got there, the arena was mostly empty save for a few female demon slavers in the audience section along with Kaliya and Oboro who were watching Zoro fight three giant Minotaur Demons while using a rather unique and obscure sword style known as Three Sword Style.

"Hey, Oboro. Hey Kaliya." Tsuna greeted the two demonic ladies as he and Mash took some seats next to them and watched the fight. Looking at the bloodied and bruised bull-like demons, it was obvious that the fight was going on for a while and Zoro was just messing around and not taking them seriously.

Judging from the cocky smirk on his face as he dodged their attacks while slashing at them with his swords, it was pretty obvious that he was messing with them.

"Hello there dear." Said Oboro as she looked over to Tsuna and Mash. "So it's really that time huh? Funny how time flies, I remember you as this adorable little kid who clung to Lord Black or Ingrid if she were around." She mused in a joking manner.

"Hehe, yeah…" Tsuna dryly said with a sweat drop. When he was younger he was kinda scared of the Rogue Taimanin since he thought she was rather scary and her teasing never really helped. However, she was polite and nice to him albeit in her own way despite the odd rivalry she had with Ingrid.

Kaliya on the other hand…

"~Ara Ara~, How many times do I have to tell you to call me Kali-onee-sama?" The Snake Woman pouted as she hugged the half-vampire rather tightly to her chest causing him to blush and Mash to get jealous. "Do you really have to leave? Things will be so boring around here without you and Zoro-kun." She nearly whined.

"Y-yes! I-I have… to go back to Namimori to finish High School." Tsuna said as he tried to escape the Lamia's tight embrace. "T-there's… also the s-subject of f-finding m-more… Guardians for me!"

"Oh who needs human school anyway! I know that Edwin signed you up for Online Classes as part of your homeschooling so there's no need to go back to your town." Kaliya countered while smiling. "And I'm sure you can find more of your fire elementals amongst the demons. I know a lovely looking Naga by the name of Medusa who would absolutely love you~." She teased.

"Actually, Doctor Sabato mentioned that humans are more likely to awaken Dying Will Flames than Demons due to their inner resolve and blood." Countered Mash as she glared at the older woman. "While it's rare, Demons are more inclined to use their natural abilities and magic in lieu of the flames unless they awaken them early or are exposed to them." She explained and grabbed Tsuna from Kaliya's embrace just to hug him instead. "And stop trying to hug master so much you creepy old lady!"

"~Ara Ara~, is someone jealous?" Kaliya teased with a sadistic glint in her eye. "Oh don't worry little Homunculi I won't take him away from you and the others, but I wouldn't mind playing with such a cutie like you~."

"Snake Lady behave." Oboro chided the Naga with a light bop on her head, causing her to whine and pout. "Have more faith in Tsuna's ability to find those who will be loyal to him regardless if they're human or demon. Also, the fight has ended."

The violet haired woman was right. During their conversation, Zoro performed a sword technique called Tatsu Maki (Dragon Twister) which caused a dragon-like tornado to appear and sliced up the three Minotaurs killing them instantly along with wrecking the arena's floor a bit.

And judging from the clapping in the audience, it certainly made quite the impression as always whenever the green haired demonic swordsman participated in the fights.

"Well, looks like that's our queue to go now." Tsuna said as he and Mash got up and walked out to join up with Zoro who was waiting for them at the exit along with Chrome and what looked like Tanjiro and Nezuko who arrived. "Nice talking to you two. I'll be sure to call if anything comes up."

"Oh you better sweetie, otherwise you'll have to answer to me!" Kaliya said in a threateningly teasing tone, but Tsuna sensed that she was concerned for him.

"Like Kaliya said, but just try to be careful." Oboro said with a smirk and ruffled the half-vampire's hair a bit, causing him to hiss in annoyance. Then she turned rather serious. "While the Mafia is no match for NOMAD, there's still the matter of the Taimanin threatening to snoop around and make a mess of things. If you spot someone looking out of place or wearing one of their body suits while in Namimori, have your Guardians with you. You may never know if they'll send in a veteran-level Taimanin if they decide you're a threat due to being Lord Black's grandson." She warned.

Tsuna winced, but nodded. While he had training and sparred with Oboro at times to get a feel at how a Taimanin fights, he wasn't exactly sure how he would fare against one with experience.

