Hope's Peak

(Winry and Ruby)

Winry was getting a little dizzy from her blood loss but the wrap on her shoulder helped to slow it. She leaned on Ruby, who was more than capable of carrying her. She said, "I'm really sorry to be a burden."

Ruby smiled and said, "You're not a burden. You're about to be our saving grace if anything."

The two finally reached the generator room. Ruby set Winry down to her knees. The generator's panel was low to the ground. It was slashed open and the wiring was cut. Winry said, "If I can just tie these together...we should get enough power to open the door and call for help."

Winry got to work, reaching inside. Wearing leather gloves, she was able to connect the wires without suffering a shock. With a jolt, hope's peak academy erupted back to life, lights on but flickering as the door swung open. Winry wasted no time.

North Wall

(John-117, Isaac, Franky, Aoyama)

Franky continued to tussle with the necromorph brute covered from advancing necromorphs by the other three. A static filled call sounded in John's ear. "Thi-kzzt Winry! Ca-kzzt Hope's Pe-kzzzt!"

John pressed his finger to his helmet. "This is 117. Repeat again, Hope's Peak!"

The signal began to clear as Winry spoke. "It's Winry! Do not send anyone else here! Necromorphs are inside the school!"

Isaac shouted, "What did she say?!"

John said, "Necromorphs are at Hope's Peak. That's not possible. They're only just showing up now...unless...the shard."

A realization hit John. "If the shard's been active this whole time..."

Isaac said, "Then all it needs is to make one infector necromorph. And Azula burned through one of the sealed windows..."

Yang responded on the comms, "You realize now this is the second time she's screwed us over right?! Why are we letting her help us again?"

Luffy said, "Because she just gave us our chance to beat the Imperator!"

John said, "Luffy, where is Goku? I need an instant transmission to Hope's Peak!"

Izuku responded, "He's hurt really bad! It's just Luffy and me against this guy!"

John sighed and said, "Then I'm gonna have to hoof it."

Isaac yelled, "Are you out of your mind? It's at least 10 miles you'll never make it."

John said, "If I push myself, I can run up to 40 miles an hour. Last time I did though I nearly shattered my legs..."

Isaac said, "Even less reason to try it then!"

John said, "We don't have a choice! I'm not gonna let them die."

Isaac sighed, "Alright. Then you're gonna need this."

Isaac handed John his plasma cutter saying, "I can get by on the pulse rifle. You need the efficiency."

John nodded and said, "Thanks Clarke."

Franky, still tackling the Brute yelled, "Let me clear the way for you!"

He threw out his hand, shooting it attached by a chain, knocking the mass of necromorphs apart.

John took the opportunity, and began sprinting, leaving behind a wave of wind and dust in his wake as he moved at incredible speeds.

West Wall

(Toph, Ojiro, Sokka, Edward, Katara, and Lapis vs Monsoon and Killua)

Toph, Katara, and Lapis were trying their best to keep their eyes on Killua as he flashed and zipped around them.

Katara said, "I think I have a plan. If you guys can hold him still, for even a second...I can keep him there."

Toph eyed Katara and said, "Are...are you sure you wanna do that?"

Katara said, "It's the only way to stop him."

Killua closed the distance and delivered a blow to her chin before jumping back.

Katara grunted and said, "Yeah...I'm definitely sure."

Lapis said, "I'm not sure what your plan is, but if all you need is for us to hold him still, I can handle that."

The wings from her back began to grow, forming into large hands. She hardened the hands into ice and slammed the ground, cracking it all around. Toph threw her hands out, widening the area of cracks. Lapis began feeding water through the cracks in the ground. Tendrils of water shot up through each crack, creating something of a minefield for Killua. She kept the tendrils low, out of his view, waiting for him to make his move. When he jumped down, setting his foot next to a crack. Lapis clapped her hands, and his legs were wrapped. He immediately went to slash them with his clawed hands but he was suddenly stopped.

His body couldn't move. Another force was holding his arm and body in place. Lapis said, "What...?"

