Bell POV
"Now young child what should we do with you" Miach kindly asked the girl who was petting Regis. Who was looking pissed.
"Yeah, do you have any parents or guardians we can take you back to," I asked?
"Oh yeah follow me" she cheerfully said walking further into Daedalus street. Miach and I exchanged worried glances before following her. We walked for a few minutes before we came upon a ruined church. Miach and I exchanged another glance before she knocked on the door. The door practically flew open and we watched as an older woman with long black hair which she keeps tied behind her. She had a black shirt with white pants and a pink sweater tied around her shoulders.
"Fina thank the gods you're ok," the woman said wrapping the girl in a hug.
"I'm ok Maria this boy saved me," Fina said pointing at me. The woman let go of Fina and looked at me. She then rushed towards me and shook my hand.
"Thank you. Thank you so much for saving her if there's anything. Anything we can do to repay you at all we will" she said tears of joy and relief in her eyes.
"There's uh no need ma'am I was just doing what was right" I paused and looked behind her seeing two more kids. A human and a half-elf embracing the chienthrope. "What is this place," I asked.
"Oh this is an orphanage I run for kids who lost their parents in the dungeon"
"So all these kids. At such a young age" Miach said shocked.
"Yes it's very tragic and sad but this is all I can do for them. The best I can do is give them a roof over their heads and food in their bellies" Maria said looking at the kids still at the door and giving them a wave.
"Fuck" Regis said. I could hear what sounded like sadness in his voice. Or whatever he felt as sadness.
Seeing the church in such ruin and seeing the kids wear what looked to be hand-me-down clothes. Hell did they even have enough beds?
"Bell I know what you're thinking. Regis and I will stay here until you get back" Miach said as he and Regis approached the church.
"It seems as though you'll be staying a while," Maria said.
"Yeah but I'll be right back I need to grab something," I said as I started walking down the street. Once I was out of sight I broke into a sprint back to the blue pharmacy. When I opened the door I saw Nazha pacing back and forth in the shop.
"Bell. Oh thank god you're alright" she said wrapping me in a hug. "Where's Miach and Regis," she asked as she let go.
"Miach is safe I left Regis with him as a guard" I walked to my bag. "I need my key" I opened it and fished around for a second until I grabbed it.
"Bell what is going on," Nazha asked.
"I'll explain later but close the shop and come with me I'll need your help. You can do check-ups right?"
"It's not my specialty like potion making but yes I can" she responded.
"Alright follow me we need to make a pit stop first"
I opened the door while Nazha put the closed sign-up and we walked to the guild.
"Bell what exactly happened"
"Silverback broke out of its cage and was going on a rampage. It was about to kill a child but I saved her and ran. It caught up and broke my shoulder. I put the child somewhere safe and killed the silverback"
"Your shoulders fixed right," she asked.
"Yeah, Miach set it back in place then used a potion he gave me from the stall. But back to the story. The girl I said led us to where she lived and it's a run-down church in Daedalus being used as an orphanage"
"And you want me to make sure none of the kids are sick"
"Correct but the church was pretty run down so I also wanna give them some money" I said as we arrived at the guild. Eina seeing the two of us approached.
"Good afternoon Bell, Ms. Nazha," she said and surprisingly didn't stutter this time.
"Hey Eina I need a sack and to access my vault"
"Very we'll come with me" Nazha and I both followed her as we entered the vaults. She calmly led us to mine and handed us the sack she had picked up before we entered. "If that is all I must return to my duties"
"Thank you Eina I'll be sure to swing by before I head into the dungeon again," I said. I saw her shoulders tense a bit before she gave a bow and left.
"Bell did you threaten your advisor or something she seems scared of you," Nazha asked.
"You do remember whose vault this is right," I said opening it. Nazha's jaw practically dropped seeing all the money inside. "Careful you'll catch flies" I joked. She laughed and helped me as I filled the sack. When it was full I handed the sack to Nazha and closed the vault.

"Those poor kids," Nazha said as she saw the run-down church.
"Let's just be glad they're not on the streets. Come on let's go I bet your gonna be happy to see Miach" I said teasing her a bit.
"Oh just wait until you fall in love mister. Or if a girl flirts with you" she said walking ahead of me.
"Oh, now you're just out for blood at this point" I then knocked on the door and Maria opened it. "Oh you're back and who is this," she asked turning to Nazha. "This is Nazha she's a potion maker and doctor of sorts. I brought her to do a check-up on the children if that's alright"
"Oh, but we don't have the money to afford that," Maria said worriedly looking at the kids. "It's alright this one's free and also here," I said handing her the sack. She took a look inside it and her eyes widened.
"This is too much I can't take this. What about you" she said trying to give me the sack back. "I'll be fine. Take it please I insist. If not because of that take it for the children" I said pushing the sack back to her.
"You should take it he won't take no for an answer," Nazha said.
"I-I don't know what to say," she said tears brimming the corners of her eyes.
"Then don't say anything just take it and give these kids a better life than on the streets" Maria burst into tears and wrapped her arms around me. "Thank you so much. I will never forget your kindness" I didn't reply instead I patted her on the back and waited til she calmed down. She then let go and wiped the tears off her cheeks before she approached the children who were playing with Regis.
"I remember telling you to take Miach home when the silverback attacked," I said to Regis who was finally free of the 'kids' torment'
"He said he wasn't gonna leave you behind. So I had no choice but to follow him" Regis said as he walked me.
"So did you enjoy your pets" I teased"
"Fuck off"

