Gwyneth sighed and rubbed her forehead in frustration as she stared down a slightly terrified Owen. "TK said he saw you at the wedding but why are you haunting us?" her ex-husband questioned.

"Because my baby's happy and I think you deserve some happiness too, you idiot," she snapped, rubbing her forehead.

"You're trying to set me up with someone?" He scrunched his nose up in disbelief, slightly confused about her behavior. "Weird reason to haunt your ex-husband, Gwyn. Is this revenge?"

Gwyenth crossed her arms and glared at him. "I hate you," she deadpanned.

"Right back at you," he shot back with a grin on his face, relaxing just a little bit. "So, who do you want to set me up with? Give it your best shot."

"You're not going to make this easy for me?" Gwyneth rhetorically asked. Sighing, she continued. "That asshole, Billy."

Owen could only blink at her in shock. "What?"

"You heard me."

"Billy Tyson? That Billy? What the fuck?" Owen questioned, his voice rising.

"Tone it down, will you?" She made her way over to him and lightly smacked his head, ignoring the glare he gave her for her troubles. "Call him and invite the man over for a drink," she encouraged.

"You're not going to give up, are you?"

"Not at all!" she cheerfully responded and then waited expectantly for Owen to make a move.

He tried to stall for a little while but got tired of Gwyneth fucking with his shit around the house so he finally gave in and texted Billy, who surprisingly agreed to come over.

When he arrived the next afternoon, Gwyneth was waiting in the wings and gave Owen a thumbs up. "Haven't heard from you in a while. What's this about - you need anything?" asked a suspicious Billy.

"What makes you think I need anything?" At the look on Billy's face, Owen could only sigh. "Not this time. Shut up," he shot back as they sat down on the couch. Owen tried to ignore Gwyneth's presence, which was rather hard when she kept trying to eavesdrop. He hoped his ex-wife wouldn't haunt him for much longer - he wasn't sure how much more of this he could take.

"Good game," Billy muttered as he took a sip of his beer.

"Yeah," Owen responded, at a loss for words. Gwyneth only rolled her eyes.

"Fuck it." Ignoring Billy's look of confusion, Owen surged forward, knocking the bottle out of Billy's hand, and kissed him.

"Let's do that again," a surprisingly jovial Billy told him when they finally and reluctantly pulled away from each other several minutes later.

Gwyneth clapped her hands excitedly - she had done her job and that was that. She'd stick around to keep an occasional eye on her family but she wouldn't haunt them like this anymore.

"Fuck, I can't believe my ex-wife was right," Owen whispered to himself.

"What?" A confused Billy waved it off, deciding he didn't care and kissed him one more time.

Billy and Owen lived snarkily ever after thanks to Gwyneth's meddling.