Katara's hands were held out pointed towards Killua. Katara said, "It's called blood bending...it was the only way to stop him."

Killua turned his eyes to Katara, and began forcing his way through her control. He took slow steps forward, pushing against the blood in his own veins.

Katara said, "What?!"

Toph clasped her fists together, trapping him in a prison of stone that held his body. Katara sighed and said, "How...did he even do that?"

Toph said, "Different rules in a different world."

The ground began to shake.

Katara pressed a finger to her ear and said, "I thought that Koda was taking care of the corpsers! Why is the ground still shaking?"

Gon's voice screeched, "It's not a corpser!"

The air was filled by an almost unholy howl. The ground shaking continued. Toph felt the vibrations, getting a good look at what was making the steps. It shook her to her core.

Center of Abraxas

It stumbled forward. Gargantuan in size and twisted in form. It was a massive worm like beast, flailing spider like bladed limbs protruding from its back and body and tendrils protruding from its neck. It shuffled along the ground with similar sets of spider legs. Its mouth was a circular warring void of teeth and sensory organs. It sounded a call that seemed to draw more necromorphs out from the shadows. It was controlling them. This was the Hive Mind.

Gon, Raiden, and Denki were the first to spot it.

Gon stumbled back while Raiden stepped forward. He drew his sword and said, "Call everyone who's free to come help. I'll hold it here until then."

Denki said, "Are you crazy? You'll never be able to take that thing on by yourself."

Raiden smiled and said, "Yeah. I guess I am a little crazy. I think it's time for Jack the Ripper..."

His eye flashed a bright red. His voice turned into a growl as he finished his sentence.

"...TO LET 'ER RIP!"

He shot forward, jumping to one of the Hive Mind's legs with incredible speed. With one swing, he easily carved through its limb, catching its attention. He proceeded to run up the body, deflecting flailing limbs and tendrils with ease.

Katara's voice sounded in Gon's ear, "I thought that Koda was taking care of the corpsers! Why is the ground still shaking?"

Gon responded, "It's not a corpser! It's some sort of big necromorph. Everyone who can get here, come to the center of Abraxas now!"

All across Abraxas

Yang, Kirishima, Pearl and Robin heard the call. The four nodded at each other and began making their way.

Bismuth, Usopp, Zuko, Uraraka, and Bakugo were held back by necromorph swarms from all around. Zuko and Bakugo's fiery explosions did well to keep htem at bay with support from Usopp's flame-infused slingshot attacks. They heard Gon's call.

Bismuth said, "You heard him people! Bakugo, Zuko, cover our backs!"

Bakugo yelled, "Don't give me orders damn it!"

He charged in farther, blasting off even more explosions. Zuko shook his head and began stepping back as he fired off fire blast after fire blast.

Usopp had already ran, keeping an even greater distance.

Koda, Chopper, and Yaoyorozu were on the run from necromorphs that had emerged from the rubble. They had been separated from Nami, Shoji, Iida and Ashido. Chopper held on to Yaoyorozu's shoulders as they ran. They had heard the call. Ducking into a nearby building the three caught their breath. Yaoyorozu said, "Koda. Without the corpsers they don't have a chance against that thing!"

Koda was terrified out of his wits. He said, "I...I can't..."

Yaoyorozu said, "Yes you can! You can't give into the fear now! You're stronger than you think!"

Koda knew how much people relied on him. He swallowed his fear and, though still shaken, nodded his head. She said, "We just need get to the top of this building and sound the call!"

The trio heard Ty Lee's voice call on their earpieces.

Ty Lee yelled, "I don't know if this is even working, but we need help! We're right by the western wall of the city. Mai is hurt really bad!"

Chopper looked up, pressed his earpiece, and said, "Don't worry. I'm on my way!" He rushed out, and began making his way out.

Koda and Yaoyorozu began running up the building, Yaoyorozu having a metal staff at the ready.

Nami, Shoji, Iida and Ashido were barely evading a swarm of slasher necromorphs. Ashido sprayed acid to the ground, slicking the ground and tripping the necromorphs. Nami unleashed a bolt of lightning, stunning them and giving the four an opportunity to escape. They also received the message from Gon as they recuperated in a nearby garage..