Miach, Nazha, Regis, and I were walking back home. Her checkup went fine and the kids were healthy. Hopefully, with the money I gave Maria should be able to fix the church and give the kids better food. I met all of them and they're good kids so Regis and I are gonna go visit them from time to time.
"I'm proud of you Bell," Miach said giving me a kind smile. "For what?" I asked.
"Bell you just changed that woman's life as well as those kids you should feel proud," Nazha said.
"I just did what was right. My goal is to help people to be a hero and if I can just save one person then that would be enough for me. I don't want fame or glory and we all know I have enough money. But if I can just make sure one person keeps their smile. Then that'll be enough for me"
"That's very noble of you Bell. But I think you've already accomplished your goal" Miach said.
"Yeah you're already my hero," Nazha said as she booped my nose"
"And who knows you might be Alise's hero one day Prince Charming" Regis joked.
"Oh, Alise you say," Nazha said her face lighting up in a mischievous way. "Do tell Bell do tell"
"Don't you even start nothing is going on between us"
"I don't know she seemed mighty interested in you," Miach said.
"I hate you all"

"Happy birthday Bell" grandpa said handing me a present.
"It's from the both of us so I hope you'll enjoy it," Alfia said having a rare smile on her face.
I opened the box and saw a bow inside it. My bow. My very own bow. "Wow my very own bow this is so cool," I said pulling back on the bowstring to test it.
"Careful not to dry fire it Bell" Grandpa said.
"I won't grandpa"
"Aw sweet a new chew toy" Regis joked.
"Grandpa can I use the dog as target practice"
"You can once we move you to the advanced course," he said ruffling my hair.

I awoke and looked at the bow that was propped up on my bag. I smiled at it remembering the day I got it and how much I've used it since.
"Remember when you thought that was a chew toy," I asked Regis.
"I said that as a joke and you know it"
"Uh huh sure ya did," I said getting you off the couch. Miach said I should have my own room either later today or tomorrow. Miach and Nazha got up just after I did and we had breakfast. Miach then got some deliveries together for Nazha and me to take to certain places.
"Alright Nazha you will take these to Artemis and Astraea," he said sliding the boxes over to her. "Bell I'll need you to deliver these to a place called The Eternal White Flame you know where that is," he asked.
"Miach I've been in the city for like 10 days no I don't"
"It's in the pleasure quarter. Just look for the building with the giant white flame once you enter can't miss it" Miach said while Nazha glared at him. "So I'm delivering to a brothel?" I asked. "Yes," Miach replied.
"Sweet" Regis said and started heading towards the door. He was practically trotting. "Come on Bell we're about to make you a man"
"You can do what you want after you deliver. You're a growing boy so feel free to explore if you want" Miach said.
"Miach" Nazha shrieked.
"Nazha. Dear, we both know Bell can take care of himself. I won't prohibit him from making his own decisions"
"Alright but Bell promise us you'll use protection," Nazha asked.
"I'll keep it in mind. But I'm not gonna do anything. Or I might I don't know" I said walking out the door.
Regis and I walked to the south side of Orario and came upon the so-called city of the night. "Don't be a pussy walk up to the gate" Regis said as he practically trotted there. I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath before walking up myself. The two amazonian guards signaled me to halt and I think I saw one lick her lips.
"Well now what's a cute little thing like you doing here," one of them said.
"Yeah, you and your little friend looking for a good time," the other said.
"I'm here to deliver a package for the uh Eternal White Flame," I said looking at the details on the package and somehow keeping my calm.
"Hey his little friend's not little," Regis said trying to make the situation worse. I slammed my head into the box while the woman laughed. They didn't even care about the talking dog.
"Oh really now care to show us, big boy"
"Yeah come we can go in that alley right there and have some fun" not even in the pleasure quarter and I've already been offered a threesome.
"I'm sorry ladies but I really must be going got a lot of deliveries to do," I said feeling my face heat up a lot.
"Aw oh well maybe next time cutie," one Amazon said blowing me a kiss. I walked through the gate seeing both guards looking at me with desire in their eyes. Seeing at it was still daytime there weren't many people in the street. Which means I could yell at Regis.
"I hate you so much"
"Ah, you're fine. Hey I like this place gets you blushing a storm and it's fucking hilarious" Regis said.
"You didn't have to tell them about my dick size"
"Oh, I absolutely did" we continued our walk until I saw a giant sign of a white flame above a building. Knowing I was at the right place I knocked on the door. The woman who opened the door was drop-dead gorgeous. She has long blonde hair, green eyes, and fox ears, and a tail. She wore a red kimono and around her neck was a slave collar.
"Hello sir are you the delivery boy"
Oh look a wild Haruhime has appeared. Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed this chapter and now we're about to get into the Haruhime rescue arc.
