Lily and Severus, A Fan Fiction.

P.S: I don't own HP or the characters, they all belong to Ms. Rowling.

Today was Lily and James' first date. He had been really looking forward to Lily finally accepting his invitation, on Valentine's Day.
"Lily?" he asked.
"Yes, James?"
"You know where we meet, the Great Hall at 6 p.m., yes?"
"Yes, James, I'll be there and I advise you not to screw it up."
"I won't," James replied, pushing her playfully. And with that she walked away.
However, he didn't know that they were being overheard by someone, and that the very person James hated the most, Severus Snape, he had heard this and wanted to burst into tears after hearing that his love took his worst enemy on a date in his life.
"Why?" Severus asked himself in his mind. "She hated him as much as I did," he thought, but after what he saw, he wasn't so sure anymore. And all because of the "Mudblood" incident that Potter himself caused. He sadly went into the Slytherin common room, where he immediately ran into Avery, who asked him,
"What's wrong Severus?" He had rarely seen him like this.
"Just a messed up potion, Slughorn gave me a bad grade for it" Severus lied, but Avery knew why he looked like that.
"You would never look like that because of Potions, is it because of the Mudblood girl?" Avery laughed.
"Don't call her that!" Severus replied, a look of hate spreading across his face.
"I'm sorry, but she turned you down and you still have this crush on the Mudblood bitch?"
I told you not to call her that, by Merlin, can you please stop talking about her?" Snape asked, wanting best to hex Avery and dangle her upside down over the Black Lake.
"Well, okay, I just wanted to tell you how you might get her back," Avery said. Snape is not stupid, he was aware that Mulciber and Avery would soon join the Dark Lord and thus also switch to the dark side.
"Oh, like you know anything about romance," Severus scoffed. "Perhaps not about romance, but about curses," Avery replied.
"What are you getting at?" Snape asked.
"Quite simply, you could put her under a curse to make her come to you and abandon that loser Potter, so they'll move away from each other and you'll have a chance to set things right, even though the Dark Lord doesn't will be happy about it," Avery said. That made Snape silent, he would never harm her, but what about that Git Potter? He could hex it and then finally bring Lily to her senses. "I wouldn't put a spell on Lily, but you gave me an idea."
"And which?"
"I'm going to hex that Git Potter instead, but like, there's only one curse that could help me and that's called..."
"Imperius" Avery finished for him.
"Yes," Severus replied coolly.
"I will do it, I will put him under Inmperius, even if it means that the curse was unforgivable, and it was."
"To see that we'll soon have another dark wizard dating a Mudblood" Avery said.
Severus ignored him and got ready, but since it was only half past four, Snape waited and studied the Imperius spell on a Niffler until he went into the forest. When he mastered it, the Imperius Curse, he once said "Imperio" and he ordered the Niffler to climb a tree and it did, it was just one of the few spells that Severus had not yet mastered up to that point. Now he looked at his watch and it was already 5:10 p.m., so he only had 50 minutes until Lily and James wanted to meet.