Shoji formed a mouth with one of his limbs and said, "The roadblocks don't seem to end..."

Ashido panted after running and said, "What the hell...is happening? These people...they're monsters..."

Iida placed a hand on Ashido's shoulder and said, "Breathe...Ashido. It's ok..."

Ashido panted said, "I'm...I'm ok...I'm not gonna let anyone else fall victim to those things."

Shoji said, "And we're not gonna let the Imperator get away with this."

Nami said, "No way am I letting my treasure go!", in reference to Yaoyorozu.

Shoji raised an eyebrow and said, "And...protect your friends..."

Nami shrugged and said, "Sure...that too."

Then they heard something. It was a strange chirping sound. Footsteps pattered all around them. Shoji turned his limbs into eyes and ears. He said, "Everyone quiet down. We're not alone in here."

The footsteps began echoing all around him, throwing off his hearing. Something else happened just then. A screeching howl, like a mutated bird screeched, as something burst from the darkness. Its footsteps grew faster and closer and closer. Shoji had only seconds to react to waht he saw. It was a necromorph, with a hunched over figure, and long spindly limbs from its hunched over back. The face was the most contorted, skull like teeth within a bird-like maw overtaking it, hollowed out eyes on the outside of its hardened skull. It was rushing forward, arms tucked back and head forward in a straight bull charge. With one mighty swing of its neck, it landed squarely in Shoji's side, fracturing his ribs. The creature immediately retreated back into the darkness hiding behind one of the pillars.

Iida said, "Shoji!"

He rushed to Shoji's side, who was coughing up blood that soaked through his mask. He was able to speak clearly through a mouth limb.

Shoji said, "Another necromorph variant...and it's not the only one! I count at least 5...no 6!"

Nami readied her staff, while Ashido stood back to back with her. Iida prepared himself as well, as Shoji got to his feet, though he was still on his knees, lacking the full strength to stand up.

Hope's Peak Academy

John had arrived at Hope's Peak. Though his leg muscles screamed in agony and his bones felt like they were a whisper from shattering, he stood tall and prepared to head inside. He ran in, plasma cutter at the ready. His footsteps thudded and the sound carried through the halls as he made his way to the generator room to find Winry first. Then he heard the screech. Clawing along the ceiling was the leaper, whipping and thrashing its tail. It dove at John, who casually sidestepped it, aiming the plasma cutter to shoot its arm off as it landed beside him. It swung its tail at him in retaliation and he grabbed it out of the air with his free hand, blasting it off with the cutter. The creature fell dead, with no weapons left to attack with.

John soon arrived at the door of the generator room. He called out, "Winry?"

Winry's voice was heard on the other side. "We're in here!"

John took note of "we."

He pushed the door open to see Winry, sitting in the corner, with Ruby's makeshift bandage and Ruby sitting next to her.

John said, "What happened?"

Winry said, "We were attacked. This necromorph that fell to pieces, every part still attacking after it separated. It pierced my shoulder."

John asked, "Have they sent over anyone else? The Gems I mean."

Ruby said, "Not as far as we know."

John said, "Who do we know is still in this building?"

Winry said, "Peridot was running last we saw her. Hagakure, that invisible girl, she went crazy and tried to attack us. I knocked her out and we tied her up."

John filled in the gaps with, "You and Ruby?"

Winry corrected him, "No. Kirigiri. She and Naegi are still in the building too. That's everyone I can think of."

John nodded and said, "Stay here and keep the door locked. I'm gonna find the rest of them and bring them back."

Ruby said, "Be careful. While we were hiding in here we heard something else thump by. It sounded bigger than the others, and the noises, almost sounded like it was giving orders."

John said, "I'll be fine. Stay safe."

Abraxas

(Steven vs. Izuku, Azula, and Luffy)

Steven, still holding Azula in the air by a tendril, yelled, "You're not going to stop this. I'll let my face burn a THOUSAND times before I give this up."

