Bell POV

"You are just full of surprises Bell," Miach said handing me my status sheet. All my stats were back to zero but I was level two now. However, I had two new skills. One was Argonaut which I had no idea what it did. The other was indomitable spirit which allowed me to keep getting back up in a fight unless seriously injured or killed.

"Huh second one seems useful," I said burning the paper to ash in my hand. "That it does. However, I know nothing about Argonaut so I can't answer any questions you have" Miach said apologetically. I shrugged my shoulders and told him it was alright and that I can figure it out later. We walked back out and announced my level up causing cheers to ring out and Aisha shoving my face into her tits.

Astraea POV

"The boy is in irregularity one that can't be predicted or controlled. That's what scares me is that he's unpredictable. He follows his own code and not one of justice or law. Considering who raised him this is no surprise. Now I don't know how fast he'll grow as an adventurer but he already took down a silverback so he's almost done with the upper floors. What do you think Codsworth" I asked my owl who was sitting on his perch. He was a magical owl and acted as a messenger of sorts between Ganesha and I.

"It would be wise to keep an eye on him but do not make him an enemy be cautious of him but don't engage him," Codsworth said.

"So keep an eye on him and do nothing?" I asked.

"Yes as you said he is an irregularity and as such not even I can predict him. But as long as we treat him with kindness and don't set him off we should be fine"

I nodded and took his words into consideration. I then looked back at Zeus's letter about the boy and sighed. He really was gonna be a headache.

Bell POV

The night had passed and Lily still hasn't woken up. We put her in one of the spare rooms while everyone went to sleep. Regis was on guard the entire night as he could easily deal with any intruders that wanted to do Lili further harm. I didn't get much sleep either with the threat of an attack looming over us. However, the morning came and nothing happened yet Lili still didn't wake up.

"Well, she's stable and should wake up anytime now. So I guess we'll just eat breakfast then" Miach said as he checked up on Lili. Breakfast was quiet unlike the day before when cheers and congratulations were thrown around it was quiet. I hated the silence.

"So Miach how should we go about this," I asked as I picked at my pancakes. He took a sip of his coffee before he spoke. "We go about this the way we're supposed to Bell" he took another sip. "Now you may not like this but we have to bring this to Astraea or else you could be arrested for doing things the way you want to," he said sternly. But it wasn't with anger or annoyance but with care if that makes any sense.

"Alright Miach we'll do it your way" I reluctantly said. He took another sip of his coffee. "Good. But if things don't go well you worked here all day" Miach said before smirking and taking another sip of his coffee. I smiled as I knew what he was inferring.

"Um hello," Lili nervously asked. We all turned to her and saw her shaking a little. Miach put his coffee down and kneeled next to her. "It's ok you're safe here. Can you tell us who attacked you" Miach gently said calming down the nervous Lili. It took a few minutes but Lili stopped shaking and took a few breaths.

"The S-Soma familia" she stuttered out close to tears. Miach went back to calming her. "Well, there ya have it so who ya taking with you to lady Astraea" Aisha asked.

"Lili so she can explain what happened. Bell and Regis as guards while the rest of you batten down the hatches" Miach said standing up. I looked over to Lili still seeing her nervous. "It'll be alright Lili this will all be over soon. But I have to ask why were you attacked?" I asked. She sniffled a bit before she answered. "Because there is a fee to leave the familia"

"Wait your own familia attacked you?" I asked shocked by the answer. She nodded her head and continued. "The Soma familia isn't like others. Instead of worshipping the gods they worship his wine. Just one sip and you'll be addicted. So people try and get as much money as they can just for another sip" she was trembling again I could see tears hitting the wooden floor below us.

"Alright you don't have to say anymore if you don't want to but Astraea will ask these questions ok," I said rubbing her shoulder to calm her down. She didn't speak not trusting her own voice so instead, she nodded.

"Alright let's go sooner we do this the sooner those bastards will be dealt with" Miach firmly said. I could tell he was mad or as close to mad as he could get. We walked out of the building and headed to Astraea's home. The walk over there was quick and quiet. None of us said a word but I could tell Lili was nervous. Regis seeing this went next to her to help her feel safe. Sure he can be a hardass at times but he still has compassion and he doesn't like abuse. Seeing the familiar mansion come into view I let out a sigh.

"You'll be alright Bell," Miach said ringing the doorbell. Wait a minute since when was there a doorbell? We didn't have to wait long as the black-haired far eastern woman who greeted me on my first day in Orario.

"Oh hello lord Miach, and oh if it isn't the little cutie who dropped off the letter how can I help you two today? Miach gave me a side eye but didn't ask.

