Noah couldn't believe he was doing this to Cody.
It all seemed so simple. All he was doing was venting about his relationship with Cody, and now it's led to him locking lips with Alejandro in the confessional after the Spaniard had accidentally walked in on him. Some part of this felt so right, and he hated that. He hated how he so easily betrayed Cody like he was doing right now.
Noah loved Cody, he really did but lately things had been falling apart.
It started with when he formed that whole Drama Brothers band with Trent, Harold, and Justin. Cody and Noah barely got to see each other anymore and even then, Noah would hardly even get any texts from the geek. It didn't help that Cody had so many fangirls which put him at odds with Noah since he seemed to enjoy the attention. Cody claimed it was just because he enjoyed being idolized, but Noah was unsure about believing him.
Coming back to Total Drama World Tour just made things even worse. The two ended up being placed on different teams and what's worse is that Cody was practically attached to the hip with Sierra. Not by his own volition mind you, but Sierra was so happy to meet her favorite contestant that she sprung herself to be near him at all times. It was massively clear that Sierra had a crush on Cody and while the stalker did seem to know that Noah and Cody were dating, she was clearly waiting to pounce the second he and Cody would potentially break up.
Noah didn't know what happened. In one second he was complaining about an argument he was having with Cody in the confessional about Sierra being super close to him, in the next, he was being comforted by Alejandro(who got in due to the lock being broken), and now they were kissing. It was clear what Noah should've done was push Alejandro away and remind him that he had a boyfriend and this couldn't go any further but that's not what happened, instead he continued to let Alejandro kiss him and even kissed the Spaniard back. What was wrong with him?
Once the two parted lips, Alejandro had shared a bewildered gaze with Noah.
"Noah… I…" Alejandro began shakily, so the kiss was a mess for him too, huh? Good, at least the Latin had some morals left but Noah's momentary relief was then replaced with horror when he saw Cody staring at the scene with tears in his eyes. Alejandro seemed to catch wind of this and looked shocked at seeing the geek as well.
"I should probably let you two talk this out." Alejandro gulped before walking off. Noah supposed he couldn't blame Alejandro for leaving, because he was right, this was something Noah and Cody needed to talk about.
"Cody…" Noah began softly before Cody glared daggers into the bookworm's eyes.
"No. Just shut up. You gave me all that crap about having to deal with my fangirls and here you are tongue wrestling with another man!" Cody cried out furiously.
"Cody, look. I'm sorry for all of-" Noah tried to speak before Cody cut him off again.
"Oh you're sorry. Well isn't that just great. Because sorry fixes everything. It totally fixes the fact that you broke my heart to pieces!" Cody smiled, although Noah could tell it was bitter and tears were still sleeping through the geek's eyes.
"Cody please. Just let me explain." Noah said desperately to which Cody rolled his eyes but let Noah talk.
"Look, I know we've been having issues for a while now. I was in a vulnerable place and… I had some feelings for Alejandro but I realize it was just lust and my emotional thinking. I know you might never forgive me but… you're honestly the best boyfriend I could've asked for. And I shouldn't have done this to you." Noah said sadly.
Cody's gaze seemed to soften at what Noah said but then he glared at the bookworm.
"It doesn't matter why you cheated, all that matters is that you DID." Cody said angrily in which Noah looked away in shame. He had a point after all.
"We're done Noah. Goodbye." Cody finished before walking off but Noah could catch the tears of heartbreak in his eyes which only made him feel like crap.
"Are you okay amigo?" Alejandro asked in concern.
"My boyfriend just broke up with me. Of course I'm not okay." Noah said with his familiar sarcasm but Alejandro could hear how broken Noah sounded and for once he felt genuine sympathy.
"I feel your struggle but we must not let this consume us. Cody is bound to tell everyone what happened. We must be prepared for any elimination ceremony that-" Alejandro began in determination before Noah cut him off.
"Are you serious?! We just did the most unforgivable thing we could do to Cody and all you can think about is strategy?!" Noah asked incredulously which made Alejandro look away in shame, "I'm going to bed. I need to rest."
Noah walked away from Alejandro who didn't bother following him. Good, Noah didn't want to deal with him now. All Noah could think about is that he just lost Cody. He would never be able to make any fond memories with the geek ever again.
And it was all his fault.