Azula coughed out, "That can be arranged..."

Izuku was the first to charge in, yelling out, "ST. LOUIS SMASH!"

He delivered a charged round house kick to the tendril, severing it as Azula fell to the ground. Luffy extended an inflated hand and caught her. She yelled out, "I did not ask for a rescue, rubber brat!"

Luffy laughed and said, "Big words. I think I'm even older than you!"

Izuku landed behind Steven, skidding backwards while facing him, powering up and launching from that position right back at Steven again. Steven prepared to block it, but Izuku suddenly punched just short of his face launching himself backward. Luffy's fist suddenly struck him from the side while he was distracted by Izuku's erratic movements. Izuku took this opportunity to hold his glove out. He flicked his finger, and his glove suddenly expanded, and small bursts of high pressure ear shot from his fingers. Steven was knocked back, the bursts hitting him square in the chest. Luffy yelled out, "Gum Gum JET GATLING!"

Luffy threw out his fists at almost imperceptible speed. They landed square on Steven's back, pushing Steven towards Izuku as they peppered him with blow after blow. Izuku yelled, "DETROIT SMASH!"

One mighty blow pushed Steven into the ground, shattering it and shaking the ground all around. Izuku was panting, his arm hurting.

Izuku said, "Something is wrong. Why did that become easier?"

Azula sauntered up to his unconscious body, brandishing flaming daggers. Izuku said, "Wait, Azula!"

Azula suddenly felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Steven had suddenly shot up when she got close, impaling her stomach with his monstrous hand. Steven said, "That...was for burning me..."

He withdrew his hand, and Azula gritting her teeth, fell back, holding her gut in pain.

"Two down...two to go..."

He coughed up blood, which elicited a smile from Luffy.

Luffy said, "He's almost tapped out."

Metaverse

(Phantom Thieves, Aang, Brook, Jiro, Sato, Asui, and Tokoyami vs Shadow Steven and Connie)

The Phantom Thieves and Aang were unleashing elemental chaos and destruction around them, obliterating the seemingly endless waves of shadows.

Tokoyami and Brook were dueling with Shadow Steven, Tokoyami throwing out Dark Shadow. The Shadow had no trouble deflecting the attacks coming from both angles, but the music made it difficult to plan a counter attack.

Sato suddenly tackled the Shadow, pinning him to the ground and delivering multiple blows to his face. The Shadow prepared a counter attack but his arm was grabbed by Asui's tongue.

Jiro plugged her earphone jacks into her arm speakers and unleashed waves of sonic destructive force to his grounded body.

"ENOUGH!", he bellowed, his sonic scream overpowering Jiro's power and shaking the metaverse, knocking the rest of the group back.

The Connie hallucination began making her way towards Aang, seeking to break him first.

Asui shouted, "Aang look out!"

Aang instinctively shot out a blast of fire that hit the hallucination. The Marker in the back reacted to the damage, exploding outward to reveal a pulsating heart at its center. When she reformed, so did the marker.

Morgana said, "Did you guys see that?!"

Akechi said, "We destroy that hallucination, we can destroy this treasure..."

The hallucination turned to the thieves, who began firing their guns at her. She began warping and blinking around the field, dodging the hail of bullets.

Ryuji yelled, "Damn it! I can't get a bead on her!"

She appeared beside the grounded Shadow Steven and said, "It is time..."

Shadow Steven smiled and said, "Yes..."

The two let out a screech, melting into piles of black and red goo, falling backwards off the edge of the platform.

Makoto said, "Oh no..."

From the mists below, Steven's monstrous head emerged, but something was different. His body now resembled the hive mind being fought in reality. Spindly legs and tendrils, massive spider-like legs that gripped the platform.

Ren said, "Deal with the shadows. This is our specialty."

They summoned their personas. Aang stood beside them and said, "I'll fight with you."

He pressed his fists together, and the symbols all over his body began to glow. An orb of elements formed around him.

A booming distorted voice echoed from the monstrous form. He yelled, "Fall to my might. Surrender to the beauty of convergence! MAKE US WHOLE!"