Either way, he did feel confident that he could hold his own if it came down to a fight.

It felt good to be back in Namimori.

Seeing his mother again after so many years was quite nice, though he ignored her teasing of him over the fact that most of his guardians were cute girls.

Ingrid, who drove them, stuck around for a while mainly to talk to his mother before heading back to work, kissed him on the forehead and told him to behave while she was gone.

"What a nice woman Ingrid-san is." Nana said with a giggle as she went into the kitchen to make lunch for him and his friends.

"Gotta say Captain, your mom's pretty nice." Zoro said with a grin as he sat in a chair in the living room while the others sat on the couch. "Hard to believe she's related to Black at all."

Tsuna rolled his eyes at Zoro's nickname for him. "Well, mama's always been like that. Being kind and rather compassionate to others. Course though she does have her limits, especially for a certain blonde bastard if he decides to show his face again." He said with a scowl and his guardians knew who he was talking about.

Zoro scowled as well. "Yeah, Iemitsu kinda reminds me of my old captain's grandfather. Garp was just as obnoxious, arrogant and stupid as he is with the main difference being that he could back up his threats considering he was one of the strongest in the Navy back then." He explained.

"Well whatever the case may be, we shouldn't act rashly if that man returns." Tanjiro said rather calmly with Nezuko nodding, but there was a sadistic glint in their eyes when Iemitsu was brought up. "Remember, he is part of the mafia and is possibly a high-ranking member of sorts. The mafia may have something that we don't have access to and could use it against us if we act too reckless and try to kill him."

Everyone agreed to that, though Zoro grumbled a bit as the moss haired Lightning wanted to see if there were any competent swordsmen among the mafioso.

Soon lunch was made and everyone dug in, clearly enjoying the older Dhampir's cooking.

(End of Story/Author Notes)

Looks like Tsuna's back in town and has brought some friends with him. How will Namimori handle a Dhampir who won't take shit from anyone and what adventures will he have? You'll just have to wait and see.

Here's the back stories on how Tsuna acquired his current Guardians besides Ingrid and Chrome.

Roronoa Zoro: 18th Century Swordsman turned Pirate. Became a Demon due to his terrible sense of direction that caused him to pass through an unknown Demon Gate in the Caribbean into the Demon World/Dark World, causing him to slowly turn into a Demon over the years. Became Tsuna's Lightning Guardian when he entered the Demon Arena without meaning to and joined up with the Dhampir in a double battle against other Demons and won. Is a master of the Three-Sword Style and a user of a rare power known as Haki. Strong enough to rival Edwin Black and doesn't like the Primal Vampire very much, choosing only to follow his grandson and no one else. Has a habit of referring to Tsuna as Captain at times due to the Dhampir reminding him of his old Pirate Captain. Likes to drink, fight and has a bit of a rivalry with Ingrid leading to shouting matches sometimes.

Mash Kyrielight: A special type of Homunculus created to study Dying Will Flames. She is part of a special program called the Master-Servant Project overseen by Doctor Kiryu Sabato and a few others to see if they can bring back people from the past by putting them in Homunculi bodies. Is bonded with Tsuna and is quite loyal to him along with being very strong due to the large shield she carries around.

Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado: A twin pair of Demons found by Tsuna when he went on a hike with Ingrid in the mountains when he was twelve. Despite looking like teens, the twins were born during the Taisho Period and thus are older than they look. Both used to be human, but through tragedy, Nezuko was turned into a Demon by a self-proclaimed Demon King named Muzan while Tanjiro was out selling charcoal. Tanjiro traveled around with Nezuko and joined up with the Demon Slayers Corps, slaying demons and trying to find a cure until a final battle between the Demon Slayers and Muzan resulted in the Demon's death but Tanjiro was turned in the process.

Tanjiro is a Demonic Swordsman and a master of two styles of an obscure form of swordsmanship known as Breathing. Has taught Tsuna the Breathing Style Hinokami Kagura (Dance of the Fire God, Sun Breathing). Nezuko on the other hand is a proficient user of a specialized form of Blood Magic known as the Blood Demon Arts. Can generate and manipulate special demonic flames from her blood that are pinkish in color that hamper the regeneration of demons and burn off toxins and poisons.

While the twins are nice and kind to others, they can show cruelty and sadism if they have to.

Also, here are the women that will be part of Tsuna's Harem.