"We are here to see Astraea regarding a matter with young Lili here," Miach said pointing to the prum. The woman seeing the seriousness on his face let us in. The hallways were quiet as we approached the main room. With each step I took I felt them getting heavier and heavier. I wanted to turn around and handle things my way not with justice but with my hands. We arrived at what I assumed to be a meeting room. The room was decorated with the same velvety carpet as the rest with white wallpaper. However, what made this different was the long table that stretched from one end of the room to the other.

Chairs surrounded the table on both sides of the table and there was a bigger chair at the head of it no doubt where Astraea sat.

"If you'll please take a seat while I gather everyone," the woman said gesturing to the seats. She then left the room as we took our seats. Lili was still incredibly nervous. Miach put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's alright Lili these people will help," he said. "If they don't I will," I said crossing my arms.

I heard Miach sigh before he spoke. "Thank you for at least trying things my way first," he said sounding relieved. "I'm doing this because I respect you Miach and if you say this is the way to do it then this is the way I'll do it," I said right as Astraea and some of her familia walked in. Some I knew some I didn't. Astraea sat at the head of the table Miach next to her and Ryu across from him. Lyra sat across from Lili who was next to me. Across from me was Alise who had a smile on her face when she looked at me. But seeing my serious expression caused it to falter a little.

Next to her was the Far Eastern woman. Then next to her was a werewolf and next to her was an Amazon who was next to Lefyia and the other elf I saw at the gate a few nights ago. "Well now that we're all here let's begin shall we," Astraea's honeyed voice said. She turned to me. "Bell I'm glad to see you're in better shape than the last time I saw you," she said smiling at me. Wait a minute what's with that she's always been professional with me.

"I wasn't injured that badly," I said waving off the? What the hell did I just wave off? She cleared her throat. "Well, I guess you just looked worst than it actually was" she then turned to Miach. "Now my friend tell me what's going on," she asked Miach.

Miach then explained the situation of what happened to Lili, her injuries and how severe they were, and who was behind the attack. During the explanation, Astraea had a neutral look on her face while her familia showed a little more emotion at the story. When Miach was finished explaining the situation Astraea asked Lili the same questions I had asked but it felt like she was holding something back. Something terrible.

"Well Miach we have heard reports of the Soma familia and with Lili's testimony it won't take us long to put a case together," Astraea said folding her hands together on the table. I then decided to speak up as I hadn't t said a word the entire time since Miach started explaining.

"And how long would that take," I asked. Astraea looked at me and her gaze softened a little before she spoke. "If everything goes smoothly then it should only take a few weeks" she explained. I started to feel my anger come back.

"You have two eyewitness testimonies right in front of you. Why are you not heading there to enact your so-called justice now" I growled trying to keep my anger under control.

"Because it's your word against theirs," Astraea said professionally sensing the growing tension in the room. I then let out a wry chuckle before I stood up from my seat. My familia is in danger and she wants to wait. Like hell.

"Well Miach we tried it your way," I said walking behind Astraea's chair and towards the door. "Regis stay here and keep an eye on Miach and Lili," I said nearing reaching the exit of the room.

"Bell what are doing" Astraea worriedly asked. As she started to follow behind me. "Don't worry about it it's none of your business" I angrily said not breaking my stride despite hearing more people getting up to follow us.

"Bell think about what you're doing," she said grabbing my arm. I yanked my arm away from her before I faced her. "Don't touch me" I said pointing at her. "I am not in your familia and you don't have control over me" I growled at her. Her face was filled with concern for whatever reason.

"Bell. Please this isn't you. I've heard about all the kind things you have done since you came here don't- I cut her off.

"Don't. Don't you dare start acting like a mother to me. Never had one and I'll never need one so don't you even start. I don't know what your whole agenda was here but it didn't work. Now I'm leaving don't try and stop me" I said turning back around and heading towards the exit. I didn't hear any footsteps follow me this time. Making my way out of the house and into the streets I knew where I was going.

Miach POV

"Well don't just stand there girls go and get your equipment we need to stop him before he does something drastic," Astraea said clapping her hands together. Her children rushed to their rooms to grab their equipment while I calmly stood up and helped Lili snap out of her shock.

"Don't worry my child. Once the day is over you'll no longer have to worry about them anymore" I told her. I watched her face go from confusion to joy once she realized what I had said.

"You're asking Lili to join your familia," she asked. I nodded my head. "Yes but only if you want to though" I then saw out of the corner of my eye that Astraea was getting closer.

"You knew he would do this didn't you" she sternly asked. "Of course, I did that was the first thing he wanted to do. I had to convince him to come here and I barely did that" I calmly told her. She huffed before taking a breath and letting it out. I then started walking to the door. "If we hurry you might be able to stop him" I calmly said knowing Bell had most likely used static void to get a head-start.

It appears we arrived after Bell judging by the fire and broken but alive bodies on the ground that were unconscious. I could see the look of shock on Astraea's face as she most likely didn't expect Bell to do something like this. Judging by the way the bodies were broken and the fact that some of them were pinned to the wall using their own weapons Bell used scare tactics while he fought.