Krone, ready, you romantic? Sirius joked.
"This is a very important evening for me Padfoot," James said.
"I have a question"
"Yes, James?"
"Have you seen Sniv- I mean, Snape anywhere?" James asked.
"No why?"
"He won't be happy, I don't know much about love, but I know Snape loves her very much," said Remus
"Really Moony?"
"As if we care, the slimy Git can go to Azkaban if he leaves us alone." Sirius said, with dislike in his voice.
"He's had us for, how long? "I've left him alone for 8 months, Padfoot, so tonight Krone has to concentrate on Evans," replied Remus.
"Moony's right, it's just me and Evans tonight," James said, and so he left the Gryffendor common room and made his way to the great hall, but James was unaware that Severus was hiding at the grand staircase and waited for him there. When James arrived at Severus' hiding place, he whispered "Imperio" quietly and pointed his wand at Potter, and Potter stopped dead in his tracks and Severus said, "You will now go to the Great Hall and then tell Lily that you don't like her and if." she answers why, will you answer that you don't suit me, then you will return to your common room, at about 9:00 p.m., from the forest area, where you will just sit down, and afterwards you will have no memory of this spell ", still have this day and from 9:10 p.m. you will no longer be under this curse," said Severus clearly but quietly, and made his way to the great hall, albeit with a cloaking charm, to watch the show. When James got there he did exactly as Severus told him and he left Lily with tears in her eyes and when he released the spell he had been wearing he was already in the courtyard of the clock tower and when he realized how someone came, he saw who it was, his great love Lily.
When Lily saw him, she asked, "What are you doing here, Severus?"
"Lily?" Severus said surprised, but he only pretended.
"Why are you crying?"
"Because of James," Lily said simply.
"What happened?" Snape asked, concern in his voice.
"As if you want to know" and Lily burst into tears again.
"Lily, I can only help you if you talk to me."
"Fine, I came to the great hall because I had a date with him, there weren't many people there, just a few Rawenclaws and Slytherins and James came and then he told me he didn't like me, he just ignored me and Left me there, thinking he had changed, even though he's the head boy, he's still an arrogant toerag, why didn't I realize that sooner?" Lily screamed, clinging to Severus. He hugged her back and she cried for many more minutes as she said, "How could I have been so stupid as to trust him?!"
"After I said an M-M, I'm sorry, I just can't do this normally, look, I'm really sorry for what I said, and I realized that my housemates are real gits, look, if we at least talk again, Then I'll never bother with them again, okay? I promise." Lily was shocked. He thought Avery and Mulciber were Gits after everything he'd already done with them.
"I forgive you," Lily said.
"Really?" Severus asked shocked.
"Yeah, well, I have to tell you something, before I started liking Potter, I was, I was..." Lily didn't want to say it, but she knew she couldn't wait any longer. "I really liked you," she began.
"I liked you more than a friend and on your birthday or something I actually wanted to tell you in fifth year, but when you actually called me a mudblood, everything went away." Lily said, tears forming in her eyes again as she said, "I loved you, Sev."
Severus just sat there, petrified as he heard the love of his life feeling the same way he had for 7 years.
"I love you Lily, I did when we saw each other when we were 10 years old, I just liked the way you were there for me when no one else was, or the way you always defended me, "When Potter and his friends attacked me, and I messed it all up by calling you that." Now Severus began to cry too. He actually almost never cried. It was the 5th time he had ever cried in his life.
"I'll forgive you, but you have to prove to me that what you're saying is real," Lily said.
"Okay," Severus said, and an idea occurred to him. He took out his wand and said "Expecto Patronom" and the doe came out of his wand. The same Patronos as Lily had. "That's my proof," said Severus happily.
"That's why I didn't want to perform my Patronos in front of the class last year, otherwise you would have recognized it," said Severus.
"Oh Sev" said Lily. "I never realized you felt the way I did. "But even after the Mudblood incident, I still loved you, but it pained me to think of you becoming a Death Eather because you believed those Slytherins," Lily said. "I was afraid of losing you," Lily replied.
"I had to make her believe that I was going to be one, but when we graduated, we could just run away, or fight for the Order, the main thing is that I do it with you, I couldn't bear to lose you." "Lily, I love you too much." Severus said, his cheeks warming at the last part.
"I love you too, Sev". And so Lily kissed him, and at first Severus was shocked, but he kissed her back. And they deepened the kiss, and when Sev wrapped his hand around Lily's waist, she deepened the kiss again and they kissed harder and harder. Lily couldn't believe that Severus had such feelings and was such a good kisser at the same time. Even their tongues wrestled slowly, but a few seconds later they broke the juss as they gasped for air. "I will always love you, Lily.
"I love you too Sev, from now on nothing can separate us, I love you and good night," Lily said to her new friend. He couldn't believe it, the love of his life had just been kissing him for almost three minutes, and with such passion too, and Severus couldn't be happier. When he looked at the clock, he saw that it was already 7:39 p.m. Potter would probably sit there until 9:00 p.m. He'll probably be wondering what happened.

"And did it work, Severus?" Avery asked.
Severus simply grinned broadly, which to Avery meant he could do it.
"Are you a couple?"
"Yes and no," Severus replied
"So we kissed after I pretended to feel bad for her because I cursed Potter with Imperio," Severus said.
"Nice," Avery said.
"I'm going to go to sleep now, Avery," Severus said.
"Okay," Avery said simply.

And Severus dreamed of Lily hugging and kissing some more, but one thing he knew, he didn't need Voldemort or Slytherin or anything as long as he had his Lily.

So that was my first fanfiction. I hope you like it, reviews are welcome, I just couldn't stand Rowling portraying Snape as the villain, so I had him portrayed as the villain trying to get back what the real villain took from him, until next time!
