A lone woman gazed upon the skies.
The night's sly glowed with many stars. Each so far, yet bright.
The woman let out a sigh. Her blue hair rubbing across her shoulders. With another sigh the woman stood up from the wall she was sitting on, and turned towards the empty streets of Liyue.
"I'm sorry you had to wait."
The woman froze as a hand touched her back. She turned around.
The golden eyes framed with blonde hair, the other woman grinned at her.
"Will you forgive me, Ganyu?"
The blonde asked with a slight mockery in her tone. Ganyu pulled back. Her purple eyes widening in shock.
"W-why are you here Lumine?"
The blonde, Lumine, smiled. Yet, her eyes did not meet her smile. It seemed, lifeless. Her piercing golden eyes made Ganyu uneasy.
"Oh my. Is this the way you greet your friends after ignoring them for a month?" Lumine's voice became like ice. Her smile morphing into a snarl. "You should learn some manners, Adeptus!" With a flash of gold and purple a sword materialized in Lumine's hand. And then a slash!-
Ganyu woke up with a scream.
The chair under her breaking, and she fell onto the wooden floor of her office.
The half-qilin adepti's breath was erratic. Before the blue haired horned woman calmed herself.
She was in her office. It was daytime. She was fine.
She had not seen Lumine in 200 years.