Yet Bell was nowhere to be seen outside and it was oddly quiet. "Fan out and search for him he's still around" Astraea ordered. Her familia started to make their way into the courtyard but stopped when we heard glass shatter and saw the Soma familia captain fly out of it.

He landed with a sicking crunch on the glass and ground. Before he started to crawl toward us.

"Help. Please help he's a monster" he groaned out. I then looked to the window seeing Bell jump out of it and land gracefully on the ground. He threw his knife into the captain's legs and using a thicker string on mana than he normally did pulled the captain to him. He then kicked him over back onto his back and drove his knife through the man's hand implying it to the ground and trapping the man.

He then got on top of him pinning his other arm to the ground before he punched him in the face. Over and over again he kept punching and punching and punching. We heard the sicking crunch of Bell breaking the tiny bones in Zanis's face and Bell's own hand. He then gave one final punch before he got off the man and yanked his knife out of his hand no doubt severing some nerves. He then started walking towards us. Zanis then rolled back over and his face was broken. It was black and blue and Bell had practically caved in the right side of his face. Yet Zanis spoke and sealed his fate after he saw Lili.

"Oh, you did it for. You did it for the lying no good backstabbing bitch and for what. Oh did she offer herself to you? Hate to break it to you but she's used goods" Bell stopped in his tracks when he heard that and I could hear the faint sound of crackling.

Zanis kept taking feeling brave now that Astraea was here. What he forgot was she saw what Bell did to him. "Oh, she didn't tell you. We had her every night. She would kick and scream and beg but it didn't matter" the cackling got louder. "We still passed her around like the cumdump she is"

Bell then shot forward at Zanis his fist infused with lighting hitting him square in the stomach. Zanis threw up his breakfast from the force of the blow and began wheezing. Bell kicked him over on his back and put his foot on the man's balls.

"I was gonna let you be taken into custody. Just a simple beating to warn you never to mess with Lili again. But you went and ran your mouth" he then applied more pressure.

"W-wait what are you doing? Someone stop him please" Zanis begged as he cried. "But this. This is a message to anyone who dares mess with anyone close to me Downforce"

Bell's foot then shot down to the ground causing Zanis's balls to explode on impact. He started crying in pain while Bell calmly walked over to us. Yet his face held one of immense anger. He walked up to Lili and kneeled in front of her.

"He will never hurt you again I promise you that" he then stood up and began to walk home before Alise grabbed his arm.

"What was that brutality Bell" she angrily asked.

"That was me doing your fucking job," he said yanking his arm away from her which shocked her.

"You should be arrested," Ryu said grabbing her wooden sword. He turned and looked at her dead in the eyes. His glare unnerved her a little.

"Why you have no proof. It's your word against mine" he spat before he began walking home with Lili and I following. I turned to see why Regis wasn't but he started to talk to Astraea.

"You may be disgusted at what Bell did" he began not calling Bell kid like he normally did. "But he only did it cause it was the right thing to do. And the fact that he who I will remind you is only 14. Had to do something like that. It shows your justice is blind. Take a lesson from this Astraea familia because right now Bell just sent a message to all of Orario" Regis finished as he began to walk towards us.

"And what was his message," Astraea asked. Regis stopped and turned back around. "That the shit you allowed gods and their familia's to get away with for years has come to an end. Either you follow this shift or get left behind in the dust" Regis said. Yet his voice wasn't full of contempt or malice but disappointment. He then walked next to us all the way home leaving the Astraea familia with something to think about.

"Lili don't be scared of Bell. He didn't do this because he likes hurting people he did this because he wants to help as many as he can" Regis said not looking at Lili.

"I know but it was scary to see" she mumbled. "I know he can be scary like that but it's only happened once before" Regis replied moving closer to Lili so she could feel safer. I'd have to as Regis what he meant about Bell acting like that before he came to Orario. But that can wait. Right now we all need to unwind and welcome Lili to the familia.

Another cheater is done and it was a brutal one. Now if Lili being raped made you feel uncomfortable I'm sorry but I want to portray a darker type of story than the usual fanfics I see and I'm sorry to say but that won't be the only mention of it. The world is a cruel place where stuff like this happens and if reading about it makes it uncomfortable I'll put a warning at each chapter it's mentioned.

Now with that out of the way, I hoped you enjoyed downforce as that's the whole reason I thought of this chapter. Originally Lili's arc was gonna be longer but I changed my mind in the end as I didn't know how to stretch it out a bit more.

Now onto the Astraea familia. That ship is kinda sinking right now and the reason, Bell is hard on Astraea is because he sees her as a hypocrite. She's a goddess of justice yet she discriminates. But hopefully, the mendy water between him and her familia will mend.
